3hrs into our 7hr car trip the maintenance oil light went on. When I called the 1-800 # and connected to the ongoing rental issues dept, I was given two options. Take the car in to get an oil change or take the car to the nearest Hertz for a trade in. After fully unpacking the vehicle I took the car to the Hertz the agent directed me to. It was there that I was told they could not help me as their Hertz is privately owned and I was turned away with the option of driving another 40 minutes to a different Hertz. Already loosing a day to this mess I attempted to call the Chico Hertz. No direct option to talk to a person during this time. I had to pretend to be an insurance company to connect to a live person. The agent at the private Hertz confirmed there was an issue with the automated phone system. The response I got from Chico Hertz was “I wish you would have called me. Just drive the car.” There was an offer to possibly reimburse for my inconvenience but I had to call another 1-800 #. After calling this number 2x and again after the rental was completed I was told there was no report of the issue filed so they would have to contact the local Hertz. Customer service is sub par.

After numerous attempts of looking for a cheaper insurance by myself, I decided to get help from Heritage Insurance Agency. I had couple of car accidents in the same year so my insurance had gone up to 2 times the amount I used to pay. Juan was the guy who helped me out and the first few quotes we got weren't any better than my previous insurance. But, Juan didn't give up and kept working on it until he could find me a better deal. Juan kept in contact with me for over a month to make sure I have a better deal and have no problem with my new insurance. I am now saving over $1000 a year on my insurance and I'm very thankful for how hard he worked. I 100% recommend Heritage Insurance Agency and I will always go to them if I ever need a new insurance for anything.

Hire Alisha Simpkins, that about wraps it up in a nutshell. But here are the details for those who wish to read further. Alisha has been working with me for a few years now. It has been a long process relocating out of state. Even though it took a very long time, Alisha never pressured or got impatient with me. When it came time to sell, I had some misgivings about how she wanted to list and stage the house. I respect Alisha and did everything she asked. I got so much more for my house then even I had anticipated. Alisha is a true professional who puts her clients wishes at the forefront. Im so glad I didnt listen to my ego (I thought I knew what was going on, a true armchair realtor) and trusted her experience. As far as customer service goes, you will not find better. You can thank me later. My water heater decided to give the ghost right after we had listed. I didnt expect Alisha to do anything. But before i could tell her what i was going to do, she had already mobilized her impressive army to fix this issue and take the pressure of moving all the way across the country, while flying back and forth between California and Kentucky, listing my house, and packing to move across the country. She anticipated my wifes and my needs at every juncture and kept us updated at every turn. She is not only one of the most genuinely nice people you will ever meet, but she is honest when it wasnt convenient to be. That is character my friend. Another realtor did something that Alisha knew I wouldnt like (she takes the time to get to know you as a person), mind you she had zero control of this minor thing and she was completely up front with this issue. I respect that on a greater level then I can put into words. She took the initiative to make sure what happened (it was a very small annoyance, it just seemed bigger to me at the time with the stress that I listed above). Alisha couldve blown it off and told me it wasnt a big deal like other agents might have, but she didnt. Another thing that I really liked was all the technology she has in her arsenal. She owns the 3D camera and what not to literally give a virtual tour of your listing! She doesnt have to call a third party to get this done and charge you back for it later. Im a pretty bare bones guy. That said she staged the house with a professional, at no additional cost to me. These are the things that are awesome bonuses that come along with her exemplary service. Her whole staff follows her lead service wise. So hire this lady, trust her instincts, and let her work her magic. The difference between what I thought she could do and what she did when I trusted her, literally changed our lives in a better way then I ever imagined. There was so much more that she did for us, but I have probably gone on too long as it is! At the end of it (which was way ahead of schedule in a good way!), she showed up to make sure everything was good on my end while I signed my sellers paperwork. There isnt much to do on that end. But thats the level of service she gives. And then, like a cherry on top she gave us a very personal gift basket and said she appreciated working with me! Are you kidding me?! More like they other way around! I should give her a gift basket for unprecedented loyalty and service! Like I said way back up top, hire Alisha and have the confidence and solace knowing you got the best that can be had anywhere.

CONSTANTLY BUGGING ME For; feedback, robocalls singing birthday, emails, cards. WHAT A GOD DAMN WASTE of time and money. How about just be my damn insurance company and leave me the **** alone?Maybe dont spent $100k a year on customer engagement ie: WASTING MY TIME, clogging my in box, robocalling me and instead give me cheaper insurance. Seriously have asked to not be bothered at least 4 times.I am NOT renewing with ALLSTATE KEVIN BAKER becasue of the RIDICULOUS amount of spam, robocalls and requests for feedback.They Waste more of my time than any other greedy *** corporation I have to deal with.Avoid Allstate Kevin Baker unless you like frequent Robocalls, Spam and junk mail. My inbox has 15 email from the last 2 months from them and 100% of it is spam.EDIT: More than a month later and still getting emails and calls from them!! Not only that but Mr. Baker actually complained to my childs mother (my ex) when she was in their office about this review. I will never do business with Allstate again, especially Kevin Baker. Not very professional.

Honestly let's be real, I'm never the type to leave reviews, but this Allstate team is awesome. From every one of their staff to their great rates, auto insurance can be quite pricey and quite a drag. I've gotten about 5 different quotes from other insurance companies, and no one was willing to work with me or just hit me with a really high quote due to my point on my record, when i walked in, Allen had helped me right away, super cool dude and honest ! Told me that with my Point on my record is going to affect my rates, which I've heard from others already, but what i didn't expect was that he didn't just beat the quotes from others, he went above and beyond ! Super cool dude, Allen helped me thruout the whole process and even told me some valuable information about why rates are priced where they're at. While other companies would just plainly give me a quote and called it a day. I had to leave to school Mid process and Allen didn't mind, he gave me all the steps and how the process was going, gave me a call and updates. Truely phenomenal, like who does that!? 10/10 would totally recommend, planning to move next year to a house and there's no doubt that I'm coming back for insurance. They don't just do auto, they do everything.

I had one of the best auto repair experiences thanks to Dan, owner of Chico Car Care. Our Toyota Prius V would not engage into drive and my OBDII scanner displayed codes that went beyond my ability to properly diagnose and repair the vehicle. I found Chico Car Care through my short list of local ASE recognized repair specialists. What impressed me most was the swift response to requesting a repair appointment and the courtesy services they offered, e.g. free Lyft service to a car rental agency. Dan also offered me an excellent referral to Jims Towing. Upon Chico Car Care diagnosis inspection, they were able to identify the source of the vehicles malfunction and able to correct and restore its ability to go back into drive. Also, I really appreciated the very detailed, tiered level of repair priority they generated for the vehicle. My wife and I are overjoyed to have the vehicle back on the road. I cant speak more highly for Dans swift response and straight forward communication and we are so grateful for his level of professionalism and customer service from start to finish.
