It seemed a good deal at first decent price for a rental car but then they add the special fees like tourism fees and others that Jack the price almost to double what is advertised. I suggest not to rent from the airport. My mistake live and learn.

I went to her for car insurance and she got it for me. It was handled and then she cancelled it and sent me a check with less than the amount owed back. She said she charged me a higher rate. I'm not upset about the higher rate, that happens to insurance. I immediately asked for a receipt and have been asking for a receipt for a month now, just to see where my money went, because the math is not adding up. She refuses to give me a receipt. She keeps saying she will get back to me with it. The first receipt of the lower amount she said she would originally charge me was sent by the next day after speaking with her.I really do believe she just ran off with $700 without saying where it went.All I've been asking for is a receipt. If her competency level can't even get her client a receipt, what else can you trust her with?Shouldn't be that hard to get a receipt from a national business you gave money to. Right?She shouldn't be able to charge me one amount and then realize she did it wrong and then send me a check with barely any money on it and no receipt and cancel my insurance? Right?

This State Farm office is by far the BEST IN THE BUSINESS. These State Farm agents will treat you like you are their one and only customer and they will bend over backwards to make sure that their customers are happy and have the best insurance coverage possible no matter what one is looking for; homeowners, workers compensation, auto, business liability, etc. Their rates are by far the most cost-effective no matter what type of coverage one is in need of. They will even reopen a claim that had been closed due to a lack of response from the customer. I have direct knowledge my claim as it was MY OWN PARENTS that failed to provide timely responses in order for State Farm to properly handle their claim but sure enough State Farm did indeed reopen the claim They are SIMPLY THE BEST all the way around. I was referred to State Farm by my best friend. She lived on a cul de sac, here in San Diego, which was affected by wildfires. Out of 13 homes on the street, 7 were destroyed by fire, and the other 6 suffered severe smoke damage. Every single homeowner had to make an insurance claim. Since all the neighbors were going through the same thing, it was very clear which insurance companies were taking care of their customers and which were not. State Farm stood out above the rest. My friend and her family were one of the first ones back in their home. State Farm found them really nice temporary housing while the repairs were made. I cant say enough good things about the Lund Team and my agent, Kate Gebhart, specifically. Giving this place one star is being too good to them, its at times like this that I wish there were negative stars.We went car shopping last weekend and finally found the car we were looking for. I was so exited and we rushed to finalize the deal. We wanted to enjoy the rest of the day with our new car! By the time the paperwork was over and all the things settled they told us we that in order to leave the dealer premises we needed to have a full coverage insurance on the newly bought car, (which is kind of understandable but still I wish theyd tell us before hand to have some heads up on the matter) or have a full coverage insurance that could transfer to any vehicle you drive. With this being our first car we obviously did not have the insurance ready to go and so the dealer offered to connect us with an insurance company that was supposed to have the best prices you could find. We started talking to the representative and as usual she was super nice, we didnt have any problems and everything was going smoothly, the price was expensive for a months worth of coverage to what she told us to be because they needed a deposit (a 300 dlls deposit to be exact) and that it would be credited to the next months if we decided to stay. She also assured us we would be able to get our deposit back if we found a different insurance en next business day with no problem. We did. As soon as we walked out we tried to find an insurance agency that would beat the best prices they offered us and we had no problem doing so. The problem was when we tried to call them and cancel our policy with them. At first they said they were super busy, when we were finally able to talk to them they told us we could in fact cancel the policy but there was no deposit to be given back because that was watt they had self handed taken as a brokers fee we never knew about this fee who would sign a 300 brokers fee!!! Now they dont even pick up the phone!!! I urge you guys to carefully check all the paperwork you sign with this people because we were not careful enough and now they ripped us off $300!!!Just unbelievable!!!

I drive a 2009 Honda Accord which I bought new and have maintained regularly (oil, tires, brakes, battery, etc.). It now has 137,000 miles and the car has performed flawlessly for 15 years. My basic maintenance schedule has been consistent but I failed to perform any major check-ups or tune-ups since my last dealer visit at 70,000 miles.Recently I was running late and ran over a concrete parking bumper at Vons, heard a loud “crunch”, then noticed an oil leak on my garage floor. I took my Honda into Carlsbad Auto Service to repair what I thought was just the oil pan. Not only was the oil pan fatally cracked but my 67,000 miles of deferred check-ups produced other issues that I can summarize as mostly worn out original factory parts.I was impressed by Carlsbad Auto Service’s prompt, thorough and transparent analysis. The same morning I brought the car in, they e-mailed me a detailed document with technical descriptions of each issue they observed, backed up by clear photographs. A second attachment was a detailed estimate of the costs to repair or replace each item. The shop also prioritized the problems based on severity and the impact on driving safety (if left unaddressed). Some were serious and urgent. After a technical and patient phone review with Josh (an excellent service advisor), we agreed on a repair plan, prioritizing the most urgent issues first. The repairs were performed promptly with no surprise costs and the car has been driving flawlessly since. I am currently budgeting for the remaining less-critical but important repairs.I brought my Honda in on Thursday right before the three-day Memorial Day weekend. Because I had multiple repairs performed, there was no way to finish the job before the weekend. I was impressed when Josh proactively offered to rent a car for my convenience over the holiday. The rental agency (Greenleaf, also excellent) sent a Lyft driver to my home, took me to their Carlsbad office and provided me with a relatively new Toyota Camry, all at no charge to me. When my Honda was ready and I turned in the rental, Greenleaf promptly provided me with shuttle service back to the shop, again at no charge.Car repairs are never “fun”, but Carlsbad Auto Service made the entire process as smooth, transparent, trustworthy and professional as I could imagine. They’ve earned my business from now on.

After receiving a flyer in the mail today from Jaguar Carlsbad extolling their highly trained technicians and cutting-edge diagnostic equipment I just had to share the experience we had at their dealership.We have a 2007 XJ8 with only 67K miles and we love it. Obviously we dont drive it too often, mostly for luxury trips to Vegas. Unfortunately, due to infrequent operation, the battery died and it wasnt until we had to get our smog renewal test that the onboard ECU had lost the data required to pass the test. Under California law, smog testing now requires 100% of all test criteria to pass or no registration renewal will be given.We figured not a big deal and were told to just drive the car on a few local trips and the computer would collect the necessary data and then it would reset the monitors and pass the smog test. So we drove the car over 200 miles at different times and distances over the next two weeks, but no luck, we were told by the dealership we just needed to drive it some more. Over then next 3 weeks we drove another 650 miles, here, there, and everywhere, but the ECU wouldnt reset.Now, with the renewal deadline approaching fast, we decided to have the Jaguar Carlsbad service department solve the problem, which they said theyd be happy to do . . . of course for a fee. Fine, we just need to get our beloved XJ8 license renewed, which we cant do until it passes the State smog test.Rather then drag through al the sordid details, bottom line Jaguar Carlsbad had the car for 4 days, ran test after test, put ice on the motor to make it think it was winter, on and on. However, when we were told we could come and pickup the car, (1) the ECU computer still wouldnt reset properly to pass the test, and (2) we were our over $400 for their expert service support.So how did we get our XJ8 registered? We had to make an appointment through the State for a California Smog Check Referee program from the Bureau of Automotive Repair to have the vehicle analyzed. For us, the closest location was in Hemet, CA . . . another long drive. The technician worked with the car for over and hour, evaluated all the various operating functions the old fashion way using tailpipe sniffers and more.The outcome: The technician was satisfied that the vehicle met all the necessary California smog guidelines and authorized the license renewal, even though the ECU monitors still were not properly set. As he handed us the paperwork he admonished that in two years when our renewal hit and smog would be required, there would be no ability to obtain another waiver.But knowing we had a two year reprieve to enjoy riding in or 2007 XJ8 made the day feel much better and helped to wipe away the frustration of dealing with Jaguar Carlsbad who couldnt figure out how their own car worked!Is this an unusual situation, you bet it is. Could Jaguar Carlsbad been more business savvy . . . Absolutely.When they realized their best technicians could figure our why THEIR Jaguar automobile wouldnt perform per factory specifications I would have thought the manager would have said:Were really sorry and we just cant figure out whats wrong with your car. Youll need to apply to the State of California for special smog testing dispensation. But to make up for your trouble, not having your car for 4 days, and having to travel somewhere for additional testing . . . We wont be charging you for not finding the problem. Agai8n, were really sorry aboutTHATS NOT WHAT I HEARD! Instead, in essence, I heard HERE IS YOUR BILL FOR OVER $300 FOR NOTHINGEPILOGUE: December 2021 - Although we were able to finally get the Jaguar to pass smog we knew a new car would be in our future so a few months ago we began looking seriously.We like the newer Jaguars but with the lack of reliable service we kept looking.
