Budget Car Rental

I rented a car for a week while my car was being worked on. The expedia site said if i rent through budget then it is ok to cancel without being charged for it. I didnt know when my car would be ready so I rented a car for a week through the only budget in town. It was due back on 1030a on 4/20. at 730am I began calling the auto repair shop to see if my car was ready yet. No one got back to me or answered the phone. By 10am I still didnt have an answer about whether or not my car was fixed yet so I went online to rent a car for another week and put down the pick up time as 1030am because that is the time I was returning the rental car I had. Then I headed to budget rental to return my rental and pick up a new rental. On the way to Budget the auto repair shop called and said my car was fixed and ready for pick up. This meant I wasnt going to need to rent a car for another week and so when I got to Budget to return my rental I told them I did not need another rental because the auto repair was finished on my car. The girl at the counter told me a number to call to cancel the reservation. When I called to cancel, Gabby, told me it will cost me $150 to cancel. I asked to talk to Gabbys supervisor. When I spoke to John he told me that I because I went to the Budget email to make a new reservation, instead of the Expedia email, that the OK to Cancel without being charged wasnt available. I responded that is ridiculous. Why would it be different on different sites unless the purpose is to gaslight Budget customers. He said I didnt cancel before 24 hours of the reservation time. I responded there was not 24 hours between the the time I made the reservation to the cancellation time, only about a half hour. There was not a 24 hour period of reservation to cancellation. I should not be charged for the cancellation. At the end of our conversation John told me that he would not charge me for the reservation or the cancellation. Now I see that the charge has been made!!!!!!

Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Please, dont just read my review. Search other low rated reviews before doing business with Enterprise. My story is similar to a few others on here. I was having work done at a dealership here in Redding, on my own vehicle. That dealership set up my rental through Enterprise so all I had to do was show up and pick up the vehicle. 3 weeks after I drop the vehicle back off at Enterprise, they charge my Debit card an additional $50.00 because they said the dealership wouldnt pay. 2 things about that. 1st, its not my problem. Enterprise has an agreement of some sort with Lithia. So when the two of them disagree on something, like a bill, they turn it back around on the customer to make it difficult on the customer, knowing it is now up to us (the customer) to get our money back.That is dirty pool, Enterprise. Not cool.Second. The employees are Enterprise will flat out lie to you about the cost of a vehicle and what they will actually charge you when it is all said and done.Do not do business with this company. What should have been a 1 day rental and a 50.00 total charge has turned into a 3 week nightmare where I have received 3 very unprofessional phone calls, wasted 4 additional hours of my time, and incurred 4 overdraft fees all becauseENTERPRISE CHARGED MY DEBIT CARD MORE MONEY 3 WEEKS AFTER THE TRANSACTION HAD CONCLUSED.Last thing. Do not pay attention to whatever response Enterprise puts as a response to this review. If they wanted to make things right, they wouldnt do this to people in the first place.Would not recommend.0 StarsEpic FailTruly disappointed that what should have been a 1 day rental at 50 dollars has now turned into an hours long ordeal, that not including gas or reimbursement for my time has cost my just over $250.00.Oh, to be fair, Benny over there is a nice guy. He listened to my issue, and really wanted to help because he knows Enterprise did wrong.

Red Bluff Enterprise has been nothing but good to me, I have rented multiple times from 1 week to a full month. I have not ever had a single issue with any of the employees and they are always extremely professional and nice. I am glad they are getting back to the normal hours again, at one point it was hard for them with not having enough people causing the hours to be very limited, however it never really affected me. Anytime I have asked for an extension on a rental the process has been very easy, I just would have to run to the location and sign for the extension also the vehicles are always clean and if they dont have the one you reserved they usually upgrade to something better, if you end up in something your not comfortable driving as I did in a 4 runner I felt like I was gonna tip over on the freeway or something anyways I just gave them a call and took it in to the Redding location as they are affiliated and was given a different vehicle that was more comfortable for me to drive. Alot of people dont know the Redding and Red Bluff locations are really great locations and have some really amazing employees working at the both of them. If you communicate on things they usually dont hesitate to fix issues I learned from experience and these two locations are the only ones I rent from. The locations are both always clean and they double check the rentals before they sign them out to you to make sure they are clean. Theres also a 200 dollar deposit for the rental if your using your debit card it clearly states it when you sign the contract not sure about online but clearly says it when you sign at the location the 200 dollars is refundable they dont just keep your money they say 5 to 7 days or something it usually only takes about 3 or 4 for it to go back in my account.

The lady that provided us a rental to move my grandmother didnt give my father any paperwork for his truck showing the rental, added insurance, or anything. The truck was not cleaned out and had glass in it from someones last move that injured a family member and the front right passenger tire was half bald down the middle! No walk through or check was done of the truck just the keys were handed over and no paperwork given so we cant review her store on Uhauls website without the reservation number. Driving in town let alone if youre to take a highway on a bald tire is so dangerous. Never renting outside of the main Uhaul store again.

Rods Radiator is now my top location to rent Uhaul trailers for daily use. The husband and wife are kind, courteous and provide great customer service. They even helped replace a fuse in my fuse box to get the trailer lights back to operational. I will be back to rent from Rods Radiator and recommend you to as well.

I wish I could give half a star or zero stars lol, not a good start for a business review.I moved from Arizona to Redding with my stuff in a U Haul trailer, unfortunately in July which was HOT (117 degrees). The place I was first told to take my trailer to was Direct Sales Furniture, you can go there to read my review of them if you want, they cussed me out simply for bringing my trailer to them which my official U Haul paperwork told me to do. I ended up at this U Haul location on Cypress which also didnt want it.They told me to leave and take it somewhere else after corporate told me to take it here after Direct A**hole Sales told me to take it somewhere else. When I finally talked to someone in the regional management of U Haul in that area they said to take go back in to put the rep on the phone (on my cell phone), who then proceeded to cuss out the U Haul corporate rep and throw my phone down on the counter and started helping someone else. Apparently the store employees are not on the same page as the corporate customer service folks. The in store people told me to take it somewhere else because they supposedly didnt have space for it while the reps on phone told me to take it to them (Cypress store) because the computer showed they DID have space for it. I almost decided to keep it or just dump it by the side of the road since nobody wanted it but I knew they would later say I stole the trailer and charge me for it.I went back and forth, into the store, back out into my 117 degree hot truck. The store manager was totally disrespectful and walked out at some point and left his workers to handle the line of customers. I will grant them it was hot out and that would be very hard to deal with but figure it out, work out more frequent brakes, keep the ac blowing, keep drinking water when its hot out, dont cuss out your customers and refuse to do your job. Apparently their computers werent working either, so ok does business stop? Get out a pen and paper and keep it going. Im your customer and IM hot too and Im never coming back to this place because you made me sit in your hot a** parking lot for over an hour!Finally an employee manned up and took my trailer and logged it so I could get on with my day with the peace of mind that I wont be charged a late fee or anything stupid.The customer service rep told me I would get a partial refund for the trouble I went through not just with this U Haul location but also the Direct Sales fiasco. When I got a call from the regional manager he said theres no refund for me but they are very sorry yes Im sure.These guys are very rude and disrespectful, dont walk, run away from this business!

I have both rented and shopped here twice this year once for my own move and move for my mothers both times I was helped by this gentlemen Kris and the first time I rented a truck was very rude during the hole process and when I went to retire the truck 10 mins before u haul closed he would not check in the truck for me he said I had to do it myself with an app and when I asked for help he was very rude and not helpful what so ever he said that if I didnt check it in that night or in the morning he was going to charge me again for another day. With no help and being there by myself at closing time out side of u haul I decided to drive the truck home and do it in the morning. Came back the next morning and was thankful that the guy Kris was not there the other man was very polite and check it in no problem. A couple months pass and my mom had to move some family had order things for us to help with the move we went to the u haul place. And saw that Kris the guy we had problems with before was there we went to pick up the order and he said because it I was not under my name but my mothers name I could not pick it up I explained to him that my mother is disabled and couldnt come to the store. He argued with me I showed him that I had the same last name as her with my ID and he let us finally take it but in the process of picking everything that was order he did not help that all just said that this and this is what was bought u can take it out to your car. I was shock that he didnt not offer help with our big purchase of boxes then outside he had issues getting the bigger boxes in my car we saw a guy with a truck checking in a trailer and asked him for help with the bigger boxes he said yes and we waited for him to get checked in 40 mins later he was still not checked in and Kris was very rude to him as well only wanted to help the women that was in there that at the end didnt buy anything. After a hour of waiting he was checked in and we left. This person should not be in customer service in my opinion you should go above and beyond for your customers that pay good money to move especially since moving is so stressful as it is we dont need someone making our lives even more stressful. For now on if I need anything from u haul I will call ahead of time and if he is there I will not shop there until he is off or the next day when other people are working.

Drive all the way down from Oregon to help family, booked this in advance so we knew we would be able to do this trip . And we get there and they gave our reservation away and didnt have another available. That wasted a whole day and ended up wasting hundreds of dollars on my account cause I then had to figure out other accommodations. Will never do that again.
