Holt of California Rentals - Roseville, CA

What a great first experience with renting my first large tractor. I needed a D6t bulldozer for whim project within the week. Steven processed the paperwork quickly and before I knew it Steven had the D6 ready a day before I needed it. Delivery and pick-up crew was very professional and friendly. I went in expecting to be turned away from renting a large tractor because of not having an contractor account. The CAT rental crew in Roseville is top notch. I got the dozer and now my mother has a new driveway, shop pad, road, house pad, and a park like trail across her property.A+ experience!

Tool & Truck Rental Center at The Home Depot
10001 Fairway Dr, Roseville, CA 95678, United States
Multiple issues and won't be renting from here again.1. Rental guy was a total jerk at pick up and return. Horrible customer service.2. Trailer came detached from our truck when removing the equipment at our house!! Worker clearly didn't hook up the trailer properly and we're lucky it didn't come detached going down I-80.3. When asked for a quick tutorial on how to use the equipment, the worker said to just “look at YouTube” and was dismissive. Safety definitely not a priority here.4. They started the 4 hour rental time almost 45 minutes before we could even drive out of the parking lot and then had the gall to charge us an extra hour on the rental when we returned it “late”. Wouldn't have been over 4 hours if the worker wasn't so chatty about nonsense and could actually do his job.Next time I'll just go to a local shop to rent.

Caliber Collision
2020 Taylor Rd, Roseville, CA 95678, United States
I always go into a business with the benefit of the doubt, and Caliber Collision was no different. I was promised a couple days short of two weeks for paint work, and parts replacement. I have never had a car in a shop that long for body work, but they were a preferred for USAA and I believed they would take good care of my car and therefore perform good, quality work, on my new car with just over 10 thousand miles. My car was returned late and with a lot of things that were done poorly, some of which include: front inner door panels having broken clips, which caused the panels to not sit flush and secure, and even one of the door speakers to rattle. Too much sealant used on rear cargo area windows that were removed and replaced, which caused the panels to not sit flush with the rest of the interior. Paint or sealant spray on rearview mirror, an aftermarket windshield even with a manufacturer sent memo that stated only factory windshields should be used. Malfunctioning rain sensing wipers after new non-factory windshield and sensor was put in. Fingerprints, dust, dirt all over a light colored headliner. Dust all over interior after delivery. After I called Caliber Collision back to have unsatisfactory work fixed, one of the managers was put in charge of working through and making things right. I was promised a middle of the week, Wednesday completion date, and once again fail to complete the work as quoted by not delivering my car until Friday. I had to call the manager multiple times during the week, and each and every time he told me he would try to get me the car back soon. The second time was for the rain sensing option that quit working on the car, and did not work when it rained. The manager explained to me that USAA or Mazda had sent a bulletin that advised the shops to not use windshields that were not a factory OEM part. Yet, they did the first time when they replaced it. So I asked him, so what does this mean? Does it mean the windshield will need to be replaced? He said “oh no, the windshield is fine, we're only switching out the sensor”. I was confused because he contradicted to what he had previously told me. So they changed the sensor, and it fell off the windshield after a couple days of me picking it up the second time. Finally the third and current time I took the car there, he said that the dealer told him that they had to change the windshield to an OEM one so that the sensor could work correctly. I was under the impression that USAA advised shops to use OEM parts for repair from the start, but I could be wrong. I know that some of the extra time, cost, inconvenience, and frustration could have been saved if they had used the right windshield the first time. The shop has 3 times given me time estimates for work being complete, and all 3 times they have failed to deliver. The original estimate was just over $6,200 and the total charge to the insurance have gone well over $12,000 and in essence doubled. Yet, I've had to go back 3 times and am still currently waiting for my car to be complete. They have not performed anywhere close to what their shop reviews say about them. They do not perform quality, timely, or clean work. They even left swirls on the paint on the rear panel, and in a few areas on the top of the car from a buffer or other equipment. The rear hatch panel that was actually supposed to not even need any work whatsoever. After the last visit, I found broken clips on the rear right tailgate trim panel, and screw caps busted on the top roof cargo rails. From start to finish of the incident occurring in February, to the last visit pickup in June the whole experience was awful. I often travel for work, and have noticed that Caliber has shops in practically every state, sadly they are taking over and buying out good local shops and turning them into franchises with low quality work and service. If you're looking for a shop, I would try a locally owned one before heading here.

Roseville Kia
110 Automall Dr, Roseville, CA 95661, United States
I was going to leave well enough alone but kia roseville keeps bugging me to send a review, so here it is. First, the sorrento they sold me brand new 7 months ago is 9k dollars under water. They offered to buy it back for 23k, which is 14k less than what I owe. I guess this is how much they think about their own product. Took it in for its first service and on the way there my car lost all its coolant. I informed them of this and eventually they recommended replacing the radiator for just under 1500 dollars. I decided I would just buy the radiator and put it in myself, because it wasnt covered under the warranty, and Im not willing to pay someone a thousand dollars to do what I can do myself. I went to pay for the oil change and they said it was $330? They wanted to charge me 220 dollars to diagnose my radiator problem. I dont think its fair to charge someone to just agree with them. I went in telling them the problem. They did wave the charge and my oil change was only $120. I went to the parts counter to buy the radiator and the guy said they didnt have one in stock? Weird because they were just going to replace the radiator for 1500. I had my car towed from kia roseville and I left. I didnt believe they didnt have a radiator so I called back later and just asked for it over the phone. The guy said he had to check to see if he had one in stock. He came back to the phone and said yes he had one and would hold it in will call for me. What? I drove back and went to the parts counter asking why they lied to me? The guy said his manager didnt want to sell the radiator to me because I had choice words with him about the inferior product I was sold. I ended up buying it and installing it in about 4 hours. I found a piece of porcelain in the bumper that came through the radiator and caused the damage. The reason is because the size of the openings on the bottom of the front facade. They are so big that the radiator and the ac condenser are completely exposed to road. I recommend changing the design because this will be more and more common. Any kia sorrento owners out there that have had to replace their radiator? I went out and bought a fine mesh metal screen and lined the inside of the plastic bumper so nothing can errintley fly in and take out the radiator or God forbid the ac condenser. I implore everyone that reads this to never buy a kia product, and for some reason you have to, dont go to kia roseville. They will sell you an inferior product that will be overpriced and holds no value while you own it. There you kia, you got your review. I had to give them a one star rating or I couldnt post my review?

Olympus Park Apartments

Me and my family moved in and took over another families lease which had a remaining of close to 4 months on it. (now i know why that family was in such a hurry and desperate need to get out of there!!!) The office smiled in our faces, had no problem getting us approved and we moved in just days later. While there we had mold issues, constantly experiencing fowl smells coming from the sinks, sewage directly in front of our door and the paint bubbled up twice around the ac vent that I reported a few times however they only came out once to fix it and didnt do it right because it bubbled up again shortly after!!! Two months before it was time for us to renew the lease, they stuck a letter on our door letting us know that they would love to keep us and that the rent would be raised of course!! We always paid our rent on time and other than having to report the problems that we did (that were NEVER ADDRESSED) we were good tenants. But all of a sudden a month before the lease was up they stuck a new note on our door saying that they will not be renewing our lease!!!! I immediately went down to the office to ask why and the office personnel just smiled in our faces and said she could not givr us a reason and good luck! Mind you also that i was almost 7 months pregnant!! So we immediately starting looking for places! After about the 4th place that denied us, several application fees later, we found out why we were being denied. One if the complexes filled us in on the crap that olympus park apartments was telling people!!! When some one would call them to verify our last residence..... They lied and tild them that we were given a 2 month notice to vacate the property!!!!! Lies!!! They not only gave us no reason on as to why we could not renew the lease (at 30 days! Not 2 months) but they were trying to screw our chances of moving our family to a new home!! And to top it off..... The very day after we moved out.... My mother in law went into the office not more than 12 hours after turning in the mail key to ask if she could check the mail one more time and the main blondy told her no! Then proceeded to walk outside and instruct the mail lady not to let us in the mail box or give us anything!!!! Rude! This place was the worst place to live in! My car was broken into, smells, loud parties nightly, dog poop in grassy areas, mold, child molester next to pool whom had no problem coming out to chat with children, tweakers outside all hours of night and day, office staff was very unprofessional and snotty. I wouldnt even recommend my worst enemy to live in this dump! I feel sorry for families trying to look for a safe place to raise their kids, people with allergies.... Etc. Reports have been made to a couple agencies already and I hope the place gets straightened up or closed down for the safety of the public. Oh and FYI.... we found a nice 2 bed 2 bath, small community and people who run the place are great! We went through hell but we made it :)
