Owners take their own time to seat you and make you feel as comfortable as possible. Not a big fan on bubble tea but decided to try the Oreo slush and it was excellent. They even asked to take a picture of us to upload it online. 10/10 will come back here and try their joint sandwich place The Terry Melt.
I tried the Taro milk tea twice and I like the flavor. The tapioca pearls are soft and tasty. They also have chewy Aloe Vera if you don’t like tapioca. The owner is really kind and helpful. Also they come up with seasonal drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
The bubble tea (I had the original milk tea) was super yummy and the cup it came in was so cute! It is also vegan friendly and the service was really fast and really nice.
The tapioca milk tea was amazing. The staff was very attentive and polite. I highly recommend this establishment.

The bubble tea is good, although they use powder for flavors (unlike traditional bubble tea or boba guys) but I was extremely upset to see that three or four workers did not take the mask wearing seriously, and were going around without it, or had it hanging below their chin or off their ear. The staff were behind a crowded counter, and soon after we got there a crowd of people walked in and weren’t social distancing. The staff and place doesn’t have instructions or clear ways they’re encouraging people to social distance or maintain six feet, and then the staff not taking seriously the masks just makes it a very uncomfortable environment for concerns about the pandemic. The woman who brought the drinks out from behind the counter wasn’t wearing a mask and even walked the drinks over to right next to the crowd of people rather than the other side of the counter where I was standing waiting for the drinks at a safe distance. Very irresponsible for their health and customers health. They need to take public health more seriously.
Our ubereats driver drank our drinks. 0 out of 10 for lettong him. Im expecting free drinks.
1st time going to this place and Im definitely coming back. I heard of Bubble tea but never had the time to try it out. An employee suggested Strawberry Mango and OMG! Im in love😍

This place has really good service, the tall guy with the orange short curly hair was very nice they made a size mistake with my order and let me keep the one he gave me. And he made me another one with the size boba drink I wanted. He was also very nice about it and made sure I got what I wanted. I highly recommend this boba place. And the drink was AMAZING :)))
All I have to say is WOW! The bubble tea is amazing!!! Brianna is the best, every time I go in she takes care of me and makes my drink the best. Service is quick and good. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

This is an absolutely exquisite establishment. I’ve came here many times and expect to come here many more. The service is the best I’ve received in all of the city; and the bubble tea… is to DIE for. It is not an exaggeration when I specify “die”; to perfectly capture the true essence and quintessential feeling of taiwanese cuisine is hard, but this restaurant clearly refined their craft and have managed to make it real. 10/10.
Very very rude employees! Ruined my whole experience. It was my 1st time ordering here and Ill never come back. I asked for unsweetened green tea but they made me add a flavor which was extremely sweet. The menu was confusing and when I wasnt sure what some of the options were, just a dead stare. The employees definitely need to be trained how to speak to customers and how to help them. It was not even busy. There is no excuse to be treated so poorly.
Went to Z’s for the first time today and oh my gosh!!! The owners are SO NICE and KIND. I left there feeling happy and not just because I’m obsessed with bubble tea. I will be back, for sure. The bubble tea was so delicious and made so well, so many options, too. Was a super clean atmosphere, too. Will be back for the food, too. I love seeing happy small business owners. I was so impressed!! Had to leave a great review.

Great and delicious food with great and friendly service! Everything is cooked to order so its fresh taking and hot when it gets to you. I recommend the chicken shawarma pita, myself, and my daughter liked her crispy fish melt. The spicy chicken melt also looked delicious, but I didnt try it. I will definitely eat here again if Im in the area!
They are available on Doordash and Uber eats but have canceled my last 3 orders. Unfortunately it seems they do not allow delivery :(

I originally posted a review last August detailing my disappointment with the boba tea here at Zs. A few weeks ago, I decided to give it another try in hopes to update my review and speak favorably of the tea. Unfortunately, my drink was missing the extra toppings I requested (a persistent issue that was listed in my original review), and so my drink had to be remade. When I brought it up to one of the workers and requested the add-in that I paid for, she treated this request as bothersome... as though it wasnt something I paid for. My original review was deleted, so I could not update it with my lackluster experience here at Zs. Disappointing.
This place has all the ingredients for a great business. Friendly staff, business owners that make you feel right at home, and a friendly and safe environment that keeps my family and I coming back. Not to mention the amazing bubble tea. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to meet some nice people and sip on bubble tea.

I went today and browsed the menu because my friend normally gets what he think i would like. i ordered from size, to flavor, and what add ins i wanted and the lady at the register was very rude. they kept rolling their eyes and speaking lower when i was confused. they also tried to rush me and kept asking if i was finished when i was trying to clarify my order. also all the staff have their mask on their chin or below the nose. especially the cooks… no mask were present 😐 will probably not go back.
Definitely should give this place a try! The drinks are amazing and delightful, fast and kind service. They make every drink with love. Most importantly, this place is always clean! If you havent done so you should definitely try this place out ASAP! May I recommend the Original Mango mix! Amazing! They also make sure all employees are wearing masks and it’s a safe sanitary environment!!

Would recommend for a local treat.Edit - Owners reached out to me to inform my drink possibly was made wrong and invited me to come back and try it again on them. Very professional and kind customer service thus far. Will update once Ive gone back and tried again.Honestly was disappointed bubble tea was very bland basically just tasted like the creamer only.

This place is a new favorite of mine. I order curbside pickup and it’s fast and convenient. My drinks are usually ready before the expected pickup time. I always get a taro milk tea/green tea base with black bubbles (tapioca) at every bubble tea place I go. I’ve had a black peach tea with mango stars. Both were amazing! Regarding the negative reviews, they say it’s watery, but I consider this style an Americanized version of the drink. The other competitor place they listed is more traditional, which is a richer and thicker drink. It really comes down to personal preference. Both are good - to each their own!
Placed an order for 8:30 and it was ready to be picked up by then!! It was amazing probably the best bubble tea I have ever had. I got a taro coconut slush with tapioca 😋😋The employees were very nice, I’ve been here a couple times and the customer service is great never had a bad experience. The best bubble tea in Dearborn, would never go anywhere else!!!
Just went for the first time today. The owner and staff were so nice and courteous! The owner gave me the background of the shop and the process in which they make tea. I ordered the original with tapioca pearls - delicious! Would highly recommend. I can tell they are extremely passionate about their product and the tea itself is of high quality (I love boba so Im aware of what most of Michigan has to offer). Will definitely be going back!
Never had boba before and after all the hype a friend brought me one from here and it was amazing! I cant wait to take the kids! I get the hype the now, and wasnt let down. So fun and fruity.
I have a pretty interesting story with this bubble tea shop. I had originally left a two star review because I didnt like their milk strawberry drink, and they ended up calling me back and offered me a free drink to see if I could give them a try again. The hospitality they demonstrated was unimaginable. They took my complaint seriously and wanted to take care of me, and I genuinely appreciated it.I ended up getting a mango pineapple smoothie with mango popping boba. It was delicious, albeit a bit too sweet. I learned later on that you can customize how much sugar you ask for, so Id recommend getting light sugar. The boba was just the right sweetness, flavor, and texture aswell.This shop is run by wonderful human beings. I wish their business the best!

I have been going to Ann Arbor for bubble tea for the longest time, thats until I discovered this place. There bubble tea is delicious, the bubbles are very chewy and always have the right consistency. Definitely recommend stopping by if you want some good bubble tea.
When I heard that there was a bubble tea place in Dearborn I had to go check it out immediately. As a person who’s gone to many bubble tea places this isn’t the best bubble tea I’ve had, but it also isn’t the worst bubble tea either. Though when I met the owners I can see that they are very passionate and willing to do what it takes to have the best bubble tea. I can’t wait to see how this place evolves and makes their bubble tea to be the best. I also can’t wait to try all the flavors they have to offer so you’ll def see me coming back :)

Ive been there 5 times, first 3 were great! Last 2 times were meh, reason why: they wont tell you when theyre out of ingredients. My usual is lavender blended with tapioca and lychee, that last 2 times they forgot the tapioca. The first time i didn’t say anything, second time i did and they said they were out, but i still got charged? 🧐 customer service could use some work but the tea itself is great
Omg the food was so good. Didnt get a picture because i didnt have time. I had the steak terry melt with fries and a blue Hawaiian lemonade slush. Very good! Also got some macarons.
This is GREAT spot to grab some Bubble Tea. The mixture is just right. Plenty of flavor. You cant go wrong. Really enjoy this spot. Inside the same area is a place to eat called The Terry Melt...oh my goodness. Taste...phenomenal. Portion...hefty. Price...decent. Go check this place out if you havent already.
Just left the establishment and had to write a review. Really nice gentlemen greeted us at the door and took our order. I got a honey dew strawberry tapioca milk tea. We ordered and they brought the tea directly to our car. It was so yummy and the staff was really nice and accommodating during this COVID time.

Terrible customer service!!!My daughter and I went here today as she wanted to try the bubble tea. Number one the parking lot is small and dirty. I felt like someone was going to jump from behind the dumpster and rob us. Or that I would find used needles in the parking lot. We enter the establishment. We ordered online, however, there is no sign indicating where to pick up your order. I stood inline where one customer was helped in front of me and one customer BEHIND me. Two employees looked me directly in my eyes and didnt offer me help. When I walked up to the counter to ask for my order they told me it was on the counter. When I retrieved my drink I immediately wanted wanted to throw it in the garbage. I was not impressed. It tasted like something I couldve made at home and saved myself the time and gas to drive there. This was our first and last time going to this sorry excuse of a restaurant. I wish I wouldve read the reviews beforehand.TO THE OWNERS: You can reply to my negative review if you like. It doesnt change my perception of your restaurant or your employees. I hope the next wave of the Pandemic forces your restaurant to go out of business permanently.
Guyyyys this place is so good!! I had been in the mood for boba- a google listing later I found myself here. My drink was really good! And the owner was really kind when we asked what bingsu was, haha!! Im back exactly a week later to get another boba fix, brown sugar boba to be exact. Def try this place, very kind people, great drinks, etc!!
Went here for the first time after my flight a couple weeks ago, and arrived about 10 mins before close, maybe 20 I forget. Didnt expect much so late, but they were crazy busy! And the owner was very kind and gracious to us. We got some bubble tea, which was great, and kept me going for my long 2 hour drive home after I dropped off my gf who lives nearby. We will be back again, and hopefully earlier so we can get some food too!
As of recently their bobas have been so bad and I don’t know why they stopped caring, it used to be so good. I just got a drink and their boba balls are so clumpy and hard in the middle. The taste is so bland now too. I’m sad but at least bubbleology is close by.
This bubble tea is very good but could have some improvements. If having to choose the best bubble tea this wouldn’t be it but would be trailing in 2nd. The staff is awesome and love the cleanliness and kindness. Overall the tea is exceptional.
We recently experienced an issue at Zs and I just have to say that Fadi, the owner, went above and beyond to correct it. As far as small business owners go he is on top of the game. He was quick to respond, made sure to personally address the issue, and went way out of his way to correct the problems. Happy to report that we will continue to be loyal customers at Zs.
Bubble tea was good but it was a long wait. I probably waited 35-40 minutes for 3 drinks. The place is crowded and it’s impossible to maintain social distancing. I usually order off DoorDash but the prices are expensive compared to the prices In the store.
Excellent bubble tea! Only place in metro Detroit that has authentic tasting Bubble tea. All others taste like very sweet syrups or condensed milk, but at Z’s you can actually taste the nuances of the tea. Tapioca pearls are perfect texture and flavor, you can tell they are prepared fresh. Well done!

Zs bubble tea is subpar at best. Not once have I ordered a drink and they would make it correctly. The last six drinks I ordered over the span of several weeks, five were made incorrectly. I would order the same drink and it would taste different every time due to them messing up something. If they didnt forget the tapioca, they forgot the mango jelly.Yesterday I received a drink where clusters of boba were stuck together so only a few would pass through my straw. Save yourself the disappointment and just go to an actual quality boba place outside of Dearborn.
This was my first time trying boba tea & it was amazing. I ordered a peach Red Bull with mango popping boba and instantly fell in love. Definitely will be back to try some other flavors.
Wife had a pickup time of 2:15, was one of the first cars there, waited until 3:00 pm to get two bubble teas and then was given an explanation that “the tea was made incorrectly which caused the machine to break down.” A simple heads up would have been nice.Update 5/27 - ordered 2 bubble teas and was brought right out to us, fantastic flavors in variety, would recommend this place to anyone.
Amazing tea and great customer service. I went in to place an order and didn’t know I had to order it in advance but they had made my order very quickly even though they had other orders! The tea was extremely delicious, I usually don’t go for bubble tea because it’s very sweet but theirs was perfect, I can’t wait to order again soon!
This place really didnt give me a good experience at all. My partner and I love bubble tea and decided to try this place seeing as it was new, and theyre way too busy to actually talk to first time customers. We usually get smoothie bubble tea which they do not have and what they do have is much too bitter. I wish they could slow down enough to answer questions for people that have them. We were very disappointed with this visit and probably wont be back.
LOVE this establishment and the staff. Even during their busiest times, they do their absolute best to satisfy every customer. I recommend the frozen strawberry matcha with tapioca bobas!!
This place has some really good bubble tea. A very wide variety of flavors, from milk to fruit based, this place has authentic flavors you wont find just anywhere. Some of these authentic options include matcha, taro, and brown sugar. I have been here twice now and both times did not disappoint. You get the option to have a regular boba tea that is just iced or a frozen blended boba tea. The tapioca pearls are splendidly soft and chewy without being too soft in the tea. They also have a range of fruit flavored gummies and popping bobas that are a delight. I would absolutely recommend this place for some bubble tea.This bubble tea shop is located inside of The Terry Melt in Michigan Ave. It does not have a sign front so be sure to keep a look out! The signs are on the windows.

Should definitely clean your restaurant more, especially the bathroom. The atmosphere of this specific zs is not good. I will stick to going to the Plymouth its more clean and more inviting
Just went the boba out, and as a super avid boba lover, I was not super impressed and reading the reviews just reinforced that feeling, seeing as the owners bash negative, constructive reviews.There was no bingsu even on the menu, despite the name having bingsu in it, and the tapioca was pretty hard and tasteless. The drink itself without the toppings tastes artificial and syrupy.For boba, I would recommend Kung Fu Tea, Ding Tea, Bambu, or Moose Pastry and Tea, all which isn’t super far from the area.
Overall pretty solid and tasty drinks! The boba may not be for me, so I recommend without the boba! (For my liking)!
The service was extremely friendly, they had such an interesting variety of flavors to choose. I really felt welcomed and treated like a regular even if it was my first time buying from there! Definitely has the best atmosphere out of all the shops in the area!
Disappointed. Ive been drinking boba since I was a little kid and I can tell you that this is the most watered down, flavorless boba Ive ever had.One of the girls was kind enough to remake my drink for me, other than that I would have given this place one star.I could literally taste and see the powder particles in my drink. If you want good boba in Metro-Detroit, I recommend Ding Tea or Kung fu Tea.
Not sure what 90% of these reviews are talking about. Slushie and bubble tea taste so fake, tastes exactly like powder and water. Usually I’ll finish my drink no matter how bad, but this was a new level...idk how you can call this bubble tea. Never tried bingsu but cant be too confident with that one.
I have had bubble tea from many places but Z’s was hands down the best I have ever had!! They have such a wide variety of flavors and jellies to choose from. The staff was super friendly and answered all my questions. My favorite is the passionfruit fruit tea with strawberry popping boba😋

I had never had Boba Tea before and was excited to try it. I ordered a brown sugar flavor boba tea and was super disappointed when I tried it. I couldnt stomach the sweetness. Im sure it wasnt poorly made or had anything wrong with it, I just didnt like it but it was no fault of theirs.I walked back to the counter and asked them if there was any way I could try something different but that I understood if they couldnt. Its not their fault I didnt like it.The cashier called the manager over and explained the situation and she gladly agreed to make me one in a different flavor and went behind the counter and made it herself. She even had me try it in front of her to make sure I was happy with and I really was. I ordered a banana milk flavor with strawberry popping boba and brought the brown sugar one to my husband who loved it.Would for sure recommend and will for sure be back.
Woow is an understatement. This place is amazing. Ive literally had almost every drink possible over the last few months and each time and visit is so consistently good. Their service is great. The drinks are always so tasty and consistent. I use the online app alot and never had any issues. A must try!

Taro bubble tea tasted watered down and the strawberry smoothie tasted artificial like it was from a powder. Honestly Id go elsewhere for bubble tea.Also the cooks were not wearing masks and the kitchen is in the front and open, and you walk right by it to order, so it was a bit uncomfortable given the pandemic.

I came here earlier this week with my family. It was over a 30 minute wait for bubble tea that takes less than 5 minutes to make? The workers were just standing there talking with theirs masks on INCORRECTLY. Your masks shouldn’t be on your chin or below your nose ? It’s not sanitary and it’s a danger to everyone’s safety. If I can wear a mask all day long with lung issues, I expect young teenagers to be able to as well.... There also shouldn’t be just one person making drinks at a time. That’s probably why it took so long. Everyone should also be wearing gloves???? They handed my daughter her macaroon with their bare hands. Please before you come here save yourself look at how all the bad reviews have so many similarities. Will never come here again.
Do not go there during covid. Worst place I have seen till now with respect to social distancing.Edited: its one thing to just put up stickers and a whole other thing to maintain a safe environment inside the store. Even if you cant control customer behavior maybe you should limit the operations. Thats how more responsible businesses are doing.
The place is pretty good! I like the tea flavors but they don’t have popping boba balls and they didn’t really tell us that so I was kind or disappointed but I might come back.Their food was pretty good!

I have never been more disappointed in my life. Everything about this place is so disappointing. They have the option to pay for extra bubble tea & when you do they never end up adding anything. Every time I go they ruin my drink. Disgusting & never again!

Just gotta say I got a strawberry tapioca milk tea and 100% would order again and would come again, little bit of a wait (7:30 PM around that time) but not too bad, overall the staff is really friendly and it’s wonderful.

Due to COVID19 we had to do takeout and it was absolutely the worst service ever. I placed my order at 11:30pm and got my order at 2am. It was supposed to be an 80 minute wait which I didn’t mind but they kept delaying it and I had to wait in my car for over an hour. They were so unprofessional over the phone and worst of all they messed up all 3 drinks in my order that I waited 3 hours for. Im really upset with what I paid for and I don’t recommend going to this place during the stay at home order.
My Valentine: my son Mohamad-Ali & I had our favorite lunch. One tuna melt sandwich & one turkey melt sandwich, so we can share. My son got the mango bubble tea. Thank you Z for your friendly hospitality and beautiful smile (mashallah) and making us feel at home.It meant a lot since my son & I have been going through the emotional work of the century and 2020 was suppose to be our year. Amazing bubble tea i got a coconut taro blended with tapioca and it was so good the workers are also very nice i 100% recommend this place 👍

I stopped by today and got the taro milk tea, best bubble i have had. Staff is very friendly and took there time to answer all my questions.
If you have not been here yet you are truly missing out. I go 3-4 times a week and wish I could go more. Whether it’s a blended mint lemonade, fruit tea, or milk tea or is a 10/10 every time. Looking forward to my next trip!

Unfortunately not great milk tea :/. They use all powder mixes and don’t have traditional options. Too much sugar and flavorings. Friendly staff though!

2022-06-07Not all boba tea is created equal. Zs has the upper hand on variety and flavor. I prefer a blended tea with no extra sugar. I tried the Thai spice this last time thinking it would be like chai. It isnt. I cant quite pin it down, but I really enjoyed the flavor. Reminded me of rose milk. The staff was very friendly and were quick to fix a mix-up. Even my kiddos who didnt care for our last boba experience were all in for Zs boba and wanted to go back the next day.

2020-02-12I went during mid-afternoon and there wasnt a wait at all. Jackpot.I got the original milk tea with tapioca bubbles and a serving of curly fries, and both were awesome. The tea was fresh, as were the bubbles, and I loved how they could customize the amount of sugar in my drink. The fries were also super fresh and so, so good. Super crisp and warm. They werent at all greasy.The guy at the register was also really great. He was nice and answered my questions about the menu. You can tell the staff had energy and liked being there.All in all, I would definitely go back again and try more of their menu, both on the bubble tea side and the sandwich side. There was a crispy chicken sandwich on grilled rye that caught my eye, so Ill update this review once I go back. In the meantime, I definitely recommend checking the place out.

2020-09-12We tried the Original Mango Mix which is mango nectar purée blended with some ice. I think a canned mango pulp may be used so that gives a more accurate and potent mango flavor than any syrup would.This drink delivered what was expected from it, but it did lack a little complexity as there isn’t a change in flavor or texture throughout.Next time, we’ll be sure to try some of the more traditional bubble tea flavors as well as the bingsu.

2019-12-30Finally got to try bubble tea for the first time and fell in love with it. It is located in a busy restaurant and service was great. I got the mango juice with mango stars. Also tried the mango mochi ice cream which were also real good.
