I worked with Jim at SCV party rentals. Last year our order was delivered all wrong and they came back on the day of my sons graduation which made me late for his graduation. This year we used them again for my daughters graduation. Once items were picked up, we received a final bill of the agreed upon price of $595 which included $200 deliver charge. After we paid in full and they confirm check received, Jim sent us another bill for a tear down fee. We had 6table, 3umbrellas, and 35 chairs (we stacked the chairs just becuz we wanted them out of the way). However not once in any communication nor in our contract did Jim or his drive mention we needed to fold up the tables or they would charge us an addtl $99. Had they mentioned it we would have gladly done so. When I placed my order with Jim, I let him know I was at the hospital bcuz my mom had a stroke so I didn't knit pick the order when some of the linen was delivered dirty. Now I'm being bombarded with another bill to break down six tables for $99. I will NOT pay any additional charges that was not ever discussed, or communicated nor in my original contract after I've paid my final bill. My final bill which was for the original amount was sent after all items were picked up. After it was paid I received the other bill. I called Jim and this has been a Horrible Horrible Horrible experience. He said he's taking me to court for the $99. I have all my emails and my invoices. Save yourself a headache use a company that's upfront and professional. I was trying to support a local business even though my first experience was not great and now my second experience is worse, sooooo unprofessional.

Tool & Truck Rental Center at The Home Depot

Rented heavy duty machine to remove PVC tile from the floor. Machine turn out to be totally useless and was returned immediately after 1 minute of use. Total turnout was around 1-1/2 hour include pick up, drive to home(around 6 miles), unload, test and return to rental plus over 20 minutes waiting time(included in 1-1/2 hour time) because tool rental rep. name Tavo elect to serve his friends first without waiting. When rented tool I mentioned that power outage my happen and was told if for any reason tool doest work for me I can returned within 2 hours frame at no charge. So i did this and was charged $38.59 because Tavo said this 2 hour time frame apply only to situation if power goes out which is not what I was told at the time I rented tool. Assistant manager(Alex) called to solve dispute in very rude way told me there is no way no to charge me for that rental. My impression after this experience:- stay away from this place otherwise they will always find the way to screw you up- quality of service in this location is below any standard (hopefully REAL manager step in and solve ongoing problem at this location)- rental policies should be clearly displayed and show minimum charges in case tool doesnt work with customer application and is returned promptly- training and behavior of the Assistant Manager and Rental Rep. is also below any standards and should be evaluated by Management

It was also a triple win since it was less expensive than the school pricing, didnt have to wait for shipping, and I got to support a small business.I will definitely be going back for more books to help in my Polish language journey. It's huge and gorgeous even in winter when the trees are bare. However, there's only 1 bathroom for this park that is many blocks in all directions. We stopped at Stawberry Fields- a monument for John Lennon who was killed across the street from it in front of his apartment building. Walked for a bit near the lake. We had lunch from a food cart- nothing spectacular and I recommend avoiding them because they're expensive and not very good. I have seen so many movies with bicycle and horse drawn carriages and thought it would be cool to hire one to take us around the park. Nope. Not for $4.99-14.99 per MINUTE for the bicycle drawn carriage. I asked about a flat rate to go from the American Museum of Natural History to the Guggenheim. One guy wanted $35 and the other wanted $55. That's for about ½ mile. No idea how much the horse drawn carriage is because none were around. If you visit you must go during daylight hours- too dark otherwise.

I'll start this off by saying that I bought my Chevy Equinox from this dealership, brand new in 2018. Since I bought it I have only been here for all my oil changes and anything that needed repairs- even though I could have gone somewhere cheaper for repairs, I stuck to the dealership since I thought that they would do great work. The customer service experience alone is enough to never want to deal with any Chevy dealership ever again. I won't ever buy a Chevy again. They have not apologized or taken responsibility for poor service and communication over the course of 3 weeks. Even contacting the corporate number was a waste of time. They have yet to call back. Nobody has reached out to apologize or taken accountability for anything. I'm a healthcare worker who does home health. I NEED my car for work everyday to drive to my patient's houses in the valley. It's my livelihood. These people don't care and they never offered me a car to use in any of this process. So I've had to pay for a rental car. I had to pay a $225 diagnostic fee that I don't believe I should have had to pay. My car had no issues before coming here to get an oil change. I'll never recommend Chevy to anyone. I will spread the terrible experience I've had with them and corporate as much as I can so that nobody gets screwed over like I did.Tuesday, May 14th: my husband decided to just take the car up to the Chevy dealership. He explained to them the problems that have all now come up out of nowhere. - brakes are making a clicking noise (I have a video of this) - I would stop at a light and the car took a bit to really go— like cars were honking at me but I couldn't do anything since it came out of nowhere - Multiple lights popped up on dashboard - The front right tire sounded like it was about to fall off Here's where the problems really began. The customer service at Chevy told us that they were really busy and would have to schedule an appointment to have the tire looked at on another day. They also told my husband that they didn't touch anything on my car, all they did was rotate tires & change the oil. Do you think the manager and service guy even took a look at my car? NO. They just automatically got defensive and said there's no way to prove my car wasn't already having these issues. SO EVEN THOUGH THE DEALERSHIP ROTATED MY TIRES & I AM NOW TELLING THEM THAT A TIRE SOUNDS LIKE IT'S GOING TO FALL OFF, THEY WILL STILL LET YOU DRIVE AWAY. My problem is this— I don't care if you're busy because so am I. I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation a few days before. YOU messed my car up so YOU should take responsibility and fix my tire right now because if it falls off when I drive away, I'm in danger. Clearly they don't care though and that's been obvious throughout this. We ended up bringing the car to them on Friday, May 17th to get the tire fixed and also have a diagnostic test done which costs $225. Fast forward to Monday- my husband calls twice to get the status on the car, but is told someone will call back. Nobody ever did. On Tuesday he calls twice, nobody ever calls back. Wednesday, May 22nd: my husband goes up to the dealership and demands an update since nobody has time to call back. Finally they tell him that they're still working on it. He did get loud with them, but we were tired of the unprofessional, nonchalant, carelessness that we had been receiving.There's more, but it ends with me going in to pickup my car and waiting 40 minutes before leaving without my car because they LOST my car keys. Of course they didn't contact me back at all to let me know when they had them. No apologies either.
