This is a unique review and circumstance but speaks to the overall excellence of Major Event Trailers. My fiancé and I had planned to use MET for our wedding booked in June of 2020 but, like many others, we had to postpone our date until 2021. Liz from MET was very easy to communicate with, and very responsive with emails. She made it easy to change dates. Fast forward to the beginning of 2021 and other personal circumstances contributed to the decision for our wedding celebration to be canceled. Liz was so empathetic and understanding of our situation. She was able to refund us our deposit based on our contract agreement (always read your contract). The refund was quick and prompt and Liz was just the best. Although we weren't able to finish working with MET and their products, I would recommend them on the basis of their professionalism, empathy, communication and overall desire to help us along our journey. Uhaul as a company has many challenges to deal with that we as customers are completely unaware of. After many hours of research ( It was a long drive cross country. ha) I am very thankful this company's product and service that it offers, is still even around.1. With some years being worse than others, in the past 30-40 years people have been generally leaving California. The people coming to California are not bringing Moving equip. They are immigrants coming from South of the border, India (Tech Co.), and Chinese (SF) among a splash of others. So what happens is Uhaul rents a truck one way let's say to Ohio or Colorado. That truck is for the most part gone. How many people move from Ohio to Ca? The full price of their house wouldn't put a down payment here. And due to government regulations of contract workers, (They would use college students moving back home years ago) there is little to no way to get that truck back to Ca. So this is quiet the obstacle to overcome. So much so that every other rental truck company (Ryder Penske Budget etc) has failed. . Moving sucks, I'm doing it right now. But, just as with electronic stores, drug stores, recycling locations etc. Years and years of taxation, government regulation, consumers wanting the lowest price but ant to be paid top dolla has killed businesses here in the U,s. Uhaul has hung on. And I would say they do a pretty damn good job .

Definitely made moving 100x worse! I reserved a trailer with them in person two days before my move out date. Only to arrive and none were available. They sent me to another location with the guy guaranting me a trailer and also reserving it for me before me heading to that location to pick it up, Only to find out the only trailer they had was broken for some time and has not been used and no other trailer was available at the moment. They simply stated they were sorry and they couldnt do anything for me leaving me scrambling around town looking for another trailer. None of them ever seemed to want to help just brushed me off. They failed to meet my reservation not once but twice. Be sure to collect your $50 if they fail to meet your reservation! None of the people I talked to in person ever mentioned the $50 the company guarantees if a reservation is not met.-Your welcome ?

My experience was average. I did have an issue where I had to purchase an adapter piece for the trailer lights (for $16) and when the guy hooked it up the lights didnt come on when we got out to inspect it we noticed the wire to the trailer was broken and had to bring it to the employees attention and they switched us trailers. The lights still didnt work but I couldnt return the unused and not desired adapter piece.

Going through lifes transitions and moving from New York with 2 kids alone is stressful and emotional. I showed up to Public Storage and was greeted by Nathan. He was very direct with pricing, storage size and any amenities I might need to assist in packing, etc. He showed me the property and I was shocked at how CLEAN this location was! Every time I am the facility, Im sure to stop in and say hi to him! And also my kids adore him! Im almost sad thinking about the day Ill no longer need my storage unit. If you ever need a Staff and Manager Trainer to train other employees and staff on customer service and Building Operations, please think about Nathan. He is the prime example of what a manager is! They have so many different type of equipment and materials you can generally find what you need. The staff is awesome from the Yard staff all the way to the desk staff and management.
