Trash Kings Junk Removal & Haul Away
25713 Tournament Rd #2360, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
As part of our decision to remodel our home, we decided to get rid of some of our furniture and appliances which we temporarily stored in our back yard. Included were a washer and dryer, four sofas, six mattresses/box springs, computer desks and chairs, patio table and chairs, old garden equipment, outdated electronics and much more. When looking online for a company to come get all of these items, I looked for a company with large trucks. I came across Trash King's website. Even with its many five star reviews, I initially dismissed them because their website showed a pickup truck with a trailer not nearly big enough for everything we had. I decided to call them anyway and let them tell me that they could not handle a job this big.I called Jon and told him what we had. We wanted to come by to take a look. We met at 11:30 am and he told me that not only could he handle the job, but he could have everything removed by the end of the day. He had another job ahead of me, but he would be back before 3:00 pm. Two trucks with trailers arrived at 2:15 pm. A third truck and trailer arrived a little while later. The crew of 4 or 5 immediately began work and had everything cleared out in less than an hour.Since I only called Trash King, I did not have any other estimates for comparison, but based on what neighbors paid another company for removal of less than we had, Trash King's price was less.I expect to have more trash in the future and I will definitely be calling Trash King.
Public Storage
18650 Via Princessa, Santa Clarita, CA 91387, United States
I am so glad I made the decision to book with Public Storage. Yesterday around lunch time, I found out that I had to move my studio apartment today. I was panicked. I started calling around. I called public storage because the previous place I had called was all full. I spoke with Debbie. She was SO helpful; she offered me advice and she made the reservation process easy and quick. She was kind, informative, and attentive. 10/5 stars for Debbie!THEN, about 15 minutes later, someone from the location called me about the unit I had reserved. I am so sorry I don't remember her name :( she was also just as kind and informative as a Debbie and should receive 10/5 stars as well; she called me to let me know that it is a first-come-first serve reservation system. I totally understood. She wanted me to know that it was the last one and that someone had come that morning to look at it. I needed to sign the lease online as soon as possible if I wanted to keep it because there is a chance that if I waited til I got there to look at it the next day, it may have already been taken. I was SO thankful that she called to tell me this! I told her I would do it right away. Well, something came up with my dog and I couldn't do it right away. When I finally got to my computer, I saw that she had resent the link to sign the lease. She sent it a few hours later, which was so considerate and unnecessary. I was so grateful in that moment I actually teared up a little bit. These last two days have been very stressful because of all of this. When I got to the storage facility today, everything was easy. Too easy! I couldn't believe it. There was a cart so that I could easily transport my stuff from the parking lot, through the halls, and into my unit. When I opened the unit, the lock w/ key and information/insurance papers were very neatly set up on the floor in the corner. The presentation was classy! My dad tried to skateboard on the cart, which was not classy. But..he was successful. I was impressed with the old man.THANK YOU, Debbie from phone reservations and the girl who was making calls on 6/20 around 2:30 pm at the Via Princessa location (i am so terribly sorry i forgot your name). And thank you to whomever set up the unit. I will definitely recommend Public Storage on Via Princessa, but you'll need more units because mine was your last one! ;) take care!
H-P Transmission Center
27266 Camp Plenty Rd #120, Santa Clarita, CA 91351, United States
The transmission in my wife's car went out I took it to three different places the first place did a transmission service and charge me $400 that did absolutely nothing. The second place told me that I needed my transmission rebuilt and they said $4500 and maybe more if there was more wrong with the transmission then just the soft parts. I took it to HP transmission spoke with Robert and Frank who are both very polite and knowledgeable. They are both very helpful and they were both so responsive I don't even know who the boss is they took very very good care of me and my transmission works like brand new. The car hasn't ran this good the entire time we've owned it. On top of everything else it took a little long to get a part due to supply chains shortages and they did extra for me. Offered to get me a rental car and did the transmission on my 19 tundra. I honestly couldn't speak more highly about HP transmission and their employees I would recommend it to anybody I know!
Reeves Complete Auto Center
26821 Ruether Ave, Santa Clarita, CA 91351, United States
I have family members who go to Reeves and this was my first visit. Im a do-it-yourself person when possible and had spent about 8 hours chasing a squeak when making turns in my Dodge Ram 1500. It was hard to isolate, sounded like it was coming from everywhere in the front end when I rocked the truck. I replaced some bushings, lubed everything possible, issue still persisted. I took it to Reeves and Chris and Dave both commented it sounded more like the frame vs. suspension and it was a head scratcher. Chris said they had equipment that could isolated it and they gave me an estimate for 1 hour diagnosis. Chris asked if I needed a ride and I said its long way over to Castaic but didnt even hesitate with not a problem, Ill Uber you home. Wow, what service, try that at a dealer! Chris called a couple hours later and said it was indeed a right side front frame bushing which was going to be very expensive to fix, involved lifting the body off the frame. No pressure at all to resolve it, I said Id think about it since it wasnt dangerous to drive just annoying. I picked up the truck and thanked them for their honesty and expertise and their 100% guarantee that was the issue. Im confident any other shop or dealer would have just started replacing components and prying money from my wallet with no resolution, Reeves has integrity, they are willing to say we dont know but we will find out before we do any work, a rare find in todays market of shady mechanics and dealers. I took the truck home and emptied a 1/2 bottle of silicone lubricant into the bushing on on the frame. My first turn I heard a pop and I think whatever was wrong pushed the bushing back into place, maybe, might just be the silicone working for now. Regardless, its squeak free for the past two weeks, I would have never known where to point the spray hadnt been for Reeves hard work, they pinned it down to one specific place and were 100% right. Thanks Dave, Chris and the entire team!Vehicle: Dodge Pickup Service Date: 08/09/2017Update: 9/1/17: Still squeak free, silicon still working and Ill continue that until I have to replace the bushing.

Golden State Storage - Oak Avenue
26825 Oak Ave, Santa Clarita, CA 91351, United States
12 hours of access a day, with a 20 minute limit? if you go over that your loitering.I believe that is called breach of agreement actually. your rental agreement says you have access from 7 am till 7 pm, but they say 20 minutes of that. when you put your code in for access the computer even restates the access hours. As a disabled American I feel they are very discriminatory.2 messages, 12 hours of access a day followed by 20 minutes. restaraunts do this type stuff to make room for other patrons, and they usually give you 30 minutes, which is long enough to eat, but this is all unecesary at a self storage place. I think they feel it is fun.watch out for Coleen, she has a malicious side. when she chooses a target she hovers around the gate and when you open it she will get mad because she is near it.she did that to me and 3 days ago I watched her do the same to another.she is not very nice at all, watch yourself if you go there. Are in is descent but unfortunately he is married to her/it, so watch him as well, Gina however is really sweet, but not sweet enough to make up for Coleen. Also, with aforementioned scenario you should be cautious about giving Arron cigarettes as I think that that too irritates her. Any little thing you do, even things done with good intentions will receive this type of treatment.Of all the reviews of this place only this one goes into detail, if that tells you anything.edit: Thanks for that Brian, but it means nothing really.as soon as you use terms of legal prosecution towards me i am done dealing with you.maybe you should explain to your managers some are like that.today I was chased around by Arron who wanted me to know his feelings, but he didnt care about mine.basically, i was harrassed today while showing up to start cleaning it out, thats not professional is it?Arron wanted me to see the company policy and all, let me ask you, does it not include NOT SMOKING INSIDE THE STORAGE BUILDINGS?because I have seen Arron walk through at 7 am with a lit cigarette before, gods honest truth, isnt that in there sir?so you expect me to follow your guidelines that your managers ignore?yeah right.who gets the blame for it?I could look you dead in the face in front of Arron and say i saw it, could he look me in the face and deny it? doesnt matter, were done.I asked him if he could spot a lie in my review, he said no, i said then it was deserved, he then pointed out that on yelp i said Gina where i meant Coleen, so i did edit that, Gina was awesome, shame about the rest.i actually witnessed you smoking in the storage buildings twice, the second time you came asking for a light, i told you you could bring it back when you finished but you lit it there and walked out the door, did you consider the rules at that moment? the rules you want others to follow?your tenants could sue you for damages on that one Arron, breach of contract as well, after all it is a SMOKE-FREE climate right?Wonder what Brian will say about that.. nah, who cares, his problem now.but on a side note Brian, if you wish to speak with me on this to know I am speaking truth on it you can call me and I will come ask Arron about it in front of you, I would be interested in what he says, after all I have been a minister for 21 years, truth and lies intrigue me, dont know why people lie, until they put themselves in the position to HAVE to to protect themselves USUALLY from things they did THEMSELVES, typical case, age old problem. You need to learn to train your managers better Brian, after all you claimed you did train them, 4 years that I know of and he is still this off track?you should also teach your next resident managers how to talk to people, and not use legal terms when other terms are available, had the term hanging out been used i might not have cut off business with you immediately. When your dealing with a hypocrite every day longer is a curse, no good can come of it. Maybe we will do business again someday, but Arron and Coleen will be gone first, till then.. bye.
Rivers End RV Park, Pub and BBQ
13130 Soledad Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91390, United States
Rivers End Pub: Where Western Charm Meets Culinary Delight! We recently had the pleasure of hosting our SSPTA Mustang Roundup at Rivers End Pub, and I cant sing their praises enough! What an incredible experience it was for our 125+ attendees. The owner Eric and his event manager Missy were wonderful to work with and were on top of everything for the event. We had a vision for the event, country themed against the beautiful back drop of the Angeles Forest mountains. There was little we had to compromise on, and they were flexible with our requests, to help us create our vision. The space was accommodating for our guests; in close proximity to our school community; enjoyment for all of our attendees between the bar, the mouthwatering BBQ, live band, and silent auction area; and spacious enough that people could walk around without being on top of one another. The highlight of our evening was undoubtedly the delectable BBQ spread that Rivers End Pub offered. From the succulent, smoky brisket to the tender pulled pork, every bite was a flavor explosion that left us craving more. The sides were equally impressive, complementing the main dishes perfectly. They clearly take pride in their culinary craftsmanship, and it truly shone through in everything they served. As if the tantalizing food wasnt enough, the master of ceremonies and live auctioneer we hired, Benjamin Nathan-Serio was outstanding at engaging with the crowd and leading attendees through the different phases of the event. The live band, Future X-Husbands, was also nothing short of extraordinary. Their energetic performance had everyone tapping their boots and singing along. It added an unforgettable, authentic ambiance that elevated our event to another level. To top it all off, the silent auction was a hit! Organizing this segment of our event, providing the perfect backdrop for our guests to bid on an array of incredible items, was key to our fundraising success for the school year. The staff working the event were all attentive and accommodating, ensuring that everything ran smoothly, and that our guests could focus on enjoying themselves. The event planning and execution were seamless, which allowed the SSPTA to relax and savor every moment of our Mustang Roundup. In conclusion, Rivers End Pub is a hidden gem that exudes Western charm, serving up delectable BBQ, on special occasions providing top-notch live entertainment, and facilitating fantastic events. If youre looking for a place to host your next gathering, whether its a country-themed event or any other special occasion, look no further than Rivers End Pub. The memories we made here will be cherished for years to come. Thank you to the whole team at Rivers End Pub for making our SSPTA Mustang Roundup an absolute success! We cant wait to return for more unforgettable experiences.
Cali Lake RV Resort
10645 Soledad Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91390, United States
Im the manager at Cali-Lake RV Resort, Id like to say thank you to the people that have taken the time to show their appreciation for the blood sweat and tears of the people that have helped this park grow into a community that is unlike any other, a community of that is founded upon good ethics and morals and kindness towards the guy or girl next to you, a community where people care about each other and take the time to help each other, Ive not known the names of my every neighbor since moving to Los Angeles more than thirty years ago....now I know every single person in this park and they know myself and Serena, and our owner Stewart the reason I put 5 stars is because although we are still figuring out our lot, and the maintenance that it takes to have internet, a fully functioning lake, cell service and the other pit-falls that come with trying to run an Idyllic park that is in the middle of a canyon with no fiber optics available, and although having been tied at the stake by the high regulatory fashions of trying to help the wildlife by keeping a beautiful non-polluted lake (which we named the business after) the FACTS of the matter are that we have tried to maintain a gorgeous lake, but wildfires in previous years before our time clogged the resources of clean water with thousands if not millions of lbs. of wood ash, and we were admonished not to do a thing about it until further administrative actions could be decided upon and while we waited our lake ran dry, and we broke the rules and saved the lives of nearly fifteen thousand fish that were swimming in a mud puddle, not due to our own negligence but due to the fear of being closed down by the authorities that had the power to do such a thing, we renovated a once forgotten fish pond and put the fish from the lake in the small pond (originally designed to be a koi fish pond adjacent to the restaurant) and then after we were finally allowed to excavate some of the ash that clogged the lakes resources we were told by the authorities we were not allowed to put the fish back in the water from whence they came, which in turn has ruined the beauty of our pond, and effected the eco-system of of our lake, and also we have not been given the go ahead to excavate the rest of the wood ash that clogs the lakes life source but we havent lost one fish due to OUR negligence, only to the stomaches of some hungry terns, egrets, Canadian geese and a few local racoons.... cell service is an issue if you dont have Sprint or one the few cell providers that have towers in the area and that I have to say is not a reason to hold us accountable, it is unfortunate that a small fraction of cell phones do not get reception in a canyon that is surrounded by beautiful mountainous terrain that can be agree-ably described as Gods country, but I know for fact that God existed before cell phones and if you want to stay in his country youd better be prepared to ask the managers if you can use their landlines for emergencies and/or change your cell carrier, because to hold us responsible for not having cell service is just not something we can do a thing about....yet we still apologize. Other then that, people who throw stones shouldnt live in glass houses...this is a safe, fun, and friendly place to come and it has its share of problems that I personally promise we are addressing as quickly as the rules let us...but hard working honest people are here doing the best they can to accommodate you and your family in making great memories...One manager was lost recently due to a motorcycle accident and not once but twice we had a service for him where nearly two hundred people gathered around and told stories of how great he was, thats what we are here at Cali-Lake Rv Resort...a community of people that if one of us is lost we celebrate that life not once but twice! Rest In Peace Larry Doran you deserve it! God Keep Blessing us all...pauliRockwell
