Good service. The one guy in the lot hooking up our trailer seemed annoyed however. Rental went smooth until our tire blew in the middle of nowhere Nevada. Luckily the roadside assistance helped us once we got ahold of them. Overall, decent experience. Too bad its still stupid expensive to rent equipment going one way out of CA. The mass exodus of people from the disaster state has caused those prices to skyrocket from where they once were.

I called to make the appointment to install a trailer hitch and brake controller ... the sales person I spoke with did not understand the difference between a flat four connector and a 7 pin connector ... so after explaining why I needed the 7 pin the sales slip I received in an email still said 4 pin and no controller .... I called right back and spoke with the sales person from my previous call then he handed me off to an installer...,who got it and specd what I needed; but I never received a new email confirmation....a week later my daughter makes the 1.5 hour trip for our appointment ... only to be told the hitch did not come in and they dont have time anyway... I had an appointment... they should have called.. so we set another appointment for a week later.. my daughter gets there and calls me because theyre trying to tell her I ordered a 4 pin connector ... she is not a professional trailering expert like the Techs an U Haul but she knows what she needs ..I also had told them she would be waiting for the truck ... one hour install .. she waited 4hrs ...,billed 1 hour install.. because thats all it took.. so I get home after work and omg .. they put a well used 7 pin connector on the truck and drilled a hole through the step on the bumper to put one of the two required mounting bolts .. so the head of the bolt is under the bumper and there is 3/4 of bolt and nut sticking up through the bumper on the step ... so if you step on the step you get a bolt through your foot .. theyre completely inept .. go anywhere else these are not experts theyre hacks. No management or oversight .. I should have canceled my appointment the first time they messed up my order.

Horrible customer service. The woman was manner-less, impolite, extremely Rude, and discourteous. She was friendly to the man in front of me and went to bring his rental to the front for him. However, when it was my time to receive customer service from her... it was the opposite. Poor communication and when she just TOLD me where my rental was, which I couldnt find, she grew more snappy with me when I asked where exactly it was. She said to me, its between the two vans! Its a truck you can see it! Keep in mind the whole lot had vans and being a first time customer there I had no idea what was going on. She walked out with a attitude and pointed it to me in a second row and said to me cant you see I had no clue what her issue was with me I wasnt rude to her and thought I would get the same service as the man in front of me. Iv had a bad day at work too before so I wont mention her name that starts with a *D* but she should be more mindful when customers can see how you treat the person in front of them. Customer service is tough. I wont use this location for services again.

I was so pleased to have such a friendly, helpful, kind person such as Nancy, to assist with my relocation to Wisconsin!

I am so grateful for everyone at this office, especially John Hayes. I was in a really bad accident last year while traveling from Slo to Salinas for work. A car came across the grass center divider on the 101 freeway and I ran into him head on. I broke my left femur and suffered injuries to my neck, back and face. They made sure I never had to deal with any doctor or hospital bills. They were able to get the other drivers insurance company to settle for the full amount of the policy within 6 months, and the only reason it took that long is Mr. Hayes wanted to make sure I had fully recovered before settling.If you are in a car accident, your first call needs to be to this office. Neither your insurance company or the other drivers insurance company are there to help you. They are in business to make money for their shareholders. Their #1 job is to convince you to take the least amount of money possible, not give you anything at all and to delay, delay, delay so you'll settle for next to nothing because you just need something so you can pay your bills.

I cannot say enough about these guys. I have never asked for help to haul stuff away. My turn for the all to familiar first time for everything. Im nothing special. Like most people, money is tight. Even though this was not a huge job I figure every little bit helps. I wanted to give my business to a local company. After researching and learning the hard way around the hauling world I found Cedric and the guys. Other places I quoted were professional, and polite yes. They were unrealistically high priced for my request and one even tried to finagle me on pricing. When I made the phone call to see if Affordable Hauling could even help me, I knew it would be good. The phone call was actually fun. That was a new one for me. Cedric was very understanding of my situation. Even though there are to many of us struggling, he still was able to help me. I felt like an individual and not a dollar sign. He gave me a fair price, a time, and a good laugh. Cant beat any of that during these times. Win-Win-Win all the way around!!

If I could give no stars I would. Mark Francis is the worst attorney! Do not hire him especially if you are of color. He is racist and he will not get you what your case is worth. He is a very lazy attorney and he will not negotiate your case. He will tell you to take the first offer and he will arrange it so you have to pay workmans comp back for any payments they LOANED to you as he would put it. If you want proof of what im saying you can email me and Ill show you paper work about his work. He totally screwed me and my family over and he is a devil in a cheap suit... Literally! I wish I couldve seen through his scandalous nature but I did not until it was too late. This man will destroy case! I have two other people who can validate my story and their own with him. He also had me sign a document that closed my case out so that the only justice that I will ever get is when he dies or something bad happens to him or someone he loves. I know it sounds harsh but this man knew that my daughter died a month after he took my case and he knew I needed money and he did this to my family and I without losing a minute of sleep. He is a very rude man and if you value yourself and family, do NOT hire this man.

When I started looking for movers for our upcoming move (just across town), I reached out to a half dozen companies in Sonoma County for quotes. Emily with Fresh Start Movers was the first to give me a call to talk about our move, what we had, come up with a quote, and to tell me about Fresh Start Movers process and way of doing things. I was impressed that they wrap your furniture at no additional charge, they will assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture, put door jam protectors up, roll out a floor protector, insurance was standard and included, etc...Ultimately all of the quotes from every company came in within $200-300 of each other, but the difference was clear.Other companies didnt tell me about how much they care about protecting our belongings like Fresh Start Movers did.Other companies didnt talk about protecting my home, my door jams, door, and floors like Fresh Start Movers did.Other companies wanted to charge extra for insurance.Other companies didnt want to wrap our mattresses, instead other companies wanted us to purchase mattress bags (which are pricey) -- Fresh Start Movers saved us money by just wrapping them at no extra charge.Other companies werent interested in getting an accurate accounting of what we had to move, and some just wanted to base their quote on the size of home....and, I could go on. Needless to say, we went with Fresh Start Movers.The day of our move we received a text message when the crew was on their way. From the moment they arrived, Kyle and crew took incredible care in handling our move. They started out by putting up protectors on our front door and door jams. They then meticulously wrapped all furniture in blankets and cellophane. They were quick and total professionals in loading up all of our furniture and boxes.One thing I wanted to highlight, they moved two custom built wood working cabinets full of bolts, fasteners, and other hardware... Each probably weigh in the 400-600lb range and are just awkward enough to move, that I knew they would be a challenge to move myself... These guys made quick work of it with their lift gate.Once at our new place they once again put up the protectors on our door, door jam, and rolled out a red floor protector. Unloading went quite quick and helped put together all of our furniture again.From start to finish, Fresh Start Movers were an absolute pleasure to work with and went a step beyond other movers. I cannot recommend them enough and, next time we move, they will be my only call.
