One of the worst car washes in Westland. I have been trying to get my refund from them for months now. The customer service is non-existent. I had the top of the line monthly service. The bottom of the barrel, cheapest wash was better than what I was paying for. The soap was always left on the car. So I would have soap spots everywhere for $49 a month. The whole drying system needs to be revamped. It barely dries the car. So soap spots and water spots left on the car. It would look better before I had the car wash. Never again will a go there. Plus, my barcode would never work. I tried 5 different locations and same thing. Always had to wait for someone to show up and let me in. Hopefully someone that works here sees this and can make it right.
Poor wash for $10 car is still dirty after wash. Will not return
They charged my bank account double every month and was not able to resolve. You cant ever reach anyone and even with making a trip up there they still owe me $100. The owner never reached out to me, but at least the account is cancelled. They wont ever get my business again.
First (and last) time customer. My SUV, which just had dust from sitting in a driveway for 2 weeks, came out of this car wash with the back end still soapy and the sides of the vehicle smeared. The less expensive drive-thru car washes on Wayne Rd. do a much better job.
This is the worst car wash I have ever been,my car got screeched when they washed and they told me it’s from driving on highway from the rocks,very unprofessional stuff,I would never go there again.
Ive had a fast pass here for a while now. I like mine the best but I can go to any one of them around me. I wash my car 4 times a week in the winter and 2 or 3 times a week in the summer.
Very poor quality of wash. Went through for a deluxe was, came out with tons of soap still on the rear of my car. Spoke to the attendant, went through again with a express wash, still soap on the rear in my vehicle. The vacuums barely touch the amount of water on your vehicle. Very poor quality car wash for the price you pay. Will NOT be returning to this wash.
Just visited this car wash around 5PM today (4/2/21) and selected the wash ‘package’ right below the most expensive one. My wash was supposed to include an actual wash - complete - with tire shine. My vehicle is still very much visibly dirty and my four tires are all dry. I will never patronize this business again.(I also phoned this location for assistance with either a refund, a partial credit, or a free re-wash. Unsurprisingly, the employees did not answer.)
I got a free pass for an express wash from the dealership that repaired my vehicle. I just happened to be driving by and decided to get a wash. The coupon was for an express wash. So the cheapest one. I was pleasantly surprised. Usually when you get a cheap wash your tires or your rims dont come out looking very clean. But mine did. The overall wash was also good. Im sure if a more expensive selection was made it would have dried the car better. But beggars cant be choosers, right! All in all Id go back.
Employee made sure to hand brush our car off before sending us through the automated car wash. Did a great job. There wasnt any wait. Took cash or credit.
Like the carwash. But the lot is absolutely horrendous!! So many potholes and they are deep. so after you go through the car wash you now have to go through these really deep muddy-filled potholes in your car get dirty again. Not a good look.
If I could give them no stars, I would. They charged my account over $100 and have not returned my funds. You cant ever reach anyone by phone for billing issues, and no one is ever available at this establishment for assistance. Poor customer service. Do not go here.
Purchased the unlimited fast pass online and went to redeem it. The guy that came out asked me if I could print it at home because it would take them too long to process it without the printed email. Fine. I did that and the next time I came back to redeem it the girl working alone told me her barcode scanner wasnt working and she wasnt able to look up my code in the system but a tech would be out later and told me to come back another time. And to top it off I tried to use on of their vacuums and it turned on but had no suction so I lost that dollar too
Okay wash but they zip your dry off through when they have a line. Totally unacceptable when I pay for monthly service
Zaxs is a great deal. I get the works for $29 a month all the washes I need!!Most of the workers due a concerned job. You have a few that dont give a hoot. I do have one issue sometimes there is too much soap applied.
My car never comes out clean no matter what wash I purchased. This is the second time having to go through for a rewash. Not to mention they had to stop the wash right in the middle of the washing because no water was coming out🤦♀️🤷♀️ However, they were apologetic both times.
This car wash is garbage . I had to go home and pretty much re-wash my car . Used to be $6 now it’s $7 and I’m not sure why when the quality is still pathetic . Will not ever go back .
The soap did not get all the way ripped off my car, and Im pretty certain the guy did not do all the options that I paid for.
It doesnt rinse the soap off all the way much less dry well.
Id never gone to a car wash by myself before, but the people were very nice when I wasnt sure how far up to put my car or what exactly I should do. I wish the drying part at the end worked a little better, but the little water marks arent a big deal.
They completely destroyed my tire and rim! They then lied that they would contact their manager and I had to force the attendants to call. I was recommended this company and paid the highest to see premium results and I got trashed on. I feel saddened about this local companys ethics. Shame.
Decent car wash. Good prices. Nobody to towel dry your car. If you dont want leftover water on your car that the air dryer didnt get then you need to bring your own towel. Bring your own air freshener also because they dont have those either. Good cheap wash though.
I go 5 days a week for the last 6 years pass on my way home from work everyday. Love the service and get my money worth. If I feel like it can be better I just come back later and run it through again.
Great car wash. It actually cleans your car/truck! Not like some of these places that just scratch the hell out of it and leave one side still all dirty.. Zax is AWESOME!!! GREAT JOB.DONT FORGET TO TIP PEOPLE!!
I paid $14 for a car wash that didn’t wash my car and left dried on soap all over. It also took six minutes and there were zero cars in front of me. Very disappointed.
Over priced,The tenants dont brush my vehicle.After going through the $20.00 hot wax wash my vehicle spot of dirt that was miss through the system and rear of my vehicle was not even trouble, horrible and over price.
Staff is lazy. Theres a middle age gentleman whos the least friendly of them all. A lot of times Ill pull in to the wash and have to wait a few minutes for the staff to come inside from smoking. Theres a door to the left when you pull up that a couple of then stand outside. The wait gets to be a couple minutes long. There was a day I thought they walked off the job.You have to wait for some to bring you an unlimited pass, if youre purchasing, and I waited so long I decided against it that trip. The next trip I ended up waiting almost ten minutes for someone to come out. I purchased the works package. No towel dry is offered. There is soap left on the car, its not rinsed
The car was still dirty The back window still dirty. Wont be going back. Too many other car washes in the area. The blower left the car wet not dry.
I used to use this exact location, with my utility basket on top of the car with no issues had the unlimited payment for I dont know a year suddenly I put the basket on a different car and now the baskets cant go through the car wash or people are lazy and dont like their job
The colored hair girl is absolutely disrespectful rude and a very bad worker, she barley sprayed my car and just sent it through an it came out looking pretty dirty still. She is a very bad worker do not recommend going to that wash if she’s working.
If NO STARS was an option this is what they would get. I wish I had read the reviews before going to this car wash. I paid $15 for a ultimate wash and $10 for a second wash. On the first wash my car was still dirty and had white spots all over it from theie product. I went back and told some guy who claimed to be the manager that my car was still dirty. He refused to come out to see where the dirty spots were. The rear view mirrors and rear window still had dirt and was spotty. He didn’t seem to care and said he’d run it through again. I told him where the dirt was and after the second wash same problem. I don’t have time to run my car through the car wash all day only to have the same problem occur. I want a refund since I had to go to a different car wash to get my car clean. I will not be returning to this car wash. I will also post pictures. I saw people wiping down their own cars after going through the car wash. So this is apparently a consistent problem.
Car wash was good i guess... but this is the first time i leave the wash without anyone drying my car after. Its like going to a restaurant ordering food and having noone come out to serve you it. Like what? What kind of car wash doesnt have atleast one person to dry your car. Mind you, there were employees there that put soap on my car before tha wash. But noone on the other side to dry it off. Thats absolutely unheard of. Do yourself a favor, drive the extra miles and go somewhere else.
Got a regular car wash. bugs still on the front windshield. Parts of the car were missed and still dirty. Air blower barely got the water off. I gave a $2 tip for extra attention. Got nothing.
My experience is simple. They cleaned my car well without any damages, of which I expect is desired by any patron. This is all that I seek when paying services; good service.
Always a great experience coming here. This is the only autowash that I know of, its also competitively priced compared to others.
There are 6 to 9 dollar car washesOk. The car washers were kind to me and helped me with the pay machine with cash. When I am back that way again I and I need a car wash I will stop back. Thanks again. Great asset to the community. That is a clean business. Miss bridget ford
Poor wash/equipment, top dollar prices.Took my Mountaineer in last week. I chose the special which was $10 (normally a $13-$14 wash, their prices go up to over $20 for the premium wash*). The machines missed big spots on my tailgate and good 6 circles around each of the wiper fluid nozzles on the hood (both of which are very typical when going to most cheap car washes, I dont consider $10 + tip a cheap car wash and expected better more accurate equipment). The dryers are lacking as well. Truck had water on all surfaces still after exiting the wash. There is no attendant at the end to wipe down your vehicle.I could have gone to the cheap car washes on Wayne Rd and received a better wash. Their prices are in line with Johnsons or Jax, both places provide an exponentially better wash and service. Avoid.
Not Good car wash. took basic car wash for $5. due to this my expectations were not too high. chose this car wash after long drive to clean all bugs on my car. those bugs were still there after car wash. had to clean my car at other car wash.

Nothing spectacular. Ive had a monthley subscription for a while and there alot of cons to this car wash compared to super car wash who Ive been a member with for a couple years.Cons-i can only go to this one location- members have to pay for vacuum usage- the cleanliness of the vehicles after leaving car wash is 5-10.. If you dry your car then it would look clean.. Which brings me to my next point.- there is no one to dry off your vehicle not even for a fee. Id rather it be included but we have to do all the dirty work ourselves. The only pro about this is you can get a monthly subscription. Other than that if there were competitors in the area i would definetly be gone.Owner clearly does not care about the consumer. Hes already saving money by having the automated paying maschine/ gate. Then he charges loyal members for vacuum usage and then has the audacity not to have a person do courtesy dry off and earn tips.At the end of the day the consumer is what matters. Consumers pay your bills. Without us there is no you. You should be ashamed to Nickel and dime your loyal customers!!!
Cant beat the monthly price of 14.99. Cheapest Ive seen for unlimited monthly car washes. Car is still left slightly dirty in some spots, especially the back but you get what you pay for.
I didn’t get one area cleaned 100%. Dirt steaks on every corner and throughout.
Terrible. Over priced. My Jeep wasnt that dirty, and I had left over dirt all over my car so I paid too much to not get a decent wash and then have water still dripping off my car like the air dryers werent on. Wont be going back.
Very good local car wash service, it is important in the begining the workers to clean your vehicle well if they dont you wont be happy when you go through the machines

As we were going through the car wash a rock from the machine hit the windshield and broke it. not just a chip, it put a golf-ball size chip and spider webbed the windshield. the gentleman working said that he was sorry that it happened and that we needed to call management to get a resolution for the damaged windshield. well after many phone calls over three days john (manager) said that there is nothing that he would do to fix it. you did damage to the car and said TO BAD!!!TERRIBLE SERVICE
Way overpriced for a subpar car wash. My mirrors and windows are way dirtier than when I entered. The water seemed to leave a strange cloudy Haze covering everything.

Ive taken a full size truck and minivan through there, most recently on 3/14/18 and it missed most of the back of the van and parts of the sides. Ill just wash them at home and save my $7.
Awful. Workers are extremely rude. No one comes out when the automatic payment machine is down or to take gift cards. Way over priced for such poor quality wash. Theres another car wash around the corner, take the extra minute to drive around the corner!!!!

Damaged my Lincoln Navigator and refuses to work with me on rectifying. Quality, customer service and accountability is subpar. Would not recommend. They chose litigation over simply remedy. BAD BAD business.

Friendly and fast working staff makes the way a quick process. Usually I can get my car washed while Im out on break and still have time for food.
I still think the previous owners put a little more work into cleaning your car than relying on the brushes. The wheel cleaner needs improvement.
The car wash is ok, nice people and everything but it doesnt dry the car that well at the ending.

2022-08-10Its a nice facility and their subscription wash offering is really nice, using a FastPass sticker on the windshield to authenticate you and let you thru their gate. Their gate is also automated and they accept NFC (Tap-toPay) payments.The rinse could be a bit better, I always have soap still in my mirrors and hatchbacks with a big flat rear get some missed scrubbing.The automated gate needs some love too. I often pull into one of their 2 FastPass lanes and the opposite gate will open. This forces me to have to back up and get in the other gate line. Surprisingly, this hasnt happened yet while another person was at the second gate. There are times where the gate wont trigger at all and I have to move to the other gate. Im pretty sure the left gate always gives me trouble. Im going to make a note of it for the future.Staff is fantastic and have been very helpful the rare couple of times I have needed assistance.

2021-02-17I went for the best wash they had just now and its horrible. I just got out of my car and Im looking at the back of the car, its completely dirty. Im so annoyed right now.Paid $18 for this. Do not use this car was service. See for yourself.

2021-02-19I got my car washed here today and my car got damaged, was very quickly called by the manager named John who told me I am not obligated to give you my name. He was VERY rude, condescending, and hung up on me after telling me there was nothing going to be done about this and there is no one else I could talk to about the situation. John was not trying to hear where I was coming from at all, he just kept telling me how it wasnt his fault. I used this car wash all the time when I lived near it, its unfortunate they have such poor management.

2020-10-14*****UPDATED 10/14/2020*****Zax management did reach out to me and apologize for the tire shine debacle (it was a software issue with the computer / wash package) and the scratching of my mirrors. The last few times Ive been through and have examined the mirrors, it appears they have repaired whatever was off with the carwash components. The girl with the colored hair is still nice and does a pretty good job with the spraying down of the car before it goes in the car wash. I am now upgrading my review to 4.5 stars from 2.*************************************************************************More expensive is not always the bestIve been going to Zax for a while now and I have never really had any issues..........until the last couple months. I pay monthly for the ultimate wash which is supposed to be the cats meow of car washes. Well, let me give everyone a fair word of advice (which will be backed up by the photos below)......stay away from the packages that offer the TIRE SHINE near the end of the wash. Oh yes, your tires will have that beautiful shine on them, but that spray gets everywhere. Drive about a mile down the road and you will find that the tire shine all over the sides your car in the way of black spots which is the shine attracting all the road dirt. Alloy wheels after Tire shine......forget it....the spray gets all over the rim and is a magnet for brake dust. This situation results in your car wash being a total waste of money. Today though........stick a fork in me as I might be done for good with this place.. I stopped in on my way to work and when I went through the wash, one of the left spinners did a number on my left side non folding side mirror. (of course I didnt see it until I arrived at work and was wiping all the SHINE spots off my doors and tire wells) In all the time Ive been going to Zax, thats never happened before. As far as the staff goes, I never had an issue with any of them. I like the girl with the multicolored hair, shes always nice to me. So.......take to heart what I said and use caution if you go there.

2022-02-20Effective Jan 2022 am being charged $17.99 every month while due to an accident I never been to this facility after Dec.15. On December 1, 2021 I purchased their one month pass for car wash . Now I don’t understand the reason why i am being charged. I have requested my credit card company to dispute for these unauthorised charges

2022-03-05Car wash was barely functional. Paid $10 no dirt was washed off and there was no water to wash the soap off of my car. Had to immediately go to another car wash. Dont go here this place is a joke.

2022-05-10They undercarriage sprayers doesnt work ,,the wheel washer doesnt clean the wheels , the dryers doesnt get the water off of my car I had snow on my car and had to go through 2 time just to get the snow off...After 4 years NO MORE..

2021-03-20Not even the doors came out clean. Terrible wash, streaks left on every panel. Soap wasnt completely rinsed. This was with the $15 ultimate waste of money car wash.

2022-01-27Paid $20 for a wash and the whole back of my Escape was missed and the lower part of the rear doors. The $5.00 car washes in Westland and Garden City do a much better job.
