** 24 July 2018 **I just called for rates, I waiting 6-8 minutes before a female answered the phone. I was asked for detailed information on what I was doing and where. After mentioning that I only wanted prices and not a reservation, she explained that she needed all this information to generate prices. After I said to make it up, Im only helping a friend, and that I could understand being denied a rental if my vehicle was determined unable to safely tow a car trailer,, I was placed on hold so she could get the price... another 6-8 minutes and someone else answered the phone. I explained that someone was working on a price for me, this girl went straight to the point and got me a price but explained that some days have different rates....car dolly - $ 44 a daycar trailer - $ 54 a day...Since I was passing the area, 5-10 minutes later I stopped by to see how busy they were. 1 person on his cell at the corner of the showroom, no acknowledgement of my presence. 1 person in garage under a customers vehicle, busy. 1 person in a rental truck, talking to customer somewhat unavailable ... no acknowledgement of my presence.~~~~if you have 20 minutes just to get a price, heres the place to call. Busy..? then dont waste your time..!!

Joel is just a remarkable Christian person who helped me out tremendously with my move. I needed a UHaul trailer and not only did he help me make a reservation, and then help me to adjust the reservation, he made sure that I had all of the proper equipment to tow and inspected my SUV to make sure it would work out. This was all even without me actually getting the trailer from his location in the end (due to my reservation needs). Horrible! I normally rent equipment from the Madera store and its great. But because some of my clients are in Merced, I rent equipment from this store. They have a bunch of unscrupulous salespeople at the counter. Then when it comes to service, they have some very aggressive, rude, and incompetent technicians to make your rental experience worse. Theres a technician named Bob, who is someone you want to avoid. The equipment they rent from this location arent often well maintained. And this would and could translate into problems for you as a customer. They also can be very tricky (scamming?) about billing. Theyd first lead you on thinking that youd be charged a certain amount. Then when it comes to the check-in time, you may be shocked by additional changes on your final bill! I would NOT recommend this store. There are alternatives in Merced.

OHV's were in perfect condition easy & fun to use didn't have a single problem. The fact that you can rent a trailer from them as well makes it convenient. They also have reasonable prices. Owners were extremely kind & easy to communicate with. Will be renting again soon! Highly recommend renting from them to have a fun time with family & friends.

Small, reasonable fee for appliance removal, they come right away to pick up the trailer, they work around your schedule and offer different sizes of trailers for rental. Customer service is great too with quick pick-up. I highly recommend Mammoth Dump!

Despite what they say they dont professionally move pool tables. I needed a table to be moved and called these guys. Jamie the owner said they move pool tables and would charge $350 including disassembled, reassembled and balancing the table at the new location. Thats about the average price I was quoted and seemed fair. When they came to move the table they decided not to disassemble and just move it in one piece. I asked them if thats the correct way to move it and they said yes it would be easier just to move it in one piece. They brought the table to the new location and moved it in set it down and drop the ball on the table from about 6 in up and said there you go thats balanced. Im no professional mover but what I was told was disassembly and reassembly. when I started playing on the table it seemed a little off I checked the balance with a carpenters level and the table was off. Did a little searching online and they are supposed to using machinist level to balance this thing out and it should never be moved in one piece because you risk breaking the slate. I called up the owner and asked for a small refund because although they didnt do it correctly they still moved it. Said he would call me back and never did. Called another company to get new felt and bumpers and explained the whole situation and they said they would rebalance the correct way with a machinist level and that they should have never moved in one piece. They quoted me the same price as Jamie or California movers did.

My experience with Merced Chevrolet was outstanding! Uncle Bob is a great and relatable sales person, at no point in time did he pressure me into the sale, he let me guide the interaction and answered any questions I had, with an abundance of knowledge!Not only did things go smoothly in the sales department, but the Finance Manager, Junior, made signing the millions of documents fun and enjoyable. He explained every document throughly, as this was my first ever car purchase, and ease me through my new buyer anxiety!Had quite a few laughs, smiles and handshakes, they even encouraged my young daughter to ring the (deal closed) bell after I had already rang it!The only suggestion I would have is, if possible, to switch all the document signing to an electronic format. There is so many papers used during the process, switching to electronic signing would truly save some trees!EDIT:I actually went in recently to trade in my Jeep for a 2022 Chevy Trailblazer, and, again, Uncle Bob was an absolute treasure! Never pushy, and stayed with me through the entire process ensuring my comfort all along the way!There were many people involved in my special situation, and I'd like to give them all shout outs! Thank you to Junior, Efren, Phil and Andrew!I always have such a pleasant experience working with Merced Chevrolet! I would dream of going anywhere else.
