When we picked up our car, the rental agent told us that if we prepaid for a tank of gas, the unused amount would be credited to us upon return. When the credit didnt appear, I contacted customer service and was told that the prepaid fuel was non refundable. This is country to what we and the 3 families in front of us were told. We listened to the same thing 3 times so there was no way we misunderstood. There is no way to talk directly to the local agency that rented us the vehicle, only the call center in the Philippines.Total lack of ethics, transparency and customer service. We will never rent from them again.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car

They are not honest here even though that is supposed to be one of their values. We reserved a rental car online through a 3rd party and bought insurance through them as well. Upon arrival the employee said it wouldnt cover the car and that their coverage was what we would need. We showed them the coverage paperwork and explained what other insurances we have and they kept ignoring it saying it doesnt cover the car and we would have to buy theirs if we wanted coverage. We added it and I called the other company to ask why their coverage didnt work at Enterprise but they said it does. They suggested canceling the Enterprise insurance since it was 3 times as expensive!I called Enterprise, and it was very hard to get a hold of them. There are long waits and they hang up on you if youre waiting for representative too long. Finally I got through and explained the insurance we have. This employee said it does cover their cars. I asked why I would need their insurance then and why they didnt accept it before. He just repeating that it was optional and they offer it to everyone. I asked if they could refund the insurance and he said yes if we bring the car back in for inspection. We did but they would only refund part of it which is not what they told me on the phone.I did not feel like they care about their customers nor did they want to make it right. They dont seem to care about being dishonest if it will make them more money. This was our first experience with Enterprise, and unless they can make it right, we will never use them again. Weve had no issues with multiple other car rental companies.------Update: sent an email to Enterprise customer care a week ago and was directed to the regional manager. Still waiting to hear from them. 2/29/2020-----Update: months later Ive sent multiple emails and was told someone would get back to me. They never did. Sent more emails asking the issue to be escalated which after a few more attempts it finally was. Finally received a phone call and the person said theyd refund the one day of insurance I paid for because I wasnt aware of the policy that they wont refund it if it is past the first day. No mention of the LIES the employee told me about the insurance I previously purchased not working. They played it off as the employees was just telling me about the insurance I had the option to buy. Very dishonest company that takes forever to get back to you and doesnt care about wasting your time.

I want to thank United Auto Rental Ontario for making my vacation a perfect one.I arrived at the Ontario airport with a paid Enterprise/ Alamo car rental that I already paid for through Travelocity. So I came to find out if you DO NOT have a secured Visa/ MC or Amex and just have a Visa Debit from your bank you will NOT under and circumstance be able to rent a car from ANY Rental Car through Agency at the Airport. (What a Scam Travelocity is doing this and It is not printed, It was not disclosed and I was Never warned in advance this may happen ---that a secured credit card was required to rent a car from them. In addition it was already paid for ).I was left high and dry. Then I was referred to United Auto Car Rental- of Ontario and they came and picked me up at the airport and these folks were a pleasure to deal with. The rental rates are also very comparable to the other rental car places if not better. If it was not for United Auto Auto Rental Ontario positive efforts to assist me -my vacation would TRULY have been ruined and an ultimate disastrous nightmare.Thank you so much United Auto Rental of Ontario. You made my vacation FANTASTIC!A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ service!!! Sincerely-Marjorie from Oregon

My expierience was horrible.I will be staying away from Hertz.I spoke to everyone who was working when I picked up the vehicle. They were very unhelpful and rude to me and my wife. Tried to get the reservation in my wifes name. Had to cancel the reservation which was 100$ so she could drive it! Called the support and they were supposed to transfer me instead dropped the call twice! Finally on the third try someone was helpful enough to send me to the right person. Which saved me from a 100$ cancellation fee. Also note that if I would of waited 5 more minutes according to Hertzs terms and conditions I would of assumed 100% of the cost, not just the 100$ cancellation. Finally when the reservation was in my wifes name I was told that she would be billed for 205$ and so I added 210$ to my bank account thats in her name (since I couldnt pay for it and card had to be in her name only), waited in line AGAIN. Card kept getting declined and so I added 200 more dollars because the staff said the charges were for 405$. Called my bank again (Im traveling for crying out loud so Im not in front of my home computer to make the transfer!) and confirmed the declined charges were for 405$. I go back to the counter AGAIN and card gets declined and the person said now it was 465$, so again I called my bank and added 100 more dollars to the account. Went up to the counter again, this time the line was longer, and card kept getting declined. Called the bank again and said screw it Ill just add 800$ to my account. Im dealing with a crying autistic kid at this point so I send my wife up to deal with it, and she gets told that the computers went down so now we have to do everything by paper, so screw the whole 2 hours I just spent dealing with transferring reservations and time spent dealing with my bank.We get the run around when I go to pick out the car because its on paper and not in their system. The person tries to sell me on a 30$/day Mercedes upgrade, a 10 minute dialogue, while struggling with my autistic son, to find out its not 30$ a day, its 30$ MORE A DAY!Total it took 3 hours to get out of there and 3 hours less I got to spend my vacation with my family. Thanks for nothing Hertz!Horrible experience.I regret my decision to deal with this company and recommend anyone else to avoid this company at all costs. They try to rip you off when youre already dealing with stress from travel and God forbid if you decide to cancel because of your regret because theyll make you regret not using their service. Not to mention when I went to drop it off it was 20 minutes to drop off the car to get out of it, and 40 more minutes standing in the Gold Member line.

When I first went into this offiice, it was quite small, I was greeted, and the staff was friendly. One was busy helping the customer while the other was helping with another customer on the phone checking rates. They informed me that they will be with me as soon as possible. It was a good 10 minute wait, I was expecting for them to ask me if I had a reservation to move the process quicker. The rental process was decent, I think there was another individual working there who was helping another person move the fridge? But no point were taken off because of that, I dont think he had another computer or terminal to help me even if he wanted to. But, when lines got long at Enterprise, I do recall where an agent would walk me out with a couple of keys and inform me which car I would like to rent instead of having me just wait in a long line and to start the paperwork. The selection of the vehicle were limited to 1 of each of the category. I had put a hold on an intermediate which happened to be a Hyundai Elantra, when I did the walk around, it looks like it had been in a slight fender bender and the rear bumper was sticking out a little bit on the right rear wheel well. Yes just a little bit, but I did not the bumper to strip off while I was driving down the Highway at a constant speed for 5 hours plus. It has happened before so I informed them this vehicle is deemed hazardous so I will not accept this, maybe a little eye roll was given to me ... but safety is an issue to my family and I.I was then given another alternative, which I am sure would have been the same price for a smaller size which is compact even though I paid for the upgrade for midsize which was for a Scion XA in which, I know I am unable to put my pregnant wife and a car seat for my child to sit comfortably. To which I asked do you have any other vehicles, she said let me go back in and check, mind you the parking lot is very small. If you dont know the inventory of what seemed like 3-4 cars in the lot was a bit frustrating. So we go back and she said, we have a Toyota Camry, I said fine we will take that. In my mind, a free upgrade would be nice because the other vehicle didnt seem safe. She said it was going to be $15 more. I said can you make it $10, she said no at first, then asked her co-worker to which she obliged. I just didnt know it was going to be $10 a day.In my mind Sonata, Elantra vs. Toyota Camry, same thing, didnt I reserve a Midsize, not a compact. I thought they could have handled this issue more professionally when I told them the car was unsafe. I asked about the oil and maintenance, tire pressure, etc and received a response of they get maintenance to their respective mileage, fair enough, I wanted to check the oil level but I dont think she was having it. So I rented the car the car runs great, funny thing was on my trip back home, the Maintenance light came on for a brand new Toyota Camry at 4689 miles or something. I was rather surprised.

Melina was absolutely incredible! I mixed up my reservation and didn't realize until the night before. Not only did she help me figure out next steps but she even reached out to other cleaners in my area to help me in easing the process of rescheduling. She took what could have been an expensive and incredibly inconvenient mixup and made it seamless. She was a prompt and sweet communicator. I am actually bummed we don't live in her area because I'm confident she would have done a fantastic job taking care of our baby items!

That was Ten years ago, yet after going through DUI classes, having to have the Blow & Go hooked up to my car for 18 months and staying in good standing for the next ten years my insurance remained at $160.00. No One Cared and No one would lower my premiums. Then I called Joshua Marsh and got in contact with my hero Justin Dietrich. Reema is one of the best insurance agents around. She is not an insurance sales person, but instead an insurance consultant. She is extremely knowledgeable about each of the insurance products she offers, and guides you through what you need and dont need based on your personal situation. Reema has the ability to explain complex insurance topics in an easy to understand manner. Whenever I have a question or need anything, Reema is always available. I have had a few claims in the past, and Reema guided me through the entire process and made an unfortunate situation as pleasant as possible. I enjoy working with Reema and highly recommend her.

Paulette has been able to solve so many problems for me and my business. I'm extremely thankful. I've run several corporations, and wished I had her on my team back then. Now I have multiple investment properties, a business that requires someone able to manage risk reasonably with a strong attention to detail in many different areas. That's asking a lot, that embodies Paulette. She is very knowledgeable in so many aspects of insurance. On top of that she has access to leaders in the field for the really tricky stuff. Being Scottish, I really like the price point too. I'm actually saving money with better insurance. I highly recommend Paulette and this agency and have recommended her to everyone I know.
