U-Haul Moving & Storage at Harbor Blvd
822 S Harbor Blvd, Santa Ana, CA 92704, United States
I rented a 17 truck from Uhaul on June 19th. The cable to the back door got tangled so it wouldnt close properly. I called for roadside assistance and they came and cut the cables, making the door extremely heavy to open. Luckily I only needed to open the back door once to unload everything. I returned the truck and informed the employee of the issue and handed them the key. 20 minutes later I received a receipt with the normal charges from a Kiara. There were no missing item or damage charges on the receipt. 2 hours later, I get a 2nd receipt from another employee named Ricardo saying that I owe them $1223 in damage charges. It is a scam tactic that this location uses to get more money from customers. Im trying to contact Uhauls office to get this resolved but beware when renting from this location. You may get a receipt saying everything is good and then get a follow up email asking for $1000s dollars more for damage that they claim you caused even though their employee already said that there was no damage on the return receipt.

I had the most amazing experience working with ALM and they made my boho inspired 1st birthday party for my son come life :) Their rates are reasonable, customer service impeccable, and their furniture is gorgeous and in pristine condition! The daisy chairs were so popular with our guests, paired with the hammered coffee table. But my favourite items were definitely the low boho coffee table with their selection of floor pillows and pouf. Somehow I forgot to order the coffee table so when they arrived without it, I was in complete disarray. But because it was still available in their inventory, they went to pick it up and deliver prior to my event starting. Honestly, the best vendor I've ever worked with and I look forward to using them again :) Don't hesitate, just book!
The Anderson Law Firm
2070 N Tustin Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
Im dealing with a California lemon law case in Northern California, and after not getting anywhere with the dealership, I decided I should reach out to someone with more expertise in this area of lemon law. So I called California lemon law attorney, Martin Anderson, at The Anderson Law Firm for help. Martin answered the phone right away and was extremely patient as I shared my case. He was also very transparent in outlining my options--based on my rights under the California Lemon Law--none of which pushed me to hire him and pursue a legal case, until that becomes necessary. Not only was he willing to provide my wife and I with the peace of mind that we have another option if things go South on us with the manufacture and local dealer, but he also provided me with some really great tips on how to make our situation more tolerable while we deal with the problem our brand new vehicle has presented. He was very patient, friendly and gave me sound feedback about how this could work if decided to go with getting a refund or a replacement, and overall made me feel very comfortable talking with him--which isnt always the case when speaking with a legal professional. He demonstrated a high level of expertise in the are of lemon laws, here in California, and everything he said lined up with our experience so far with the automobile manufacture. If you are in a situation like mine, where you have a lemon of a vehicle, and you need answers fast, give Martin a call and see how he can help you out with your lemon law case. If things dont go how we need them to over the next few weeks, well definitely be reaching out to him with a lemon law case to represent us as our lawyer.

Public Storage

Price hikes are excessive. My unit is now more than double what they rent current similar units for.Ive been a customer here about 4 years. 10x15 unit.--Initial price with insurance was $233.--9 months later increased to $255.--12 months later $291.--12 months later $393. Prices online at that point significantly less.--I ask if they can do anything, they brought the price back to $291.--3 months later, the price hikes back to $393.--6 months later it hiked to $467. Prices online about half. I ask if they can do anything, they decline.--Prices online today for similar 10x15 unit, $219 with insurance.I finally just booked one of the online units for $219 and will physically move my stuff from one unit, down the hall, to the other. I asked if there was a way to avoid going through this exercise and just give me the price that they are currently asking for rentals, and they said they could reduce my rate down to $375 but no more.Periodic price hikes are one thing, but for them to get to the point where the unit of someone who has been around for 4 years is more than double the price of a similar unit currently online is horrible.Facility itself is fine and the individual people working there are nice, which is why it doesnt get 1 star, but the pricing practices are a just a bad way to treat customers.
CC Relocation, Inc.
12471 Barrett Ln, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
Everything seemed great until we arrived at our new home. Everyone was kind and during the unloading of my furniture and boxes. My 84 year old mother was very sick .I told rhe movers in advance where furniture went and helped direct other items while taking care of my mom in a beach chair because the furniture was last to .be unloaded. They went to pick up a TV stand a mile down the road from my brothers house. Then they left. After I was able to get my mother comfortable I went upstairs and found the master bedroom furniture in middle of the room still wrapped up. I texted them and they said last words After a few texts Again I am really sorry Debbie, guys do make mistakes in where they put things and its usually caught and fixed before we leave but unfortunately it wasnt this time. Im very sorry about your mom and hope she feels I contacted Randy the next morning because I found my tv was cracked when cable guy came out . I filed a claim and have spoke and left messages for Randy without him contacting me back. Also 15 boxes marked clearly for which room were stacked in garage with garage boxes and I am still slowly getting one by one since my mom who was hospitalized twice and needed home care since we moved here May 9th now requires 24/7 care from me paying over 10,000 and having to put my bedroom together and carry boxes upstairs and I had other broken items which I just wrote off I am upset with the lack of responsibility and being ignored for 1 simple claim. Dont be fooled by thr kindness. Beware they had me sign contract before unloading and there was no walk through afterwards . This was my first out of state move
Lake Casitas Recreation Area
11311 Santa Ana Rd, Ventura, CA 93001, United States
This place is a dump. False advertisement, there is no lake.. Just a couple of mud puddles and no fish. Very disappointed. The facilities are outhouses, dirty, trash strewn about and very little sites to choose from as the majority of the lake was closed.Water Park: Again, save your money unless you like being stuck in a watery version of the 405.. in Mexico.. My experience was wretched.Park policies: When I made the reservation I only wanted one day. A Saturday. I was told reservations require a two day stay regardless of whether you are going to be there or not. I figured, ok.. Its my daughters bday and I want to teach my son to fish.. Why not. When we arrive on Friday to check in, I was in my car as the RV was being serviced. I informed the man at the gate and he proceeded to charge me an additional $14.00 dollars. When I asked what the additional charge was for he said it was policy that additional vehicles pay $14.00. I said, okay, that makes sense. However, this is one vehicle, I had just paid $120.00, for the site and this one vehicle would be in the site one night, until the following day, I would be bringing the RV (one vehicle) and leaving the other vehicle at home. After some debate with, Abel (a manager...lol.. hardly). Heinsists if I want to use my camp site this evening either I would be paying an additional $15.00 dollars for my vehicle or my RV that I would be bring the following day. One site, one car. That makes sense. The policy is as such the pass is written once and the park management will not make any exceptions.I get it.. Its only $15.00. Its the principal of it. They nickel and dime the very patrons who keep them open. I will not be back and I highly suggest to anyone else thinking about spending their hard earned money there. Many, many, many other places to go in the area that have way better amenities, at a better price and no sneaky policies in place designed for profit. If you let them they will scam you out of every cent they can.If, IF you still decide to go.. If you have an extra vehicle or friend have them park out front. Its free.
Canyon RV Park
24001 E Santa Ana Canyon Rd, Anaheim, CA 92808, United States
Been going to this park for 20 plus years and will NEVER return. My family and I return every year on the same weekend with the Canyon Cruisers for their annual car show. Every year we reserve the same camp spot #102 for the following year. We have noticed that the office staff was getting more and more customer unfriendly with each visit but you only have to deal with them upon checking in then its away from them and camping with the family. Well thats when this story changes everything forever. We arrive on a Friday afternoon to check in along with many other folks checking in for the weekend, the office was busy and hectic . I pay and move to our spot #102. We set up and have a great evening. We have guests coming for a Pre car show BBQ on Saturday evening. At about 2:30 pm on Saturday one of the office staff (male 40, Light hair, beard and glasss) shows up yelling at me while I was asleep under a shade tree that I was in the wrong spot. I was shocked at the way this guy approached me and his level of voice. I told him he was the one who booked me last year for this year for this spot, He shrugged his shoulders and said to check my paperwork. I retrieved my paperwork from the RV and it had #106 on it. I went to ask him what happened and he was gone. There were an elderly couple waiting for our spot and I did not feel like dragging them into it. I went and looked at spot #106. It was the last spot in the park all dirt no shad, in other words the worst they had to offer. WHY would we book this spot? My wife went to the office and spoke to a young lady who said the manager was not there. She was able to confirm that in fact we have stayed in this spot for at least three consecutive years thus supporting what we were telling them. I got mad packed up and left the park.Today 6/6/17 my wife called and spoke to the same guy who made the reservation last year and rudely came into our camp site to kick us out. He checked their records and confirmed we had in fact reserved that spot for several years running and would NOT confirm the reservation for this year. He said the park has the right to change your spot with out notice. Then WHY make a reservation? He said he would NOT credit us back the $75.00 for the night we did not stay there. He would not use it towards next years reservation, he was VERY rude and had zero customer service. When we asked if they were willing to loose a returning customer over this he said its no big deal. Not only do I want to return and have some words with this guy!!!!! I feel like I entered the twilight zone. He made it very clear that the have enough customers coming they just dont care if you are happy or not. I will pass this experience on to all my car show friends, all my camping friends and anyone else that I think may want to camp there in the future. Has customer service gone by the wayside completely in California? I use to look forward to this family car show weekend.
