Thank you so much for repairing my 4 antique and vintage sewing machines. Mr Gomez did everything in a timely matter kept to his word he is a very knowledgeable man with years of experience and a very trust worthy individual. He repaired my singer 47w70, singer 112w140, my featherweight singer and my singer 95-1. These are all industrial machines and he knew how to fix every single one. I highly recommend his services. He is excellent in communicating with his customers and excellent at driving to your household if need be to check on your machine. Not only did he repair my machines my mother bought one of his industrial machines he fully restored, she bought it at a really good price. I am so happy with my machines. On the singer 47w70 darning machine he restored its original color, restored original parts and also made a custom table cut to order on top of that he also changed the clutch motor to a servo motor which is way easier to use. Overall this business is an A++++++++ . He is a highly skilled sewing machine mechanic. Number 1 in the IE.

... date on all sales and events happening with Bernina. Jennifer quited me the regular price and I had to look up the sale on my cell phone to prove that there was infact a 30% off sale.Second, she than stated that my machine wasnt worth anything, in other words nothing, zero. So, I let all of that go I needed a machine so I bought the Bernina B480 and left my machine for repair.Upon hearing back from them I was quoted $500 to fix my machine which is 26 yrs. old which is one third of the price in which I paid for the machine. NOT!!! They stated that the foot paddle was bad and it needed work on the motor, the foot paddle was to be $300 so I told them to fix it without the foot paddle being fixed. Then I get another call from Jennifer stating that the Bobbon holder was broken, I broke it over 10yrs ago. Jennifer states that they cant guarantee the on the motor unless I got the Bobbon holder replaced for $25, I basically told them to Kiss my a** and to give me back my machine. Then Scott calls me back and ask how can I fix this for you, He stated that he would put the Bobbon holder in for free. And, I never told him what he could do to make it up to me, as I felt that Jennifer was very prejudice, and I think that she felt I was black and did not know anything about Bernina and she felt that I was Stupid. So, I go to pick up my machine today and to by Scott that he couldnt give am a discount on the work on my machine as he had done that by adding in the Bobbin holder, my thought is why did you ask my how you could make it up if you had no intentsions on doing anything in the first place. So, I get my old machine home and find that now the lights do not come on which were wroking just fine upon my bring the machine into them. I replaced the light bulbs in the machine a uy a machine from these people. They are greedy crooks. Also, I ask for the Presser Foot 46c on the site it sales for $35 I was to get 25% off the presser foot as a good jester from Scott and come to find out ...
Rays Sewing Machine Center

We bought an embroidery machine from Rays several years ago. My wife has made lots of creative things since. We have had a few issues with the machine due to so much use. Rays repairs have been great and reasonably priced. Their classes, when allowed due to COVID-19, are great! They have great new machines that we may pick up one some day.I highly recommend Rays to anyone looking for an embroidery machine or supplies and service for the same.
Kanen Coffee Espresso Machines

Unfulfilled Promises and Wasted Time: A Disappointing Encounter with Kanens Repair ServicesI recently had an experience with Kanens repair services that, unfortunately, left me quite dissatisfied. I entrusted them with my Breville espresso machine, which they promised to diagnose within two to three weeks.Regrettably, the process extended to over a month, during which I had to repeatedly prompt them for updates. After this lengthy period, I was informed that my machine could not be repaired because he could not get access to Breville parts and he offered to recycle it. This was despite initial assurances that they typically could fix Breville machines. Consequently, I was left with a significant pre-repair fee ($150) and no tangible results. Kanens only suggestion was to send the machine to Breville, but they stated that Breville was hard to get in touch with.Feeling disheartened but still hopeful, I decided to send my machine to the manufacturer. To my surprise, Breville responded very quickly, politely, and sympathetically. They indicated a repair was actually not possible at all and instead they resolved the situation by giving me a brand new machine. This outcome left me questioning the month-long process and the incurred $150 fee at Kanens shop, which resulted in no progress with my machine. I was under the impression that the staff at Kanen were experts in their field, could handle Breville machines, and I had faith in their initial optimism about the repair. Unfortunately, this faith was misplaced, and I ended up with a prolonged waiting period and an unnecessary expense.I write this review not with the intention to harm but to express my disappointment and hopefully to assist others in making an informed decision. I believe communication and accurate diagnosis of the issue should be the cornerstone of any service industry, and it appears there is room for improvement in these areas at Kanens.

Dereks sewing machine repair

Always does an excellent job! I had a sewing machine that I bought from a local San Diego County store. I had a service contract with them. I had a problem with the machine and I kept bringing it back to them. They were not charging me because of the contract, but they were also not fixing the problem. The contract ended and I brought it here. He fixed the problem. I highly recommend him. Sewing machine repair places that sell sewing machines try to convince you to buy another machine instead of getting the one you have serviced. Just bring it here.

Customer service was terrible. I called twice to get their store hours. The first time I called, I spoke to a woman about getting my machine fixed. She seemed very rushed and like she couldnt be bothered to answer my questions. When I FINALLY got her to answer me, she told me that they could most likely fix it, but I had to bring it in. I asked her if they were open weekends, and she said Yes, 9-6. And I told her I would be there Saturday. When I called back the next day (after realizing how busy my Saturday would be) I asked the same woman about their Sunday hours. In the same couldnt-be-bothered tone, she answered that they were closed Sunday. So, I verified with her the hours I was told they were open Saturday (9-6). When I went to go in Saturday after lunch (at approximately 2:15 PM), there was a sign on the front that stated their store closed at 2 PM, not the 6 PM I was told on the phone. I tried to call to see if anyone was still in there, but no one picked up. I ended up taking my machine to Fajardos on Bernard, and he told me to come in and drop off my machine despite that he was supposed to be closing soon. He was very kind and answered all of my questions, and even let me linger for a few minutes to admire an antique Singer sewing machine. Just me few minutes there was a far better experience than my disappointment with this establishment.
Viking Sewing Machine Center
1232 Lincoln Ave, San Jose, CA 95125, United States
I bought a Viking Jade sewing machine from Viking Sewing Machine Center. I recently took a class offered by the store owner (Gordon Falk) and was extremely happy with his professionalism, patience with the students, and amazing knowledge of sewing machines, sewing techniques, history of sewing machines and more. When I bought my machine he asked me about the type of sewing I would be doing. I never felt that he was trying to oversell or push me to buy a machine that was beyond my needs or abilities. I strongly recommend Viking Sewing Center. You will not be disappointed in your purchase or the excellent customer service.
Ming Li Sewing Machine Service

We are beginner sewing enthusiasts. We have a hand-me-down Singer Simple 3223 sewing machine with a timing issue on the thread take up lever. After taking our machine to another highly recommended vendor who tried to avoid analysis and repair, who then attempted to upsell us on a much pricier sewing machine—we decided to give Ming Li Sewing Machine Service a call. The co-owner and founder, Anita took in our non-functioning machine and did an on the spot diagnosis. She provided a clear and fairly priced consultation fee for our particular machine and issue, then let us know that she would call us if the price was too high for subsequent repair and labor vs. buying a new machine. She took the time to simply ask my partner what types of projects she was using the machine for and her overall experience level.Anita tapped into her more than 40 years’ experience to give us a repair plan and timeframe. Her shop technician repaired our machine in 2 business days. We came to pick it up. Anita performed a few sewing tests to show us the fix. Our Singer Simple just hums along now.Clear. Direct. Efficient. Responsive. Fair. Everything a long-standing business should be.Thank you Anita and Ming!
AtlasLevy Sewing Machine Company

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE CROOKS! They will act nice and very communicative before you make the purchase and then will give you the run-a-round when you are having a problem. The machine I purchased from them DOES NOT WORK! I called and emailed from the beginning to get help on it. Machine looks horrible. Runs horrible. The stitch width knob does not work. I tried to see if I could sew on it with the knob not adjusting the machine barely runs. It is horrible! I called a sewing machine tech that services my other machines and the tech even said that this is a horrible machine and is rigged up. When I called, they would tell me to call back, I call back and they are busy. They will tell me to facetime them and that doesnt happen. When we finally got someone on the phone to facetime, we didnt speak the same language and the tech eventually sat the phone down facing up looking at the ceiling and walked away from the phone. I called AGAIN, and then they were sick. Emailed, and they emailed me back acting like they were going to help and then stopped responding. I went to my bank to get help and the bank said it was delivered and I signed for it... WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH IT IF I CANT USE THE MACHINE?? I threw $2,000 down the drain dealing with this HORRIBLE company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, GO WITH THE LEGIT SEWING MACHINE COMPANIES! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND THE HEADACHE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AND CROOKS. BEWARE!!
