Budget Car Rental
600 Parker Rd, Fairfield, CA 94533, United States
Steer clear of this particular location. So sketchy. We rented a car for a few days and everything started off great- we extended another few days and Alfred said that it would be for the same daily rate. When we showed up to return the car, he presented a bill to us about $150 higher than what we were expecting. After a lot of back and forth, he finally honored the deal he offered us initially. I would probably not have bothered to write a review if that were where it ended, but then three weeks later we got a surprise $479 fee (almost as much as the car rental for the week). No explanation, no heads up. I called into the main Budget office and they said it was for a cleaning fee.We had taken the car to the beach and our kids got a bit of sand on the floors (not a crazy amount). My wife and I actually asked him to come out of the office and look at the car and asked him if we should go vacuum it out. He looked it over, said that it was fine, no problem, and that we were good to go. My wife even told me that I was being over the top but I wanted to make sure that we were totally settled up.All I can say is that Ive been renting cars on occasion for almost 20 years and I have never had anything like this happen. Enterprise has been nothing but a great experience, and I havent had a bad experience with Budget before this. It all comes down to this particular business owner- trust me, stay away.
Avis Car Rental
600 Parker Rd, Fairfield, CA 94533, United States
The staff at this location is very rude and unprofessional. We had an issue with the car we rented, called Avis customer service who advised we should drop it off with any Avis location for a different vehicle. The lady working seemed annoyed by us telling her this and then took a phone call and proceeded to rent a car to someone over the phone while us, another customer, and a tow truck driver were standing in line. We had forgotten to put gas in the car, so we left to do that, came back, waited while she was rude to someone else, and then she started on our paperwork, with breaks in between to call someone else to talk about a tow truck driver she had ignored earlier who it seems was tired of being ignored so he set out to load the truck he was supposed to tow into his truck. She finally got our paperwork set and did a walk around of the car for damages, she walk away and we got in and the car smelled like someone had been smoking in it and was fairly dirty. She argued when I told her it smelled like smoke and that led to another ordeal of slowly executed paperwork, during which I asked to see the next car first to avoid any of the same issues before she finished the paperwork and was told she had already finished it (not true) and after 10 minutes when she actually finished the paperwork she again refused when I asked to see it before I signed. Thankfully the second car was fine.If you can rent from another location you should.

After having terrible service from other Uhaul locations, we REALLY appreciate the outstanding customer service our family received from this Uhaul location. We were moving cross country and had to rent a small van a few times to pack up and transport furniture and other larger items to donation centers. We always received kind, courteous service from this location without exception. Uhaul corporate should take notice of this and maybe send some of their managers at other locations to learn about good customer and general good manners from this location. If you need to rent a Uhaul, give your business to this location... or risk having to deal with incompetence and headaches while dealing with other locations (like we had to for our cross country move using their moving pod boxes). To the gentleman who runs this location: keep up the good work. You are head and shoulders above your peers.

People should know before hand; that they have very early hours that u have to abide by or get evicted.of coarse i found out the hard way. The sales people online & on the 800 u haul main office will offer u. 24 hr. Entry if thats what u want. U might get an additional but very fair charge for that. But it doesnt matter. They dont allow any flexibility in their hours. And very deceiving because, youll see and hear people actively working in the building. I dont get it. But Im ok with it now, because its storage & i just had to realize, understand, Agree, and schedule. Much easier than planning to do it all again. Wow. The truck, the help, the days off work. And thats after the footwork of shopping for a new place. Shop SMART The First Time INTO IT. ?

AVOID THIS LOCATION ESPECIALLY IF YOURE OF DARKER COMPLEXION THE MAN WORKING THIS LOCATION IS EXTREMELY RACIST. I tried to rent from here and was told that he was completely out. No eye contact, no trying to offer any solutions at all. I was with my friend who is a white and I had a feeling so I asked her to go and try and what do you know within 10 minutes all of a sudden the exact same thing I was trying to rent which was “sold out” had become vacant for my friend. AVOID AVOID AVOID if this is the type of people UHAUL has representing their business I want nothing to do with it!!!

Too bad one star is as low as I can go....Following a quote, I signed up for their services. As I was paying through escrow, they swore I wouldnt get charged... but took payment info as a matter of policy.WELL... you guessed it! I was DOUBLE charged!!! Escrow and debited from my checking... THUS causing a series of checks to bounce. If only the refund was as quick as their debits! It took every bit of 2 weeks, but I guess I need to be thankful I got ANYTHING done from their back office. Finally, after three months of service, I was canceled for non-payment. Even though it was clearly paid in full--- TWICE, I allegedly had an arrearage and was canceled. Not one notice of delinquency, rate changes, OR even a call from the agent booking the sale!!!!Rationale given: I moved! DUH! Thats why I needed the insurance!!! Thats why you quoted the address!!!!! They reserved the right to increase my rates at anytime?!?!?! Regardless of the law, the contract, and unethical they behave....Mistakes happen. But to not have insurance, failure to refund, and even failure to communicate at any level.... inexcusable!!I finally had to get a full and total refund from Nationwide, their parent company.STAY-A-WAY!!!!!! Over sold and under performance, I hate to need to file a claim!
Real Property Management Select
622 Jackson St Suite 101, Fairfield, CA 94533, United States
This company has been managing my property in Martinez for two years. Every aspect of my experience with them has been a disaster. Here is just a short list of why this is the LAST COMPANY you should ever use. I cannot stress it enough, I would not allow them, to manage a doghouse.1 - Gave anyone a combo to go look at my house without supervision. It took them 4 months to rent it. I went back in and found blinds pulled down and doors unlocked.2 - Mishandled the State taxes.3- ZERO meaningful communication.4- Only collect money and do nothing to make sure the lease is followed.5- I gave them notice but didnt follow the exact process they defined. They strung me along until the window to get rid of them passed.6- No direct contact information. There is no accountability or personalized service. they have a group mailbox and phones.7- Completely incompetent on top of showing no sense of urgency or customer serviceability.8- They insisted that they were listed under my homeowners insurance as additionally insured which Mercury insurance doesnt do. Instead, they have a Management company section just for that. They brought this up now that I have given them notice to end the relationship in November. a Blatant attempt at harassment in my last month and a half.
