I was in an accident that left my passenger side needing to be fixed. Ive used this company before and the rep who assisted me many years ago was great! He educated me on my vehicle, what the process of restoring my car would be and updated me on my vehicle status. In turn I was extremely happy and confident I chose the right company! Prior this experience I have always praised this company.Years have passed and I still remember my experience which is why when when I needed repairs I immediately chose them again. I dont know if it was because of covid or what but I got the rush service. Sign here, leave your keys and will call when its ready, okay see ya later. My car took longer than expected which didnt bother me. I told the rep as long as my car is being taken car of Im happy to wait longer. A couple days go by and the rep on the phone calls excited and saysGood news your car is ready and we only used this amount of money of the estimated quote. Which was odd since I never questioned the price. I always emphasized my car was the most important thing every I had to call for an update on my car. When I received my car I was over the moon to see it again. It looked beautiful!! I grabbed the keys and drove off a happy person. The next day though as I always do in the mornings I walk around my vehicle and inspect it. I know its odd but my car is parked out in the street and you never know what may happen. Anywho I know its not suppose to be perfect like the first I bought my car but my car looks a bit off. Like I have spacing and gaps where there never was. Like the person who measured for the parts didnt mind they were short an inch. Also the material doesnt seem like quality materials. One example my passenger rear view mirror now shakes when I drive. Like any minute a gust of wind is going to break it off. Im not a car expert but something doesnt add up. I know saving money to the insurance company is a plus I just wish it wasnt at the expense of the quality materials that my car now lacks. Hopefully if ever the next issue I have Ill have better luck somewhere else.

LONG WAITS, WRONG VIN# on contract, Intentional Unauthorized writing on checks, trying to pass BLEMISHED car as new: I went to Penske to buy a car for my parents on June 30 at 2:00pm after telling Daniel Rocha, their Costco auto rep for the dealership, that I would be in on Thurs afternoon. I arrive and Daniel Rocha is busy with another customer so I am assisted by Daniel Martinez. Nice enough guy. No real haggling as I agreed to the Costco price but they didnt have the car I wanted in stock. I was headed out to another dealership but was approached by Elaine, another rep, and asked if I would wait to give her a chance to see if she could acquire the car in the color I wanted. After 30 minutes, she was actually able to find 2 and by 3:30pm I agreed to buy the car if they could get it there ASAP. I was told by Daniel that it would take less than an hour to acquire the car so I agree to buy it. I leave the dealership, telling Daniel that I would be back within the hour-before he gets back with the car so the timing is right and Im not sitting around all day in the dealership and I can go pick up my father. As promised, I return at 4:10pm and Daniel still hasnt left to go pick up the car. I find out that he was instructed by Elaine to NOT to leave until I returned. Okay, so Elaine wasted some of my time. Daniel finally leaves to go pick up the car and contrary to his previous estimate, its over 2 hours later, and I decide to leave. At this point, its 4 hours in and Penske still hasnt been able to show me the car I intended to buy. As I begin to leave, Daniel shows. The finance manager tells me that there were 2 people ahead of me...which I am okay with as long as I am informed from the beginning. Why not tell me when I arrived that they were too busy to help me and that I should come back 4 hours later? POOR customer service.I decide that I waited for over 4 hours at that point, why not just do the finance paperwork now that they are ready for me. BIG MISTAKE. I am taken into the finance managers office where he draws up the paperwork and has my father sign at the appropriate places. Luckily, I am the type to read the details and notice that this finance manager tried to get my father to sign paperwork for the wrong vehicle, a totally different VIN#! BAIT and SWITCH much Penske? I guess you do because this finance manager never apologized and simply typed up new paperwork brushing it off as no big deal. Since when does having the wrong VIN# on a contract not become a big deal? After that incident, I am even more cautious with this dealership. The rest of the paperwork is done without a hitch...and I think I am going to drive home in a new car. WRONG.At the final walk around, I notice a blemish on the rear left side of the car near the lower paneling. The shady finance manager says its not a big deal and that its just a paint job and a quick service order can fix it. Im buying a NEW car, not a need-to-be-serviced and painted on day 1 car. So I decide to cancel. It's now past 7:00pm. As we head back in to do the cancellation paperwork, I am informed that my check cannot be returned to me as it was already put in their safe. So they held my check hostage for a day. I am told, not asked, to return next morning to retrieve my check.I return the next morning, it is now hour 19 since I first walked into the dealership. No one knows who I am and my check is not ready for me. No surprises here…more waiting. Finally 9:35am and I get my check. WAIT, someone that is NOT me has written on it! Penske has no rights to the check and has no business writing on my check as soon as I say I am cancelling the deal. The Penske rep tries to blow off this intentional and unauthorized writing on a check that does not belong to them by saying, Whats the problem? You got your check back. The problem is that I dont go around writing on your checks without permission intentionally as that may be construed as fraud.
Performance Ford

While assisting my daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. DelBosque purchase a truck, we had a horrible experience with Performance Ford in West Covina, CA. They sure lived up to all the poor reviews on Yelp, Google and many other sites we saw prior to our experience. We still decided to try them because we saw a used RAM truck we were interested in for an advertised for $45,841. Prior to going in we negotiated a price of $43,900 in writing via email/text. The following day we drove 3.5 hours to go in and test drive the truck. Later we sat down and offered $43,400, ($500 less than the previous agreed to written price). Our sales rep Michael Aragon insisted that he didnt want to waste his and our time and didnt want to present the offer to his manager. We became frustrated with Michael and his arrogance because he was not at all helpful, or customer friendly, nor was he willing to present our offer. After asking him multiple times that we speak directly with his manager he finally went and then returned with Sales Manager, Sam. Sam discussed our offer with us and made it clear that he didnt have anymore room to reduce the price on this vehicle. So Sam asked us to discuss it among ourselves and after a few minutes we agreed to purchase the truck at the email/text price of $43,900 that Performance Ford and Sam said he would honor and reaffirmed because we had it in writing.Michael then started the process with us filling out the credit app which we knew would not be problem since we have an excellent credit score over 810 and we were already pre-qualified with our CU. Michael took drivers licenses and proof of insurance to make copies. A few minutes later manager Sam came back and confirmed we were approved with an int. rate of 2.49% and said we were in line to meet with the finance guy to complete the contract. Michael later came back and said that the truck was going to be washed and fueled. As we waited some more Michael became suspiciously distant then after about 20 minutes he came back and said we were next in line to meet with finance then walked away. Ten minutes later Michael returned again and informed us that he had Bad News. He said the owner of the dealership did NOT approve the sale of the truck and had cancelled the sale. This sounded ridiculous so we asked to speak with manger Sam. Michael refused to call Sam back so I decided to walk into the manager bubble area, to ask Sam what had just happened! All Sam would say is that he had no control over what happened and that the dealership owner, (who was not at the dealership), called him and said the deal was off. Not only was this shady but we were very disappointed that they ran our credit without willing to sell us the truck. They misled and misrepresented a price they affirmed in writing. These guys truly lived up to all the other poor reviews, absolutely the worst and an embarrassment to the Ford Corporation who we will be contacting and filing a complaint with on Monday. In addition to Ford we will consider filing complaints with Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau.Dont believe their lying response to every poor review when they say that this dealership is under new management since then. They are the same despicable lousy managed dealership as per the reviews. We should have believed the reviews too. Sam, Michael, you two are the perfect example of why the car sales industry gets a bad name.Performance Ford West Covina, CA, is simply THE WORST!

On Thursday 4/19/18, Worst experience Ive ever had at any hotel! Im shocked that WYNDHAM is even affiliated with thishotel. We were originally reserved for 3 days in a Jacuzzi suite but upon arrival, we changed it to 1 day, but I couldnt even stomach staying in the room they gave us for 1 HOUR!!! The room had a very strong stinky MUSTY SMELL, strings of long hair all over the white floor from the door up to the carpet, Jacuzzi was DIRTY, top sheet and pillowcase was DIRTY. Mold on walls, night stand had screw sticking out n front to stab me. Chairs were filthy. I sat on the bed and could feel the springs. The whole room was old, dark and needs UPDATING. Front desk brought me Air freshener & clean sheets so that I CAN CHANGE THE BED, my Fiance spent 30 minutes trying to CLEAN the JACUZZI. After trying to clean and get room in a suitable condition, we decided that theres no way we could get any rest in that dump. Y should we have to go thru all of this trouble??? So we took videos and pictures and showed the front desk. He claimed the manager wasnt there, but Sam finally came from the back office and told him to refund our card and deposit. At 1st He tried to say we used the room but we explained that we were trying to change the dirty sheets and clean the filthy JACUZZI!!! I thought that was the end of it, BUT THE NEXT DAY, I SAW THEY PUT ANOTHER $129.87 CHARGE BACK ON MY CREDIT CARD! So we spent at least 5 hours off and on Friday calling and going back up there trying to reach MANAGER SHIRAZ to take charges off my card. We finally caught up with him about 11:30 pm and once he viewed the VIDEO and pics, he apologized several times and assured me that he was taking the charge off my account. He even gave me his cell phone number and called me back twice after 1 a.m. to tell me that he took care of it. The next morning, I checked my account and called my card company and they said that the charge hasnt even been reversed. I have since been trying to reach SHIRAZ and hes BLOCKED my calls and of course not reachable at the hotel. So he just LIED TO MY FACE AND OBVIOUSLY IS A FRAUD!!! If he was truly legit, he would have kept his word and at least responded to my calls and texts by now. Its Sunday morning and still nothing from him. This is totally unacceptable.
Hertz Car Rental
2144 E Garvey Ave S, West Covina, CA 91791, United States
Facility could be improved in my opinion (defined parking areas, more space to rotate cars around, bigger and modern office, etc.), but the staff seemed to work with what they got to their best ability. Hats off to the staff and their experience with all the different types of rental situations that I witnessed when picking up and dropping off my car (leisure, insurance, business, etc.). Also, I want to thank the employee that insisted on dropping me off to my home after knowing that I didnt have a ride home, despite my close proximity to this Hertz location and the workload present in the office. That seemed going above and beyond to me.Update: Last two visits resulted in a few hours of wait due to lack of cars (one leisure and one from Norm Reeves Honda). Its out of the control of the reps at this location, but several customers waiting for cars for hours is unacceptable. In my last visit particularly, the few cars that came in were turned around so quickly, that my car was presented to me still uncleaned- dirty floors, dirty windshield, dusty dashboard- and possibly overdue on maintenance (maintenance reminder sticker had a mileage that was approximately 1,000 miles overdue). Others at least had their cars given to them still soaking wet from the quick hose wash. I had to let an older woman that arrived after me get into the next available car because she had to pee and had to make a long trip back to Atlanta (she needed the car more than me). Another familys roadtrip was being delayed. Another was being denied the car class they reserved. All this while standing most of the time (13 customers and four chairs) and listening to a constantly-ringing phone (the representatives were constantly in and out- mostly out). Overbooking seems to be more prevalent at this location nowadays due to the contracting of rentals to the local car dealerships and location (only Hertz in the area thats not at an airport). Hertz definitely needs to address this with more staff and more cars (on top of a better facility). It saddens me as a loyal Hertz customer for almost a decade that I have to downgrade this particular location to two stars- and thats only for sympathy for the poor workers behind the desk who probably wanted to quit that day.
