This person should not be in business renting moving trucks. Unless you are in a position of maybe needing a truck for your move. Stay away! My reservation meant nothing to him. He told me to go somewhere else cause his computer is down. I explained its the end of the month and thats why I reserved weeks ago. But he didnt really understand or care that this was important so I had to uber to the uhaul center that was literally 1/4 Mike away. Had I known of course that would have been my first choice and it should be yours. Manually renting trucks is an option but didnt want to do it manually or didnt know how. When I asked is English went from bad to worse. You dont need to speak English to know that I cant move without the truck and he didnt lift a finger to help me find other options. He basically pointed me in the right direction and didnt apologize.

Rented a cargo van from this location last minute and the experience was fantastic. Location was easy to find with onsite parking, team was efficient helping me get my truck and items to get moving quickly, team then went above and beyond checking in the truck, making sure everything was as expected and even topping off air in my personal vehicle tires. Great experience, will rent from here again. Will even use this location if I need any body work.

Lets start by saying this... Getting someone on the phone at this location is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE! The do not answer phone calls... And when you arrive to pick up your rental they do not acknowledge you until they have finished with other customers - a simple I will be with you when finish would suffice. On 09/25/2020 I rented a large class C motorhome from Cruise America for 10 days. After 288 miles driven in the RV my husband noticed what felt like a flat tire, after we pulled we noticed that the rear drivers side dual tire were bent on the axel, this was at 9pm on 09/25/20. We immediately called the customer care line and we were connected with Dolores (TA22). We explained the situation and we were told we would need to be towed and then wait until the next day for the RV to be repaired. My husband explained that we were on a schedule and would like a replacement RV. Upon which time we were told that was impossible as all shops were closed and that we had to undergo thorough inspection prior to being issued a new unit, my husband explained to her that it hardly seemed fair to which she told him let me know when you are finished and I will complete this request so we can work on getting you a tow truck in an extremely rude tone. At 3am - 6 hours later a tow truck finally arrived to tow us to the nearest safe location which was a piece of dirt next to a gas station, we did not settle in until 6am due to the tire falling off (THERE WERE NO LUGNUTS ATTACHED TO THE TIRE - I firmly believe this was due to negligence on the rental yards behalf and they did not replace them when putting the tire back on as I cannot imagine THAT MANY falling off on their own) and needing an additional tow truck to lift it so we can put the tire back on and make the unit inhabitable. Being we were forced to stay overnight with no hookups we had to use the generator as the temperature outside was near 100 degrees. It was not until 5pm the next day, after many conversations and a few different mechanics coming out that we received our replacement unit. By this time we had lost our spot for the reservations we had prepaid for at Ventura Ranch KOA. We were forced to stay in the RV again overnight with no hookups being that we could not find an additional place to reserve for the evening. Upon returning the RV we requested a refund for 2 nights for the RV rental and reimbursement for the 2 nights we lost at Ventura Ranch KOA. We also requested the time used for the generator to not be calculated for 10 hours because we were forced to use it due to the extreme heat and inability to hook up. We were denied said request and instead only given back our deposit (minus the generator use).I WILL NEVER AGAIN RENT FROM CRUISE AMERICA AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!The customer service is awful, the RVs are falling apart and they are NOT THOROUGHLY INSPECTED PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.
Big O Tires
2160 S El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA 94403, United States
Needed new tires and didnt think my tires would make it to Redwood General Tire (my go to tire place) so I decided to do Big O. That was a Big O Mistake! I ordered my tires on Friday of Memorial Day weekend and they told me they would be in the next day (Saturday). I called Saturday and they told me they wouldnt be in until Tuesday due to the holiday. They called me on Wednesday to let me know my tires were in. I asked if I could come on Saturday and they said sure. I arrive at 1:00 and before we sign the paper work we are looking at all the extra costs. The guy said, oh did we tell you about the 3 yr warranty protection plan? We said, we dont want it. He then said, oh, well that will bring the price down. If we hadnt looked closely at all the charges they would have charged us for that. We sign the paper work and they tell me the car will be ready in about 2 hrs and they will call me. I call at 3:30 and they tell me they havent gotten to it yet but its next, oh its going on right now. My husband and I drove our other car over to Big O and Big O surprise, our car was in the same spot it was at 1 pm. They told me that my car was going in next and it would probably be about an hour and 45 minutes. I said, I came in at 1 pm and they told me two hours. I called two and a half hours later and they told me it was going in right now, its still in the same spot. Then they said, oh we can do it now. They put it on the hydraulic jack and jacked it up, took off the tires and about a minute later a hydraulic fluid line sprung a leak and the belly of my car hit the ground. The hydraulic fluid got all over my undercarriage, on my right break rotor and on the fender of my car. Then they had to manually jack it up and had a couple mishaps doing that. Once they got my tires on they drove it to another carport and put it on the lift to give me a free alignment aka checking to make sure that they didnt break anything when the jack failed. They told me there might be some leakage but it was just the hydraulic fluid that got sprayed on the undercarriage. When we got home we hosed it off and there was a ton of hydraulic fluid. I will never go back to Big O tires again! If you can go anywhere else do it.
