Sunbelt Rentals
2615 Main St, Chula Vista, CA 91911, United States
So glad we found BJ Rentals to not only rent grinding equipment from but also to be there for our myriad questions throughout the process. Our sales rep, Larry, took an hour to not just show us how to set up the equipment, he walked us through the steps and let us grind a bit of crete to get a feel for it. We had a rough start with thick glue so he overnighted the best pads. He was there for us every step of the way and was gracious when we ran into a glitch returning the equipment. (Bad accident coming back from Mammoth closed the road for four hours, then we hit rain and had to stop to cover the equipment then drive slowly with a flapping tarp!) In the end the floor turned out great for a forty-year-old slab. And we got a lot of satisfaction by doing the work ourselves... with a lot of help from BJ Rentals! I can highly recommend this business!

Tool & Truck Rental Center at The Home Depot
1320 Eastlake Pkwy, Chula Vista, CA 91915, United States
Thank you to all of Eastlake Home Depot! I prefer this Home Depot over the two that are more conveniently located for me. The customer service here is really great. Even though this Home Depot is much farther away from me, I will go here when I know I will need customer service and/or other information on my purchases. The employees here are amazing at their jobs. They ask me if they can help me before I have to go hunt down help. When I want help they are ready, willing and capable of helping me. They know what they sell, and how to use it. They can also tell me what they have in stock and where it is. They never ditch me without help or say theyll find someone else and not come back. These people will either help or wait until the professional help actually shows up. Which I appreciate so much.Plus the Tool and Truck Rental employees actually know what the tools they are renting out are capable of and arent trying to over sell or under sell their tools. I can call them and they actually care about what I need and how they can help me. They havent ever put me on hold for long periods of time.At both the other stores I had the problem that their employees talked me into either renting a tool not strong enough or was way over kill for what I was actually doing. Usually not the tool I researched and asked for. At Eastlake Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental actually listened to my needs and lead me to the correct tool for the job.I appreciate you guys, keep up the good work. Ill be back again when I need help with my projects because I know youre the better help.

Trailer Rental at U-Haul
99 N 4th Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91910, United States
Fill up your trucks and clean them. My truck was only a 1/4 tank. I was charged for not refilling when the needle didn't move. Also the sun visor on the truck was ripped off and missing. Very sub par customer service, there was no walk around and no one to go over the return with me. I was advised to just leave it and I'll get an email. As a result I was charged way more than my estimate. I worked for U-Haul for 3 years, and in that time I never was as lack luster as this location.

OMG...This Company & Crew is Absolutelythe WROST!!! I repeat DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY WITH THIS CREW! DID I MENTION THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE WROST! Their manager Martin never reached back out about the unfinished job but when they wanted to get paid he was all on top of things. So long story short we had water damage In August 2023 in my son bathroom that flooded our whole top floor. During the pack out in August they packed my security camera ( who does that) and now they cant find it, broke my son items, said they would replace it were in December it never happened. They unplugged my washer and gas dryer and never reinstall it! October 2023 they bring our household goods back into our home causing me to pay out of my own pocket to reinstall the washer and dryer they did do that the insurance company paid them for and they refused to do It. They also just place my tv back on the wall and lost the cords to my TV so now Im not able to watch it...smh Now that were home for the holidays were going through the boxes just to find out that they put back the old wet molded items from the bathroom and pack them in a box in my son room...smh I reached out to the company several times to resolve the issues and it took them days to even get back to me. Not answering my texts, phone calls and slow to reply with emails After USAA paid them for a very sloppy job that they didnt fully complete! This was a very stressful time for my family and I and allowing 10 plus people in my home to pack and unpack our things just to be misplaced, lose and break things or not even make it back to my home was horrible. Please reconsider using this company find someone who cares about your personal items and your home!!!** Should Be Able To Receive NO STARS!!**Latasha Fennell

Del Amo Motorsports of South Bay
1890 Auto Park Pl, Chula Vista, CA 91911, United States
Price gouging and false advertising:· You want to think that most people are honest and straight forward especially when it comes to larger business. That is not the case with Del Amo motor sports! Being a business owner myself I understand the need to have a profitable business. During times when the economy is down you have sales to try and bring in more business, when things are good you don't have sales and people pay full retail. But, when you advertise a certain discount or special as a business owner you honor that pricing. Well, that wasn't the case with Del Amo. Below is a outline of my resent experience with Del Amo. I will do my best to stick with the facts and be unbiases.· I have been scrolling through advertisements/doing research for a few months now and finally decided to pull the trigger on a Polaris xp4 S for me and my family. I found one on the Del Amo motor sports website for the typical MSRP price but, if I am a member of one of there 1600 affiliates I would receive a $2000 discount. I called Del Amo, made an apt and meet with a young man to get the process started. He was already aware of the buggy I wanted, they had it in stock and we started to talk about numbers. I told him about the special I saw online, he took it back to his manager and came back with “Don't shot the messenger” response because his manager was unwilling to honor the advertise pricing. I asked to speak with the manager and after about 15 minutes he came back and said “Sorry, they are not discounting these right now”. I said “he wont even come talk to me”? after a few minutes the manager came and sat down. He asked what I needed, I explained the issue and he said “I'm sorry, we are selling so many of these we decided to stop honoring all advertised discounts”. I said “really! that seems like bad business to me”. He asked where I saw the advertisement, I showed him and he said “That's not our web site” to which I showed the Name and banner Del Amo Motor sports on their website. He said “its not their web site its an advertising agency they hire to advertise for them”. I said one last time to confirm “so you are not going to honor the advertised price” He said “absolutely not! We are selling so many and cant keep them in stock so we are jacking up the pricing on all our units”. Not to mention the $4K Added Dealer Markup (ADM) which is 2-3 times any other dealing I contacted. Seems like greed to me!· I know this is not an essential item but it saddens me to think that a company like this would intentionally gouge their customers to make a few extra dollars. You, me and other people are their customers and Customers are the life's blood of any business. I understand this with my business and instead of gouging my customers I just get booked out a little further. The only way to teach the greedy a lesson is the hit them where it counts most… Their wallet…· I intend to contact the BBB, channel 9 and 10 news, the attorney general and post this review online to do everything I can so people know exactly who they are doing business with in hopes they avoid criminals like this and give their business elsewhere. Unfortunately for Del Amo this will cost them far more than the $2000 discount they chose not to honor. Seems very short sighted to me…
