Enterprise Rent-A-Car
8583 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069, United States
Overall I was satisfied with my experience. The young lady who signed me out was very friendly and helpful. The car was nice, clean, decent size, and in good shape. However, I do have a few complaints.I changed my original pick up date but when I called to confirm a pick up, the main res. # had no record of my change. When I texted the gentleman who picked me up ( I believe he was the branch manager) to ask a parking ordinance question, he never replied.I was not happy with the GM entertainment/info. system in the car. It kept making beeping noises, not sure why. It wouldnt charge my phone. the display kept showing all kinds of odd messages on it about music, and after about an hour, the XM/Sirius satellite stopped playing.I was fine with that last thing as I didnt ask for that service if it was extra money, but it was odd that it played then stopped. And I couldnt get reception for the excellent LA public radio station I always like to listen to in LA, KCRW-FM.I was also under the impression I wasnt getting charged for the day I had to pick up the car. I didnt need the car until Labor Day, 9/5, but because the branch was closed that day for the holiday (I do NOT begrudge people getting a holiday off, especially Labor Day), I had to get the car the day before, on Sunday, 9/4.I never even used the vehicle that day except to drive from the Enterprise office to the hotel I was staying at, where I had to pay $40 to park the car overnight as there is no street parking near where I stayed except for residents with permits. Basically the car cost me an extra $75 for a day I didnt even want or need it (extra days rental plus hotel parking). When I called Enterprise to inquire about this when I saw the extra days charge on my bill, I was told someone would look into it and call me back. Well its now two weeks later and no call back from anyone.I was planning on not reviewing Enterprise because I didnt want to say anything bad about the company, but now that Ive gotten two emails asking me to do so, I figured I would take the time and write my review.Thank you.
Pirelli P ZERO World
10349 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90025, United States
I strongly recommend Pirelli P Zero World if you need high quality tires for your car. They also offer customizations like window tint, and fixes for things like curb scrapes on your wheel rims.I desperately needed new tires for my Tesla and had narrowed it down to a few choices made specifically for Electric cars, one of which was a Pirelli. But I had a hard time finding a shop with this tire in the West LA area and any of the standard tire stores kept pushing me to tires and brands I had never heard of.So I made a visit to Pirelli P Zero World to see if they had or could easily get the tire I wanted. After all, this is a Pirelli store so if anyone could answer my questions and know the details about a tire it would be them! The spacious store stands out with its black facade and gold lettering located across from the Westfield Century City mall. They have a large showroom to show off their customizations and rim selections with a Mercedes and Porsche that was parked on the floor. They also had a lot of high-end cars in their lot waiting for service like Range Rovers, Ferrari's, Cadillac, as well as other Tesla's. This was reassuring that they dealt with cars that have unique needs and wouldn't put the car lift in the wrong place or do anything else that would mess up the car (Tesla's with their weight and battery pack have special lift needs that are slightly different from normal cars).Claus greeted me and I learned he is the owner. He is extremely personable and knowledgeable about the Pirelli tire line. He answered all my questions about the tire I wanted, and explained the specifics about that tire's construction. Though he didn't have the size of the tire I needed that day, he was able to get them a few days later and we scheduled an appointment. He even price-matched with another store I found an hour away.Another thing I asked Claus was if he could repair the unsightly curb scrapes from when I parallel parked on the street too close to the curb. Clause was able to schedule that service at the same time as my tire installation at a good price and they now look great!I am so happy with my new tires and fixed rims! If you are in Los Angeles and need new tires, especially if you have a Tesla or other Electric or high-end vehicle, I strongly recommend Claus and his people at Pirelli P ZERO World in West LA. They will take care of you with great service and a good price!

Highly recommend. I was in a pinch and needed a car. Beverly Hills Car Rental provided me with a brand new beautiful clean car on the spot. They were flexible with my rental because I didnt know how long I needed it. They went above and beyond and did a pick up when I was unable to return the car from an hours drive away. Very polite, professional and kind. Prices were very reasonable and competitive. 110% recommend. Thank you team at Beverly Hills Car Rental.

Kristi Isaac - State Farm Insurance Agent
3157 Donald Douglas Loop S, Santa Monica, CA 90405, United States
Absolutely THE Best Insurance Agent and amazing staff. I have been a client of Kristi Issac Insurance for going on 25 years and have nothing but the best to say about them. I have had every kind of policy including Homeowners, Car, Rental Property, Umbrella and Personal Articles and would recommend them to everyone. Sadly, I’ve had to deal with some other agencies as well and you do not see the type of service that you will with Kristi Issac and her amazing staff of Jose and Karina. They are truly gems in the insurance industry and I can count on them 100% which is a rarity these days. They are always available and continue to help me with all my insurance needs. FIVE STARS Plus!!!
Scott Price - Compass Real Estate
2115 Main St, Santa Monica, CA 90405, United States
I cant recommend Scott Price highly enough, and here is why: After living in a condo in Downtown Los Angeles since 2008, I decided it was time for a bit of normalcy and quiet for my personal sanity during COVID 2020, and a plot of land I could call my own (and dig my toes in some green grass in a yard). I decided to move to somewhere in the middle of the city (Miracle Mile, Hancock Park, West Adams, etc.). I had always wanted a yard, a BBQ island, and potentially a jacuzzi of my own. I think it was when the Lakers won in 2020 (I was there in the crowds in 09 and 10, and it wasnt so rowdy), and then when the Dodgers won (by the Grace of Gibson) that I knew I had to GTFO DTLA.I have to admit, it was rough to start when I started to look for homes in July. The market in Mid City Los Angeles is competitive to be polite and downright vicious at the minimum. Homes in Q4 of 2020 amid the pandemic were being listed and sold within 2-3 days in the hot markets of West Adams, Bevererlywod, La Cienega Heights, Picfair Village, Faircraft heights, Carthay Square, Miracle Mile, Mid-Wilshire, Dockweiler, Wilshire Park, and Hancock Park.Your real estate agent SHOULD be like your hair-stylist, private banker, club promoter, or wealth manager. A good working relationship is a must and will pay long term dividends. Many of them werent great communicators, decent at sales, but incredibly bad on the tactics of buying a house and how to assess intangibles that were a win-win situation for the agent and me. A lot of them tried to push me to buy the first home I saw. Dont skimp or think the RedFin discount will help-- it wont. Dont try to split the commission 50/50 with your sister, mom, brother, or in-laws say its an easy way to save. It wont be, especially for an ultra-competitive market. You will lose long-term because unless those people have sold for years, they will not know how to assess correctly, and that will hurt you with maintenance and other surprise costs in the future. After I turned to Yelp, and I called 3 of the top agents in the area. Scott Price stood out because someone else I respected very much as a former colleague had given glowing reviews. He did not disappoint. Hes an amazing communicator and is the opposite of lazy. He is a real estate expert and a total geek about home construction. He can talk your ear off with details about roofs or foundations. I now can eyeball whether a neighborhood or home will likely have residents who will make the homes value go up or down. I can tell this from the sidewalk to the little detail about chimneys, the windows, the lawn, cars, parking situation, the business surrounding it, trees, and the windows conditions. I can now mentally estimate the cost of structural repairs, future maintenance costs, and whether some renovation is possible. Ive learned to ask the right questions, and my eye for real estate assessment has grown without the price of a costly mistake. I also know how to tell real original vintage Spanish tiles on a roof and how they were made (ask him). We looked at over 7 homes in person, and he taught me how to even skip this step. I almost purchased a home over 200k over what I wanted to buy. Still, he made sure I drove around the block, and we found an auto-body shop less than 100 feet away from the backyard and the master bedroom.Scott is the ultimate teacher and guru. He is an everlasting professional who owns multiple properties of his own. He can tell you with a glance whether something is up to code and ball-park how much it will cost to maintain. Dont skimp on your first house purchase. It is a significant investment. If you value your time and want to increase your own capabilities, you can do no better than Scott Price. Real estate is a long term commitment, and Scott is a long-term thinker and a person you want on your side. Dont skimp on one of the more critical decisions in your life and go with Scott Price.
Byron Galindo - State Farm Insurance Agent
214 Pier Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90405, United States
I recently was non-renewed by my previous insurance company for my residence in the Pacific Palisades. Fortunately my son had recently worked with Randall Hall at Byron Galindos State Farm office and told me that he was fantastic to work with. After my appointment with Randall he continued to work with me addressing any detail of coverage question that I had, and even went out of his way to provide answers to questions that I had not thought to ask. I ended up switching not only this house to him but my son in laws as well.We also changed our umbrella policy to State Farm, and our Autos.Three months later Randall still continues to respond to any questions I have in as thoughtful a way as ever. I have now introduced him to my neighbors and would recommend anyone who has property in the Palisades to speak to Randall about properly insuring it.
Ray Lyon Realty Realtor
2115 Main St, Santa Monica, CA 90405, United States
Ray Lyon helped me sell my property in Santa Monica, December of 2020. My experience with Ray was exceptional from the first moment all the way through completion of the sale. From the first conversation it was clear that Ray is not only a smart, engaged and very experienced real estate agent, but also an incredibly savvy marketing expert with an excellent pulse on the dynamics of real estate at any given point. Even in the midsts of the truly unpredictable COVID pandemic his assessment of the market and his proposed advertising strategy was 100% on point. He was wonderful to work with - thorough, diligent and patient in guiding me through the process, and thoughtful and considerate of all people involved (including all my neighbors). Ray also took a personal interest in helping me make my property look its absolute best - he strategized with me and gave me invaluable tips on how to stage the space, and even helped me with some of his own staging items!Ray also brought in a fantastic photographer, Joshua Spooner, who created irresistible photos, a 3D walkthrough and jaw dropping drone footage of the apartment inside and out. Many friends who had known the place for years were commenting on how well Joshua captured it's vibe and brought out its very best. Ray included all of these marketing efforts in his own commission so I didn't have to worry about anything! The success of the showings and the smoothness of the escrow process also exceeded my wildest expectations. In spite of being in the midst of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic AND listing my apartment 3 weeks before Christmas, Ray managed to bring in 65 parties - partially even from out of state! - to see the place. He went above and beyond managing 3 intense days of individual showings to comply with COVID safety regulations without hampering the presentation in the slightest. He then went on to advise me confidently, thoughtfully and in the best possible way throughout the reviewing of a significant number of offers and was an invaluable calming, and professional guide through this (for me) stressful process.Once a buyer was identified, Ray stayed in close communication, was available at all times, and made sure all my questions were answered immediately during the entire escrow phase (even though this happened largely over the Holidays!).This was my first home sale and I felt the entire time that I was in absolutely trustworthy hands and that the whole process was managed to the absolute highest good of all concerned. In this exceptional sale Ray Lyon not only found the perfect buyer for my property, we also closed at 40% above the listing price!I can not thank Ray and his team enough and I recommend him 1000%!
