I had an International FL60 go down last Friday, and we had customers waiting on their product to be delivered. I got in touch with Lee in the service department and he was able to help me get the truck lined up for repair at his shop. Lee and his team had the truck fixed within 1 day and arranged someone at the store to be there on Saturday so my driver could pick the truck up. We were able to get the customers materials out on Saturday and be prepared for Monday morning!Thank you guys!

Service sucks. I tried calling to find out when a part was arriving to service a truck but could never get a call back. I left 3 messages in a span of 3 weeks. They also said they would send an email with description of what was going to be ordered and the approximate delivery date, that email never came through. Don't know what's going on with their service staff but I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone.

This location saved me! Truly thankful!!! I made a reservation with Budget off of Broadway for a truck rental, when I showed up they said they had called me that morning (which they didnt, no missed call or voice-mail) to let me know they were trying to find a truck for me in LA and if I can pick it up tomorrow. They also had the wrong pick up time listed. I couldnt wait because thats the point of a reservation, to move when everything is scheduled so I had to scramble to find a truck. The lady was not helpful at all. I will never use Budget again, I cant understand how that location is still open. U-Haul however will continue to get my business. The truck runs great, plus its over $150 cheaper. Thank you again!

Budget Truck Rental

When will corporate do something about Budget in Santa Maria? The broadway office was unavailable during its opening operating hour. This is an apparent trend with this office. Customer service stated wait two more minutes as the agent gets their late, the time was already 745 AM and they did not want to transfer the request to the Santa Maria airport terminal (SMX) office because it was too much work for him. Wife had to speak to a supervisor to make a change.When my wife finally gets to the SMX office they don't have any vehicles with gps and all their units were broken. To slap insult to injury they recommended going back to the broadway office to get a working unit rather than reimburse the additional cost. The counter agent said to either take the broken unit, get a new one from broadway office, or call to get reimbursed because they can't reimburse from their end. Who does this to their customers? Avoid Budget Car Rental services at all cost!

Two excellent experiences with staff at the Santa Maria offices of Enterprise Truck Rental over the past couple months. I found it most refreshing to be treated like valued customer rather than like a middle-aged, 5-foot/2-inch tall female customer renting a 24-foot stakebed with Tommy rail gate lift... No questions, no trying to talk me into a smaller vehicle, no unsolicited advice. Enterprise staff gave me succinct instructions as to the lift mechanism, handed me the keys and I was off. 2 minutes later my female co-worker and I decided that we gotta get us one of these! Awesome truck, comfortable and fun to drive with a killer lift! My 85-year old mom rented the high-roof cargo van last month. Enterprise conducted business with her as if she were a 45-year old male contractor who rented from them regularly ... all straight-forward business with apt respect. Have rented several box trucks from other local agencies in the past. I would no longer consider renting from anyone other han Enterprise! Great prices, great vehicles, great service!

This review is for Manager Nicholas Clark. My company had an issue with our account being on hold. I went through several penske districts and higher ups nationwide and begged that they hear me out regarding a mistake that occurred within Penskes system, all of the other reps I spoke to gave me the quick heartless and carless we cant help you robot like treatment and passed me on to a corporate email, that never replied dating back moths. After speaking to over 20 different Penske reps Nicholas stood by me as a client and followed through despite higher ups maybe advising him not to talk to me and to not look deeper into the situation. As a client you want to be heard when mistakes happen and supported. Nicholas deserves a raise and a promotion for doing what he did and being patient enough to hear and understand my concern. I cant say Im fully happy with my status as a customer because of the hoops I had to jump through to find someone caring enough like Nicholas. Thank you Nicholas.

UPDATE: JANUARY 2024There are a lot of drug addicts that come and go into the storage units and hang out in the bathroom or right outside of it. The automatic door lets anyone inside, please be careful choosing to store your things here. Very grateful that I am no longer needing to utilize this storage service at this location.ONE YEAR PRIOR:My experience has up until today has been well. I was not informed about the new entrance nor key card I was supposed to have. I went through the back as I have done since renting this storage. I found something had leaked into my unit, I called several- several times and never reached the desk. I flagged down an IT guy who helped me by calling the office. The guy who came to help was extremely friendly and kind. I started to leave and realized I had forgot to unload quite a bit of things. So I drove around and asked how do I get back in because the door I normally use won't open from the outside now. I'm abruptly told you need a card and to use the entrance, I responded I was never informed about this change and proceeded to get a card. I'm given a card, So I'm driving once again to the new entrance only to find my card does not work. I try calling again several times, cannot reach the desk the call buttons on the card keypad don't work so I walk around this construction fencing back inside wait in line and tell them my card does not work. The blonde girl with the double nose piercing and floral tattoo, sighs and says let me try it- in a way that implied I must have done it wrong. Well it doesn't work for her either, she try's another card, same thing. She tries her card it works, I ask her can I just set up a pin? We set up a pin same thing, not working. She mentions her manager is not there, and tells me to come back tomorrow. I work 6 days straight every other week varying shifts of either opening/mid/closing. I've been up since 4:25 am and do not have any other days to come back until the following week. I tell her this, she couldn't care less. I ask could you use your card so I can access the door? She said how long will it take. I almost lost it, I work customer service myself and could never treat a customer this way. I told her I just need to grab my dolly out of my storage unit and take it to my car to load it up and go in. She GRUDGINGLY grabbed her keys and followed me to the new entrance. Once there she opened the door and when I came back she was gone, I had to prop my dolly inside the automatic doors and carry my things by hand to the inside set them down and then reload it on my dolly I used to block the door with before being able to take to my unit. The service from this day and your employee are shocking. I will be calling Walt or whoever their manager is tomorrow. Thank you to the two guys that helped me. I want to say Frank? And the IT guy as well. I genuinely appreciate you. I also want to add that I absolutely have had bad days in customer service, but I always take care of my customers even the disgruntled ones. I go out of my way to give great service and I hope this feed back helps you deep dive into some of your employees and how they represent your business.
