U-Haul Moving & Storage of Chico
600 Country Dr, Chico, CA 95928, United States
My daughter rented a truck from Chico Uhaul this past weekend so that she could move. While we were standing in line waiting to be helped the customer in front of us and the older man behind the counter started laughing at and making fun of us because we were wearing masks. I have an elderly immuno compromised mother and havent been able to see her in over 3 months. So we do our part in maybe having this shelter in place come to an end sooner. If we had been able to find another rental place we would have left. But we were stuck with no options. When he was done with that customer he asked if he could help us but we told him we would wait for for someone else to help us. Someone who was more respectful. The young man who helped us very nice although he wasnt wearing a mask either. No one in the store was! Needless to say if this is how uhaul treats their customers, I will never come back.

Never again. Hidden charges, short loads, inferior product, and sour service. I went in today to get some playground chips for the Costco play set I built. Started in a good mood, so I didnt notice they shorted the first load by half a yard until I got home. I am not guessing; I leveled the chips and measured what was in the trailer. Asked (and paid) for 4 yards, got little over 3.5. They did the same thing on the second load, but I was paying attention this time and let them know it was short while I was still in the yard, thinking it was an honest mistake. But instead of fixing their error, the kid argued that since the bucket was 2 yards and since they tipped it twice there must be 4 yards in the trailer. I said I wasnt arguing the capacity of the bucket, just the volume of chips they actually got into the trailer, which was clearly less than 3.5. They again stated the volume of the bucket, to which I again stated I wasnt arguing its volume, but how much it had been filled prior to dumping based on a direct observation of the under-filled trailer. They finally said they would put in another scoop if I wanted and would only charge me for 1 yard, which still didnt make sense, like I was supposed to split the cost of their idiocy...but I had my kids and didnt want to use the force of language it was apparently going to take to explain potential vs actual to the room temperature IQs working that day. Well, I should have unhooked their trailer and left...that load was close to 5 yards for 8.5 total. But when I get the bill they charged me for 9.5 instead of the 8.5 I got or the 9 they said in the yard. Plus, they add 10% to the total bill for some kind of waiver or something, which is total BS and not posted anywhere. Bush league amateurs. The icing on the cake was the abjectly unfriendly lady working in their office. Absolutely zero personality. My 2-year old daughter, who is objectively adorable, said Hi! to her probably 25 times and she just stared at her monitor while the invoices printed. Such a loser. Ill take my money elsewhere in the future. Oh, plus the playground chips were full of bark and they are supposed to be an all-wood product to provide longer life, less compression, etc. This place just sucks, avoid it at all costs.

Heath and his crew were fantastic to work with, I hired them to haul away a large amount of broken concrete and dirt. Heath was very responsive and was easy to communicate with, his rates beat all other quotes I received, he was on time and provided excellent service. I highly recommend you call Heath if you need anything hauled, moved or have property that needs to be cleaned up.
Chico Offroad Rentals
2990 Esplanade, Chico, CA 95973, United States
This place is awesome! I wish I lived closer because I would book trips with them more frequently. The staff members are amazing and have top of the line service here. To top it off the trips are very affordable but do require a $1000 deposit to cover any damage to the off-road vehicles. That kind of sucks since it holds you money for up to 5 business days potentially but I did receive my hold back within a day of returning the off-road vehicle. That is more determined by the bank then them but it would be nice to lower the deposit to encourage less fortunate people the opportunity to have this type of fun. Break up the regular day in day out grind and just book a rental online with their website. You won't regret it! This is also perfect for company outings and team building. I took a group of 8 from my work and we've all become closer since the trip. Being outdoors doing something different for a change is priceless so I'm giving it 5 stars.Be advised: I am not paid nor do I receive free products for my reviews. My opinion is honest and unbiased. Bio Kleen Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning
17 Burney Dr, Chico, CA 95928, United States
I recently hired Bio Kleen Carpet & Upholstery to clean my couch, and I must say that I was blown away by the level of service provided. Not only was the work excellent, but the price was also more affordable than the quotes I received from other competitors. I was pleasantly surprised when I asked how much extra it would cost to remove a few stains out of my carpet, they went above and beyond and included that for no additional charge! The team arrived on time and worked efficiently to remove all the stains and dirt from my couch. They were thorough in their work and made sure to pay attention to every detail. The end result was fantastic - my couch looked and smelled like new again!I was particularly impressed with the professionalism of John, who was the lead technician. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and he made sure to explain the entire process to me before starting the work. He also gave me some tips on how to maintain my couch in between cleanings, which I found very helpful.Overall, I would highly recommend Bio Kleen Carpet & Upholstery for anyone in need of couch or carpet cleaning services. The quality of work is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the team is professional and friendly. Thank you for the outstanding service!
Johnny On The Spot - Portable Toilet & Temporar...
5050 Cohasset Rd suite 70, Chico, CA 95973, United States
We have used Johnny on the Spot many times over the years. Weve rented toilets for backyard parties, the luxury trailer for a Christmas party, have had them service our RV multiple times and had a month to month rental during construction at our home. Every driver we have ever had was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Jessica in the office is awesome and always extremely helpful. We will never use anyone but Johnny on the Spot Portable Toilets.
Americas Tire
2530 Notre Dame Blvd, Chico, CA 95928, United States
Its a sad day when you have to rate what seems like a good place very low over what is a smaller detail. However the level this businesss employees took this too was beyond petty! My family has entrusted this business, and enriched it with the privilege of putting new sets of tires on 6 different vehicles in 7+ years. While the service seems prompt 85% of the time, and the customer courtesy about equal, weve taken notice that Americas tire is biased against older and less pristine vehicles. Periodically we bring our vehicles by to keep the air pressure topped off, which should be a quick, easy, hassle free experience. It is for our 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2021 vehicles. We are quickly attended to, and on our way. However, you should be aware, that if your bringing in any vehicles that are older, such as we have a 97, and an 02, which definitely show their age, the tire fill up person puts you thru an interrogation on If you own the vehicle, did you buy the tires there, when did you buy them, whats the name the tires were purchased under, phone number, etc. etc.... Weve taken note that every time we take in the not so nice vehicles which have their tires just the same as our newer vehicles, they spend more time authenticating those are their tires and you are you, than the time to actually fill the stinking air into the tires! 5 minutes on one go round in which the guy went inside and left us before coming out to continue inflation interrogation. If were in our newer vehicles which are in very good condition, they dont even ask a single question, they just get it done.In closing-, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone with cars more than 10 years old. They most definitely will make you feel like your not worthy of the efforts they claim theyll readily supply when your laying out your $$$ to buy new tires. People dont deserve to be treated like second class customers based on the age or condition of the vehicles they bring in to put new tires on-
Knockout Collision Repair
3225 Esplanade, Chico, CA 95973, United States
I was driving back from the Bay Area on I-505 and as I was passing a double trailer semi, a piece of metal flew off and hit the bumper and passenger side front fender of my car. The driver stopped, we exchanged info, and I was told to get an estimate and the trucking company would cover repair and car rental.I went to the KZFR underwriters page and found Knockout Collision Repair on the list. I got a quick estimate from Shawna Richards, which was approved by the trucking company and work began. I got the car back today and I must say they went above and beyond any expectation I may have had. Its possible my 2011 Lexus looks newer than it did in 2011.Many thanks for the great work and friendly service.
