Tool & Truck Rental Center at The Home Depot

Great experience!I had to demolish a portion of my driveway (association issues) and I didn't want to pay big bucks for a contractor or take my chances with a random Craig's List worker with no accountability (I didn't want to risk a sloppy job or cause unnecessary damages). So, after watching a few YouTube videos, I decided to rent tools and do it myself.I first went to Lowes because it was closest, however, unfortunately, Lowes doesn't rent tools.I then went to The Home Depot where I met Raul, I explained to him the project I had and he explained what tools I was going to need and went over how to use them. Raul gave me some great tips that proved useful. What seemed like an intimidating job at first, turned out a lot easier than I had anticipated thanks to Raul and I was able to finish my project in 1 day!Turning the tools in was just as easy as renting them with Home Depot's Rental dept's hours (6am to 9pm).

The DJay Company Inc.
7147 Amethyst Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91701, United States
This is a fair review from using this company at our wedding. There were a few things done to our satisfaction, but overall the DJ was the worst part of our wedding and I would not recommend using this company. In short - The microphone sound was spotty and not acceptable during the ceremony. The DJ did not want to discuss the order of the reception beforehand which caused problems later, he was missing completely or needed to be reminded to initiate important transitions, did not bring the equipment we agreed upon, and played songs we had on the do not play list. For more specifics read on:Ceremony: Did not have the microphone set up on time for the ceremony to begin so our wedding coordinator and officiant left the wedding party to talk about it and figure it out at the last minute. Once the ceremony began the officiant was speaking and you couldn't hear him because sound kept going in and out. There was no way for the audience to hear the bride and groom so we were awkwardly trying to talk into the officiant's headset. To be fair - the songs we selected were played and overall I don't think people noticed the mishaps as much as we did.Reception meal service - once the meal was underway we wanted to go around and talk with each table after finishing eating - but we wanted to check with the DJ before doing this to make sure we knew the timeline. We looked for him for about 15 minutes and he was not to be found so we started going around to tables. When we finally found him and asked what was next he did not know and we had to tell him - this is why it would have been helpful to go over things before the rehearsal began. When I tried he was condescending and said things like “Oh just enjoy your night”.. etc.Toasts - he did not have the names of those giving toasts so we had to keep telling him each one before they could be announced.First dance, B/FOB and G/MOG dance - This was ok but it went way too long. We were hoping to dance for maybe 30 seconds but it was the whole 3-4 minute song.Song to bride - As the groom I was going to play a song on guitar I wrote for the bride. Beforehand the DJ told me there would be a mic stand but he did not bring it. He also told me I could not plug in my guitar, so I went through the trouble of brining my own amp. Once the song started the sound wasnt on the guitar so I played on anyway. Eventually he got the sound on really loud so I stopped the song to fix it on my guitar. It did not go as planned and is the worst memory of the night for me.Happy birthday to MOG (surprise) - we wanted to have a cake for the MOG because it was her birthday but we had to keep reminding and brining it up to make sure it happened.Open dancing / cake cutting - overall this was fine. He did a good job telling people we were cutting the cake. The only problem with open dancing was that there were songs played that we had on the “do not play” list.

Avana Rancho Cucamonga Apartments
10400 Arrow Route, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, United States
When it is all said and done I was very hesitant to move into the Waterbrook apartment in Rancho Cucamonga. The leasing agent Obdulia was very unprofessional when I finally met with her. We had scheduled to do paperwork and come to a leasing agreement at the opening of the office at 9am. She was 45 minutes late and was not concerned or apologetic about her tardiness. She convinced us to do a 7 month lease instead of a 12 month lease that we originally wanted. We were told that the rate would not increase after 7 months and is was better for us because it gave us flexibility. This was not true, the rent did in fact increase after the 7 months by about $200 ($1150 increased to $1348). We were not told of any mandatory fees that would be charge at the time of move out. These included a $50 pet scan and a minimum of $110 for cleaning. Dealing with the staff on regular matters we were treated more like an inconvenience than a tenant in need. After moving out our calls were ignored and the senior staff was very reluctant to talk to us.The apartment was a good size for the price we were paying and the location was great for us. Unfortunately our apartment reeked of cigarette smoke from the previous tenant. After several complaints and being told the smell would go away we grew accustomed to the smell but it never went away. Every guest we had would immediately complain of the smell. The bathroom was poorly painted and had an ugly pipe that leaked black sludge. Our outside storage had a creature living in it that left dead snails in the storage and on our porch. We complained, had the place sprayed, but the creature was still living there. The carpet in the bedroom didn't fit properly and made it impossible to close the closet until I fixed it myself. My complaint about the maintenance was just the fact that it would take as many as three missed appointments until they would come to fix issues. The staff themselves were polite and fixed all issues in a timely manner. The apartment had plenty of parking compared to other complexes. The issue is there is not enough guest parking, no guest parking passes, and unmarked cars were towed on a regular basis. It was very inconvenient to have guests based on the fact their car might be towed. My final and biggest complaint is the unethical and excessive bill that included $980 in charges after we moved out. We left the apartment cleaner that when we moved in. Upon moving in the floors and cabinets were dusty and the place smelled of cigarette smoke. After moving out the place was dust free and after excessive cleaning of the vents walls and carpet the cigarette smell we almost nonexistent. Minimum cleaning charge was $110. We lived there for 7 months, paid for 6 months of utilities, but they wanted to charge us for 2 additional months. $130 due for utilities. Painting fee of $25, not excessive and we did hang some nails in the wall. Pet scan of $50. We went not informed of this charge when we moved in or while we were moving out. $50 for keys, I lost one and it is my fault but $50 is too high for 1 key. And last but not least $615 for new carpet. They are claiming the undamaged carpet needed to be replace due to pet urine. They gave us a pH of 8 but after research I was able to find pet urine should be around 6pH. 8pH is more in line with cigarette smoke damage not pet damage. They claim the carpet cost $700 and we owed them a prorated cost. Now doing some research it is easy to find carpet between $0.35 and $2 per square foot. We only had about 100 feet square of carpeting. So anything over $200 is excessive.
