Rent-It Truck Rentals Simi Valley
(Easy and, E Easy St, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
I rented a truck to move a piano and with the liftgate the move went easy and quick. Pricing was competitive until I realized I was hit for a deposit that was 6x more than the final rental price. And this deposit didnt clear until 6 days later. Good trucks, terrible business practices.

Auto Body Unlimited

Jay, the owner, was pleasant and knowledgeable. I was not looking forward to dealing with the insurance adjusters at all, but he took care of all of that for me. So I took my car in and basically, Jay took care of everything else. It was one-stop, hassle-free shopping and it looked great when I picked it up. And it was actually ready when he said it would be! With so many body shops in Simi, its nice to find one you can trust that does quality work.

Koning Insurance agency
45 W Easy St Ste 8, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
Josh Koning at Farmers has been fabulous to work with over the past several years. We have a few policies through Josh and whenever someone is looking for referrals for an agent I always recommend Josh. He is prompt to reply and never makes me feel bad when I call with questions or to assist me while I was overseas making policy payments. Truly top notch customer service, super friendly, always upbeat and willing to help however he can. If he doesn't have an immediate answer he always gets back to me in less than 24 hours which is so appreciated when it comes to insurance. He has a variety of options available and always finds the best pricing while making sure all of my bases are covered. He is very thorough, patient, and extremely professional. Can't recommend Josh and Tim enough! Thank you for everything!

Ramiro Alvarez - State Farm Insurance Agent
1951 Galt St, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
They are super nice when signing up. BUT a year later they raised the price with out notice by 100$! The day before yesterday I had mentioned to Ramiro that the price was super high and he raised my insurance that same day with out notice! I have not got in any accidents or tickets since I started driving 4 years ago. I am looking into cancelling but waiting on them to respond with any recommendations they have. I would not recommend this insurance to good drivers because many company's give good rates to good drivers. Save money and time go somewhere else. It extremely unprofessional to have the time to raise your price not have the time to contact the client you spoke to a day ago.

Mike Krupka Auto Insurance
1965 Yosemite Ave Ste 210, Simi Valley, CA 93063, United States
I have been using this agency for all my insurance needs for more than 25 years and an incident that occurred today is the best example of why i continue to use and recommend Mike Krupka and his staff. if you live in southern california you iwill know that in the past few days we have been subjected to a series of serious earthquakes or after shocks. as we know earthquake insurance is considered to be expensive and deductibles can vary from 5 to at least 15% mike sent an email to all of his customers today suggestng that for the short term they lower the percentage of their decuctible like to 5 % so that if a serious incident causing severe damage to your home occurred your deudtible would be lower and that it could be reviewed again in 30 days. your ot of pocket mone to lower the deductible was nomnal. what a great idea . i did it for a nominal fee, i had better protection than i did before. furthermore he reminded all of us to make sure that we had move out insurance. if our homes were either not usable or yellow tagged, we still would have to pay our mortgages but would also have to pay to rent another home and pay storage etc. this move out insurance which has no deductible covers just those kinds of costs. i said yes, but mike contacted me to let me know that i already had this type of insurance. i have been covered since i moved to my home some 4 years ago. mike was proactive and really tried to protect me and gave me additional assurance in this very scary time that i had the proper coverage to enable me to keep my lifestyle.i believe that this is what an insurance agent should do and i didnt have to remind him to check for me, he did it for all of his customers, i dont think you can do better than that and for these reasons mike and his allstate agency should get a 10 star review rather than a five star review.

Rancho Simi Insurance Agency
1611 E Los Angeles Ave, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
I am pleased to call Rancho Insurance my insurance company for 15 years now. I've been dealing with Beverly Bramson for the last four months regarding my 20 year old college student being taken off our insurance and then putting her back on. Because our circumstances have changed back a forth (like 5 times, take her off; no wait put her back on). She was courteous, calm and professional throughout the entire process. If it was me, I think there would've been somewhat frustration that this customer couldn't make up their minds. To top it off, I was on a lot of vacations this summer, so I would have her send me emails of reminders and every time she completed these enormous emails promptly and never gave me an attitude that I was inconveniencing her. This is refreshing! Thank you Beverly and Rancho Insurance. Kathy Marquette

The Vineyards
2525 Stow St, Simi Valley, CA 93063, United States
Our wedding was perfect. I couldnt be happier or more blessed to have my ceremony and reception at The Vineyards in Simi Valley. When my Husband, then Fiance, and I toured the venue, The Vineyards became unforgettable. We knew somehow that this was the place. We had some really beautiful kind of supernatural things happen during the first few weeks of engagement and at this place we had butterflies follow us around as we toured, then again when we signed our contract, and again on rehearsal day. It was like divine confirmation. We had a very short engagement and basically had 3 months to arrange EVERYTHING for our wedding. People asked us how we did it, and honestly, outside of eating, sleeping, and breathing wedding planning, a lot of credit goes to Soroor and Jimmy and Shadi and the team at The Vineyards. Having an inclusive venue with a trusted vendor package made preparing in limited time so much easier! I truly got to enjoy my wedding day and didnt have to worry about the schedule, decor, or things going to plan because I knew I was in good hands. We called places right away and of the 7, only 2 places picked up, including here. We got a tour the next day and were smitten. Soroor told us she wouldnt accept our money today even if we wanted and to go explore other venues and options first for peace of mind. We were blown away with that. They wanted to make sure we were happy and found the right place for our wedding more than securing a deposit and booking a date and at the same time were confident in their venue and knew if it was right wed be back, and we did return to book shortly after! From beginning to finish, the team at The Vineyards treats you like family. Theyre attentive, assuring, ready to help with suggestions, and radiate warmth and kindness. They know you by first name basis, work with you, and sincerely love their work. We picked out our engagement ring from a family owned business in Ventura and we felt good also knowing our venue was family owned and operated and supported people in our own community. You dont get the same feeling from a corporate hotel, golf course, or rental estate.During our wedding and right after, our guests raved about how FUN our wedding was. That meant so much to us! We couldnt be happier and are so glad everyone had a great time.My Dad has a brace and walks with a cane and I wanted a venue with handicap accessibility and it worked out great for him. Even though there are a few steps around the venue, there are alternative paths that are completely flat. They even have a wheelchair on hand if you need it.We went with the vendor package and highly recommend it!Heres who we chose:DJ - Juan Del Villar (Deejay Kryptonite)Juan gives your reception so much energy and as a professional DJ knows when to cut certain songs short or seamlessly transition to another track to keep the vibe going. We forgot to bring stickers for the centerpiece prize game and with quick thinking he ended up doing a napkin game instead.Photographer - Liz and Mia PhotographyLiz is super thorough and communicates quickly. She kept my confidence at a 10 and paid great attention to details. Her assistant Joe was so kind and we are glad we had a secondary photographer to capture more angles and moments with her.Cake: Divine Pastry Shop [ @divine_pastry_shop]Flavor choices at least for the vendor package were kind of limited but they do incredible work!Flowers: Flowers by Scarlett [ @scarlett_theflorist ]Scarlett has a true passion for flowers and is very sweet. She got my vision and wowed us with her handiwork.

Green Acres Market
2918 E Los Angeles Ave, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
I recently dined at Simi Green Acres with two business partners, anticipating a delightful post-Christmas dinner featuring the highly acclaimed local BBQ tri-tip joint. Regrettably, our visit was marred by below subpar service, specifically from the individual identified as JC, who handled our order. As a Simi Valley native and a returning customer, I approached the order process with enthusiasm, seeking recommendations for sides to accompany our tri-tip sandwiches. JCs dismissive response and lack of engagement were immediately apparent, setting an unfortunate tone for our experience.Compounding our disappointment, my order was incomplete, missing the macaroni and cheese I had requested. Politely bringing this to JCs attention was met with eye rolls, a condescending tone, and an overall lack of professionalism. This behavior left us bewildered and uncomfortable. To the point where I felt like I needed to apologize for ordering an additional side.Despite our courteousness, the negative demeanor persisted. It became apparent that JCs approach to order fulfillment lacked efficiency and customer-centricity. Rather than addressing the oversight constructively, her response conveyed an unwarranted sense of frustration. Our decision to refrain from further dialogue was driven by a concern for the integrity of our meal (which unfortunately did occur). Subsequent observations of JCs interaction with what appeared to be a management or owner, coupled with a subsequent order receiving a cold and unsatisfactory dish (cold unmelted cheese which we found out when we opened it) which reinforced our disappointment. The (3) of us ended up splitting (2) meals into (3) because of the one that ordered the Tri-tip philly cheese steak was cold, with unmelted cheese and did not want to go back. We definitely did not feel welcomed, JC was clearly being rude, disrespectful, and condescending. No shame. This experience was not reflective of the standards we associate with Simi Green Acres. Our embarrassment and dissatisfaction stem from the uncharacteristically rude, disrespectful, and condescending service we encountered on this occasion. This feedback is intended to be constructive, urging management to reassess internal processes, communication protocols, and training to ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience. Simi Green Acres has earned a reputation for quality food and service, and I trust that this incident can serve as an opportunity for improvement.I sincerely hope that management will consider this feedback earnestly, as it is driven by a desire to see Simi Green Acres continue its tradition of excellence.

WM - Simi Valley Transfer Station
2801 Madera Rd, Simi Valley, CA 93065, United States
Until this last move, Ive always had a positive experience w/ WM. I cannot say that anymore. I signed up for service again w/ WM after my last move about a week and a half ago. They said the earliest they could have waste containers to my house was in 7 days. 7 days later and a weeks worth of trash after a move, I still have yet to receive the waste containers. I called the following Monday hoping the containers would be delivered that day. They were not. It is now Tuesday and Im not all that sanguine that I will be receiving my waste containers today. Number of questions. 1. Why even take the containers at all from the house after people move out? The next occupant has no choice but to sign up since WM is the only refuse removal in the city. 2. After missing the initial drop off why not make the extra effort to get containers to the resident immediately. If my containers are not delivered today, I have half a mind to take the immense amount of trash in my garage and drop it off in front of my WMs local office.Follow up: After calling them today, they said they had been delivered yesterday. I assured them they were not and then they said that theyd be delivered tomorrow which is Wednesday. I talked to a supervisor named Leslie who told me they do not have inventory to deliver today. So either I was being lied to previously, or Leslie is lying to me now. Am I to believe that there is not a single bin they can deliver to my house to remedy the situation.
