They answered the phone on the 4th ring on a Sunday morning (after the Marina del Rey location never did ... many attempts). The guy who answered knew his stock status, immediately. Checking in was easy, and he went into the floor to get a crevice cleaner part. All in all, it was a seamless experience, renting a shop vac. Friendly, too.
LAX Equipment Inc

Great customer service from Casey and Edwin. Fast and Efficient! We had a different rental company cancel on us 1 day before a scheduled delivery for a very important job. So, I frantically called around but had no luck due to the short notice. Luckily, I got in contact with LAX Equipment and they saved the day. Casey was the person that took my call. She was very polite and professional. Immediately after speaking with Casey I received an email confirmation and forms/agreements to fill out. Their pricing is very competitive. Later in the day I got a call from Edwin to notify me that the boom was on location. Edwin was also very polite and made sure we knew where the boom would be and provided helpful information regarding the equipment Cant ask for better service than that! Active Pest Control highly recommends this company. We are in the business of customer service so we know what is expected and they did not disappoint.

I rarely write reviews, but my experince has pretty much ruined the last few days of my vacation. Ive reached out to the company a few times and feel as if they have no regards to what is happening. Very robotic response from each agent I speak to, barely any empathy.I rented my car for 8 days. A Premium Suv to give our family with two carseats as well as a lot a luggage some extra room. It was a great experience while picking up at LAX. Actually, what makes this review a two star instead of negative a thousand stars was the worker (I am sorry, I did not get his name) at the door. He greeted us and saw that we has ALOT of baggage, two car seats, as well as a baby and a 7 year old. He took it upon himself to check us in (didnt need to go to the counter), brought our car up front for us to load, as well as even helped us carry luggage to our car. He was the best thing that happend during this experience.Fast forward to our second to last day. It was our last day to spend at Disneyland. We were all ready and loaded into the car, and the car does not turn on. The battery died! I called ALAMO and they set us up to get roadside asssistance to jump our car for the next morning because I was not going to wait any longer and miss out on our last day at Disneyland. They also arranged us to swap out our car at a nearby ENTERPRISE (same company). They asked if I felt comfortable driving the car that died after we jump it!? Uh, no. Especially not with a 10 month old and 7 year old! She did put me on a hold to call that location to ensure that they will have a car reserved for us. Which she confirmed they did! Here we are, the next day (our last day of our vacation) stressing about this situation, not even enjoying what little time I have left In California. My husband calls me from that rental car location to tell me that they DO NOT HAVE A CAR FOR US. That we have to drive further out to John Wayne airport. I called Alamo again, and told them that the agent whom arranged our exchange called that location to confirm that our car was available!!! No, this time the agent said they cannot guarantee our car will be there. Instead, I can wait for a car to become available, which can be later in the afternoon/evening. No, I cannot wait! This is my last day here, I have things to do before flying home! I am not spending my day waiting at the hotel! or two, try to go to that location. So that is where we are at now. Husband is at the location, praying that they have a car that can at least fit us all and our luggage. Not to mention, they charge $67 dollars to send someone to jump THEIR CAR.I understand if I left my key in the car, or even got a flat tire. But the battery is beyond my control. I make sure all lights are off etc. I also had to spend more money to arrange to take the bus to disneyland. and that experience was bad bc my child got sick from no ac in the bus coming back as well as a bumpy ride. She ended up throwing up the moment we got off the bus.Ive never had such a bad experience renting a car. Not only did it ruin my last vacation days, I had to pay extra to just have a car that works! Not to mention, pay for an alternative transportation.Update: the second location only has a sedan available. We would not be able to fit all of our baggage. I have no idea what we will do. This is such a horrible experience.

Edgar and team went over and beyond with communication, vehicle photos and service commitment tk bring us a fair price and solid vehicle for our trip to San Fran. We also had a few seniors aboard and they were able to get in safely and were most comfortable with the recliner-seats and road experience. There was a flat screen in the vehicle and when we could get it to work I called Edgar on his cell at night and he was more then obliged to walk me through how to get it work vs most companies would have a voice mail on to get back to you next day. Really appreciated the customer service.Vehicle was decent on gas and the vehicle return was pretty easy. One of the vehicles did have dent on it but not so noticeable to the natural eye. We were given a slight discount. It was a great experience and I wanted to share it. I'd surely use their services again and again.
Escape Campervans
4858 W Century Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90304, United States
Let me just start by saying we definitely got the oldest campervan on the road with the most boring & chipped paint job possible which was an extreme disappointment compared to the rest of the beautifully painted campervans in the lot & on the road. The lady at pickup said all the vans were pre-booked so she wasn't able to get us a different one. Ours looked like maybe the drivers side had been repainted at one point but the passenger side of the van looked neglected. We had the Maverick van, pickup in LA and drop off in San Fran (actually Milpitas because the San Fran lot closed?)-the interior media system had clearly been replaced already with an older system that requires an aux cord in order to play your phone on the speakers however, the latest apple iphones do not even have aux ports anymore and the usb port kept reading “N/A usb” whenever we tried to connect our iPhones to it which was another disappointment. We ended up buying a portable bluetooth speaker in order to listen to our own music and be able to use audio tour apps.-The constant manifold sound with acceleration was also terrible to listen to the entire trip.-We paid extra to get the camp chair package; the camp chairs are the smallest, cheapest, most uncomfortable camp chairs I've ever seen or sat in, not to mention ours had stains from the previous users. If I didn't know any better I could of sworn these were children's chairs.. as my husband & I found these were very very small for us average sized adults.-The side doors to the van could use some latches to hold them open as many of the campsites we stayed at in California did not have any areas with flat terrain so the doors always swung closed on you every time you would try to open them to get in or out of the van.-The bedding package had 2 pillows, a fitting sheet, and comforter which did the trick for sleep; the cushions that fold into a bed were surprisingly quite comfortable.-The kitchen package had everything we needed to cook simple camp meals; although the teetowel they supplied to dry dishes is a material that does not actually dry, it just pushes the water around making an ever bigger mess, so be sure to buy paper towels for your trip! (We also used the papertowels for our coffee filters in the pour-over drip coffee attachment that was included with the kitchen kit.)-The velcros to hold the curtains together need improvement- we found they were either missing, ripped out or didn't exist; so when we wanted to pull the curtains closed across all windows, we weren't able to get a solid seal and each window had gaps where light would come through and privacy was not able to be maintained.-The canopy we also purchased extra thinking it would be a nice backdoor covering from rain/sun; we didn't even bother opening it, as its just a small little magnetic plastic piece.-Gas, we filled up our tank the morning of return then drove 30mins out of our way to return the van at the Milpitas lot. We had unloaded all our belongings and were ready to leave when the worker literally made us put all our belongings back in the van and go fill up the tank to “full” because our tank wasn't “all the way to the full line” when we tried to return it. The worker said there was a gas station down the road, which we then went to, but it only accepted cards from major fleets? Would not accept either of our Canadian credit cards so then we had to waste more time and gas driving around further just to fill the gas to the brim, meanwhile nowhere on the escapecampervan return papers does it say the van has to be completely full..?-All in all, we made do with what we had for our 10day trip up the California coast. If we ever decide to do the campervan route again for a trip, hopefully we will get a newer, more updated & functional van or maybe go with a different company.
Travellers Autobarn Campervan Rentals Los Angeles
500 W Florence Ave, Inglewood, CA 90301, United States
We rented the campervan from LAX location as part of a relocation rental for 6 days, paying 100$ a day extra above the 3 free days to move the vehicle from LAX to SFO. We purchased full insurance for 200$ for additional piece of mind. We picked up car and door service by Jordan was great, but the car had issues as soon as we drove out of the parking lot. The car charging port (1 of 2 ) was not working. This was absolutely important for us to get rectified so we turned back 30 minutes into our drive and went back to get it addressed. Falling short of offering to give us a car charger adapter that increases number of ports, there were no replacement vehicles that we had an option to swap out. Of note, the lone car charging port was to be used for charging 3 phones, GPS connection and also music which would be super essential on a 6 day roadtrip. We had to just accept the faulty car and went off on our trip to yosemite as we had no more time left to lose and were scheduled to climb half dome the next day early morning. 2-3 hrs into the drive the car AC broke down in the california heat!! and 3 days later the check engine light was on. They also forgot to give us camping chairs as listed. We contacted customer service who said we should just report the AC break when we return car and if we buy camping chairs they would reimburse (which they did). After returning car, the company did not want to credit us for our miserable experience with cars quality issues despite multiple emails to customer service. Other companies like JUCY and escape have better customer service, cheaper/comparable rates and on my multiple times renting with them it has never had issues with engine light and AC. While our trip was fantastic hiking and roadtrip, it was soured by the poor quality of the car. I will have to think long and hard before renting with them again. Both locations LAX and SFO staff was great, I predominantly have an issue with the cars quality issues and the handling of the complaints by customer service over email.Response to company. There was 1 extra USB port in the car near the kitchen. The other two in the back panel (white did not work) and it was known to the LAX center. My AC broke day 1 and as mentioned in my email to you, we were in limited reception with a timed itinerary so we did not want to spend a day trying to get it rectified waiting at a car shop. I expect an international company like yours to have a strict QC on its vehicles before it sends on the road. Also, as you know, relocation deals are based on time and currently other companies do not have them. My car AC/Car charger failed on first day of rental, so if I could I would have returned it but as it was a planned vacation we had to power through all the issues. Our vacation was great overall and it was INSPITE of a broken car rental.Thank you for reviewing the email communication.

Horrible horrible experience!!! Ive been a loyal and valued customer for so long that I was SHOCKED at how I was treated at the LAX branch on Friday June 9th MY BIRTHDAY none the less!!! After flying all day I arrived to the location just after 11:00pm...completely ready to grab my car (as Ive done pretty much every week and more)This branch SUCKED at customer service this week!!!!. The previous week they didnt have my reserved car, only one small silver Toyota so I was offer d an upgrade and told it would be about $10 extra...as a valued loyal Enterprise customer I would have expected to be given an available car at no extra (considering mine was not available)....I later realized Imwss charged $10.99 A DAY....Anyway.. back to June 9, my birthday...where friends had gathered for a birthday get together for me!I took the shuttle from LAX with all my luggage in tow....catching a flight the next day to Europe...and headed to th self check in kiosk. Like a do EVERY WEEK pretty much!I wasnt able to check in there so I approached the counter and was told I was on the do not rent list. What.???It turns out my last rental...added charges and an extra day I owed $66.11 THREE days prior had uncollected. Barges and I was placed In some no rent status??? Are you kidding me?? No call. No email. No notice that my reservation wouldnt be honored!!! I was stranded, with three luggages AT MIDNIGHT IN INGLEWOOD. For no reason!! A single girl left without transportation or any help!!!The manager was a total sloppy jerk and I told him he would hear from me. The division to call and fix the problem (YOUR problem) was closed. I offered to pay whatever and he refused to override and help me. Funny thing is the rental was to be comped because of my loyalty. Where was Enterprisesmloyalty???I had to take Uber ($30Nd Uber the next day back to the airport another $30). Missed my birthday celebration and all the things I needed to do the next day!!Shame on Enterprise and the manager on duty Friday night June 9, 2017!! Ill find his name...Review?? Heres my review of this experience. You better change your policies on how you trust people. There are many many choices when renting cars and youve lost a very good customer!!!!Sandra HHuntington Beach, Idaho, France
