Comment: Manager Jared talked down to me every time I tried to communicate, as well as, cut me off when I suggested that we should put in a complaint to the corporate office about my unique problem. it’s always important to improve system. I wanted to make sure that he understood my situation so he could communicate it properly, However, Jered would not hear me out and in the end walked away and was rude. I understand now why the employees seem tense at the doorway of the establishment… They have to work with Jared as their boss.

Comment: I went to the store thinking that the problem I had communicating with phone support would be easier in person. I took with me the email I had for a change of service confirmation but both the initial agent Nate and the supervisor Christopher apparently are not able to resolve the problem. On May 30, I got a confirmation of updated service via the phone with the confirmation sent by email. But the current bill does not reflect the new service plan. Christopher and Nate claim that the new plan described by the Service Order Confirmation is actually not in effect, and they have no ability to correct the problem. But they did have the ability to try to get me commit to their own plan, which required a 12 month contract with early termination penalties. I also asked to have my monthly payment directly from my bank account terminated. While this may have been done, Christopher said he could NOT show me the information that he had entered into my account. I find this very distressing, especially under these circumstances.

I arrived at the place and the receptionist “long hair” thought I spoke Spanish, after serving 4 people who arrived after me and I asked what time they would serve me and he answered that I had to wait until the only person who spoke Spanish was free. But I was speaking English with him. When they finally helped me, the young lady who speaks Spanish (I heard her speaking Spanish with other costumers) and I asked her for the name of the gentleman who was rude to me and she refused to give it to me. The saddest and most embarrassing thing is that they made me wait for the person who spoke Spanish and from the moment I entered until I left everyone spoke to me in English and I communicated with everyone in English. Why they don’t have name tags? Why they make me wait? If they assume that I spoke Spanish why they were speaking in English?

Comment: Recently switched 3 of my phones to xfinity mobile. Worst decision I have made in a long time. It is impossible to talk with a person. They bill you and you cannot access your account. They literally take money from you and you dont even get to see a bill. They say there plans are cheap but they make it so you immediately have to upgrade to get the same level of service you are used to. Device protection is more expensive then other providers. They say you get $100 for bringing your own device, but you dont and you never will. This is the worat cell service ever. Oh, and its not linked to your current xfinity services so you now have 2 bills a month instead of 1. Alao you have to use different login information then your current account. I am trying to cancel and it is impossible to do it online, the links just load forever. I cannot get anyone of the phone. I literally have 1 bar of service everywhere. I havent been able to receive a call for over a month. I never get texts. Just dont do it.

Comment: Giving them a -0 star. Recently cut the cord with Comcast/Xfinity Cable services. And could not be happier. Ordered a Roku Streaming Stick 4K from Amazon for $39.99. Set it up in minutes, now I can watch live TV FREE including numerous movies, series, sports, and news stations. There are free apps also included and you have the option to add premium stations all for less that $10 each if you need more. Most have a 1-week to 30-day free trial before applying a charge, and you can always cancel before the end of the free trial. You literally can get almost all the content you want free or with additional minimal fees to customize your preferences all for half the price of Comcast.I had been a loyal customer for decades and had had it with their ongoing massive monthly increases for services that were never upgraded. Customer service is the WORST, untrained unprofessional agents that are not helpful and often are rude and waste your time on the phone. Getting help is useless at this company. I canceled my service and the next day returned the cable box and remote to the store. They refused to give me any paperwork as my proof of return, told me just take a picture of the box. They got irritated with me when I took pictures of my returned equipment with the store walls in the background. Unethical practices. Also took a picture from the street of the front of the store in anticipation of issues with my return not being processed. Timestamps on pics dont lie. They told me I would receive an email from the warehouse when they checked in my equipment. So far nothing! That was 10-days ago.In all fairness some techs that have come to my home to resolve issues were extremely helpful, others were just idiots and were not prepared when they arrived to resolve issues by having replacement parts and boxes to solve the issue. NEVER AGAIN will I do business with this company. I kept the internet service temporarily while looking into a better company before cancelling that service.CUT THE CORD! Save your money, dont let them take advantage of you! You can do better.

It has been over 4 months Xfinity keeps harassing me that I owe them money. I asked for an appt to install it and employee wrote a date and time on a piece of paper. I asked for a confirmation number. Dont need one. No one showed up and there was no record of the appt so I had to wait another week. Tech came out and said its not a new box but a new remote I need. So Ill be taking the new box back again! Great. Especially to file any form of complaint.Today, while leaving work I was almost hit by a Comcast van. On a busy one way 2 lane intersection a Comcast van not only ran the stop sign, but also came mere inches from running me over. Close enough that I, in my surprise, hit the dude of the van, and still the driver just continued to barrel down the street.While trying to contact the company I found that there is no way to speak to a representative as stated above. I went to the local storefront and the manager they blew me off and told me I would have to wait in a 1.5 hour line to file a complaint.

Love Xfinity and have never had an issues with customer service as i know to stay on top of my promotion end date and contact Xfinity through chat for a new promotion. Comcast has to be the best company i’ve been with. At&t and DirecTV are the WORST when it comes to deals and internet connectivity in general. Would definitely (and have) recommend Xfinity to friends and family.

Comment: I picked up my equipment here a year and a half ago and it was a fairly easy process to get TV & internet. My experience with Xfinity declined from here.Your bill will be riddled with fees which mysteriously rise month after month. Don’t worry the miscellaneous fees they made up are included, but your internet/ TV box rentals are not. Basically everything you thought would be included in your bill is an additional “Fee”.Forget about calling, just use the app or website they’ll tell you. These are no more than a labyrinth of irrelevant info and feedback loops pushing you towards spending more $ for incremental services.There is no way to cancel your services online once you get tired of all the headaches above, and you may be forced to call or visit their store in person. I may still be there waiting.Run away folks, run!

Comment: While the store is exceptionally clean the waiting area leaves something to be desired. A father with an infant baby (as well as a few other people) were left to squat on the floor near the door for an extended period of time while waiting to be served. I do realize that we are in the midst of a pandemic the organization at this location needs work. Upon arrival, during the week the store opens later than other business leaving you waiting outside with two lines and no clear direction as to which line to stand in. Sadly I was waiting to return equipment and pickup a cable cord, I was in the wrong line and had lost my place in the order of arrival leaving me to wait behind people who arrived 15-20 minutes after myself. After which I waited an additional 25-30 minutes to be helped. The lady Cheryl who checked people in was very kind (seemingly a bit stressed and inundated with questions) handled it very well. While the pregnant woman who served me was very rude being short extremely curt with me (in my opinion; this is just a job for her and she doesnt belong in customer service), she helped another customer when she was supposed to be helping me, they should have waited their turn as I did. I was able to return my equipment and get an additional cable cord without the piece that would allow me to connect the two cords together. My trip to the store was useless as I needed to go back the next day. This was not the first nor was it my only time I had received poor customer service at Comcast/Xfinity in the 30+ years I have been a customer; and do not recommend this store or this service to anyone. I am currently seeking another provider due to poor customer service and extremely high prices.

Comment: Sammie, a tech from Xfinity, saved Christmas for us. The new Sony Bravia 65” OLED TV we bought from Best Buy didn’t work when Geek Squad tried synching our equipment. They blamed Xfinity and left. Said they couldn’t return for 2 weeks 😳. We called Xfinity. They walked us through phone procedures, then sent someone out within 2 days. Antonio exchanged cable boxes which helped, but we still had intermittent sound and freezing problems in a short while. Called Xfinity again, Mustafa really tried to help over the phone, but it needed an in-home tech. They sent Sammie within 2 days. Sammie was polite, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He spent the time necessary to detect the source of our problems. He went outside to the cable equipment, upstairs to the main router equipment, replaced the cable box downstairs (this is our fourth), attached some new wire in the back of the cable box, and reset everything up. I can’t tell you how happy we are with Sammie’s services from Xfinity. 💐

One other minor inconvenience is there are no restrooms for customers so make your pit stop before you come in.

Poor organization: Staff came out regularly to write down names and check why people were in line, but each time a different employee came out, we were all asked the same questions over again; there seemed to be no communication between employees. Poor service: Several impatient remarks when I tried to verify details on my account, even though I asked because the employee had misstated information about my account. Poor humanity: While I was in the store, a gentleman came in stating that someone in line had fallen down. Employees requested he leave the store, and made comments to each other once he left about how they didnt care what happened outside the doors.Will be investigating Sonic as an alternative to Xfinity. For the last 8-10 years we have paid electronically From our bank to Comcast, San Ramon, to an account number that an installer gave us when we upgraded in 2007. Apparently that was the wrong account number or the account number changed, but they have always processed our payment until last month. I have call at least 6 times to trace our payment which our bank has verified was paid and cashed by Comcast. Today the operator said I had to go to a store to show proof of payment. Who ever was at the door wouldn’t even listen to what I had to say. My next step is to cancel service and go with another company, if someone from Comcast doesn’t step up and help me contact someone from accounting.

Comment: My friend went to Comcast. The Customer representative got the order all wrong. She said “Just go home, plug it in and call this number to activate your internet.” Not that easy. Representative must have been new. The account was not active and the 800 number representative had to find the account by digging for last name and address. Complicated and of course frustrating. Sonic sends a representative to hook up your house phone, activate your internet and stats until you are satisfied.... phone and internet for the same price as Comcast internet only. I have sonic

Comment: CONSTANT WAITING. 25min wait just to pickup a new modem? Why was the guy in the back of the store for almost 10min looking for a modem? Are they taking breaks while customers wait? I picked up a new cable box and they stole the splitter out of the new cable package I got. Seems like they have enough time and money to redo the store.

Comment: 1 of the 2 express pay machines was offline. the working express pay machine wasnt responsive to touch and when mentioned to an associate I was told it just takes a minute.No clear check in kiosk.No one available to greet incoming customers.Very busy for mid afternoon.

Comment: Dan goes the extra mile to figure out the problem helps you out however he can or finds someone who can if he can’t but what the best part is he didn’t give up or make me feel rushed he stood there and went over everything until I understood it yes the wait might be long because of people like me and the fact business is booming but it’s worth it I’d rather leave the store knowing what I’m being charged for and that I have the equipment I need.... don’t bother wasting you breath calling I’ve never had a good experience with customer service on the phone take the time and go see Dan and it will save you hours of disconnected phone calls excessive frustration leading to no where not to mention horrible customer service! THANKS DAN this is the second time you have helped me out!

Comment: I was highly disappointed with the communication at this location. I cancelled my service in person and the agent that helped me (Trever) lead me to believe he was able to waive my early termination fee. When I received my final bill it still included the termination fee. Thanks for the false help Trever 👎

Comment: This company is the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to customer service. A call in to dispute the bill will almost always be a time vampire, and leave you enraged afterwards. many times when I would call in to add or delete a service, some small charge would be added on like a modem rental or some kind of insurance for service calls. i feel like this company is unethical. The service is reliable and fast, but not worth the hassle.

Comment: This is the WORST SERVICE ever. I have called to discuss an error in my billing, waited almost 30 minutes only to be disconnected. Every time I have called this happens, even after I ask agent too PLEASE CALL ME BACK if disconnected. I was overbilled, talked to an agent, thought the whole issue was resolved only to find out NOTHING WAS DONE AT ALL!Your company is a monopoly taking advantage of all who need internet/TV. I am looking to find another source of Internet, so I can drop you all!

Comment: Extremely long line, just wanting to return equipment prior to moving from area. It was a large box, and I just felt like it would be better if a customer service person could spot something like that and maybe offer a spot to set the equipment down while waiting. Otherwise, smooth operation.

Comment: Ive gone into Comcast a couple times over the last 5 years and always had a good experience. Its never been a long wait time and the service is always really good. I thought I had a good deal before I got to the store, but the friendly customer service representative there let me know of an even better deal. I dropped off my old equipment and got my new equipment in less than 10 minutes.

Comment: Went to Santa Rosa Xfinity to have them help me transition the transfer of apps and data to a new replacement phone.The young male clerk who did the transitioning of info from my old phone to the new replacement phone, seemed to know what he was doing. However, when i left, and got into my vehicle and attempted to use the new phone, my apps frombthe old phone hadnt transferred. I went back inside and spent another 30 minutes waiting while my clerk and another person tried to figure out what had happened.What I was told would take about 15 minutes took over an hour! And I thought ATT and Verizon were bad!

Comment: All you need know is that if you absolutely have no other option than to enter this lower level of Hades you should bring the Iliad by Homer to pass your time while you listen to your watch tick away the seconds, minutes and hours you will be waiting. Once you are finally served you will most likely find the employees do not have permission to accomplish any service request you are making of them anyway, fun times.

Comment: I recall a time when the only longer line than the cable office was at the Post Office. Not here; this Xfinity store has a well-designed waiting room with a computerized queue that lets you wandet around, sit comfortably, even watch TV without losing your position in line! Plus the techs are several steps above clerks. They actively help you find the service plan you can afford.

On both occasions, the wait time was excessive and the reps seemed more interested in up-selling service packages than understanding concerns. One can only hope for a competitor to enter the marketplace soon.

Comment: I tried to buy internet through both Comcasts website and through phone representatives, but every step of both of those processes was a huge pain. Finally I decided just to go to the store and get things done and it was extremely pleasant. The waiting area is comfortable with a huge TV playing a movie, the staff were super helpful and patient, and most of all I walked out feeling like I was treated fairly not scammed. If you need to buy cable, dont waste your time on the phone, just go into the store and get it done in less time and with less trouble.

Comment: Incredibly inept service. We closed our business and hence switched from Comcast Business to a Comcast Residential plan. This requires a service tech to come out and switch boxes. However, he could NOT take our old box back and give us a receipt because he did not work for the business department. He did make arrangements at my wifes behest to schedule another technician to come out and pick the boxes the next day. The new technician arrives the next day but thought he was making a service call and had no way to give us a receipt for the boxes.This guy instructed us to go to the Comcast Xfinity Store in town. We spent almost an hour there with a nice lady who made all kinds of calls on our behalf only to tell us that she could NOT give us credit for the boxes we brought for 3 weeks when our business account was officially closed! WHAT??? Wasted time, employees who care but cant help facilitate a simple return. To top it off, we got a letter in the mail a week later from Comcast warning us that we would be charged if we did not return our boxes! I will be looking for an alternative to our Comcast Residential soon.

The Philippines call center is not great, but if you work with the Comcast Business Services Group----you can see what Good Comcast Service Looks like! Comment: The space is well organized and clean. Available parking. I went in on a Monday afternoon and there was a 10 minute wait. Some staff did seem to be inattentive to the growing line, but they were friendly when I got to the front. The man serving us did misinform us at one point and was able to correct his response after consulting a more knowledgeable colleague who was free. He showed evidence of recently getting a job there (missing info on the computer screen that his colleague pointed out) I worry if it had been busier we may have left with bad information. They were also unable to transfer service to another state, but apparently thats a national issue, not just at this store.

They make us get a new box, send a broken one, installer comes out, insists on trying to install broken box, gets half way through installation and goes out to truck and drives off. I didnt even know he was gone until I looked out and saw the truck was gone!!! So sitting at comcast store waiting to find out what is next step or how long I might have to wait for next installer to come T ALL. I guess they figure they are getting paid for the day so why hurry. Footnote when I got home at 7:30 pm my TV was no longer working so the guy at the store did something to my account to disable my TV. GREAT JOB COMCAST, YOU R ABSOLUTELY THE WORST BUSINESS EVER.

Comment: Simply getting through their automated phone system guarantees that any interaction that I have with Comcast is going to be rated a 1. (Id give them a negative rating if Google let me.) Any time a company enjoys an essential monopoly due to govt regulations (cronyism), you get a company that behaves like a govt agency: terrible service, complete disrespect for their customers, no desire to improve, exploitative business practices, and high prices. Comment: When you work with older clients of say 80 to 90 years of age you should OFFER to come to their home to check out any problems that they have with their TV reception. This was not done for my 88 year old aunt and she now has no TV reception at all. She assumes that this is due to her picking up a new box but not returning the old one. It would be a good idea on your part to at least offer the possibility of a home service call when talking to our elders. I was not able to schedule a home service call, the young man that I talked to on the 800# said he was unable to call out to her number. My Aunt was unable to contact Comcast with the 2 or 3 800#s she had. This has been very frustrating for her.

Out of the blue they change my services and with their latest change when I call in I get only spanish speaking customer service reps, i dont speak spanish!! In the morning Im taking their box back and going back to my ROKU!! Finally after two hours I got through to the loyalty dept. who claim in the next 10 minutes my services will be put back how they were before the crash!! Just called in to see what language I get, still spanish so far.

Comment: Dishonest and bad people. I ordered new service yesterday and got the surprise of my life. Just as expensive as my current Dish Network and AT&T service, but a $264 installation surprise and no DVR. They lied to me then tried to lie to cover up their first lie. I am a Grandfather and I know BS when I hear it. These people tried to have sex with me and not the kind that I am into. DANGER they will take advantage of you if you give them the opportunity. Everything I had heard about them is true. Bad Company and apparently no way to improve their stupidity. As my Dad used to say, you can not fix stupid and add to that dishonesty. WOW Didnt their president say the other day that it would take two or three years to fix their issues? You can get your teeth straightened in less time than that.
