Ive rented from Enterpirse for more than 15yrs . Im originally from Chicago and moved to Northern California a couple of years ago. Ive rented from Enterprise here twice . Each time there seems to be a different requirement to rent. In the past whenever Im renting using a credit card there is no deposit required, I just need to have the amount of the car rental available on my card. On August 25th I rented a vehicle and was going to use my credit card and was told I needed a $200 deposit + the amount of the rental. I didnt have the total amount available on my credit card but I did have money in the bank . This was a huge inconvienence as I ran out on my lunch not anticiapting the delay . I decided to go ahead and use my deit card, but then I needed to go back home to retrieve proof of address . I had to provide a check stub as well as a utility bill. I did do that but the inconvienence was ridiculous. This information regarding a deposit being needed wasnt provided for me when I called a week prior to make sure I had everythng needed to rent the car. I was told to just bring my DL and credit card . I ended up being gone for nearly 2 hrs from work, my boss was calling my phone upset that I was gone for so long. It was unnecessary stress that could have been avoided had communications been clear. Renting a car has become a traumatic experience here of late, with all the hoops youre required to jump through. I certainly didnt feel like a valued customer, as a matter of fact I felt like Enterprise acted as if they were doing me a favor for a nominal fee...If were the customers why are we not being accomadated when they screw up in communcating effectively. I did end up renting the car but not without being frustrated, aggravated and inconvienenced 1st to the tune of more than $500 of which $200 was a deposit. I dont know what can be done but as a consumer this is not what I expect to deal with when making such a simple transaction . If Im on file as a customer all this other information shouldnt be required . Im already on file with a rental history so why take a person through all of this unnecessary red tape. It is certainly a deterent when I think of renting a car again.

No star! Took hours for the guy to install a tow hitch on my car once… I arrived in Sacramento couldn't tow a trailer until their unsullied installer corrected the mess of an install done in Vacaville. Complete fiasco, then my fault for listening to them, Honda's cannot tow 1/2 of the weight they recommended, long story short, having a new transmission installed! Tow hitch $486, transmission job $2,600. If you don't have a truck don't tow! Don't listen to the young bucks in Vacaville ?‍??

Called was 3 minutes from the place asked if they had furniture dolly, that I needed 2 they said they had them. When I got there the lady said am I turning in my U-Haul truck I just rented at Davis street and I said no I was picking up the furniture dollys, she said they didn't have any to call another place. I said I just called less then 3 minute ago. Total waste of time don't do

I used U-boxes for my move and I had a number of problems with the overall experience:CONS:1) Some difficulty trying to speak with someone at the location office, kept getting redirected to a phone center, was told multiple times that I would receive a call back but never did. The only way I ever got a hold of someone was by calling back over and over again.2) I specifically stated when I made my reservation that I needed a weight ticket done for reimbursement from my employer for the move. While the goods were weighed by some unspecified method, no weight ticket was furnished, so once I caught this prior to delivery, I had to do the self-delivery option in order to personally do the weights at a local truck scale, drop off each box and unpack them individually, which cost me a significant amount of time with all the driving back and forth to the U-haul store. It could have cost me much more had I not checked for this prior to delivery, because without my weight ticket I would not have been able to be reimbursed for the move.3) When I informed the office manager at the destination office of this mistake, he stated that I would receive a call from the representative from the location where I made the initial reservation, so they could respond to my complaint. I was never contacted.4) This service took longer and was more expensive than other options I looked into. The only reason I was forced to use this service over the others was the lack of equipment availability for the other services on such short notice.5) I do wish there had been some way for me to predict when the shipment would arrive. I kept calling while it was en route and the representatives could never specify the location of my U-boxes and they were always confused about what day they were shipped and when they would be expected to arrive, making it difficult for me to plan when to be available.I will highlight the pros, though:1) The worker who dropped off my empty U-boxes and picked them up once they were packed was very punctual, pleasant, accomodating of my schedule changes and extremely skilled at maneuvering it into an awkward space that made it easy for me to load them.2) I felt that all the representatives both on the phone and in person were very attentive, pleasant and as helpful as they could be, given the limitations of their system. They were very patient in explaining all the details of the service throughout the entire process.Because everything worked out in the end, I will not say that the service was poor, but I would advise anyone using this service to look into other professional moving services first. Also, if you need a weight ticket, make sure the representative who coordinates the reservation understands what exactly you require.

I rented a truck that I needed, with the agreement that it had to be back in 6 hours, for another customer who reserved it later in the day. I paid the full price that would usually be charged for 24hrs, out of desperation at the moment. I agreed because I needed it.I returned it within 3 hours, when I was done with my first trip, hoping maybe they could accommodate me with a smaller truck for the remainder of the 24hr period, since I was paying full price, and they had plenty small trucks. A small truck was also originally offered to me for a full 24hr period.I didnt make any demands and was not rude to anyone. Was just hoping maybe theyd help me out as a customer, given the circumstances. Rather than having an open discussion with me about it, I was basically immediately lectured and told that I agreed to the short rental, that they werent changing the contract, and that they didnt have to offer me anything outside of the contract CONVERSATION OVER.I told them I knew they didnt HAVE TO DO anything. I made a simple request and didnt understand why I was met with such resistance. The woman helping me was the ALL BUSINESS with a no customer service type personality, which is unnecessary. The business was empty and no one in line, as it was when I originally picked up the truck.Its a shame that no real customer service and friendliness is the norm these days. And I dont believe the customer is always right, but I do believe businesses should try, when they can.This is a newer storage business, clean inside and out, and nice facility.. Better customer service wouldve gotten repeat business from me, and referrals to friends for future business with them. I guess playing the hard role was worth to the person at the counter. Why help me with an available truck when you already have my money for a 3hr rental I guess, huh. Thanks Uhaul of Vaca Valley

These people are constantly coming to my wife about everything little and will never mind there own business I have a disability and I have to eat every couple hours and they lock us out for it they have no right putting up a sign that says closes at 9pm when really if your not out by 830 they make you feel unimportant and lock out and change the times your allowed in and put you on restrictions so what do they have nothimg better to do then pestery wife while we are bothering nobody but them

I just have to share what a FANTASTIC group of agents Barbara Lightfoot-Nielsen has put together. Barbara has been our insurance agent for more than 14 years now. Anytime I call about ANYTHING, her team is responsive, professional AND caring! In a recent conversation with one of the agents I told her how Im teaching from home and going through paper and printer ink like crazy since March 13th. Within 2 days, I received a call saying that Barbara would like to order copy paper and printer ink for me and asking what kind of printer I have. My eyes nearly popped out of my head and for the first time, THIS TEACHER WAS SPEECHLESS. When I went to pick up the supplies, Id received a WHOLE box of paper and TWO Extra Large size ink cartridges! While I thanked Barbara profusely, she insisted that this is her way of thanking ME for teaching our students during this difficult time. I told her that weve all been gas lighted by all the corporate ads on tv telling us all how much they care about us - Its individual people like Barbara Lightfoot-Nielsen that really demonstrate how much Jake from State Farm really does care about their clients. I held out so long to write a review. In October 2015 I took Financial Peace University via a small group through The Fathers House. The program absolutely changed my life and perspective on money. The week about insurance though snapped me into action. My group leader recommended i80 Insurance Solutions to me and so I tried emailing through the website 2-3 times with no response and tried calling with no response. So I went on the Dave Ramsey site to find other Endorsed Local Providers and of course i80 came up so I went ahead and clicked the little button for them to contact me. Go figure they actually called me finally. So I met with one of their reps and I did get auto and renters insurance. While I was there I wanted to take care of the other stuff Dave Ramsey recommended (term life, long term disability, and identity theft) and I also run a home based business and wanted to see about business insurance. Well apparently only 2 people do the term life and business, and no one had a clue about the disability insurance the kept thinking I was talking long term care insurance. Apparently its been a while since theyve done FPU. And I guess Identity Theft is included in my renters although it wasnt explained well to me. Anyway Ive tried repeatedly to call and email. Ive also left messages through Facebook to try to complete my insurance needs. Whoever responds on Facebook advises me to call. Well when you call you get the voicemail that doesnt even say i80 Insurance Solutions it just gives an extension and says its unavailable. No one returns calls. Sadly Im already looking into other insurance providers even though I have about 4.5 months left on my auto and renters. Im so disappointed considering the high recommendation my group leader gave them. I hope my group leader at least got their referral credit/bonus.
