Communication was awful. I kept being told different estimated repair dates by different employees. I would follow up & there was no communication between the employees & they just kept shifting blame onto each other. I had to pay out of pocket for my rental because of how long they took and were not able to provide an estimate of when my car would be repaired; they'd say they finally received a part my car needed them the following week they'd backtrack and say it was delayed and did not receive anything. When I finally got my car back, it was making a loud noise on the side that was not affected because some pieces were placed crooked. I went back, and was told the loud squeaking was normal. I took my car to the dealership where they showed me the frame was not properly installed by this body shop & no other body shop wants to fix it because they're not the ones that made the huge mess up. This body shop mentioned they got “brand new tires” but the “new tires” were extremely smooth and blew out within 2 weeks. A year later, the paint job they did is now peeling, my tire/fender area is always squeaking, and the tire pressure sensor light is always on because they placed the pieces crooked. I filed a complaint with them through my insurance. They provided an estimate to my insurance and later increased it by 5k only for my car to have issues as a result of their own work. Everything about this place feels fraudulent. I don't even trust going back to them to fix it & other body shops refuse to fix their mess.

Allen Tire Company
12238 Woodruff Ave, Downey, CA 90241, United States
If I could give the manager Dan 0 stars, I WOULD. I have taken various vehicles to this location & theres always an issue. On one occasion we took our vehicle to get the tires rotated & balanced. We bought the package that costs $79.99 from another store located in Hawthorne. The vehicle is registered in Inglewood, & he kept asking why I brought the vehicle all the way to Downey if I lived in Inglewood. I thought, WHY DOES IT MATTER? I didnt want to sound rude, so I stated I worked in Paramount, & it was close by. He insisted though... This place either needs to train him on how to treat customers or just hire another manager. I will definitely be contacting corporate regarding this, & other matters involving him.

Took a persons camry for mechanical services on a tow trailer and a fella in a red shirt in the service department i didnt get his name due to not wearing name tag gave me the thumbs up and said its ok to unload the vehicle wher i was in the service carport area that person who ever he was was very kind nice. As soon as im half way unloading the none running vehicle of the trailer bed( SHANE ☑️) is his name i asked multiple workers there to verify his name a Caucasian white male wearing the same red shirt as the guy that gave me the thumbs up to unload the vehicle there, Shane comes out of nowhere very upset with me using profanity extremely rude yelling at me as if i knew the guy becouse im blocking the vehicles from driving up to the service area, that it was getting backed up blocked, i was very kind at first with Shane putting up with his extreme rudeness and garbage yelling and faul language...i explain to him in a calm manner that another of his teammates wearing the red shirt as him gave me the go to unload and explain to him if he can help with pushing the vehicle.. he denied and watched me and another guy wearing glasses push it. The guy that gave me the go agreed to calling over a few techs to push the vehicle but the techs never came. I was so thrown of and shocked how out of the blue SHANE CAME AT ME with such garbage character and attitude. When shane was angry his entire face was so cherry red and got very agressive with me that he seemed like he wanted to do a act of violence against me i had to get in a state wher i was prepared to defend my self physically in case. The owner off the vehicle said she was going to try to report him to a high ranking dealer manager to make shure this doesnt happen with another guest. Service department needs to have better communication with their employees team to avoid such insane incidents as with this with Shane so everyone is on topic and knows what is going on... Shane should not be employed if he is going to get hot head and loose his temper who knows what shane is capable of please make sure the main dealer manager reads this i would hate for this to happen to another client. Thankyou.

Cruise America RV Rental
8460 Telegraph Rd, Downey, CA 90240, United States
My 3rd time renting from Cruise America. Each time the RV has worked great and the check-in/out experience was good. The first 2 rentals were from the LAX/Carson facility. This time we rented from the Downey location and although the door sign read masks required, none of the staff had masks on. I was a bit disappointed in their lack of adherence to the guidelines. We got to our campsite the first night and the next morning I noticed the rear passenger tire looked low - bought a gauge and the tire was definitely low ~20psi. I put some air in it and watched it for the next 3 days - seemed like a slow leak. I decided to have it fixed while we were staying in one location for a couple days. Turns out there was a screw in the tire. Given the slow leak, I'm pretty sure it was in the tire when we picked it up and the folks in the Downey office hadn't checked the tire pressure.I did submit the expense and there was no question about refunding me the amount. I think we were lucky we did t get a flat on the road with the pressure so low.The other disappointing part of the check-out was that the staff didn't run through the vehicle with me. They asked if I had rented before and when the answer was yes, they assumed that I knew everything about how to operate the RV - which was true, but then I was left to check all of the items such as making sure the generator worked, the stove would light, etc.Overall, the experience with Cruise America was good and I'll definitely rent from them again.

Champion Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM FIAT
9655 Firestone Blvd, Downey, CA 90241, United States
The worst experience I have ever had, I brought my vehicle because my cars battery was discharged and when power was applied it was deprogrammed and I needed the codes to be reset, and my worst mistake was telling the service advisor that it had an extended warranty, well, since The dealer will not have the same profits as if I had to pay the cost out of my own pocket. This is where the nightmare began, since they took more than a month supposedly looking for the problem but at the time I didnt care because the extended warranty covered the car. rent, but it got to the point that I became desperate and contacted Dodge directly, for this Dodge contacted the dealer to ask for answers and when they were pressured that was where they did their tricks since they disconnected the modules so that the computer made an erroneous reading and Then they blamed the installation of a dash cam that I had professionally installed at BestBuy 2 years ago and when I demanded to see my vehicle, they disconnected the cables from the dash cam to, according to them, show me that that was the problem and thus deny me. warranty coverage. In the end I ended up paying more than 1700 dollars but I didnt care because I wanted to end that nightmare and have my vehicle back. And to my surprise, when they delivered my vehicle, it looked like a street mechanic had worked on it.It was disgusting, the seats were all stained, all my belongings were scattered in the trunk as if it were garbage, and if that wasnt enough, they made a dent in the roof pillar. I will never come back to this crooked dealer.JUST FOR THE RECORD, WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO A CERTIFIED SHOP FOR REPAIRS OR UPGRADES IT SHOULD NOT VOID YOUR WARRANTIES. But this dealer had the audacity to deny coverage base on an upgrade professionally installed.I attach some pictures of a damage they did to my vehicle and how dirty they perform the repairs, please be careful with the diagnostics they give you, and make sure you check your vehicle around so there are no extra damages to it because the “technicians” have very poor work ethics

THEY STEAL YOUR money and they don't fix your issues. I went in to fix the problem with my steering wheel being too difficult to turn. The mechanic told me that it was this power steering pump and that the cost to replace it would be $460. Not knowing about cars I went ahead and did the repair only to find out that three weeks later it would have the same issues. I took the car back and the mechanic told me that now it had a different issue but he would check to make sure that it was what he was expecting. He said he would give me a call back to confirm on what the problem was but I didn't hear from him in two days I tried calling the shop and no one answered. I drove to the shop because no one was getting back to me and he said that the issue was the hose and the sensor which would be an additional $400. I told him that I would come back because I had already spent the $500 and I did not have another $400 to spend only a month after the initial repair. I then decided to take him to a mechanic who is a family friend And has been with repairing our cars for many years. That mechanic told me that the pump the original mechanic placed in the car it was the wrong one and he told me that the fluids he added to the car had contaminated other parts of the car he replaced the hose and the sensor for only $200 and told me to go back to the mechanic so he can change the pump. When we went back the mechanic said that the pump is God and there was nothing wrong and that if he we wanted to replace that it would be another $80 for him to replace it so basically they steal your money and they don't fix your issues do not trust them to not go with them save your money saver time save a headache.

Motel 6 Bellflower, CA - Los Angeles
17220 Downey Ave, Bellflower, CA 90706, United States
To the staffs credit, some of them tried their best to provide decent customer service. Joe, in particular, is really good - even though he was a maintenance guy, he supplied us with fresh linens late at night when the front desk woman told us there was nothing she could do. He deserves kudos. Unfortunately, I cant say the same about the security staff. One guard in particular yelled at me to quiet down in the middle of the day, then harassed my fiancee by asking her extremely inappropriate questions. When I voiced my displeasure at this treatment to the front desk, I received the name of the security company from a second guard and a half-assed apology. To make matters worse, when I tried to directly address the first guard (regarding his rude and aggressive behavior), he claimed to not recognize me or my fiancee and denied everything hed done... and the second guard (who was shooting the breeze with his cronies out front, instead of securing the premises) tried to victim shame me instead of apologizing for his colleagues continued poor attitude and lack of customer service. Nice to know that youre being protected by guards with either short term memory loss, poor vision, or an apathetic attitude towards the guests theyre supposedly protecting. I will give them one kudo, though - when a tall, heavily tattooed man and his female companions were making loud, inappropriate noises at 3am in the room adjacent to ours (which contained two sleeping babies and an adult with RA), one of the guards *did* ask them to keep it down (after I walked downstairs to the front desk and complained). So I guess the guards are good at keeping the noise down when reminded how and when to do their jobs. We asked for a full room cleaning twice, but found maggots crawling on the floor after returning to our room. One of our rooms was missing a toilet lid cover, which they finally replaced after multiple requests. The WiFi signal was weak and spotty... and I recommend bringing your own coax cable, so your DirecTV picture doesnt pixelate. Its got a pool, free HBO, A/C, and a place for your dog to poop. Its also got apathetic employees, lax security, sketchy surroundings, and guests who smoke on the balcony less than 20 feet from the other rooms. So if you need a place for a one-night stand, or place to conduct business where you wont be bothered by people in uniforms, then youve found the right Motel 6. Otherwise, there are plenty of other better locations where Tom Bodett will leave the light (and other basic living necessities) on for you.
