Enterprise Rent-A-Car
21445 Soledad Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91350, United States
I wish I could say it was a pleasant experience; however, it was anything but that. I received a luxury class vehicle for a weekend trip. That evening before leaving I attempted to open the truck and load luggage to find that the trunk wouldnt open with the key fob or dashboard switch. Roadside assistance wasnt able to resolve the problem. So they directed me to drive the vehicle to an airport Enterprise to exchange it. This shows me that the vehicles trunk was probably never opened between rentals even to be cleaned. Maybe just an oversight.Driving it at night I found that the dashboard display kept popping on indicating that the hood was open. These types of problems can occur even in a well maintained vehicle.I was informed by the rental person that the windows had been tinted by the prior renter; however, they believed it was an added benefit! While driving the vehicle at night for the first time to exchange it. I discovered that the side windows were so dark that the mirrors were barely visible at all. Clearly much darker than the law permits. I drove the vehicle on side streets at night for about 45 minutes just to get it safely to the airport. They exchanged the vehicle without difficulty and admitted that it was negligent for them to have rented the vehicle in the first place. They were quite pleasant to deal with.To me knowingly renting this vehicle in this condition displayed malicious disregard for the safety of this customer. Upon returning the second vehicle I explained what had happened to the manager only to be told that he didnt really think it was that much of a problem. Its hard to trust or have any confidence in the integrity of a company that would respond dismissively to such obvious mechanical, electrical and most of all safety issues. Clearly Enterprise was not even interested in listening to my complaints let alone addressing them properly. Enterprise has been my car rental company of choice mostly because I have a local office. It will be worth the inconvenience to find a more customer oriented company to do business with in the future.

Rent It Truck Rentals Santa Clarita
23228 Magic Mountain Pkwy, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
I had a very good experience with this outfit on an 830mi round trip, Tim is a straight shooter, so dont treat the equipment like its yours, especially if your sloppy, if you get direction from management, follow it to the letter and you will have a great experience as well. Rule of Thumb leave it better than you got it. A little pride and effort on your part goes a long way when trucks are needed by the minute.A little Advice if your in a cab over truck buy a decent seat cushion spend the extra $20 and keep away from cuck holes in the highway, your back will appreciate it. Beyond that, equipment was very nice powerful and well maintained, more than i can say for the orange and yellow guys. Oh, his prices, very very fair. Thank you..

Exclusive Sedan Service
24609 Arch St, Santa Clarita, CA 91321, United States
Over $800 for a 3 stop service?! The service did not arrive till 2 hours after first reserved pickup time. Driver did not assist with installing of Child Safety Seat in services vehicle. Exclusive Sedan Service did not provide proper pick-up information needed for client, reservationist provided all necessary information for, what was supposed to be, a smooth airport pick-up. Then Driver proceeded to NOT contact client when arriving at the airport, client had to call reservationist to locate driver.

We first were recommended to Steve Tampus around December 2020, by a realtor we were working with via Redfin/NextHome apps. It was originally our intention to keep our first home, and buy a second as our mortgage officer at the time said it shouldnt be a problem after reviewing our finances. We were all set to go with our original lender when Steve came in and promised he could close just as fast, and also get our downpayment from 20% down to 15%. Our realtor also advised us that it would be better to work with a local lender as our offer may not be taken seriously by the buyer of our dream home. While this advice rubbed us the wrong way, we chose Steve anyway because we had missed a few homes in November from overbid offers. He ensured us that while we were both at new jobs for over 6 months, our six months of paystubs and our taxes should be sufficient in getting our loan processed. After reviewing our file over the weekend, he advised us that we would need to sell our first home in order to qualify for the lower downpayment. We wanted this house so bad, we had our agent list our first home, and accepted the first offer tossed our way because we didnt want our home sale to affect the closing of our new dream home. After weeks of going back and forward with Steves team, and getting our first home into Escrow, we were now almost at the end of week 2 for our Escrow. Steve informed us underwriter was reviewing our files and we should know by this coming Monday (1/3/21). It was Tuesday 1/4/21, when we received the grim news. The underwriter declined our loan because they did not like that my wife was making more income then I. We even had the owner of our company write a letter explaining why she was hired with a higher pay.We were on a trip in Tahoe with our kids when we received the bad news and it seems discriminatory that they would call my wifes pay fishy. Thankfully, we did not lose our dream home as we went back to our original lender (C2 Financial Corp), and fortunately they were so good that they were able to close in TEN days without any hiccups. Stevens team never even refunded back the inspection that his team ordered and never used. We will work on charging this back, as they never return calls or emails.TLDR: Was all set to offer on our dream home, but our showing agent recommended using a local lender to be taken seriously. Steve and team were responsive originally, but as the weeks went on and the escrow clock was ticking they failed us in the worse way possible. We could still have our first home, and not just our dream home had we not listened to these people. The whole ordeal felt shady, almost mafia like. Even the buyers of our current home did not like anyone from Augusta and Keller Williams VIP.

Central Park
27150 Bouquet Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91350, United States
It's huge and gorgeous even in winter when the trees are bare. However, there's only 1 bathroom for this park that is many blocks in all directions. We stopped at Stawberry Fields- a monument for John Lennon who was killed across the street from it in front of his apartment building. Walked for a bit near the lake. We had lunch from a food cart- nothing spectacular and I recommend avoiding them because they're expensive and not very good. I have seen so many movies with bicycle and horse drawn carriages and thought it would be cool to hire one to take us around the park. Nope. Not for $4.99-14.99 per MINUTE for the bicycle drawn carriage. I asked about a flat rate to go from the American Museum of Natural History to the Guggenheim. One guy wanted $35 and the other wanted $55. That's for about ½ mile. No idea how much the horse drawn carriage is because none were around. If you visit you must go during daylight hours- too dark otherwise.

AutoNation Chevrolet Valencia
23649 Valencia Blvd, Santa Clarita, CA 91355, United States
I'll start this off by saying that I bought my Chevy Equinox from this dealership, brand new in 2018. Since I bought it I have only been here for all my oil changes and anything that needed repairs- even though I could have gone somewhere cheaper for repairs, I stuck to the dealership since I thought that they would do great work. The customer service experience alone is enough to never want to deal with any Chevy dealership ever again. I won't ever buy a Chevy again. They have not apologized or taken responsibility for poor service and communication over the course of 3 weeks. Even contacting the corporate number was a waste of time. They have yet to call back. Nobody has reached out to apologize or taken accountability for anything. I'm a healthcare worker who does home health. I NEED my car for work everyday to drive to my patient's houses in the valley. It's my livelihood. These people don't care and they never offered me a car to use in any of this process. So I've had to pay for a rental car. I had to pay a $225 diagnostic fee that I don't believe I should have had to pay. My car had no issues before coming here to get an oil change. I'll never recommend Chevy to anyone. I will spread the terrible experience I've had with them and corporate as much as I can so that nobody gets screwed over like I did.Tuesday, May 14th: my husband decided to just take the car up to the Chevy dealership. He explained to them the problems that have all now come up out of nowhere. - brakes are making a clicking noise (I have a video of this) - I would stop at a light and the car took a bit to really go— like cars were honking at me but I couldn't do anything since it came out of nowhere - Multiple lights popped up on dashboard - The front right tire sounded like it was about to fall off Here's where the problems really began. The customer service at Chevy told us that they were really busy and would have to schedule an appointment to have the tire looked at on another day. They also told my husband that they didn't touch anything on my car, all they did was rotate tires & change the oil. Do you think the manager and service guy even took a look at my car? NO. They just automatically got defensive and said there's no way to prove my car wasn't already having these issues. SO EVEN THOUGH THE DEALERSHIP ROTATED MY TIRES & I AM NOW TELLING THEM THAT A TIRE SOUNDS LIKE IT'S GOING TO FALL OFF, THEY WILL STILL LET YOU DRIVE AWAY. My problem is this— I don't care if you're busy because so am I. I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation a few days before. YOU messed my car up so YOU should take responsibility and fix my tire right now because if it falls off when I drive away, I'm in danger. Clearly they don't care though and that's been obvious throughout this. We ended up bringing the car to them on Friday, May 17th to get the tire fixed and also have a diagnostic test done which costs $225. Fast forward to Monday- my husband calls twice to get the status on the car, but is told someone will call back. Nobody ever did. On Tuesday he calls twice, nobody ever calls back. Wednesday, May 22nd: my husband goes up to the dealership and demands an update since nobody has time to call back. Finally they tell him that they're still working on it. He did get loud with them, but we were tired of the unprofessional, nonchalant, carelessness that we had been receiving. There's more, but it ends with me going in to pickup my car and waiting 40 minutes before leaving without my car because they LOST my car keys. Of course they didn't contact me back at all to let me know when they had them. No apologies either.
