U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer
16717 Spruce St, Hesperia, CA 92345, United States
We rented a truck telling them we needed it for towing purpose. When we arrived to our destination to tow our trailer we noticed that there was a 2 ball locked onto the trailer hitch we had to use a 2 5/16 ball so we were S.O.L. they never disclosed to us that the ball was locked onto the truck or that it would be unable to tow with a 2 5/16 ball. We were told when we called in that they would need to speak to the regional manager and he would be calling us back. We never received a call back from the regional manager so we returned the vehicle. While we were returning they told.us it would be put on hold until they can reach the regional manager and that he would call us. When the owner heard us discussing this he came out to try and put the blame on us saying if we wouldve done the walk around we should have seen the ball and known wed be incapable of doing what we needed. I told him if his company would has disclosed that at the time of purchase knowing we needed it for towing we wouldnt be in this mess and I wouldnt be out $200 and a days time getting nothing done. He then said if it was up to him hed just charge us and be done with it. Overall pretty terrible customer service on there part. Id suggest skipping using the neighborhood dealers and go somewhere that is strictly U-Haul not a U-Haul attached to another business. These people dont care and are out for your money.

Great service, friendly and will assist your transportation needs. If you are moving the have a good selection of trucks and trailers for rent. Recommend you make a list of things you need to pack, so your move will go as planned. They have boxes and packing materials for you to choose from. Good luck on your trip.

Quinn Company - CAT Construction Equipment Hesp...
11930 Mariposa Rd, Hesperia, CA 92345, United States
Quinn refused to rent an excavator to Our Nonprofit because we dont have an account and we refuse to set 1 up! In 30 years we have never needed an account, and they claimed it was due to covid..... what a Joke!! We are simply a Nonprofit looking to rent a piece of equipment without all of CATS BS attached.

Very disrespectful people to speak with. I have spoken with a women named Amanda a few times over a phone conversation and she was beyond disgusting to speak with. Both conversations were very “aww poor you, to bad I don't care” and just outright jaw dropping. I don't even rent a storage unit at this location, but have been receiving mail for someone I have no idea who they even are for TWO YEARS! The first time she said she would try to reach out and get an updated address so the mail would stop being sent to my house and she obviously failed, because the mail just continues to come. The second conversation was today 12/07/22 and Amanda was still extremely rude. She started her conversation with me with “As I've told you before there is nothing we can do” in a very disrespectful tone. As a homeowner, it's so frustrating that someone you don't even know would be able to use my address as proof of residency and this company could careless and continues to send their mail to my home. Very frustrating and I couldn't imagine having to speak with these people when actually renting a storage unit. Very pitiful, and I would stay away at all costs.
Quality Auto Body & Paint
16701 Walnut St Ste G, Hesperia, CA 92345, United States
I had gotten what I had thought was a scratch on my truck, so I decided to take it around to see pricing for getting the paint fixed. The first place I had went to had qouted me 600 bucks they stated they needed to take off the whole panel and it was slightly dented and they would charge me for that repair as well to which I stated I wanted to look around. I had taken it to a second shop who said they can fix the paint on it but would cost $300-400 (they didnt mention taking off the panel). Lastly I took my truck here to Quality Auto, I had told her I wanted to get a quote for my truck she ( Cynthia the owner) had come outside to see the truck and very quickly she was honest and upfront and stated it was just a paint transfer and that there appeared to be no scratches to metal or even scratches. She called her Husband out and he looked at it went inside to get a cloth with some liquid on it and boom the paint job looked good ss new in a matter of less than a minute. I am very grateful for honest people like Cynthia and her husband in these hard and crazy times. I will be taking my car over to them soon as well. They got a loyal customer in me.
High Desert Auto & RV
17229 Lemon St e2, Hesperia, CA 92345, United States
I am revising my review due to the problems I had with a recent RV trip across the lower half of the United states to the east coast and back. Although this establishment does good work, their road inspection techniques leave little to be desired. I brought it in for what they deemed to be a road worthy inspection. There were some critical items that failed during my trip that were preventable had they inspected them. These incidents cost me $3000 in repairs and we lost about a month of travel time sitting and waiting for repairs away from home. The rear suspension failed on the first day and cost us 3 weeks. The mechanic told me the shear springs were torn and thus failed. I was told by High Desert RV that my brakes were fine, but the front pad broke, causing rotor damage. The mechanic who serviced it showed me how thin the pads were. Also, the inside my front tires were worn down to the metal (which was discovered during the brake check) So I had to get an alignment and two new front tires. My rear differential was leaking. A mechanic in Louisiana told me the fluid was extremely low and he had to add some. These were ALL items which if given a proper inspection, could have easily prevented the problems weve had. I since sold my RV because of the expense in repairs, and the fact that I was totally disillusioned over the whole experience. My biggest concern was to get home safely. The other BIG issue was that 90% of the RV service facilities would NOT work on my RV. I depended on mobile RV repair techs and some truck tire shops, we were LUCKY to run across during our issues. I was also thankful that the two major issues (rear suspension and brakes) happened when we stayed at friends and relatives so we didnt incur hotel costs, or sitting in parking lots waiting to get fixed. If you use High Desert Auto and RV for road inspections, be sure to go to another establishment and get a second opinion.7.8.22:Response to High Desert RV. We did NOT take an unpaved road! We traveled to Phoenix AZ on I-10 and when we pulled into a Pilot for fuel, the shear spring broke. The other services that you had mentioned were not the ones that failed. I just want to make sure everyone is clear on that. Get a second opinion when you take a long trip folks!
Freedom Auto Repair
12221 Poplar St STE 11, Hesperia, CA 92344, United States
I took my vehicle here due to an oil leak on my vehicle, I waited 4 hours for my vehicle to be completed. Freedom auto repair advised to me that they had found 2 oil leaks on my vehicle. I was charged $524 dollars for the repairs. Well, the next morning the oil leak was worse! I took my car back for the second time and they simply cleaned all of the oil off of my motor and told me to return the next day. (Third day of returning to freedom auto repair) the oil leak had worsened! Adam at the front desk didn't even acknowledge me and made me feel very uncomfortable! Adam then notified Jeremy the owner and Jeremy said that I have 2 options, Refund or leave my vehicle with him for a day or 2 and that he would try to fix the oil leak at no cost! I got my money refunded! I do not let any mechanics play games with me. I'm a cash paying customer that shows respect to people that give me respect, I feel that this was such a waste of my time! I missed 2 days of work because of there false diagnosis. Jeremy advised to me that he would return my money back to me only if I sign a release of liability form. Not even to mention the headache on getting my money refunded! I waited nearly 4 days to get my money refunded! Jeremy had advised to me over the phone that I was being ”VOLATILE” I then advised to Jeremy that he needs to put himself in my shoes! And I think that any customer would be VOLATILE as well if you waste there time like freedom auto repair has done to me! Jeremy was extremely upset due to my previous review, I erased the review because I felt hostility towards me while picking up my refund. I didn't even step foot on their property just so I could avoid confrontation, Jeremy handed me a check because I had not received my refund back to my account yet, then he made me feel like if I was a theif!! Jeremy advised to me that once the other 524 hits my account to return it back to him. This place was a nightmare!!! Jeremy was so worried about me putting up my honest review! Well in this country we have freedom of speech and the right to write a god honest truthful review.
Silverwood Lake Pilot Rock OHV Staging Area (2N33)
16041 CA-173, Hesperia, CA 92345, United States
I usually take this route to 2N17x instead of the main fire road. 4WD needed and expect to be in 4lo for a majority of the trail due to the inclines. Some areas you may need to lock up or change the line if you are open diff.By itself the trail is fairly short and drops you off near Arrowhead so you can stop by the village for some pizza. Dedicate 1-2 Hours for this trailThe inclines make lines look more intimidating than it really is but if you enjoy taking Cleghorn off chutes then this will be a breeze. Good trail to get familiar with your 4x4 and not push limits to dangerous angles.Plenty of Dirtbikes & SxS drivers out there so please stay alert coming over hills as it gets very blind.
