We rented a truck telling them we needed it for towing purpose. When we arrived to our destination to tow our trailer we noticed that there was a 2 ball locked onto the trailer hitch we had to use a 2 5/16 ball so we were S.O.L. they never disclosed to us that the ball was locked onto the truck or that it would be unable to tow with a 2 5/16 ball. We were told when we called in that they would need to speak to the regional manager and he would be calling us back. We never received a call back from the regional manager so we returned the vehicle. While we were returning they told.us it would be put on hold until they can reach the regional manager and that he would call us. When the owner heard us discussing this he came out to try and put the blame on us saying if we wouldve done the walk around we should have seen the ball and known wed be incapable of doing what we needed. I told him if his company would has disclosed that at the time of purchase knowing we needed it for towing we wouldnt be in this mess and I wouldnt be out $200 and a days time getting nothing done. He then said if it was up to him hed just charge us and be done with it. Overall pretty terrible customer service on there part. Id suggest skipping using the neighborhood dealers and go somewhere that is strictly U-Haul not a U-Haul attached to another business. These people dont care and are out for your money.

Great service, friendly and will assist your transportation needs. If you are moving the have a good selection of trucks and trailers for rent. Recommend you make a list of things you need to pack, so your move will go as planned. They have boxes and packing materials for you to choose from. Good luck on your trip.

We have rented for ten years through Provest for a private owner...we feel mostly positive, however the increased amount of computer generated blah blah is starting to become not related to us, and annoying. We have, for ten years gone beyond in keeping up not just the house and surrounding ten feet, but the neighbor and his brother who owned the several acres next door, and the unknown owner acres surrounding our home because one it was fire unsafe, and it was also not fun to come home to live in the middle of almost ten acres of not kept up property. Two of the lots are now sold, and they are taking care of cleaning and cleaning . The onslaught of the number of homes up the street that have put in green screen and made the desert look horrible is something real estate companies have the power to discuss with the county and eliminate. AND the little four wheel vehicles, we do not mind the neighbor kids, but many appear to be renting them from a company that does not seem to give them any idea but to go out and ruin the desert, hit peoples pets and vehicles and again, while the police and CHP have added motor cycle teams to address the issue, real estate companies have the lawyers and power to get the county to address the unsafe use of our streets and illegal trespassing by the people. For ten years big four wheel and off road clubs have had events, helped clean and clear the desert. This new influx is not just upsetting, the riders themselves are being injured or killed which is NOT conducive to a calm life out here. I hope the real estate companies will join together and address these issues....along with the reality that the people who live here came because it is supposed to be a valley wide State conservation area....we have had Fish and Wildlife speakers at several town hall meetings in Victorville, Hesperia and the Phelan Oak Hills area.....the danger of forest fire is also of great concern with these illegal off road vehicles. We have had only one large forest fire since we moved here, but it was fast moving, and we were told, by CHP up the street that if the wind changed up to ten miles could be burned in a few minutes, so evacuate and make sure our animals were out, we helped the neighbors move their stock and pets as we had volunteered in city safety and crisis groups. It is hard enough with real forest fires, but when it is irresponsible sports people risking us all losing our homes, something needs to be done. Again, the real estate groups and their lawyers have the power to bring these issues up with the county and make it safer up here. Thank you for the fast repair to the water system......it was great! We love the plumber and his son!
