Easy Truck Driving CDL School Sacramento
8565 Weyand Ave, Sacramento, CA 95828, United States
I was a little skeptical coming to this school, since it was not a big name or popular one, but boy did they prove my skepticism was misplaced. At first I called and talked with Ali, about coming to his school. He gave me all the info I asked for and shared so much more I didnt even know, then he gave me my pricing options. I was skeptical, so after I talked I said Id call him back in a few days or so. Then of course I called all his competitors and some were more expensive and some less expensive and for some reason they did not share as much info as Ali did at Easy CDL. Still skeptical, but running out of time I took a chance and gave him the deposit to start the program. After making the decision to join his team at Easy CDL I understood that I made the right choice. After the initial deposit and even before his school training began, he sent me material to start studying. Having his videos and handouts early on were perfect because I hate being rushed when trying to learn something new or even just re-learning. He made the DMV appointment for me and said come in when ever you want because I had the unlimited training program. Im really, really, really glad I got that option because once I began practicing I was so overwhelmed with how much I sucked behind the wheel and the only thing that saved me was that plan. It would have been far too expensive paying by the hour or certain time slots that were offered at other schools. I needed that safety assurance that the unlimited plan gave me to come in and keep practicing behind the wheel of the trucks he had available.Obviously, I had to put the time to study and practice on my own, but he was somehow always available to give you one on one attention and guidance. Ali is really knowledgeable about the industry and well connected not just a small business. As you learn about what you need to pass the DMV exam you may learn about his time in the police force, or perhaps as an OTR trucker, or even as tow truck company operator. He provides you with a wealth of information before, during, and after you graduate and pass your exam.Oh ya, I almost forgot, I passed on the first attempt at the DMV just like everyone else did except for that one guy that came in last minute the day before his exam to learn everything.Ill be back to rent his bus for the passenger endorsement soon. Right now Im working on my other endorsements. Thanks Ali for all your help and advice!
Trailer Rental at U-Haul
3979 N Freeway Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95834, United States
I rented a truck and trailer w/ ramp to go pickup a golf cart. The 2 pickup trucks were already reserved, so I could not use them.I was provided with a box truck that was capable of pulling the trailer. It seemed a waste to have the trailer if the golf cart can fit inside the box truck. They dont have any ramps that are the width of the inside of the box truck. This truck had no ramp at all.The truck had a few problems.1. The truck has no cruise control. Trying to maintain 55 or 60 MPH was rather difficult.2. The A/C worked intermittently. 20 minutes of cold followed by 10 minutes of warm.3. While there are (2) 12Volt adapters to keep cell phones charged, neither worked. Not sure if both are on the same fuse. This would be a good reason to put each on their own fuse.

My wife and I reserved a 26' truck through their Budget Truck Rental business. We reserved the van 3 weeks in advance and confirmed 1 week prior to picking up the van. On the day we were picking up the van, literally less than 1 mile from their office, they call to inform us they do not have the van. They gave us three different and conflicting excuses as to why the van was not available and were EXTREMELY RUDE to my wife. In the end, they had a 26' LIFT GATE van, but not a 26' RAMP than we'd reserved. We are moving to Nevada tomorrow and have an entire sequence of events we have set up. They are trying to bump us to a much more expensive rental (that we do not want and did not reserve) through forcing a lift gate on us OR a one way rental. Both of these solutions are unacceptable and NOT what we reserved or

I needed a truck for moving some furniture to a new place. The rental was easy and quick, they even gave me more time just to be sure I didnt rush. During the move I lost a wing mirror, the staff were polite, professional, and helped me through the process of filing damage. They made what could have been a scary, expensive experience easy and manageable.Highly recommended, always get the damage waiver.

No way. A place of Utter Disappointment. This place is a professionally done rip off,a rip off, you want to know how?Look and see for your self whether you are an owner operator or a large trucking company you will not want to lose money because of dishonest business, even, if its just one single case. I never had batteries fail on my truck. So I was away from the truck for about a week, one morning went to it to start it, and its dead. Next thing arranged for truck to be checked for shorts, no shorts! The wiring checks out ok! Lemon batteries. Not too pleasant especially on a trip.Calling NOR CAL Kenworth where I got the batteries from, 13 months ago. Explained the guy that my truck HAS NO SHORTS, IT CHECKS OUT OK! Instead he totally ignores me, and what I hear back is: that the the parts dep guy does not talk a word on batteries, that they could be of poor quality, but is pushing me to bring the box truck into their shop for diagnostics, what I do not need to do.I am asking him why do I need to bring a perfectly fine truck, which already tested out ok, to the repair shop, when it is evidently the batteries at fault and not the truck? ( thought: well, sell the quality stuff dont push junk and later on have people go insane)The guy states this is the only way you will find out what is wrong with the truck, you must bring it in to the shop.He was just pushing my truck is to blame, and not their batteries quality. Wow.I would agree, if the truck wasnt already tested!!! Does he listen to me at all???!I said, if this testing is free, just for you to be sure of what is going on, I could bring in the truck still knowing that it is perfectly fine. The answer is: No sir you will have to pay for the truck diagnostics.I said the truck is having NO ISSUE it has already been tested and found ok. It is the batteries that are not ok them selves, that is the only thing left to be in fault in this situation, and it can not be any other way.If Kenworth really needs to know for them selves I can let an access to the truck to check, but I have done nothing to deserve to be charged for. These two batteries are a junk, or a lemon consider it any way, because nothing else is left for a sane person to see here. These batteries are under two year warranty, give me normal quality stuff and its guaranteed you will never hear from me again.Instead of helping the NOR CAL KENWORTH PARTS DEP guy simply loudly hangs up on me. You see and read that right, I was evidently hanged up on by a person you would very much hope to be helped for.Now imagine that you are in this situation, do you want it upon you? How do you think you would feel if you have dealt with this Kenworth location and they are dealing you in this way? Do you want this done to you?Bottom line: They are pushing you into their shop to charge you, even when you are already just after the diagnostics from another solid reliable place that found your vehicle at no fault. That is, especially, if NorCal Kenworth has a warranty claim on a part they sold youHere you realize that if you get this much charged for unneeded, but forced diagnostics, then your warranty claim makes no sense, becomes nulls for you, but not for them. you rather buy new batteries again, right there. Got it? Explaining again, by forcing you into their shop when you dont need it, they leave nothing of your warranty value, you are further in minus

I had a bad experience of these guys unethical and unprofessional attitudes of the company. Let me explain what happened.I had one year lease contract of two designated parking spaces and an office for an auto retail dealership starting 1/1/2017 with these guys on 11/18/2016, I signed on the contract and paid $900 total in cash, $450 for the first month and $450 for security deposit. This contract was prepared and signed by two managers of RVS Line, Inc.and me.On 12/30/2016 Friday, I came to their office to get an office key because they close on weekends, and asked them to give me. One manager said, Come again on Tuesday, 1/3/2017 to get a key and he left. Another guy approached and said, lets go out to discuss the situation. At this time, I knew these guys are trying to hide something. Because they spoke in Russian, not English, themselves, I couldnt understand what they were talking about.Any way, one manager and I went outside the building. I was very upset when I heard from this guy saying, sorry, we did not know but we made a lease contract before we signed the contract for the same office.I know this was not true, because two managers were presented at the time I signed the contract. Basically, someone desperately needed an office, they raised the rent, and then signed the contract on the same office. Im going to consult with a legal adviser to see if this can be a legal case next week.Try to avoid these guys, because they are not normal and not ethical..

They were late for appt for 1.5 hours. Haven't apologized for being late. It took them 2 hours to set forklift when it usually takes 30-40 min. These two men were Very unprofessional. Don't waste your money by hiring them. Very poor business mentality.

I rented a truck here for a couple hours on 5/5 and returned it that same day In perfect condition. I gave the truck directly to an employee, got my email receipt, and left. On the 15th I get a text saying I owe more money and find out that I am being held financially responsible for having the truck from 5/5-5/12 and they want about $600. I look through my emails and find that aside from my first (correct) receipt sent on 5/5 they sent me a second one with completely fraudulent charges on 5/12.I call customer service and a very kind employee reassured me that it was clearly a glitch that had actually happened to multiple people and that they would fix it. On 5/18 I get an email saying they sent me a refund but seeing as I hadn't actually been charged yet it should cancel out what charges they had heading to my account on their end.Unfortunately on the 5/24 my account was hit with the $600 charge plus a $30 late fee. At this point I am down around $630. I call customer service again and they say that someone made a mistake in refunding instead of canceling out the charge before it hit me but that I would see a refund on my account for the $600 charge next day. They also send a $30 refund for the late fee that I do see on my account that same day.It is currently 5/27 and still no refund for the original fraudulent charge of nearly $600 so I call yet again. They say that actually since it is such a large amount I need to call my bank and give a special code to them. I called my bank and am now waiting to call back Monday as they are closed and hopefully I will get my money back. While the actual employees who picked up the phone and the ones who work this location in person seem very kind and I have no anger towards them at all I just can't recommend anyone risk going through this headache. If you must use them please use a good credit card that will allow you to dispute charges easily and check your emails diligently for surprises in the weeks following your transaction. I am still down about $600 for something I didn't do and am just tired.

Propane pricing scamThe only reason I brought my tanks to this U-Haul location to get filed is the discounted price of $2.49 per gallon. I just had to say its alternative fuel for a propane-powered vehicleI can have someone come to me and fill my tanks for $3.50 per gallon. Why would anyone bring their tanks to this location to be filled for $3.61 per gallon? When the average price for propane in CA is only $3.24 per gallon. This guy Ernie gives me trouble every time he fills my tanks. My tanks are only 3 years old and look new. Ernie always says my tanks are out of date and he will not give the price discount his manager told me about. The manager of this location Melissa Easley is the one that told me because my tanks are over 5 gallons and are used for a RV aka propane-powered vehicle I get a discount. Now for some reason this location and manager can pick and choose who is eligible for a discount. I should not have to start providing documentation on what Im using the propane in.With all the different replies U-Haul Customer Service has sent me I expect higher standards in training and with more consistent pricing throughout Locations, Managers and Employees.I am very disappointed in the changes this location has made. After 2 1 /2 years of being a repeat U-Haul customer Im going to look for a more reputable company to start doing business with. Somewhere that wants to keep me coming back year after year and wont treat me like Im lying about the use of my propane.
