U-Haul Moving & Storage of Midway

My first review is for the manager Aaron. When I came in to check in for my ubox reservation. Aaron was quick to call me to his window as soon as I walked in. He was quick, efficient. During my move, I realized I needed more space and had to rent another ubox. There were several errors made from the Uhaul departments with pricing and reservation but Aaron quickly took ownership and made things right. He didn't hesitate to make sure I was beyond satisfied. Although I wasn't happy with the overall price. Having Aaron on the team made things an amazing experience. With leadership like his this location will be one that I recommend every time. Aaron deserves all of the recognition he can get!My second review is for Nevin. When I returned my first Ubox, Nevin helped me check it in and got my second one loaded up. He offered to drive the truck and hitch it so that it was more convenient (awesome!). Once we got inside, he asked when I plan to bring the second Ubox back. I told him was trying to get both back the same day but it was already 5pm and I was told that's when you close storage. He didn't hesitate to offer me to come back as late as 6:30 to drop it off if I could make it. Another example of Aaron's leadership and his team going out of their way to help me out. Thanks Nevin! My last review is for Anthony.Anthony was a little intimidating at first. Understandably so because his recent customer interaction was difficult(which he handled very calmly and professionally). However, he was so helpful and patient with me. I was trying to clear up some issues from the Uhaul group. He took his time to make sure he was doing everything correctly for me. Instead of making me wait, he got things rolling and assured me that he'd have Aaron his manager take a look and make things right. They definitely went above and beyond.Moving is stressful enough as it is. It helps to have helpful people while you're doing it though. The team at midway are some of the best I've had the pleasure of being helped by. Make the drive if you have to and it will be well worth your time and money.

Staff are very nice, helpful and professional. Storage units are priced better than other storage facilities. Units are very clean and fairly lit. Carts are always available. Restroom is fairly clean.

I can not speak more highly of this business and the service they provide. Leo answered all of my pre-purchase questions immediately, quoted me a good price for the trailer/dumpster rental, delivered it on time and picked it up within an hour of my phone call telling him I was done. And Leo is the nicest guy youll ever meet. I HIGHLY recommend OC Cleanup & Hauling.

Extra Space Storage
7392 Garden Grove Blvd, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
This first half is for the customer service. Kim Buchanan-Coleman, the on-site manager, made my entire rental experience a very smooth & pleasant one. She explained everything in detail, answered all my questions and showed me the property before I signed up. Every time that I showed up with some kind of need, she accommodated me with a smile - even when she was getting ready for lunch. Oh! She even walks the grounds to check up on everything. A great example of genuine customer service! This second half is for the facility itself. I rented with Public Storage before & it just got scary, dirty, unkept, etc. When I found Extra Space Storage just down the street, I was thrilled. After a tour of the facility & the units I was looking to rent, I knew this was my new place to store. The grounds are kept clean, clutter-free. The storage units are clean. There are no holes in the walls. No signs of any kind of infestation like there was at the other place. There are pull dollies on every elevator to help with transporting your stuff from your car to your unit. Every hallway is lighted for safety. Theres even music playing. Every time I come here, I dont feel scared or nervous because of what might lurk on the grounds or in the units.Overall, an ideal place for storing my things with peace of mind. Close by. Clean. Congenial staff. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for a storage company!

CubeSmart Self Storage
6491 Maple Ave, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
I just took a unit here today. Dolly and Ryan were wonderful to deal with getting into the unit. They were friendly, efficient, and helpful. I have one very small issue with the $22 administrative fee. It sort of makes free first month or half-price for three months untrue. I also dont care for the mandatory insurance: Some have homeowners policies that will cover their stored items. In my case, my storage items are not particularly valuable. I think CubeSmart (and the other storage places) are just taking extra profit by requiring their insurance. In spite of the admin fee and mandatory insurance, the total price was excellent. After a full search of about 20 storage facilities in the area, this CubeSmart location had the lowest price I could find. Total cost for my 4x6 was only $50 to get in, $30 for the next two months, then $50 thereafter ... those figures include the insurance and the admin fee. They gave me a great deal. They are at least $10 less per month than the next lowest cost facility, and often they looked to be a full $20 less than other facilities, where I would have been asked to pay $70 per month in total charges.

Ryans Auto Repair
15081 Moran St, Westminster, CA 92683, United States
Please dont go to this place took my money didnt fix my problem and created more problems for my car.I have a rav4 2012 4wd with 140k miles mostly freeway miles, with dealer serviced. Did an two inches lifts from northwoodperformace.com (best one in market). I had vibration at speed 20-25 mph and it stopped after that. I took to Ryan, he did a little test drive and said it needed to replace both axels and charged $400 with $100 discount since he didnt fix the problem. I decide to give him one more chance and he continue to replace lower arm control and charged $360 for both, then the vibration still there then I asked him to change lower ball joint passenger side he didnt charge me for this. I went to the trip to Vegas and half way there it kinda make noise on the driver when i go 80mph then i stopped and check it looked fine then i went to vegas and broke, the black liquid came out splash all over the wheels. Then had to rent a trailer ($200) to for my friend to tow it to the shop to fix. he fixed it for free however it came out alot more problem now, noise came from the back when i rolling to the red light speed 20-25, and the front driver tire hit the fender when I did a full turn. (It didnt happened before) and the vibration problem is still there. This place was close to my and good review but nooo this place should have change to Ryans auto replace. the dude dont even take time to diagnose the problem and gave judgment right away. And he dare to took my money. please dont go to this place it busy and no spaces. Warranted great, they fix my leak cv axel for free

Garden Grove Park

Great amount of dogs usually .alot of regulars for the most part i have had great experiences but there was an issue with a little 5 or 6 yr old girl that brought her mastiff pit mix puppy to the small dog section after being kicked out of the big dog section for causing fights! Doesnt take rocket science to assume he would have done the same in the small dog park! That puppy attacked at least three small dogs as i was leaving and when the girl was asked to get her dog she just STOMPED on the dragging leash to stop the puppy mid lunge...I dont understand how some adults could be careless enough to let a child roam around alone with an undisciplined dog. I guess people dont understand that they would be responsible to cover medical fees if their dog causes serious physical harm to another dog ??

Los Alisos Estates

I lived in a unit for a year with my spouse. Spoiler alert, it was overall a terrible experience. We saw some negative reviews before moving in (that they hadn't deleted yet) regarding their “shady” practices in taking as much money as they could from you, and how they are cheating you with the utilities. Regretfully, we didn't listen. Please listen to this one. They will charge you astronomical amounts for your utilities! To the point it is comical. The first month will be really low, and they will continue to increase by hundreds. DO NOT be fooled by the solar panels, they are pocketing the money. While this is speculation, I think they tack on the payment for the solar panels too. If you ask for the bill from Edison, they will give you the run around. The leasing office staff will give you misinformation all the time. Do not trust them. Whether it is intentional or they are not trained properly… I don't know. Example: We asked the leasing office (multiple times multiple people) if they would tow our car in the fire lane if we left it for no longer than 15 minutes. They said there's a strict policy to knock on the door to notify you to move before they would call the tow truck. Well they towed my mother in laws car after being there less than 15 minutes. They never knocked, and the security guard Jose argued, and said that he didn't need to notify and any amount of time is means to tow.Example 2: before moving out, we were diligent about obtaining all the information needed for a smooth transition. After our inspection, we never received an itemized list of repairs. So we painted and cleaned every single inch (even stuff we did not do). Well they charged almost 900$ for cleaning and 1500$ for painting. No surprise, our property manager OWNS THE CLEANING COMPANY. After asking for photos of what was so expensive to fix (we thankfully took our own before moving out), they charged us for a bad spackling job that was there BEFORE we moved in. THANKFULLY we had a video to prove this, the first month we moved in. We also argued the cleaning charge because the unit was less than 1400SQF and we had photo video proof that it was spotless.Additionally, we talked to staff before moving out and were told the charges for utilities and rent on the portal did not need to be paid and were automatic (because obviously the lease was up). Well, that was a lie. They tacked on double the charges for utilities out of our security deposit (more than we had ever paid). After giving them the California civil code stating this was illegal, they spoke to their attorney, reformatted the utility charges (essentially making them “unpaid”) so its technically legal, and lied stating that we could've paid them at any time by check at the office. Idk if I explained this well. I have numerous more examples, but in short it will give you a headache living here. They will do anything to take money out of your pocket and lie to your face. For us, we are deliberating if we want to take this to small claims court, because I'm sure we would win.
