U-Haul Moving & Storage of Fullerton

I am so frustrated with Uhaul right now and may never use them again. We booked our July move in March, scheduling the Uboxes to be loaded 3 weeks ahead of time so that they could be delivered on time to our destination. Since then, I got a new credit card and wanted to change my payment method. It took me 3 calls and an hour and a half of hold time to change the card, and when they put the charges on the new card they double charged $445 and I had to contest the charges with my credit card company. The loading delivery was 5.5 hours late, meaning we had to reschedule the moving help for the next day so that we could get the boxes loaded (we managed to get loaded and picked up on time). After the boxes were picked up, I got an email saying that delivery to our destination was going to be 2 days late. I have called twice, and the first time I spent my whole lunch break on hold, and no one could even tell me the reason for the delay. Today, my second call, I was told that the shipping company was late picking the order up, but there is nothing that Uhaul can do to make sure the order arrives on time (even though there are still 12 days left until the original delivery date). If the delivery is late, we will have to reschedule moving help for the second time in one move, and my family who had cleared their schedules to help us move into our new place likely wont be able to help us anymore. I was told if it is late we will be compensated $50 -- for a $3500 move! The amount of stress this has added to my life cant be measured. I would gladly pay $5000 for a moving company that will deliver on their promises, or even make an effort to help me when I call their customer service line.

BAIT AND SWITCH IS A CRIME.This facility sells and confirms 24hr access self storage rentals, without any mention of possible requirements to purchase, yet has no intention in providing the buyer with a 24hr access storage.I went on line and rented a storage unit from this location based on the 24hr access that was advertised by them. I paid on line and received my confirmation from u-haul of my 24hr access unit. After moving into the unit the very friendly manager came by to introduce himself and make certain to go over the general basic rules with us. Access to the unit was now only available till 10pm. When we questioned about the 24hr access we had purchased we were told that wouldnt be possible and no 24hr access was available. We were told the advertisement/confirmation hadnt been updated in their system to reflect the change but it was no longer an option. 24HR ACCESS IS THE REASON I CHOOSE TO RENT HERE. IF I WANTED LIMITED HOURS I COULD RENT NEXT TO MY HOUSE INSTEAD OF THE NEXT CITY OVER. We did receive a refund but this whole thing really is wrong.... And illegal

Spent weeks trying to diagnose and repair my truck (2011 LML) believing I was having an electrical issue and that it was not related to mechanical failure. While I'm very capable, transmissions are very unfamiliar to me (especially ones as complex as Allison). I had pulled the pan twice, drove to Victorville for and replaced the internal harness, found and replaced the TCM for $2,000, and was still having issues. I felt so defeated having spent all my free time under my truck for a few weeks and thrown money during hard times at things that didn't fix the issue. I called Evan for help at Inglewood Transmission and never knew him nor did he know me prior to our conversation. I explained what I had done, the issues I was having, etc. in which Evan spent nearly an hour on the phone with me helping figure out the problem (when most shops would just jump to it being worst case scenario or say bring it in). Evan took the time to help me, not knowing if he'd even get a dollar from the conversation. The conversation lead to him believing the clutches were toast and he offered an explanation of how it all worked and that the symptoms the truck was displaying was synonymous with the mechanical failure. While the price was high it was straight forward and I firmly believe you get what you pay for. Being financially in a pinch and knowing I had already thrown money at things that weren't the problem, I was weary but chose to trust the new “Allison King” ad they called the prior owner Mike. Evan worked with me getting the truck in and out quickly, he had my trucks transmission rebuilt and upgraded to their 750 build in less than 6 hours. The cherry on top is knowing our truck is a lifeline for my family in the snow instead of making me wait until Monday Evan stayed after hours ON A FRIDAY NIGHT nearly an hour and a half so that I could pick the truck up and stuck around for some conversation (even showing me the fried clutches). I would recommend anyone looking look no further. I felt very taken care of and feel as though I would be if anything happened again. Great shop, straight shooter kind of guy. I had a 10/10 experience here. Shop is Allison specialty but not limited to only Allison's. Still recommend calling to consult if you have a 68RFE, Aisin, 4L80, etc. as they may still be able to help. Thanks Evan, you're much appreciated.

Took my tire for them to check it since it has a slow leak. Mechanic was on break so we waiting for 10min. When he got back, he didnt really seem all to eager to help. He grabbed a bottle of water and soap and drizzled it all over the tire and he couldnt find anything wrong until I identified the issue. Placed wheel face down on the concrete. Scratched my wheel and couldnt find the leak until I pointed it out. Told me it was not repairable. Gave him 10 dollars for his time. Didnt know it was scratched until I came home. Wouldnt recommend.
Americas Tire

Last year, around this time, I had gotten a set of new tires for my car. Service and everything felt like 5 stars until this evening. I had gone in for a flat tire with a tire rotation and rebalancing. I thought to myself, hey, 2 birds, 1 stone right? I met Luis, one of the service coordinators in the lobby. He is great and deserves 5 stars, but the technicians outside were a let down. The first time I went in was a couple of days ago to fix my flat. It turned out there was irreparable damage as I was told, and the patch still leaked air, so I went home and ordered a new tire to be delivered and installed there this evening. By the way, I wasnt even worried that they forgot to rotate and rebalance my tires the first time I was there a couple of days ago. I was more concerned about time loss and doing the claim process for a reimbursement. After confirming my appointment, I checked in with Luis again this evening. He was very pleasant and professional. A couple days ago, Luis was kind enough to lend me a loaner tire until I can come back for my replacement tire. He did say earlier tonight when I told him I felt bad about keeping the loaner too long, but he said I could have kept it as long as I needed until I return from my trip because my safety was his concern.Being a very keen person, I noticed everything. So when my turn came up, which is already an hour after arrival and the completion time had passed, a couple of customers who came well after me started getting serviced. I knew right then I was passed over and forgotten about, so I spoke up about it, but of course I was treated as if I stole something and was asked for a receipt and if I had an appointment. After finally getting service, I mentioned I also had a tire rotation and rebalancing included. So when waiting right by the chairs outside next to my car in the first car port, I noticed they didnt do the rotation. I got up immediately and went to ask the guy about it as he was lowering my car which indicated he was seemingly done with just the one tire I went in for to be replaced. He was a bit disingenuous in his reply and body language and said, oh its already done. Then said he will talk to the manager or one of the older head guys in the bay there. I went up to my front right wheel since I know there is a red mark there and lo and behold, he had lied about it because the red mark is still there meaning there was no tire rotation done. After a minute, the head guy said, yea, lets just do it, itll be quick. And a couple of guys went to help do the tire rotation. I was just happy to get out of there and was disappointed in the experience overall. When I got home, I went through the brochure Luis gave me the other day on my first visit which stated the TIPS TO IMPROVE TIRE LIFE AND SAFETY. and in bold print, Every 6,000-8,000 Miles or as Needed, Rotate and Rebalance tires Free at Americas Tire, Visit Americas Tire for a tire rotation and REBALANCE to promote even treadwear and a smooth ride. So at this moment, I was beginning to get upset and went online to research tire rotation and balancing and said to myself, dumb me, I didnt call them out on the balancing part which I read can be dangerous and damaging to the suspension. After this experience, I dont think I would trust this place because they dont care about doing the job right the first time and therefore jeopardizing your safety, your loved ones, as well as other drivers and pedestrians on the road. They did shoddy work even when you are literally a few feet away. Not to mention, leaving white marks on the cars paint that I had to clean. Ive already wasted 2 days of travel since Im driving long distance to visit my family this Christmas. Now I will have to waste even more time tomorrow to get the tires balanced correctly before I can risk driving my car again.Hopefully, the new place will do better. To the potential customers, my advice to you is do your due diligence when getting any kind of service there. To Americas Tire on S Euclid St.,Please do better.
Auto Republic Fullerton

The reason why Im giving two stars meh. Ive experienced better. I just purchased a BMW X3 from Auto Republic, beautiful car...looks like no one has ever sat in it. However when I was at the dealer (that I drove 3 hours to because I am not from the area) the sales man started the car for us and we listened to the engine everything sounded good BUT when we turned the car off there was a sound that seemed to come from the engine under the drivers seat...it was a clicking/ grinding sound. We brought it up to the sales man and he claimed to not have heard the sound (maybe he didnt but it was pretty dang loud so Im not sure how he didnt hear it) and we were told that it was nothing.... so we turned it back on and turned off to see if we could make the sound happen again, unfortunately the sound didnt happen again so we thought the sales man was telling us the truth. We ended up buying the car and mistakenly we bought it as is because we took their word for it when we were told it was nothing. As I was driving home and stopped at the gas station the sound happened again, so I did some research.... turns out its the transfer case actuator that is going out, so I did some more research and found out it will cost around $1,200 to have it replaced. After talking to a mechanic we were told this isnt something that just happens over night and the mechanic said that it is very unlikely that the dealership didnt hear it and was probably aware of the problem. So 48 hours after I bought the car I emailed Auto Republic about the problem and not one response, so I sent another email and again no response... I than called and asked to speak with the manager but was told he busy so I explained the problem to the gentleman who answered the phone and he said he would let his manager know and have his manager call me back. I got a call the next morning from the salesman who sold us the car and he admitted I do remember you guys bringing up this problem when you were here so same thing he said he would have to talk to his manager, I still have not heard from the manager ( I have asked to speak to the manager multiple times but every time I was told he busy and would call back.) Very long story short, this problem that we brought up there and was told it was nothing is now going to cost me $1,2000. The least the dealership could do is to offer to pay half of it for it to be fixed OR even just give me a call back to show that they care about their customers but I guess I was expecting too much. OHHH and one last thing, my parents were actually thinking about buying a car from them as well but after this experience they will not be doing business with them.
