Aba Daba Rents & Ready Mix
7448 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610, United States
I have to say that this place is very convenient it has multiple things that people can use or I can say rent to help them all the way from a wedding to digging a ditch. The table and chairs are pretty worn and I think the prices are a little high for such worn outitems other than that they came in handy and I think that the prices are are based on obviously things that people need in a hurry. Im sorry Abba daba rentsI just think that over $130.00 for tables and chairs for 1 day is maybe a little high. But once we covered up at least the tables it turned out pretty good.I had to cover them double to cover up the frail wood underneath

Rooter Hero Plumbing & Air

Words are not enough to describe how pleased I am with Rooter Hero Plumbing Sacramento, and the work they performed. Before contacting them, I had used another plumber who charged me about $700 to basically make a hole in a wall to access a pipe and then run a snake into it to temporary clear the pipes. The problem returned a day later, but was worse. After contacting several other plumbers to deal with the problem (some didnt return my call; some had phones that were disconnected; and others didnt have to proper equipment to handle the job), I finally got a hold of Rooter Hero and booked an appointment for the next day. Much to my surprise, I received a phone call from the Operations Manager, Patrick, the following morning to assure me that he was sending over his best guy to troubleshoot the problem. That guy turned out to be Greg, and Patrick was right about him. After sending a camera into the pipes, we saw several failed sewer pipes leading from our house to the main sewer line. No snaking was going to fix this problem. Greg immediately informed me as to what needed to be done and how. This it turns out was going to be a major project. After assuring me his company could handle this type of job, he wasted no time preparing and filing a work permit on his phone and scheduling a County Inspector to come out later that day. Greg also sent out two guys, Antonio (Tony) and Trever to dig the holes necessary to access the broken pipes. These holes ended up going down about 15 feet. Greg also determined a second hole could be dug outside my house to access the pipes connected to our downstairs bathroom toilet and shower instead of tearing up my bathroom and the adjacent laundry room and causing a major disruption to my family. Throughout the entire project, which took a little less than two weeks, Greg, Tony and Trever worked diligently on completing the job with as little inconvenience to my family as possible. They routinely worked long after dark, and on the weekends to finish the job as quickly as possible. They were all extremely courteous and professional and constantly kept me informed as to the status of the work. The work is now completed and we have complete use of our facilities again. The pipes are flowing like new! I am absolutely convinced that had I not hired Rooter Hero or had Patrick, Greg, Tony and Trever not been involving throughout the repair, this situation would have been an absolute nightmare for me and my family. I will be eternally grateful to all of them, and I will definitely use them again next I have any plumbing or other household problems! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Extra Space Storage
6230 Auburn Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95621, United States
Extra Space Storage Citrus Heights, California - Absolutely horrible management. I experienced the same thing as a reviews. Theyre very nice. I explain my needs what I would be doing. I have been bothered and given rules regulations verbally that arent totally the opposite of what I was told before I rented. The worst non-professional. Nothing but lies, harassment, disrespect, threats. I would never recommend anybody to use this place this business. These complaints to the same all over the country. They dont care about their customers, they wont give you any paperwork, there are no rules and regulations except not to follow someone else out without using your gate code, yet they make up the rules as they go along. I say rules, they change the terminology from Rules regulations guidelines even a dress code. Are threatened with eviction. Additionally the access to the storage units is very narrow today. There was three storage for 4 with stuff completely blocking everything and blocking me in. When I try to talk to a manager or CEO or anybody in the company they passed the buck. They change the name of the manager and say, Oh thats the manager from the other building the other unit. Its not worth wasting your time dealing with these people. This company, the employees and management are absolutely horrible after you pay.It will not provide paperwork for my rules and regulations. Even if you asked all they will give is a receipt. Stone end up getting played by these people or this business Extra Space Storage. There should be a class action lawsuit or I will file a lawsuit myself. I have recorded their rudeness also threats also have video. Peoples claim for a lawsuit against this company. Its not just hardship when you leave. But the total lack of giving accurate information guidelines receipts that in itself is not legal. Not alone threats and intimidation harassment and the upset, its unbelievably HORRIBLE!
The Arlo Apartments
6011 Shadow Ln, Citrus Heights, CA 95621, United States
Ive been living here for a few months now. At this time I dont have any major complaints with my apartment or the staff. HOWEVER my complaints are with the people who live above me plus a few other things. I am not sure who was the mastermind behind the setup of these apartments but its not that great. I have a younger couple that lives above me with a small dog and a large dog in which they have no control over. I hear every move they and the dogs make. It sounds like they sit in the house and play catch with the dogs day and night because the dogs run all over that apartment like they are running the fields with the horses. I am not sure the male works because he stomp around that place day and night. I have complained to the leasing office once however, I dont feel they have said anything to the tenants. I believe they have hard floors instead of carpet, like my apartment does. My thing is, why are people with pets allowed to live in a hardwood apartment above someone? I have carpet in my apartment but I do know not all apartments here have carpet. If those people do have carpet and they are still that loud, thats horrible and something needs to be done. Ive had to knock on their door for other things. I am just truly disguised with these people. I think everyone pays too much money in rent and other fees not be comfortable at their place of residence. Of course, everyone does not have this issue. The fitness center is nice. I do feel the staff should notify users that small children should not be allowed. I was there a few days and two women came with 2-3 small children. The children we wild, running around, climbing on the equipment, playing with the equipment and just in the way. I would hate for anything to happen to the children and the parents try to sue. The children were so bad that I left the gym. Ive also been at the gym and have watched people who does not live here come in the gate and ask others walking around to let them inside of the gym. I was there one evening, I saw these unkept guys walk in the gate, ask someone to let them inside of the gym and they came in being loud and aggressive. They did not say anything to me or try to do me harm but I did feel uncomfortable and did not want to give them more of an opportunity to harm me, so again I left the gym. Again, this is not an experience everyone will have.My apartments condition was ok. It could have been cleaned better. The cut out in my stinks are extremely rusted and it gives off a bad smell. One of my bathrooms also have a horrible smell that I cannot get rid of. And when the air is own in my bedroom is also gives off an old musty smell. I have to crack my windows in my bedroom not to feel sick on the stomach from the smell. However with all of that, the apartment or the community is not bad. It is hard to get someone on the phone, if I want to speak with them I always have to stop by. The apartments/community is not great and can stand some improvements but it is not bad. Not sure if I will sign a new lease with the people above me and their pets AND the rent increase, which is unfortunate. I can stand the increase but those people and their dogs is truly a problem.Would I recommend this place? I would. I would just tell that person to be aware of the rent increases, additional $30 for a service we cannot op out of and to try and work with staff to get an apartment where other tenants will disturb them the least. If I knew these people above me had pets, I would have never moved to this apartment. Big dogs, even small dogs can sometimes be a problem and I just hate that I have to deal with these loud uncontrolled animals and they arent even mine.
Montage at Fair Oaks Apartments
12801 Fair Oaks Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610, United States
My fiance and I moved into Montage Apartments back in November 2014. At the time, Montage was offering 3 different options for their apartments; standard, partially renovated and fully renovated. She and I opted for the partially renovated larger 1x1 which was supposed to include brand new carpets, new black appliances and a faux bamboo flooring in the entry, kitchen and bath areas (rent for this apartment was $885 before AUM charges). Prior to her and I moving in we were given a walk through of the apartment we would be receiving and it was noted right away that the carpets were NOT brand new, nor had the apartment received the faux bamboo laminate floors. We were assured repeatedly that these upgrades would take place prior to her and I moving in. No problem, we thought. When our official move-in day arrived, we went to the office and signed all of the paperwork and then went off with an agent to do our move-in walk through. To our surprise the upgrades that we were going to be paying for (new carpet, faux bamboo flooring and new black appliances) still had not been done other than the black appliances in the kitchen. When we brought this to the agents attention she told us she would go speak with the manager and get back to us. When she came back she told us that the manager was out of the office until Monday (this was a Saturday morning) but this would all be resolved then. Again, we didnt think this was an issue and it would be worked out. We couldnt have been more wrong. What we eventually were told that following Monday is that because we were now moved in to the apartment there was nothing that could be done now about the carpets but they would stop by to install the flooring that week. So my fiance and I said that was fine so long as they adjusted our rent to reflect that we now would not have the brand new carpet we were promised on multiple occasions. We were flat out told no and that it basically is what it is. We were, and still are, in shock that a complex as large as this would essentially bait and switch. A year later (October of this year) we receive a rent increase to $975 and that was the final straw for us because our apartment was not worth that price. We received our move out statement today stating that we owe them $290 in cleaning/painting costs. We knew two walls would need touch up paint to cover the tiny nail holes where we had picture frames hanging, but theyre hitting us with $115 in carpet cleaning/repair WHEN WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE BRAND NEW CARPET TO BEGIN WITH! We both spent an entire Saturday cleaning our apartment from top to bottom (literally) to make sure we would have minimal, if any, move-out costs. As mentioned, we knew two walls would need touch up paint for the tiny nail holes and the bottom of our oven needed a harder cleaning than what could be accomplished by hand, but $290 is absolutely absurd (which technically is $390 as they are keeping our $100 security deposit). Take a look at the photos we both took after we cleaned and were officially moved out as well as the photos showing the quality of the carpet.Pros:- Maintenance staff is fantastic. The few times we needed them they were prompt and courteous.- The grounds are kept clean generally (we did notice them actually painting the grass green the day we moved out which was very strange)Cons:- Parking is a nightmare after 4:30pm. This is something that cant really put on Montage as this is just such a large complex which translates to A LOT of vehicles.- Expect to see Citrus Heights police cruisers a couple times a month. Not sure why they were there so often, but it is something to be aware of.- The apartments have horrible insulation and condensation does build up on the interior side of the windows during the winter (which leads to black mold if you arent persistent in keeping them dry). Because of this, our PG&E on average was around $20 and Smud averaged out to about $70 in the Winter and $90 in the summer.- Bait and switch tactics with zero concern once you are signed and moved-in.
