Our company rented from Quinn because we THOUGHT it was the best price in town, until they picked up the lift. We rented a scissor lift for one week and after that one week we called it off. They picked it up 10 days later. Apparently, Quinn Rentals has meters on their equipment and charge you extra if you go over your allotted hours. Really, hours? Never heard of such a thing. AND this was NEVER disclosed when rented.How can someone determine the hours you are allowed to use a rented piece of equipment? Who it to say that you are at an end of a job and your schedule is tight and you have to run two crews (who will be using the lift) 24 hrs a day? How can you completely keep track of subs on your job site that can potentially use the equipment? I mean I can not be there 24 hours a day. What about having to move it out of the way?It is not my fault that it wasnt picked up for 10 days. They could have came and got it the day it was called off or the day after. 10 days go by, and yes, I am sure it was used. A lift on a job site is going to be used. Best part is, no refund. Sign the agreement with the hours on it even though I had no idea. I see the weekly price and sign. Where are those hours you ask, under all the lift info. Not even close to the weekly price. If I would have been informed, that lift would have been locked up until they picked it up or I would have called them every day to come get it.WE WILL NEVER RENT FROM QUINN RENTALS IN BAKERSFIELD AGAIN! Which is sad because we rent a lot of lifts. Oh well. Their loss. And apparently mine in the sum of an extra $134 on top of my $451!

I'd really appreciate if you workers drove safer, I was on the freeway and one of your trucks nearly killed me on the freeway, merging on to my lane (fast lane) causing me no other options but the shoulder. The two gentlemen just looked at me on the freeway laughing at me, while my heart was racing, and in panic. This was driving south bound near Kimberlina 11:40am Jan 28, 2020. Those works should be written up.

The company I work for has been using american saftey services drug testing lab for quite a few years now and have been very pleased. They are really fast and get your employees in and out. This is important when it comes to employees that are paid by the hour and testing on company time. Very courteous, knowledgeable, sanitary and professional. Robert helped me today He made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions but most importantly, he made me feel valued as a customer. I would definitely recommend this business and will continue using them.

NOT Recommended. Early May I rented a 1/2 power snake. Apparently they dont replace the snake cables as they should as it broke off in my line without even hitting an obstacle. I took it back, explained what happened and asked how they were going to resolve their problem. Employees were good but had no remedy so I asked to speak to the manager. They didnt want to talk to me and simply said they would not charge for the rental - basically did nothing and didnt care enough to talk to me. One of the employees called a plumber that he works with and explain they had a problem that need to be resolved. He came out to the house and spent a good deal of time attempting to retrieve the broken cable. He said it might have slid down into the sump pit. I paid his bill and on May 9th sent a copy to the manager of CGI asking for reimbursement and explained it all. The manager has ignored my letter. My experience is poor customer service, lack of equipment maintenance and total lack of caring for the customer or common business ethics. I would avoid CGI Equipment Rental, use their competitors for your rental needs to avoid similar problems.

At the BSE rents at 1919 columbus st They dont give you what you pay for, Today 4/01/23 needed ready mix concrete, the contract was for 3 yards for a project that was going to use 2.68 yards, I ended up doing 4 trips: 3 of 1 yard each and a last one of 1/2 yard and still had to mix some by hand to complete my slab, the guy at front was very rude, he wanted me to pay for more concrete so I will be able to finish my project, other companies, when you buy concrete, dont charge you for the dolly to transport the concrete to your place, they only charge you the concrete, this place even charge me extra for gas, after I filled the tank myself, they claimed it wasnt full, in all this transaction they took from me total of $732.98 for 3 yards of concrete, just go anywhere else for your concrete needs, never going back to this place

10/4/2017I had both my Fianace and Father-in-law go in to rent a motorized snake, since I'm working from early in the morning to late in the afternoon. After a long day I come home to very upsetting news about how poorly my father-in-law was treated not just once but twice. First time around they both walk in and request a fifty footer every employee blankly looked at them for over 20 minutes not once asking if they could offer some help. Finally an employee offers (help) by asking in a sarcastic way what do you want? Father-in-law responds with what he needs and associate answers with a (I dont know what your talking about... walks away. After about another 10 minutes associate returns with the equipment my father-in-law requested (I thought he didn't know what he was talking about??) Rudely he snatches his debit card to complete transaction.Same day second time around... father-in-law gets home with my finance and come to find out the machine is faulty and he got the wrong size. He needed the one-hundred feet snake. (The mistake was his not the rental company)Again him and my fiancé dreadfully return and explain that the machine was faulty including that he made a mistake in asking for the wrong size the first time, the associate response with an insulting tone stating there is nothing wrong with the equipment and that it's his fault. After about 45 minutes of two associates working on the machine they come to a conclusion that the machine is faulty they finally give him the 100' snake and he pays the difference.Many will ask why didn't he go somewhere else or did he even know what he was doing? Let's just all be adults and know that life happens and there are reasons for things that would make this review even longer.

Waste of time. After paying to rent a scissor lift and trailer we were left waiting for 45 mins without any help. Then the kid with glasses working the lot said he only makes $10 a hour so hes not going to rush around. Very unprofessional, we went inside to cancel the equipment and got no explanation or even a sorry its taking a long time we were just credited back our money and that was it. The least you could do is apologize for the inconvenience or offer something for the wait. Not worth waiting forever when the equipment is rented on a time limit. Will not be back.

Derek helped me out and had a wheel loader sent out and delivered with a day notice . Price was fair on rental rate and delivery fee as well. The delivery driver was professional and on time. The service was exactly how it's supposed to be. Professional and fair. Will use there services in future .
