This is an awesome place to get skating stuff. The employees are very friendly and happy to help the customers by installing parts on skateboards that the customer purchases from the store. This store is my go to for skating.

Love this place, staff is always super nice and helpful. But it is a little on the pricey side.
The people there were really nice. I got a board made and the dude who made my bored was cool overall a good experience.

2021-07-25This is a skateboarders Paradise anybody that listen to Grunge music or any type of upbeat music will enjoy browsing the multitude of outstanding product they have at this location. The staff was knowledgeable and my grandson had his best birthday ever! Thank you so much for your great service!

2021-06-08Zumiez is pretty cool. People seem to either love it or make fun of it. I like it! They have awesome clothing. I find a really cool pair of shoes. Staff is always friendly and not pushy like other stores. Store is clean and well organized.

2020-01-27Came here for my sisters birthday present! There was one worker- I think his name was Skylar- he was really friendly, polite and funny! Definitely made for a great trip to Zumiez and if my sister asked to go back, I’d be up for it.

2019-08-30Was browsing with my brother for clothes and noticed an employee following us around the store. He tried to act like he wasn’t watching us by telling us how sick certain items were. After the third time he said something to us I turned to him and said were good and if we need anything we will let you know. He left. However, when we went to the back of the store I noticed another employee outside on a bench looking through the glass window at us.When we were checking out I told the cashier how I did not appreciate being followed. He said the employee was on “break”I understand theft is a serious problem, but due to this stores actions I will never go inside again.

2019-06-04The staff was very friendly and helpful, however they were very sales-motivated. Nobody seemed to care about skateboarding as much as they did about selling me something else. This girl kept saying “Not too late to add that to your purchase” even though I was trying to seem obviously uninterested.In addition, I was not allowed to apply the grip tape to my board. I was very upset and insisted on doing it myself. I had no choice but to regretfully watch this same girl remove and reapply a fresh sheet on my deck while also being pressured to buy more things. She creased the tape in the flick pocket and left air bubbles all over. She made me take it as is and didn’t give me the option to get it right. I was very unsatisfied.On a side note, zumiez of flint is awesome. Their staff was talking to me about skateboarding and even recommended a new local shop to check out. They let me fix the grip tape with a fresh sheet myself and they didn’t even charge me! You guys rule, flint. I will not be returning to the auburn hills store.

2018-12-20Nick the store manager is racist and rude. He accused he of stealing on my way out because I had a shirt in my hand, but I had put it down because I decided against it. As I walked out he yells, did you wanna get that Santa Cruz shirt? So did you put it back? I said yeah it’s actually over there then I pointed to the shirt.He has no tact and no class at all. I had multiple bags in my hand and ample money to spend. Was it the color of my skin that caused his alarm? I’ll never know, because I’ll never be back.In addition, I was watching him checking people out, if a card declined he yelled it out. He didn’t lowly whisper it or try to lessen the blow. I work in customer service also? But even more than that I’m a human and expect to be treated as such.Fire nick 2018. Boycott zuimez all 2019.

2019-03-05They had a lot of good deals and clothing items, as well as some accessories for phones, all for great prices. They really detail their place good, but I have 1 problem with the store. They are understaffed.
