I reserved a car online through Costco and did not have any issues with the price. When I picked up the car the outside was clean but the inside could have used a LOT more attention. The car smelled stale inside so I opened the windows as a drove away. When I turned on the AC, the air smelled as if the air filter had not been changed in a long while. I later noticed that there was pet hair on the cloth seats and the floor, as well as crumbs and liquid stains on the center console. Also there were several receipts from previous renters & fastfood napkins, etc. still in various places in the car. One even dropped on my head as I pulled down the sun visor. Obviously this was an annoyance but not enough to make me return the car at that moment, since I was under a time deadline. I just placed an air freshner in the car, put something on the seat before I sat down to keep the pet hair off me & wiped down everything with anti-bac wipes just in case. They should definitely do a better job cleaning. (The pet hair didnt show up clearly on the photos & I didnt want to post a video.)I had to rent again & returned to this location for pickup after reserving it online as before. I reserved the car for a week but turned it in early. The guy at the counter (Sohaib) told me that I would get a discount for the early return, but when he totaled the invoice, it was the same price as the full week. I asked about the discount and he said that he applied it but it came out at the same price. He charged me more than my reserved amount and applied a discount to their regular rental rate (which was much more). When I asked why he charged me more, his explanation was that since I didnt pre-pay my reserve rate, I couldnt get that price. I explained that wasnt the case on my last rental - or on any other rental Ive ever had. He said that was my final discounted price.Unfortunately he was the only person at the location and no one else I could speak with, so he said I would have to talk to the reservation company. I plan to do just that. I saw another review where someone mentioned pricing change. So if you book in advance, pay attention to what you are being charged and confirm your rate again. Apparently your booking registration is not enough proof.Ill use another location in the future to avoid these issues again. Also Fastbreak rentals/services are not available at this location. One of the persons working their during my pickup had no idea what I was talking about, even after explaining it. Hopefully they will make the necessary improvements and offer more training to the reps.

Budget Car Rental

Were long time Budget customers and had pre-paid for a small crossover SUV.Franchise owner helped us. He is rude and doesnt care about his customers.When walking in he was already arguing with his employee. When he later showed us to our car, it was not what we had expected or hoped for. We needed a certain amount of space and had based the reservation on that. Also all seats were filthy.He called it an upgrade because it uses less gas and iss proud to tell you that you dont have to pay extra for it. Seriously?????If you complain that this (only available) car is less suitable for your needs than the one you reserved and pre-paid, hes quick to get annoyed and threatens to void the contract, basically leaving you hanging. Doesn't care it puts you in a bind.Basically he wants you to just take what he serves up and swallow it or be screwed. And he gets angry when you show that youre not happy with this treatment.We decided to accept the car anyway because it would be difficult to find an alternative last minute.He walked around the car with us to inspect for damage and despite him acknowledging several big scratches and damages, we later found he only marked one on the damage report. Luckily he did make note of the stained seats, because we were later charged for a cleaning (budget claimed they gave us a clean car, ha!), but we were able to get it quickly refunded based on this.We were very happy they opened a Budget right here in Corona, very convenient, but we wont be going back there. Id rather drive the extra distance to Riverside. And I hope the Corona location will have to switch owners soon.

Rented a cargo van last month for a round-trip overnighter from CA to AZ. Andrew was very helpful. His estimate was within a few dollars of the final total bill. He came in early so I could get an early start. While checking the vehicle we found a turn signal problem. He immediately swapped that van for another one. He was courteous and helpful, and NEVER tried to upsell me or get me to buy anything I didnt need. He also advised me of a discount I was eligible for. A very pleasant experience. Ill rent from here again.March 2023 update: Ive rented from here four times in the past five months, all out of state round trips. Each time it was a pleasant experience. Everyone Ive dealt with (Andrew, Peter Juan, Dominic) was polite, courteous, helpful, and genuinely interested in making sure everything went smoothly for me.
