For Penske Rental: Good experience here! You can park your car in the customer parking lot, which will remain unlocked and free for you to come back at any hour of the day or night to pick up your car later. The man who was working inside was super helpful and friendly. I did not feel intimidated by the process of renting, picking up, or asking questions. The pick up process here took about 10 minutes, and I was on my way! I recommend scheduling ahead of time, online, for a fast, easy, pre-paid pick up! Thats what I did. I will always pick Penske from now on! Penske is the only company that has unlimited miles for one-way trips.

So glad we found BJ Rentals to not only rent grinding equipment from but also to be there for our myriad questions throughout the process. Our sales rep, Larry, took an hour to not just show us how to set up the equipment, he walked us through the steps and let us grind a bit of crete to get a feel for it. We had a rough start with thick glue so he overnighted the best pads. He was there for us every step of the way and was gracious when we ran into a glitch returning the equipment. (Bad accident coming back from Mammoth closed the road for four hours, then we hit rain and had to stop to cover the equipment then drive slowly with a flapping tarp!) In the end the floor turned out great for a forty-year-old slab. And we got a lot of satisfaction by doing the work ourselves... with a lot of help from BJ Rentals! I can highly recommend this business!

The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless delivery and pickup process for the scissor lift. Thank you to all of Eastlake Home Depot! I prefer this Home Depot over the two that are more conveniently located for me. The customer service here is really great. Even though this Home Depot is much farther away from me, I will go here when I know I will need customer service and/or other information on my purchases. The employees here are amazing at their jobs. They ask me if they can help me before I have to go hunt down help. When I want help they are ready, willing and capable of helping me. They know what they sell, and how to use it. They can also tell me what they have in stock and where it is. They never ditch me without help or say theyll find someone else and not come back. These people will either help or wait until the professional help actually shows up. Which I appreciate so much.Plus the Tool and Truck Rental employees actually know what the tools they are renting out are capable of and arent trying to over sell or under sell their tools. I can call them and they actually care about what I need and how they can help me. They havent ever put me on hold for long periods of time.At both the other stores I had the problem that their employees talked me into either renting a tool not strong enough or was way over kill for what I was actually doing. Usually not the tool I researched and asked for. At Eastlake Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental actually listened to my needs and lead me to the correct tool for the job.I appreciate you guys, keep up the good work. Ill be back again when I need help with my projects because I know youre the better help.

Fill up your trucks and clean them. My truck was only a 1/4 tank. I was charged for not refilling when the needle didn't move. Also the sun visor on the truck was ripped off and missing. Very sub par customer service, there was no walk around and no one to go over the return with me. I was advised to just leave it and I'll get an email. As a result I was charged way more than my estimate. I worked for U-Haul for 3 years, and in that time I never was as lack luster as this location.

I called and asked for a a Jack-hammer and I was given a Jack-hammer... Tyler was even nice enough to give me an extended time to return the equipment the next day. When I got home I realized I had asked for the wrong tool because there wasnt an attachment that would be flat enough to help me remove wood flooring... I called back and without hesitation I was given the option to try out the equipment to see if I could make it work and continue as planned or if it didnt work I could simply return the equipment and I would get a full refund. Everything was my mistake and they still took great care of me, definitely will be going back if I need any construction equipment again.

Well needed a ground compactor to finish up some digging that had to be done in my back yard. Went to united rentals, and sure enough they had what I needed. I renteded for half a day, wich by the way was enough time to complete the task. Ok, so they NEVER warned me how very heavy the piece of equipment was, they loaded it on my truck by using a fork lift, and I was on my way home, only then I realized, how Im I gonna get this thing down to the ground, somehow I was able to do it. Well, once I finished the job, the questinon was, how am I going to lift this very heavy machine back on the bed of my truck, Truth is I couldnt, so I called them to ask if they could come and pick it up, and yes they say, but it would cost me 150.00 and I only live 1 half a mile from them. I could not afford to pay that much money to them, so somehow with the help of one of my neighbors was able to load it up and return it back to them. I wish they woulded warned me, if I knew that lifting up would be back breaking work, and to make sure that I knew of a safe way of doing it. So I would suggest to them, EDUCATE do it yourselfes and warn them properly about risks of taking home heavy equipment that they jad never had a chance to use before. At the end it was all good, my sore back was back to normal in a couple of days rest.

Worst place to rent from. Rented a pallet Jack for a 1 hr job ended up charging me $210 for a pallet Jack that did not even work. It was probably at least 10 years old. Doesnt hold once there is a heavy palett on it. I called them the same day I rented it 2 times. Returned after A-day and a 1/2. I was charged 3 days for no reason. Called to complain And the guy on the phone was very disrespectful. Rude people to do business with. And the equipments are pieces of s***. Expect to be treated like a piece of s*** as well if you rent from them.I have been renting equipments for 20 years Never seen such bad customer service. Stay away and save yourself the hassle. Go to sunbelt. Down the street

If you plan on purchasing their cotton candy DON'T…. We had planned to purchase our candy so we are not rushing all around. We were not aware that cotton candy basically looses its puffiness regardless of where it was stored. When I tried going back to the store one day later, a different lady compared to the nice young girl that helped us her first question was…. Where was it stored? And then goes on to how they have it stored in their store? I ain't a candy expert and all my daughter wanted was cotton candy for her candy table where I spent $26 plus tax for them. Being a business owner myself, we do things right for our customers but here obviously she didn't care to allow us to exchange them. We were not aware of the signs all over the register until we got there ALL THINGS ARE FINAL (no refunds totally understand that). We have been going to their Oceanside store for years and stopped prior to COVID and now this occurred purchasing from their Vista store. Next time I'll just buy cotton candy from Smart and Final instead of this local small business. The lady trying to blame me based on where I have it stored.
