Rented Auger, when I went to pick up unit was significantly different from what was reserved. First one had an adapter welded into place that resulted in a trip back for another unit. Second unit worked for less than a minute then started smoking from a large frayed section in the main cable driving the unit. When I called to see about a replacement I was told to keep using it. I had to reexplain that the unit had ceased working. I asked if they could possibly pick up the defective unit to help me make up for the time lost and I was told I had to return it. 5 hours and three trips with zero progress.

Sunbelt Rentals

We had an auger bit that had a blown hydraulic line on Friday evening approx. 20 minutes before closing. Sunbelt is not open on Sat/Sun. We were looking at two blown days if we couldnt get help.We called in and explained our issue. Jobsite is an hour away. They could have said, sorry bud, its Friday and we close in 15 min, catch you Monday. Nope, they told us not to worry and they sent out a new unit right away. Friday night after hours these guys came through for us - delivered the replacement piece of equipment in the dark. Saved our weekend and prevented our project from getting completely screwed up.I dont know what kind of value you put on service and attitude like this, but for me its invaluable. Highly recommend this Sunbelt branch.

BSE Rents

Have rented here several times. Im pretty sure its well know that their equipment is pretty run down but always has worked when Ive used it. Staff seems to lack customer service on previous visits but nothing to get worked up about. Leaving this one star review because I called in 20 min before closing and was told that I would be able to rent an item if I arrived 10 min before closing. I immediately started driving over there. Showed up literally one minute late, still with 9 min before closing and they refused to rent to me saying they had already shut down their systems. My simple question for their management is this, why state you are open until a certain time if you refuse to serve your customers until that time? Seems like false advertising at worst and just plain lazy at best. Suffice it to say I wont be a customer there again.

Kaweah Equipment Company
10725 W Goshen Ave, Visalia, CA 93291, United States
I dont trust this company to do repair or buy equipment from them....I was asking do warranty repair of faulty forward-back switch,They did:Replace the faulty switch under warranty but seems charge me for all inspection, label and transportation (even initially I pick them that they promise no charge for transportation). Also they didnt return me a faulty one. They never gave any quota for repair even didnt tell me what is under warranty or what is not even I told them many times to do only repair under warranty. In short: they ship me rotary-tiller with shaft drive which was too long. I didnt see any thing anything wrong. I just use the tiller. As result the driver shaft pushed to rear shaft cover and scratch it. They didnt tell me that, instead that order a new driver shaft like for $1000 cut it off 2, install it and replace the scratch cover (for $5,300!?) They told me that I destroyed the original shaft drive just showing me a picture with pop-up locking pin which is designed just to disassemble the drive shaft and the old shaft in perfect condition. Of course, I didnt cut off the original one because it will be obvious that shipped me it without adjustment, it but they need to excuse to order a new and they use a pop-up locker pin as a excuse. Also after repair the handle to switch between rare and forward stuck in position only rare but both shaft are rotating.Instead to see why the engine is overheating some time they said that everything is OK but high-temp lamp stop working (during inserting key into ignition before starting engine: all lamps are OK except this one) !?.The cracked my hood telling me that its my fault even the initial on-site inspection didnt mentioned it.

Lifesafer Ignition Interlock Visalia
2211 E Main St #1, Visalia, CA 93292, United States
I had a terrible experience with them overall. I was charged $35 for taking my car to the mechanic to replace my starter. I notified lifesafer that I was taking my car in for repair and the car locked out on me and they charged me $35 for a code to unlock it. Also when it was time to get the interlock device removed I was overcharged. Pick em up truck store has no idea when your service ends and told me to contact lifesafer and when I did they told me that they have to contact the DMV which they didnt do. I had to contact the DMV on my own and they told me my restriction was lifted. This was after I already paid for another month of service because they were going to lock my car out if I didnt.Edit.Thats incorrect. I took my car to replace the starter on Dec 17th and a few days later my car locked out on me and i had to call for a code to unlock it. When I went to my next appointment on 12/23 I was charged $35 for the code. As for the Removal you did say that I would be credited $80 for the removal fee but that just covers the march payment. I still paid $84 for april and one of your repesentitives said you have a scrict no refund policy. And for your information noone ever responded back to me. I had to keep calling back. Now not only did I pay for an extra month but I also have to take time off of work for the removal. Nowhere in you contract when I signed up did it mention that it was my resposibilty to notify the DMV for my removal. I never missed an appointment and held up my end of the contract and I feel that you as a company didnt do the same.Reply:Can you answer me this quwstion then? Why did I recieve a lockout warning in the first place? What do your records show there? Also your company did not verify anything to me on the 25t. I was told that they would have to contact the DMV and would get back to me. I never heard back so I contacted the DMV on my own to find out the removal date. I called back on the 26th to inform lifesafer and thats when the so called waiver was offered but its actually the payment I made for march and your not mentioning the payment for april that you refuse to give back.

Worst service I never had! My rental property landlord contracted with them to take care of a sprinkler issue. I called to see when they would come. He said tomorrow (next day). I asked when and he said (curtly) that he was busy and didnt know. I pressed him and he asked me why and I said I wanted to be there. He said, do you need to be there? and I said I wanted to. (It is difficult to fix a sprinkler problem w/out turning the sprinklers on and I would need to be there since they are in my garage.) Finally he relented and said he would give me notice so that I can be there.I called the next day (day of appt) at 4pm and he said (again curt and rude) that he was too busy and could not do it. I asked him if he was going to call and let me know at which point he (not directly answering my question) that he would call the rental agency and let them know he was too busy to take care of the issue. Conclusion: it must be nice to be so busy that you dont need to have the courtesy to communicate to those who you make promises to.Good luck and glad that at least some of your customers are satisfied with your service.

JP Electric & Solar
1240 E Caldwell Ave Suite A, Visalia, CA 93292, United States
On February 16th of 2023, we signed our solar contract with JP Electric and solar. Our salesman was Patrick Doyle. At this time, Patrick, and the company were promising NEM2 before everything changed in April 2023 to NEM3, as long as they had signed contracts, along with the $1000 deposit paid with the contract. My mom also got Solar with the same company, and salesman at the same time we got ours. We were told installation would be around April/May. My moms began moving forward, but ours did not. We also never received our rebate from the promotional offer they had at the time of signing our contract, and my mom had so I began feeling at this point something was not right. I began asking Patrick for the status of our install in which I did not get any responses. By June, we still had no clue what was going on, and no update. I don't recall HOW we found out, but eventually we found out that our paperwork was not submitted. (We've been told something from Patrick- blaming it on the ladies whom work in the office and something from workers, saying it was Patrick who did not submit the paperwork… to this day, I do not know the full truth, nor do I care.. I just want the job done) Due to our paperwork not being submitted before April (or at all), we were now going to have to pay an additional $15k for a battery that would not have been required prior to April. Patrick presented this to us, and told us he was willing to pitch in $5k of his own money for the mistake … leaving it around $10k ADDITIONAL for us than what was already on the legally binding contract. In all fairness and transparency, I will mention that I think the company was going to take an additional percentage off on top of what Patrick was proposing, so it would have actually been less than the $10k… but not by much. We made it extremely clear that we would not pay for someone else's mistake and that we would gladly go elsewhere if any additional expenses would be required than the original cost we were promised and signed a contract for. The company DID make it right by completely covering the additional cost of the battery. So again, we signed a new contract with Patrick to now include the battery and again… things were not moving forward. Somebody eventually informed us that Patrick not only didn't turn our first contract in screwing us out of NEM2, but he waited to turn in our new contract too until the day he was let go… again.. not sure what's true. This is just what we've been told from employees. We have and continue to be kept in the dark. Nothing gets done unless I call and ask for the status on when something will be done by, installation for example. I only got an install date after reaching out myself. Our solar was finally installed December 26th-28th. We have since failed city inspection 3-4 times. It's been a month and a half since our last inspection and I've heard nothing, so I reached out twice, and finally heard that we failed again and they scheduled us for next Monday. What if I hadn't reached out? We most likely wouldn't be on the schedule. My solar should have been installed a year ago. It should be up and running by now making a difference in our electric costs, but here we are.. still waiting. I'm done being patient and I'm done being quiet because we are getting no where.16 months. 16 months I have been dealing with this company and this solar nightmare. The reviews for this company are pretty great. Patrick seemed like a great guy, who knew what he was doing and who did his job well. He seemed like an honest, trustworthy person. However, this entire experience has been one of the worst, and I'm just ready for it to be over. At this point, it will still be a few months until our solar is up and running… and even longer until we start to feel the benefits of having solar when we should already be seeing the benefit. It is incredibly disappointing to be let down to the extent that we have by a local, reputable company.
