Tool & Truck Rental Center at The Home Depot
298 Fletcher Pkwy, El Cajon, CA 92020, United States
Do not rent anything from this rental center. Like another guy on these reviews, I rented a drain snake and it was a piece of junk. It wouldnt go in reverse and I was barely able to retrieve the cable when I had only gone in about 6 feet. It was useless.I brought it back and told them, they charged me the 83.00 (a very high price) and treated me like I was trying to scam them. The guy at the register was very nice but of no help, the manager was useless and obviously over her head as the manager of that Home Depot Tool Center.Find any place else to rent your tools!!!

Advanced Air & Vacuum
1677 N Marshall Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020, United States
When I was approached about saving money, I honestly thought of the oldest sales gimmick. The devise used to monitor the machine did in fact capture my attention, and I took time to think about it. Many months passed, and I was approached once again about the efficiency of my compressor. I requested a repeat assessment, and this time I had the prior reading to compare (to verify the legitimacy of the test).I was assured that the new compressor would in fact pay itself off, and I didn't believe it.I ended up making a deal, and a new compressor was installed on time by a very proficient technician. We had minimal down time because of the planning and expertise in swapping the old compressor with the new.The new machine is considerably quieter, and as promised, the effective electric saving would pay off the machine in about 24 months!!!I am very satisfied with the machine, and the most satisfied with not being pressured to make a decision to buy and replace an existing, working machine.Without any hesitation, I recommend this company to anyone seeking reliable, and efficient service.

Must stop location!! The atmosphere, the selection of both apparel and bikes, the crew, was all top notch! Make sure you ask for Kyler! My husband and I travel all over the country and we stop at every Harley Davidson shop along the way. We collect the poker chips. Out of the hundreds of shops we've been too, this is now at the top of our list. We went in for a chip and they had a couple 48's for sale. My husband has been wanting one for years now to customize. We were met by Kyler, a sales rep there shortly after we walked in and when I say he made sure we were happy and got exactly what we wanted and for the price we wanted to stay in, I mean it. He went above and beyond for us. And the best part, he actually listened to us and what we wanted. He wasn't pushy, didn't try to talk us into something else and went to work for US. We've been to shops where we've been brushed off entirely or they tried to push us to what they wanted to sell not what we wanted. There was none of that with Kyler. He treated us like a friend. This was our 9th Harley purchase and 2nd in the last 6 months so we are no stranger to the process. Since my husband and I were traveling and not intending on buying a bike, they were even nice enough to store the bike for us until we could get what we needed in to haul it back when we were ready to make our way back home. We live in Missouri, so it's no means an easy trip, but we will be doing all our future purchases through El Patron and will be asking for Kyler every time. Thank you for being so awesome to us Kyler, you have customers for life with us and will be referring anyone we meet wanting a bike to you.

Terrible. The sales manager Tim in particular is your typical greedy, arrogant, car salesman. Are you looking for some good down to earth people to give you a good deal on a car? Don't come here. These guys only care about profit, not their customers.I went here viewing a 2022 CX-5 that was listed at $24,900. Kelly Blue Book has this exact car (certified from dealer value) at $22,000-$24,900. Again, this is using the exact miles, trim, certification… I advised the sales guys the car is on the highest end of price ranges based on other listed CX-5 at other dealerships and by KBB it is a little high. I asked I they can come down even a couple hundred dollars. They refused, printed out some bogus “JD Power Values at $26,800” bogus. Even though CarFax says it is over priced, and so does KBB. I went home and took a day to think about it as to not make a rash decision. I liked my sales rep Dalton so much because he was the ONLY honest, good hearted, genuine human being in the building. Just mainly because of Dalton, I decided I would go back and buy it the next day. This is where it gets worse. The very next day I go back to the dealership to buy the car for $24,900 (still too high. There are 3 other Mazda dealerships selling this EXACT car certified and all for thousands less) but I was going to bite the bullet and buy it. I loaded up my 4 month old baby, my 2 year old daughter, and my breastfeeding wife into our car in the pouring rain and drove 45 min to the ghetto of El Cajon to buy this car. When I sat down to finally do the paperwork, the sales team handed me My new outdoor price. The problem is they raised the price of the car to $25,200 ($300 more than 24 hours ago). I gently advised that I would like them to honor the price I saw yesterday. My sales rep went back to Tim the sales manager who simply refused to lower the price by $300 back to what it was 24 hours ago. At this point, I had wasted almost 2 hours in the pouring rain with my kids crying in the car. I requested to talk to the manager. Tim came out and told me that he sells 80 cars a month and he doesn't care if I buy this car or not. He was very arrogant and unprofessional. I told him I would buy it at the original price. He refused basically saying he doesn't need or want my business. It's a pride thing. Dalton is a wonderful human being just trying to take care of his family and stayed 2 hours late to sell me this car all to have Tim's pride and ego deny him the sale over $300. I wasn't asking for a discount, i was simply asking for them to honor yesterday's price. Go to Mazda of Escondido. They have the same exact car with 7,000 less miles for $1,000 less AND certified. For contrast, my next stop was to Honda down the road. When I asked the Honda dealership for a good deal, they immediately offered to negotiate their already fair price by lowering up to $1,000. Take your business anywhere but this place. Ownership needs to get rid of Tim and stopOver pricing their cars.

Parkway Club Apartments
1237 Graves Ave, El Cajon, CA 92021, United States
We Lived here for only one year and let me tell you this place has great things about it but theres more cons than pros at this place. All these 5 star reviews are fake! First off they charged us a $500 holding fee which was non refundable. They turned off our water without a simple email or phone call. When we first moved in everything worked except for our refrigerator. Our first fridge only the fridge worked not the freezer then the one we got only the freezer worked. We had a 6 month at the time and we had to throw away most of our groceries! Took them 6 weeks to get us a working refrigerator. Theres always a woman screaming across my apartment. idk why or who it is Honestly its hard to tell whats going on. Landscaping comes every Thursday morning before 8 am so if you work late like I was they will wake you up. Maintenances door is below my apartment and they are always slamming their door aggressively. We get 2 parking spots if you have a 2 bedroom so that was nice. Also were right next to 1 of the 2 pools so during summertime its SUPER noisy with children screaming non stop for hours! I kid you not the parents weren't even at the pool watching their own kids. Not only that there was a handful of times where 15-20 teenagers would hop the fence and play loud music until 11:30 pm which is past 10pm close time for the pool. The ironic thing is one time i was in the spa until 10 minutes past 10pm and one of the security guards told me to the pool was closed. Where the hell was this same security guard when all these teenagers were hanging out past 11. The carpet and cabinets are all updated and new but the slider and windows are HORRIBLE and just leave a lot of the outside cold air trapped inside the apartment. It Honestly feels like your sleeping outside and all the windows get condensation everywhere really bad at night so using A/C & heat is out of the question. During the day the apartment is colder than outside temperature. There is no laundry unit inside. Their laundry room was NEVER clean and their washers are outdated and wont clean your clothes properly. Washing your laundry here is really expensive which costs $20 for 4 small loads! Maintenance team is okay but understaffed. There was a major leak in our sons room and they had to fix that which was a big repair & things happen I get it. It did take them almost two months to get us a working fridge though which is not okay! Now that our lease is ending soon they raised our rent 257 dollars a month not including utilities which is ten percent. We decided to move out because 2,833 a month is expensive For El Cajon along with all the out of control homelessness digging in all the dumpsters. Also theres ALWAYS a police helicopter circling directly above our apartment for 2 hours describing the suspects description at least two times a week. Your apartment # doesnt match your mailbox # so its super confusing. There is a gym available but is very small and limited to what you can do. dont clean or dust off the gym at all. The leasing office is closed on Sundays so there no way to reach anyone if you get locked out of your apartment. Dog park area is horrible with lots of poo everywhere even on the sidewalks! So Look I know it sounds like I may have high standards but I just want to warn others that are considering to rent here at Parkway Club. Missionaries every week were knocking on our door but we didnt answer. We cleaned the apartment & filled in all the holes we made in the walls. Moved out on the 23rd of February and was still charged the full month which was a $540.00 difference for rent through a 3rd party app to pay rent and after everything we still owed them over $200.

Rancho Mesa

November 18, 2012I am a retired cop and professionalshopper, I warn you that I am very disappointed that I got involved with these people. They are nice until you sign the rental, after, they seem to care less. I never moved into the new rental, I felt trapped by many rules and decided to break the lease which cost me 2 months rent, they said if it rented they would return any rent left over, since I paid for uverse I felt it would rent before the others. One office girl told me that they did not rent it as my rent did not run out, which meant they planned to keep it. I have waited a long time for them to return my deposit, 2 1/2 weeks ago I was told the check was being cut as we talked, well yesterday they said they would write it. They would not return my phone calls. They handle their own electrical even though each unit has its own meter, the neighbor told me that her bill sky rockets each month, big time, I dont trust these people, it is all business, no heart. If I dont get my deposit or they try to cheat me, I will update. I believe there has been some violations which I am checking into. Rent here at your own risk, I believe if you buy here, it would be difficult to sell.PS Look at the people standing around at the liqour store and the apts across the street and tell me how safe you feel.UPDATE 11/01/2012The continuing nightmare,As I said before, do not trust these people. They have promised that they cut my check three different times, so you would think I got three checks, ha!I specifically told them that I do not receive mail at my house, only my PO box, where do you think they sent it, now it is lost so who knows how long until I get my $1100 plus deposit.I gave my notice on (9/01/2012), instead of taking the next money from the deposit they said I had to pay the next months rent or I would be fined (quite a bit) so I paid it. It is now (11/01/2012) with no justice. This is a big corporation, I called both their corp. offices and left messages about this incompetence however it has been several days without a return call, only the local female who caused this problem called and said to wait a few days, it seems they just dont care. All I can say is BUYER/RENTER BEWARE!!!!!!Ron G.UPDATE for 11/17/2012As expected, as of yesterday the $1100+ has not showed up, I have called their Corp. offices (Chicago/Phoenix) with still no help. The local female who caused all this said to wait a week and a half and call if it did not show up. Why should these people keep my deposit. State law mandates its return in 21 days. I have contacted a Senior Abuse Agency to start legal action.DO NOT PUT YOURSELF IN THIS POSITION!!!UPDATE 11/21/2012Well today I went to the post office and a check had arrived, of course there was no apology or even a note. I hope none of you ever experience such a cold, uncaring attitude as this. they cost me much time and money to learn a lesson, beware. These corporations seem to think we are below them, I am surprised that they stooped down low enough to take my money.Good Luck

Enterprise Rent-A-Car
3851 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92105, United States
I'm happy to give a 5-star review to the staff at Enterprise Rent-A-Car on El Cajon Blvd. in San Diego. Specifically, my dealings with the branch manager Lindsay were pleasant and helpful, as she was happy to answer all my questions and accommodate my rental requests.I recently moved cross country to San Diego for a new job, and rented a vehicle from Enterprise on El Cajon Blvd. for approximately two months after my arrival. I came to CA with a foreign (Canadian) driver's license and was required by the CA DMV to pass a written and road test. The wait time for a CA DMV road test was nearly 6 weeks, forcing me to rent a car in the interim. Additionally, I needed to use this rental car for my DMV road test.Lindsay and her staff helped me make sure I had the complete vehicle registration and was signed up for the proper insurance coverage through Enterprise for the day of my road test. They made it simple to add and remove the insurance for just the single day (relied on my credit card coverage otherwise). As well, I had two-month long reservations in two different cars at two different rates, and Lindsay made sure I could stay in the same car and pay the same rate, to streamline the process. Finally, I had two small paint scratches show up on my rented vehicle during my rental contract (likely from a shopping cart or parking lot mishap). I was fearful of the damage report and extra charges (and looming fight with my credit card insurance provider to be reimbursed). Lindsay informed me the scratches were under the limit for the Enterprise damage evaluator tool, and there was no problem at all.All-in-all, it was excellent service, and made the whole process painless and enjoyable (which I very much appreciated). I know the expectations on and risks of a rental car make customer service in this industry very challenging, so having such a seamless experience was truly great!

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! Attention all parents and college students. BLVD63 might appeal on the outside as a fun place to live, they even trademark their apartments as “Living in paradise. Do not fall for this! They are scam artists, they know how to market to the younger demographic. I've lived here for the past two years, for someone who's been here long enough I've seen some terrible changes throughout time. I will begin to list off some of these horrifying changes.FIRST of all, their contract is terrible and unreliable. It's on a joint lease, what happened with our particular situation was two of our roommates that were LEGALLY on the lease decided they didn't want to pay rent and left. We were startled at this, and of course trying to cover two people's rents as college students is incredibly frustrating and difficult. We went down to the residents building helplessly trying to figure out something we can do. The property manager was very rude and cold like and simply replied to us saying “Well it's a joint contract you guys signed it.” DO NOT LIVE HERE BC IF SOMEONE LEAVES, YOU WILL BE PENALIZED BEWARE THE CONTRACT TERMS!!SECONDLY, SAFETY. As a woman you have to be extra cautious when walking around day/night. This area isn't the best and there have been multiple times I have been approached by a couple homeless people in the area. If you care about your daughters/sons safety then please pick another area of San Diego, there are better neighborhoods to live in. ANOTHER THING... my roommate and I were walking in the halls of BlVD 63, and there was a HOMELESS MAN IN A STORAGE UNIT!!! We caught a glimpse of him and ran to our apartment. YOU would think you could be “safe” in your own apartment however, that's not the case. I have felt that my safety has been multiply compromised.THIRDLY, the security doesn't do anything, there are always random people using the amenities we are paying for at BLVD63. The gym, the pools, the hot tub, the study rooms. There are numerous kids/people in the area that take advantage of these apartments and the tenants and use the amenities that are rightfully ours. Another thing, the doors are always broken and they seem to never fix them for weeks, they say they have maintenance, but where are they? Thats why anyone can come into BLVD63. The parking garage is never regulated by staff either.. cars have been broken into, things have gotten stolen. I know multiple people who have gotten their vehicles stolen as well.FOURTHLY, THE STAFF!!! The staff is probably the most inexperienced, unprofessional, unpleasant, and most unprepared employees I have ever encountered. They have “lost” my roommates and I's cashiers checks, and checks for rent. How could you be so irresponsible when handling that much money? Hire some professional people with experience not only is our parents at stake but we are to. I also don't like how BLVD63 will literally charge you for anything, I'm sure I won't ever get my security deposit back but if they even try charging us for one more thing, I will not be paying it.To wrap up this review, ( I know it's long) I wish I could rate BLVD63 a 0. My experience here has been very unpleasant and I'm really glad I get to move out and begin a stress free life in a few days. Please take my review into consideration, if you want to live here then you're in luck because now they're leasing by the bed. Right after the screwed over my parents, and me, and everyone else living in the apartment. We had to pay thousands of dollars each month to them and it's still not enough. Also, beware of they're “promotions” if you renew with them they offer bogus gift cards but you'll actually never get them.. because there will ALWAYS be a reason why. They are master scam artists and they know how to appeal to a younger crowed. Don't be naive, I hope everyone reads this there are better places to live in San Diego and I am so passionate about sharing my story to other young minded individuals likes me. I'll make my story heard.
