U-Haul of Concord

If I could give this place no stars I would!, doesnt even sum up the incompetence of this location!BUYER BEWARE! We ordered a hitch and installation for our vehicle and set the install to be done at this location. We were set with a day and time. On the day of install we were called maybe 30 minutes before and told it would have to be done another day because they didnt have all the necessary parts. Rescheduled and when it came to the day of install we arrived to drop it off only to find out low and behold the parts still werent there. I mentioned that having a system in place to avoid this happening would be helpful. George was the name of the small minded individual that rudely snapped back with some excuse and another, which I felt was unprofessional and unnecessary. So once again we rescheduled...what we shouldve done was to listen to all of the signs of incompetence and just asked for a refund at that point in time. So here we are today! The day of install (again). We drop the car off, make sure they have ALL of the required parts and left for a planned day out celebrating my fathers 72 birthday. Only to get a call after we sat down for lunch by the notorious George telling my husband that they cannot complete the install. They couldnt (aka didnt know how) get my break light off, tried with force it and BROKE IT. Heres where it starts to get good...WE would have to go get a new break light cover and they would just reimburse us!! HA!! How bout no! How about you figure it out since you broke it! Hey I know YOU call Acura to make sure they have the part in stock and courier it to your location since youre not allowed to leave the premises George is very argumentative...a word he apparently doesnt understand the meaning to! Because all he wanted to do was try to dismiss his responsibilities and insist the ONLY way they would mend the issue would be for us to stop what we were doing, go get the part, reimburse us for the part and put a new one on.....um HELLOOOO GENIUS.... if you broke the thing in the first place BECAUSE YOU COULDNT GET IT OFF, then how does it make any sense to do what youre suggesting???!!! We tried calling the GM 3 times with no success at all. Called the customer service line in which we were transferred a half dozen times and on the phone for 40 minutes just to file an official complaint so that it would be documented. This place is an absolute joke with rude, inadequate individuals that could care a less about providing quality service for their work. Prepared to get screwed! When my husband went to retrieve the car he was refused a full refund, had several of the staff arguing and insulting us about our RIGHT to a FULL REFUND. We did finally get the full refund but still will have to deal with them about the repair cost. Nightmare! Pay more and go take your business where professional and competent work AND customer service is a priority!

Lehmers Concord Buick GMC
1905 Market St, Concord, CA 94520, United States
***EDIT***I have been working with Russ Anderson from Lehmers to fix the seat and address the other smaller issues. I have adjusted the rating accordingly. Russ has treated us well and respected our grievances. If Pete had just done this from the get go, we would have been much happier and would have had a 5 star post sale experience. It seems Pete was trying to save the cost of replacing the seat covers by doing a cheap fix to get us out the door. After over a month of further attempts to redo their repair, Lehmers finally agreed to replace the affected seat covers and we are happy with the results.*** EDIT ***My wife and I needed an new family SUV after our 2007 Saturn Vue was deemed a total loss. We settled on a Dodge Durango and found several low-mileage, pre-owned, 2017 and 2018 GT models at several dealers in our area (Concord/Walnut Creek).I saw Lehmers had a 2017 Durango Gt in the colors we wanted and called to get more details. We were put in touch with Chico Dixon and set a time to come take a look. My wife was busy with our 5 month old at home, so I went in on 4/2/18 by myself to look and test drive. We had driven another 2017 that was exactly the same minus the AWD 2 days previous at another dealer.Chico treated us well and I liked the car except I saw the rear seats (middle, behind passenger) had some damage to the leather. Also found broken glass under the damaged seat and what looked like blood stains behind the center armrest and on the other passenger seat. These few things were giving us pause. The Sales Manager, Pete Benjamin, said no, problem! We have a leather guy here and well fix the seats for you! We moved forward with the sale. I purchased the Cilajet protection for the seats/dash/wheels and an extended warranty. Our first disappointment came when we found out the extended warranty they sold us was more of a reimbursement service contract and the company they use has terrible ratings and reviews. I found out the Mopar manufacturer lifetime extended warranty was cheaper than the 4yr/100k warranty they sold us. We cancelled the Lemers warranty without issue. We brought the Durango in to have them do the seat repair 4/11/18. They ended up needing to keep the car until 4/12/18 due to the Cilajet application. I asked for them to make sure to remove the stains prior to applying the Cilajet, which the service advisor promised they would do a full detail and try their best to remove the stain. My advisor called Thursday to say the car was ready and the seat looked brand new. Good news. But after picking it up and getting it home to inspect further, we saw their repair was to apply a copious amount of leather patch (the type found at most auto parts stores) over the entire seat bottom. After actually applying pressure (similar to someone sitting in the seat) the repair cracked and the paint flaked off. This made the soft leather feel and look like cheap vinyl and was at best a cheap, short-term fix.Had we know they would do such a cheap fix we would have looked elsewhere for another Durango. We spent close to $40,000 and feel like we received worse service than buying a mechanics special from Craigslist.
Big O Tires
1440 Concord Ave, Concord, CA 94520, United States
Ive been going to this location for years andIve never had a problem with them doing the job right. However, some if their service reps are not so great.A friend of mine recommended this location to me when I first moved to the area 17 yrs. ago. She was the barber for Joe and his boys. So sure enough when I need an oil change I went to see Joe and he was great. I went in once and Joe was busy with another customer, so he told me to go inside and Pierre would take care of me. Pierre was also great. So anytime anything aside from my scheduled mileage services needed to be done Id go to Big O and see Joe or Pierre. Unfortunately Joe is no longer with us so now I just go to Pierre.*DO NOT go to Brian!Once I went in and Pierre was on vacation so I ended up dealing with Brian. Uggh, big mistake. I kept hearing a noise under the hood and the car would hesitate sometimes when I pressed on the accelerator so of course I wanted it checked out. The first time Brian sat in the car and pressed on the gas while the car was in park and said he didnt hear anything and that it felt fine to him. The second time he drove it down the street with me in the car and recommended that I add something (I forget what it wss called) to my oil. So I went to OReillys bought the stuff and added. Uhhh, NO! That didnt work. Yes I am Woman, NO I am not stupid! So I waited until Pierre returned from vacation and he typed up a slip to have the mechanic take a look at my car. Come to find out my engine needed to be replaced! Pierre recommended a place that did engine replacements, but suggested that I just replace the car which is what I ended up doing. Huge difference in the level of customer service!*DO NOT go to Jason!Another time I went and Pierre was busy with a customer, so I planned to wait inside until he was done. I get inside and Jason offers to help me and for some dumb reason I let him. It was just a blown tire and wheel that needed replacing. Ugh, it was like dealing with Sid the Sloth! He swore that the dealership would rip me off and that he could get me a better price on a wheel. WRONG!!!!! It was EXACTLY the same price for the wheel and the dealership had a better price on the tire! I dont know Why men feel like women dont know how to do research! Wake up, its the 21st century!Women if you go to this location ask for Pierre. Youll get great customer service and hell treat you the same as his male customers.
Concord Chevrolet
1330 Concord Ave, Concord, CA 94520, United States
We contacted the dealership when we received the notice for the recall and scheduled an appointment. They had no knowledge that all they needed was my vin to process the battery order. I arrived for my appointment and they said its a 4 hour procedure which soon turned in to all day, and then overnight. I informed them that based on the info they provided that I was not prepared not have a vehicle, so they proceeded to get me a rental. Soon after I arrived home in my rental they called and told me that I can pick up my vehicle because they dont have any batteries to install and the first step was to get the VIN number to order them from GM( which could have been done as soon as I arrived or before they even scheduled the appointment). I returned to the dealership to exchange the rental for my vehicle where they informed me that my batteries had been ordered and they will contact me when they arrived. 15-20 passed when they called and told me the batteries are in and we scheduled the appointment for the service. This time they said they would need the vehicle all day for the service so I was more prepared and scheduled a ride. I dropped off the vehicle at the dealership and received a call from them 4-5 hours later stating that all they had to do was get the VIN number to order the batteries from GM. I was in disbelief an informed them that this was exactly what happened the first time my vehicle was there for this service. They were just as confused but stated the batteries were not ordered on the first visit but are now. Once again! Theyll contact me when my batteries arrive. 15 days or so and the dealership contacts me to come in for the service and the batteries are in their possession. They stated they would need the vehicle all day so thats how I was prepared. I called 3 times throughout the day without ever reaching my representative and leaving voicemails. They never called back or ever gave an update so I had someone drop me off at the dealership to find out the status of my vehicle. When I finally was able to speak to someone face to face, they told me the vehicle had to stay overnight. I informed the representative that never had they mentioned that and I needed a car to travel the following day on Christmas Eve. They were lucky that the rental agency had one vehicle left. The service department was open on Christmas Eve and they still did not finish the service. The service department obviously was closed for Christmas and the following day (Sunday) so I had the rental for 5 full days. The dealership has almost no knowledge of the recall and what the battery charge is supposed to be after the service. This was the most unprofessional encounter for this type of commerce. Its amazing the the complete lack of performance and preparedness. I understand mistakes happen but this is beyond that.
