The booking process and pick up process were both incredibly frustrating and painful.I should have noticed these red flags before confirming and picked up my Penske reservation instead.I first went to the store to buy boxes and ask to make a reservation. The manager told me to go online which was incredibly off-putting. I made phone reservations and Once I changed the date of these reservations online I was up-charged. My original reservation was cancelled without my request.Truck was vandalized less than 1/4 mile from the store. roadside assistance and this store did the absolute least work to assist me. I waited for over 9 hours to get towed to the store and another 2 hours to get a hotel room. Meanwhile I was sitting outside of a hotel through the entire process. My pet was traumatized from being isolated in a carrier and truck for over 10 hours. I persistently expressed the urgency of the situation but nobody at the store or on the phone seemed to pay me any mind. They have stalled all day and night to do as little as possible to help and prolong the situation. Each time I call I need to explain myself again. They are making me unpack and reload another truck rather than rekeying the ignition and locks. They are not allowing me to remain in the hotel while this work is done.I was going to tow a UBOX trailer for an additional payment of $400, but I reached out to UBOX and they cancelled the trailer tow so now I am unable to recoup those funds.A reliable and customer focused company would heed the call sooner and understand the urgency of this type of request. It should only have taken a few hours maximum to secure me lodging while the situation is remedied (I was sitting right outside my hotel less than 1/4 mile from the uhaul store). Someone from the store should have had the courtesy to come by and help and/or secure me a room in the hotel where I was already parked. They suggested to wait in the lobby, which is insufficient for my animal who needs to have some freedom to move around. I expressed this urgency many times.Alas, the entire day has been burned because of lackadaisical customer service.Never using UHAUL again.

We took our 2013 BMW 640i coupe to AARONS per our auto insurance provider which is Allstate by the way for the first of two shops they recommended for a minor dent to the passenger quarter panel left for us by one of our fine citizens who of course it should go without saying left no contact information just the damage which defines their blatant ignorance and disregard for others. Location Safeway/CVS parking lot located at Jackson & Cypress Hayward, Ca. Upon arriving at AARONS their work areas inside along with property space including their long driveway filled with cars being repaired and probably even more waiting to be worked on very very busy but that didnt stop members of their staff from recognizing greeting and welcoming us inside which spells great service which mind you takes place from where I pulled on their property/driveway approach which was just short of being placed on the street again very very busy which is a very good thing to see it says they do great work. Doors held open very polite very professional very attentive to our need in being their, active listening skills prompt attention to coming out to assess the damage come back inside communicate the estimate to us and i would say go out of his way to have us know that were not required or obligated by law to have his shop do the the repairs or any other shops the insurance would refer were entitled to take it where ever we choose and that with the amount of work they have even as minor as the damage is their probably not able to do the work until the 1st or 2nd week of october. Our car has not even been started let alone finished and their level of service thats obviously rooted in their honorable forthright respectful approach to their customers from the insurance company down to the insured customer/motorist and the work they do for them which their reviews SUPPORT, review after review after review after non stop review. Now i almost stated which is a level of service worth waiting for when I took note to were not waiting its service thats already happening. AARONS BODY & PAINT of Hayward California & ALLSTATE INSURANCE COMPANY you have my business now and will continue to do so along as their in business. My ESTIMATE/QUOTE $1494. now Im not a body and fender guy but PALLADIUM PREMIER AUTO BODYs quoted estimate was $8,500 which they didnt put in writing suggesting or coming to that by way of the car having zero prior damage and a only a complete quarter panel replacement repair could bring it back to its original undamaged condition as opposed to a pulling and filling repair which doesnt meet the original undamaged condition. Im sure AARONS will replace the quarter panel to repair it even if the cost would increase. Actually he didnt discuss what direction of repair they had in mind and i didnt even consider it at all until Palladium threw their highway robbery insurance fraud estimate at me that likely involved heating pulling with strong suction working it smooth from inside behind the rear interior panel and lightly filling any low spots and charging ALLSTATE $8500 for their $500 job. BEWARE of PALLADIUM website advertises newly located in Hayward 15+ years experience. Id be interested in knowing why their newly located and not at their alleged prior 15+ years experience location?

WOW! ACC did an awesome job on my minivan. I cant stop looking at my car, especially where the damages were. The quality looks like factory new.Someone hit the side of my rear bumper, so I went to two highly rated body shops that were local for an estimate and also drove a little further to ACC because of a friends recommendation. The shop owner of one of the local 4.5 start rated shop seemed nice enough, but he didnt even know the model of my Toyota minivan. After he assessed my damage, he went back to his DOS-based looking software (yeah, I even notice the type of software app they use b/c Im a techie) and he ask if my car was a Honda Accord. What??! At the other 5-star rated local shop, the co-owner was dressed casual (sweat jacket/sagging jeans) like he was dropping by his shop, and I got the feeling that I was bothering him to give me an estimate on my car. Very unprofessional. How do these places get high ratings? Makes you wonder. In a huge contrast, Jeff, the General Manager at ACC, was very knowledgeable and took the time to patiently explain the pros and cons of my options which I appreciated very much. He and the other manager, Rito, were dressed professionally and they treated me with courtesy. Their estimate was lower than the other two estimates; Not that it mattered to me since the person who hit me was paying for it. But what did matter was they even buffed up other sections/scuffs on my car that werent included in the estimate. Bonus! Thats what you call excellent customer service and satisfaction. They went the extra mile and they told me they dont cut corners. The end result is a very happy customer.Im a very detailed-oriented person. In regards to the auto body job, the last thing I wanted was to see the repaired area on my car look even a slight bit discolored or dull than the rest of the car. These things will bother me to no end. To my relief and satisfaction, I was amazed at the results, to say the least.Admittedly, some body shops will probably seem to do a decent job for most people, but along with exceptional quality, great service and professionalism is important to me and I received that at ACC. There is a big difference. Their reception/lobby area was also pleasant, unlike the other back office feeling, dingy shops I went to. Im thankful that my friend recommended me, and I highly recommend ACC for an all around exceptional quality and experience.

Motel 6 Hayward, Ca Silicon Valley Gateway

I just got home from a stay here mid-August, 2014 for 3 nights in a 2 queen bed room. Newly renovated room, no gross ancient carpet (faux wood floors, GREAT for someone with allergies), and no gross polyester comforter. I checked for any bugs, shells, or blood spots (signs of bugs) behind furnishings, in mattress seams, on sleeping surface, and I found no signs of them. During my stay, I slept in both beds and had no bites. The room smelled completely neutral, and felt very clean. There was a bright orange accent wall, no weird old landscape pictures, the shower was full-sized with a bath tub, the sink was totally new and modern, and there was a nice wood chair near the mirror in the room that I used together as a vanity. I can tell they are trying for a mid-century modern feel, and they accomplished that for a high traffic motel with industrial furnishings.Even though my room backed up against the retaining wall for 880, I didnt hear much highway noise. The area seems like it is zoned for commercial use, and there werent many people around at night, so I felt safe walking around by myself. There is a tasty Waffle House (breakfast and lunch only) and a Target across the street, and a Dennys, McDonalds, and a Gas Station with a Convenience store, all in the same parking lot, and all open 24 hours (McDonalds drive-thru only, Convenience store window service only). The staff were extremely polite and helpful, and there was a good security presence who were on-point every time I observed them. I didnt see any security issues during my stay, but I did see one guard assisting the hotel staff with a vehicle parking issue.Speaking of parking, the lot itself is somewhat chaotic. There isnt a lot of wiggle room, as there are a lot of semi trucks and other professional-use vehicles taking up lots of space meant for standard vehicles. They could probably use some dedicated large lanes, but for now, it was OKAY. Parking the way they did blocked off a lot of parking spots for other residents, which is the only reason I took a star off of my review, but thats not entirely something the hotel staff can control.PROS:EXCELLENT ratesClean rooms!Obviously newly renovatedGreat customer serviceConvenient shopping, restaurants, and fuel.Public transportation bus stop RIGHT in front of McDonalds. Bay Area public transportation is VERY convenient.Samsung flat panel TV in my roomCONS:No coffee pot in-room, but it is available in the lobby. No shampoo/soap/lotion, but there is soap provided. There IS a vehicle entrance to McDonalds from the hotel parking lot, but it is chained off, and the chain isnt easily visible at night.Old doors and old hinges make for lots of squeaks. I fixed mine by rubbing a bit of soap into the hinge. The door to our room let in lots of visible light, and made it harder to cool the room.
