Update: Manager came out and was very helpful in assisting me. Was able to a least get a car to take care of business and enjoy my vacation.Very disappointed. Arrived in California on vacation I expecting to pick up my car and was told “I’m sorry, we sold out.” No courtesy call no nothing just told there was a “glitch” in their system and that I could pick up my car tomorrow. I contacted corporate office to complain but the representative transferred be to the grievance line overseas and the at rep rushed me off the phone. I normally rent at airport locations and thought it would be safe to rent from an auto mall location. Ive spent too much money with this rental car agency. Not a happy camper.

I want to share the horrible experience I had with this location. I made reservations over the weekend late March to pick up a rental car that following Monday. I was already verified and was told just to bring my I.D and my debit card as well and then I would be on my way. Soon as I got there it was already a few people waiting to get their rentals as well. I was next in line and Dealt with Peter looking up my reservation. Upon first checking Peter informed me I was $1.37 short on my debit card and that I needed my paystub as well and to go to the bank just to deposit the $1.37. I drove to the opposite side of town obtained my paystub and deposited the $1.37 into my checking account. Soon as I walked back into this location, I noticed I was the only customer in there and Peter and the White Male manager walked past me talking to each other. When Peter finally acknowledged that I was there he immediately had a tone of disappointment and or bad news. Peter looked at my paystub and told me that he was sorry but they can not rent me a car because I do not have enough In home care clients. I was beyond shocked because these people sent me out twice just for me to come back and be denied because of Racial Profiling. I was already verified and even called corporate and they said they were shocked they would not rent to me. I then called the auto circle location and explained the racial profiling experience I had and the lady told me she doesn't know why they did not rent to me because I am verified and ready to go for a rental. So then she apologized for their lack of professionalism and booked me later that day for a rental. I would never go back to the Hunter st location they are very unprofessional and will walk right past you with a smirk. Corporate has been made aware of the racial profiling I've received for no apparent reason and I am looking forward to resolving this issue and for the inconvenience. Also I found out today through corporate I still have a open rental contract with the Hunter st. location but they did not let me rent a car. Seems like Scam artists and racial profiling going on at this location.

Every year, my parents rent a car from here to visit my brother. Sometimes, I’m a driver on those contracts too.This year though, suddenly, my ID (state of California ID) isn’t good enough. Now I was asked to provide the following (a list only fully understood as each thing was deemed by Manager Jose -if that’s even his name- as inadequate)My work email address. (Disqualified because it had to be on some physical item to be inspected by Jose)My work ID - which was looked at and handed back.3 personal references (which my mother gave as her, my dad, and my brother- all of whom have the exact same address as I do)And finally, a utility bill. Which, I’m sorry, but I didn’t bring my mail to the car rental office? Do you all do that? Bring 3 forms of ID and 3 personal references to get added on as a driver? Is this new?Enterprise, trust me. I will work hard to avoid you for our work travel, and next year, we will book through another agency. Appreciate the fancy new offices, they look nice. But Jose- I don’t know what his problem is. Thank him for this review, and we won’t see you.

Worst customer service experience. We call and make a reservation. Whoever first inout our information input a number in their system that is black listed and saying we couldnt rent because we owed them something. Then they put us through some customer service line to clear our name and then they notice that it was their mistake and they used the wrong phone number and address? Then they fail to tell us about the deposit and insurance she just put it in there. Thankfully someone from the district was there and scolded her about not letting us know which was still unprofessional to scold her in front of customers. Then tell us we have to keep the rental because they are closed, therefore we get charged a whole day when we didnt even need it. The next day they call and call saying that we could have just dropped it off outside and let the guards know? They never told us that, their only concern was to make the other customers seem like it wasnt their fault. When I go in she starts blaming my fiancé and saying that she told me when she didnt and she was putting on her makeup? If we ever need a rental we might consider budget but NEVER this place.

I needed a rental vehicle bad, Id called around to rental car agencies before Id even thought about zipcar however since the pandemic everythings closing early unfortunately my last option was zip car. Upon me looking online for zip cars near me University of the Pacific comes up. And shows theres cars available, sooo I go ahead and take my time signing up, paying an application fee of $25.00 this is how deeply I needed a vehicle at this moment, upon me finishing my application and being approved, I go back to the site to reserve a vehicle and viola theres no cars available!!! Omggg had I know this would not had signed up nor would I had paid a 25.00 application fee. I then call in to customer service and let them know my concern and asked for a refund its only been 10 mins since Id paid the application fee and completed the online steps, the customer service representative says we cant refund you because those fees goes to the authorities to help for approving you, you can get zip cars all around the world I replied I just needed one for today and the information I was shawn on availabilty for cars in my area was not accurate, explaining myself over again. There was no concern from customer service and just lack of help in the issue I was facing with this signing up. I know theres a pandemic and many companies are barely getting services in which customer and their customer service plays a big part in that as well it seems that they are trying to hold on to each and every dollar they can even if its unethical which is sad, these are the time they should appreciate their customers most! After instalation I left and immediately began having issues with my device. I called and turned around just to be informed that all the service techs had left early that day and I wouldnt be able to have the issue resolved until later on. After getting home I realized my device wasnt allowing me to start my vehicle anymore. I called and let them know what was going on and ended up having to argue with managment because they were wanting to charge me for the mobile mechanic to come out. After the mechanic came out we determined it was the device and he failed to bring a device with him. They then wanted me to go to there Modesto facility to fetch the device. I refused so they ended up bringing me one where but apparently needed to go in immediately to have it calibrated.Im now locked out of the vehicle and am being told I owe them for a damaged device that was literally broken when they installed it. Not to mention I tried to return it immediately but wasnt able to. I did purchase insurance on the device and so instead of charging me 1,800 they are only charging me 250 which wasnt disclosed to me upon instalation. Im now waiting on a call from theyre supervisor and will be informing them that I will not be continuing service with them.i have a weird feeling that they will be attempting to charge me a early termination action fee of 250 as well but Im just speculating at this point.I highly incorage anyone in need of a interlock to search ellswhere. This place has been nothing but a headach for me minutes after leaving theyre shop. Also, Amanda is no longer with them so there is that. The other technicians dont really seem like they know what they are doing. Apparently....

This insurance company is fraud. If I was you guys I would not hire them to be your insurance company for your car home boat. One of their clients hit me and I hit-and-run and they claim that theres no evidence of no car accident or nothing like that and I have a license plate number and I have a police report. This insurance company tried to tell me that theyre client. Didnt give the person driving their car permission. Are they cant find a driver? The person without a town shes telling me all of this like this is my business. This has nothing to do with me. And they have not even paid. Are there not even considering paying me? From my accident theyre quiet. Hit me and now I have to suffer without getting paid. It seems like the insurance people get over on people and the attorneys get over on people

ANGIE and TRACY are hands down the best reps I've ever had. They handle my brothers business needs and our personal needs including my health insurance, car insurance and life insurance policies. They go above and beyond by being available at almost all hours. One time I got pulled over in Reno, NV for a speeding ticket and I didn't have my proof of insurance and it was already after hours- Angie and Tracy sent me my insurance card thru a text message and I was able to avoid having to go back to Reno for my speeding ticket and having to show my proof of insurance- this was years ago and they saved my butt! They continue tohelp me out to this day- they've waiting on hold for me for 2-3 hours with the health insurance company to resolve some billing issues when I was way too busy at work to deal with it. They always come thru for me and never hesitate to help. My family has been working with them for over 6 years now - but it's safe to say they have earned my business for life!
