Trailer Rental at U-Haul

The csr was great he did his best to help and understand the safety of the customer and as well as he make sure equipment is fully secured to the vehicle but the one problem the place has less selection or less rental equipment this due to poor marketing or poor inventory supplied to the location .the marketing company should overlook the need of the rental center and request the supplier to provide more equipment to the location we based on Fremont and many times we don't find equipment in Fremont area we have few times rent the equipment from far away .

Ordered what I needed and coming to find out it wasnt exactly as described its 1/2 of what I was expecting upon calling I was informed its not what it shows in the description at all its only one of the two for the price I got them at Id have given a 5 star if I got the items in the description but in reality for this price plus the shipping I could have driven down to a local store and it would have been cheaper and Id would know what I was paying for instead of being disappointed with my order and experience with this company.

Kelvin Thomas - State Farm Insurance Agent
3100 Capitol Ave f, Fremont, CA 94538, United States
I was referred to Kelvins State Farm office by a friend of mine when I was looking for homeowners insurance for my first house. I called and left a message and Indira called me back very quickly. I was a total noob at this and had no idea about a lot of the terms but Indira talked me through everything and did a great job explaining to me what it all meant. She sent me a few quotes through email so I could share with my husband since he was at work at the time. After we decided on our policy it was a breeze setting everything up. Indira took care of literally everything for us - it could not have been an easier process!Recently she gave me a call to follow up and see how our move to our new home went. I really loved that she took the time to reach out so I also decided to discuss what it would look like to switch our auto policy over to State Farm also. Indira was able to give me a quote within minutes, and since we were bundling with our home insurance we got a good discount and are now paying the same amount for auto insurance as we were with Progressive but with waaaaayyyyyyyy better coverage. Also she said this would reduce our home insurance policy cost and would be getting some money back from that - a total win-win!Indira makes me feel like family when I speak with her which is why I gave them my business, and will stay a loyal customer as long as they are around! If you are looking to change any of your insurance needs, I highly recommend going with Kelvin and Indira at State Farm!
Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley
46100 Landing Pkwy, Fremont, CA 94538, United States
I am typing this with great dissatisfaction towards a worker at this particular branch (I believe her name is Arion) and poor customer service. I looked all over the building for a manager to speak to in-person but the manger seemed to be missing. Short story short, I came in early in the morning (around 10ish) to see if I can check in early, but I was told to come again at 12pm-12:30pm for early check in. I needed a room urgently to get ready because one I just landed from the airport, and two I had two important events to attend, one being personal and the other pertaining to work. The young lady (Arion) that helped me at 12pm, said there's no room availability at all and couldn't do anything further for us besides insisting that we should continue waiting. So instead of waiting inside Mariot (one of the greatest hotel establishments) we stayed inside our car until there's was room availability at 2:30pm. We weren't even offered the choice of waiting in the lobby or provided complimentary water until room availability but everyone else was by Arion. Now, forget about the water and complimentary waiting in the hotel lobby, we weren't even given the most simplest form of customer service (a welcome or a friendly approach by Arion). Furthermore, I really admired Arions passive aggressive attitude and no helpfulness approach towards me, it really made me feel good about myself. To top it off, I asked for a trolley for our bags from Arion and she said that we will have to wait further longer because there seems to be none around. It's fine though, I dragged my bags through the Marriott from outside to the third floor. Moving onto the room we were given initially. I was very grateful for the gift that was left for me at room 311 (my initial assigned room). You may be wondering what the gift was, it was a beautiful clogged toilet and a musty smell sweating room. After this wonderful experience, I went back down to the lobby and asked Arion for help, but she just ignored me while I waited on the side of the lobby like a statue until I got help. Arion's solution for my rooms clogged toilet was to send a random man that I don't know to fix my toilet while I get ready and dressed in my room. I declined and asked for another room, which happened eventually, after begging… Fast forward to room 312 (the new room they gave me), stains on the wall, on the shower curtain, a clogged sink drain, and a even more musty smelling room. Thank you for the switch Mariot, you gave me a clear upgrade. After this, I was feeling damaged, I was late, and in a terrible mood from the way I was treated and experienced. I did end up going to my events late and guess what I lost the work deal of a lifetime (I lost a lot of $$$ in an idea/invention I had set forward) and was humiliated for showing up late, and not taken seriously. I don't want others to go through what I went at Mariot (the place that “supposedly” puts people clearly first). PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and don't get tricked by the reviews; instead get an Airbnb or a better hotel at a different establishment.
Pacific Inn
2332 N Fremont St, Monterey, CA 93940, United States
This is a cute little motel in the Monterey area. The rooms have been redone recently (hardwood floors, gorgeous bathroom), and show a definite level of care for their facilities.Pros: Really cute room. I appreciated the desk/table space in the room, full-size dispensers in the bathroom for soaps and lotions, refrigerator and microwave, super-plush bed, abundance of plugs and outlets, and included premium TV channels!Cons: My biggest upset with this hotel was the 8:24 AM wake-up call in the form of the cleaning crew attempting to come into my room to clean up on the morning of my checkout! There is NO reason for cleaning a room on the morning of checkout before the 11 AM checkout time. Even if we'd been up and out to breakfast, why would you come into the room before you have to do a full clean in 2.5 hours?! Definitely not okay, and left a super bitter taste in my mouth for the whole establishment.Other Things:Parking is free, but very tight and sporadic. They own the parking lot for “Grandma's Kitchen” next store, so there were spaces to park, but they're set a little far away from some of the rooms. There is apparently a washer/dryer on the premises (my boyfriend saw those) near the ice and soda machines. Also, we had a less than stellar experience with the check-in employee (around 8:30 PM on Monday, July 22) who couldn't take the time to tell me that my credit card number was incorrect from the online entry, and instead just told me it was declined. He also didn't offer a printed receipt for the stay. The employee the following morning was much more helpful, took the time to clear out the incorrect card number and re-swipe my card, and gave me a printed receipt.Overall, I might stay here again if it came down to it, but if there was another hotel for the same price, I might also just reconsider.
Waterstone Fremont
39600 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94538, United States
DO NOT make the same mistake as me: In looking for apartments in Fremont, I figured that a couple of negative reviews are the norm for each place. After all, how can a business please everyone? Well in my 7 months at the Waterstone at Fremont, they cant seem to please anyone.Currently I have had ants and silverfish ever since I moved in. They keep telling me that during the warm season, the ants move to find food. Now that its the cold season, they are telling me that the ants are coming back. After 3 visits from the exterminator and twice weekly Raid sprays from me, the insects are still here. It would be so bad if the ants werent in my cupboards where my dishes and cups are! All food is either stored in airtight containers or in the fridge. I did that thinking that they wont come into my place, yet the ants are still here. Managements explanation is that the ants are attracted to even a single crumb of food. Somehow I think Ill be having insects in my cupboard until my lease runs out. After the rains, I found a two-foot long crack next to my bedroom window. Looking closer, I can see the crack runs from the ceiling down to the floor. I can clearly see the Spackle and paint that they used to cover this crack. I am not a civil engineer, but I can see that crack existed before I moved in.Today is January 14th 2013, and the Elevator permit expired December 15th 2012. I have personally asked the UPS delivery man, the Comcast cable guy, and the USPS woman why they take the stairs. Their answer? Theyre scared that the elevator might kill them. about 50% of the time, when you step into the carriage, it drops a an inch or so before the doors close. When the annual resident survey came out, I noted that many people felt unsafe using the elevator, yet I have not seen a change in it while using it. I walk up 3 flights of stairs daily rather than use the elevator. The ceilings are pretty thin in my building. I have been trying to walk as soft as I can ever since my downstairs neighbor talked to me about keeping his son up from walking too hard. After two more conversations, I have explained to him that I am walking as soft as I can. Yet he can hear me most of the time. I can sometimes hear people walking normally in the hallways outside my apartment door. I do not have any reason for this other than that I believe the ceilings and floors do not have adequate insulation.Aside from those things, here are the pros:-Awesome neighborhood location(close to shops)-Friendly management-Laundry/Garbage chute are very close-Safe neighborhood-Built-in microwave with stove in apartmentFor me, it is a no-brainer that i will NOT be renewing my lease. also, in looking at the past reviews, I will not be expecting my security deposit. In fact, I am so upset at this property and its management that am seriously considering paying the $1,520 penalty to terminate my lease early. Please, Please, PLEASE heed these negative warnings and look somewhere else!
The Presidio Apartments
2000 Walnut Ave, Fremont, CA 94538, United States
Terrible Customer Service ExperienceWe flew all the way from WI for our apartment hunting trip in the Bay area. Our realtor had made appointments for us and Presidio Apartments were on the list. Obviously, we did our homework before we visited the communities. We had been checking out apartments the entire long weekend in Fremont and visiting Presidio was the worst experience of all! When we arrived, we were attended by Ms. Monika Kaur. We were so excited to visit the community as we had read really good reviews about the community and the customer service experience - especially from Ms. Monika! I don't know if we caught her on a bad day or if she was not happy working on the long weekend, but the way she treated us was SO WRONG! First off, when we let her know that we had an appointment that was made by our realtor, she said that she couldn't find it in her system. I know that mistakes happen and it's understandable if someone forgot to put it in the system as the long weekend was fully booked with appointments in most of the communities that we visited. Having said that, Ms. Monika did not even try to put an effort and check her system again. She gave us all kinds of looks as if she was disgusted to talk to us!!! When we asked her questions about the community, she gave us the classic answer saying “Please visit our website and you should find more information in there.” We told her that we flew across the country just to check out apartments and we really like the community and it would be great if she could give us more information on the overhead/hidden costs that are usually not mentioned on the website. To that, she answered “You will get all the information on the website.” After 10-15 mins of convincing her that we really had made an appointment and we wanted to check out the available apartments, she gave us the keys to the model apartment and assumed that we would find it ourselves without giving us the directions or a map of the community. We then asked her if she could point out directions for us and then she finally got up from her seat and printed out a map of the community for us! She talked to us as if she did us a freaking favor by letting us go around her precious community and check out the model apartment! She has no right to treat anyone in such a demeaning way and if she thinks so highly of herself then she better find a job that is not critical to customer relations. I still want to give her the benefit of doubt and say that she was probably going through something or wasn't well or for whatever reasons she treated us this way and is not the person who treats others unfairly. But the fact that we are relocating across the country and we made a trip just to check out apartments, I expected her to treat us better especially after knowing our situation.About the community, it's very pretty and well-maintained! There are lots of covered/open parking spots all over the community which is really rare to come across in the bay area so I would give brownie points for that. The overall vibe is pretty chill across the community and the apartment layout is good for the price that you pay!! On top of that, it's a gated community so you know there are no safety issues. Even though we really liked the community, we won't be staying here because of the terrible customer service we received from Ms. Monika. I'm not sure if this was a one-off situation from her side but we still didn't deserve to get treated this way!!!Apologies for such a long review.
Mission Peaks Apartments
1401 Red Hawk Cir, Fremont, CA 94538, United States
Lot of penalties here in Mission Peaks when we move out from apartment. This is Radhika. I lived at Mission Peaks apartment for almost 14 months. If there is an option to give 0% rating then I can give 0. I am not sure how people gave good reviews on these apartments. All the apartments at mission peaks got infected with bed bugs. It is not at all safe for kids to stay in these apartments. Even if we keep the apartment very clean still we cannot escape from bed bugs because complete apartment community got infected. But mission peaks management is not going to accept this fact and put all the fines on us. In past I have lived in Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma City. But these apartments are very worst apartments. Management mainly concentrate on penalties than anything else. Maintenance is very bad. And maintenance guys are very rude. We stayed at home without using bathroom for almost 1 day because there was a repair in toilet. They never ever clean the corridors. Somebody broke my friends car and their GPS got stolen. This community is not at all safe. And management guys they put lot of penalties when we move out from the apartment. Here 8 persons live in single bedroom apartment. Even management knows about this fact but still they ignore because they have to get the money. They will raise rental price every year. It is not at all worth paying $2228 for single bed room apartment. When I tried to explain my concerns to Lisa she gave me Ali email id address. I sent him email regarding my concerns. He is saying you signed the lease agreement you accepted all the conditions so you have to bare all the expenses. Most of the apartments are vacant. And current residents they are leaving. Still there is no change in management. For job purpose I terminated the lease and moved out of the state. These penalties they sent to me in mail.If you are ready to pay below all the penalties, then please go ahead and choose these apartments. They have sent meLease break 1 month penalty: $2228For extra 5 days charge: $359.35For Bedbug Treatment: $504For Paint: $107.50For Carpet Cleaning: $60Because of bedbugs they cant put apartment in market for that penalty: $1868.65(they say vacancy loss due to bedbugs)Total they have asked me to pay: $5,127.50There should be good law in USA to support residents to protect from rental harassment.I have got reply back from Mission Peaks Team saying that they have charged vacancy loss due to Bed bugs is only $186.65. But the actual charge they have asked me to pay is $1868.65. 3 times I have posted my review on YELP. YELP is not showing up my review on their website. I am not sure why they are not showing the truth to residents and also I am not sure what they are trying to hide.
