Just rented a trailer for the day, and returned it 15 minutes before closing. The entire staff was pretty friendly, but one enployee stood out and shined!!! Jesse was the employee who checked in my trailer, and did an amazing job of making me, not just feel like a valued customer, but almost like a friend. I am in the customer service industry, and to see another individual, at the end of what im sure is a stressful workday, treat me with kindness and make me feel like I wasnt just another face in the crowd is amazing! His customer service was ABOVE AND BEYOND naything I would ever expect from a rental place. Thank you for the awesome service!!!!

Negative 5 stars this guy is in the business of coercion through bad faithcompliance tactics, his goal it would appear is to obtain payment through direct deposit or automatic withdrawal from customer account so that he can attach so called late fees and other unwarranted charges without expressed authorization from account holder all based on a contractual agrreement that he does not honor. The leasing agreement clearly states lock out after 28 days of nonpayment. It does not say that just prior to the end of the gratuitous grace period of ten days you will be forced to talk to management to get through the gate and/or the door to the onsite bathroom. Regardless the provision of an intercom through which the U-HAUL switchboard can be contacted and they will connect you to the office 1/4 mile away if they are open and yours truly has authorized someone there handle your particular contractual anomally as in my case it was requested that i make a payment in full, which they were not able to process because it was cash. We were let in to the facility without entry privilege to the bathroom discovered after hours at which point the U-HAUL switchboard was able to accomodate me. There is no business office onsite it is a quarter mile away he lives onsite, practices discriminatory profiling of customers, favoring some over others. 24 hour access is a privilege granted only to those deemed worthy. He has issues he has yelled at me and I have witnessed him yelling at others. I have talked to his supervisor without any acknowledgement that any action towards correcting these practices would occur and to go further up the chain of command would be to talk to the president and board of trustees or whatever it is that executes the business policy that i believe is in direct violation of U-HAULS general way of doing business as i have favoref theirHe is not a good representative for U-HAUL as he is not keeping America moving

They dont even deserve 1 star. One of the worst customer service experiences in my life. I rented a 10ft uhaul truck over the weekend to move some furniture into storage. I returned the truck a day later on time with the fuel at the correct level and only drove the uhaul 45 miles. I never received a formal receipt or charge on my card so I went back to them to figure out what happened. Turns out the accidentally linked me up with a different customers account and charged me for double the amount of miles I actually drove. They would not accommodate me so I ended up contacting uhaul customer service directly. What a mess and shame on this Rent One for not taking responsibility for their mistake and making it right for the customer. DO NOT USE THIS RENTAL COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED Off!

Zach has been our agent for 7 years now. During this time he has proved to be a reliable agent, very knowledgeable professional, and a wonderful person. It is always a delight to talk to Zach and there have been many times throughout these years that he has surprised us with great deals, clear explanations of protocols and policies, and even off-duty calls when we had a car accident. Our business with Choice Plus Insurance (CPI) started with a single insurance policy for one vehicle. Afterwards we extended our insurance to two vehicles followed by a renters insurance policy. Currently we have policies for our three cars and a home-owners insurance. At this point, anytime we think about our insurance needs we immediately go to Zach for questions or advice. It is also important to mention that we've had the pleasure of interacting with the rest of the staff at CPI and – in every single occasion – they've always been very attentive, respectful, and knowledgeable. Emil and Alvin are truly the best! I feel more like a friend or even family when I come by - they always come say hello, check in on what's happening in our lives, and offer their assistance. I actually enjoy going to my storage unit because I know I'll get to see one of the guys and that always makes it a pleasant experience. I feel safe when I'm there and know that Costa Mesa MiniStorage cares about me and my belongings, which is different than most storage facilities. Rates are comparable, if not less expensive than other spots and they have any size unit you could possibly need. Spaces are clean and common areas are monitored by cameras. I will never go anywhere else for my storage needs after working with Emil and Alvin- go see them if you need a storage unit in Costa Mesa- I can‘t recommend them and their kindness enough.

I recently had the opportunity to work with David Derebenskiy, the service advisor at Fletcher Jones, and I cant praise him enough for his exceptional service. When we encountered an issue with our Audi, David was there to guide us through the troubleshooting process with his vast knowledge of cars. Not only was he warm and friendly, making the entire experience more pleasant, but he also demonstrated incredible efficiency in his work. Thanks to Davids expertise, our car spent the minimal amount of time in the shop, and the problem was resolved much quicker than we anticipated. He really gets the job done and does so with a smile. Davids approach to customer service is a rare find in the industry, and Im genuinely impressed by his dedication. I would highly recommend David Derebenskiy to anyone needing service at Fletcher Jones. His professionalism and efficiency are simply unmatched. Hopefully, I won't have many problems with my car, but should any arise, I will definitely be requesting him as our service manager. Its reassuring to have such a reliable and skilled individual to turn to.

I had reserved a storage at a different location. Showed up on move-in date with confirmation in hand only to discover they were closed. I panicked and started calling around to other storages, leaving messages, stressing over the truck load of stuff we had. Lindsey from Costa Mesa Self-Storage called me back within minutes. What a relief to discover they were located a few blocks from the “closed” storage. Lindsey was amazing! The facility was clean, well maintained, affordable, and she clearly explained everything we needed to know. I highly recommend them if you're in need of storage and avoid the other one a couple blocks away. Thank you again, you guys were there when I was in a tough spot.

This was our first RV rental. My wife and I have been contemplating purchasing an RV since my retirement nearly 6 years ago. As the pandemic began to wind down and emboldened by our vaccines, we finally decided to rent an RV for a two-week camping trip up through the Redwood National Park and down into Napa and then Big Sur and the PCH and back to Costa Mesa. The employees at Costa Mesa Cruise America were professional and most helpful. Everything on our standard 25-ft RV worked as advertised. It was comfortable and adequately accommodated my wife and I. The vehicle itself was travel worn and a bit of a rattle trap. The odometer turned over to 100K miles on our 1700 mile trip. But we did not have any mechanical problems so I guess I shouldnt complain. Maybe they all rattle and twerk like that.The main reason I didnt give a 5-star review is because of problems with the kits we ordered - the kitchen utensils kit and two personal toiletries kits (pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, etc). When we picked up the RV we were informed than they do not provide these kits at Costa Mesa and that we should bring our own. Since we had flown in from Miami that was impossible. The employee than made a call to corporate Cruise America in Carson, CA about 30 miles north near Long Beach.and determined that the kits were available at that location, if we would drive up there and get them before closing time. We drove the 405 and picked up the kits and persuaded the employee at the Carson location to comp us a $30 discount for the several hours of our time this pick up required. This inconvenience could have been totally avoided if the company had better coordination among its franchises. We reserved the RV and ordered the kits 2.5 months before the pick up. There was ample time for the kits to have been sent 30 miles from Carson to Costa Mesa. Or alternatively, state on the website when making reservations that the Costa Mesa location does not provide kits allowing customers to explore other rental options.In every other respect, our experience with Cruise America was great. My wife and I also decided that our future most likely does not include purchasing our own RV. Renting is more than satisfactory and relatively stress free - turning in the keys and walking away from upkeep and repairs is a great feeling.

This Place is a Nightmare. I took my two Sea Doos to Justin for maintenance before a trip to Lake Mead. He told me one of my Sea Doos needed a new short block for $2100. The other needed a carb rebuild and new oil lines. Based on this advice, I sold for cheap the one needing a short block and paid for repairs to the other. After the carb rebuild, the one I kept wouldnt run right after towing it all the way to Lake Mead. I took this Sea Doo back to Justin to fix it -- after I got it home, it wouldnt start at all. I called the guy who bought my Sea Doo for cheap and he reported that a $200 part fixed it --- no short block needed. I had to pay another shop to fix the poorly done carb rebuild -- they said whoever worked on it didnt know what they were doing. I asked Justin for my money back but got nothing. At this point, Im considering Small Claims Court. Stay away from this place.

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to Rack n Road – Costa Mesa. I suppose they would be okay if you know what rack you want and have experience with installing and taking on and off. I do not. During the sales process, they assured me that post install, they would go over the functions of the products so that I completely understood the process of using and removing bike rack/crossbars. They did not. The guy was so casual about it all that he gave me a box with parts, two tools and a strap. He never explained what they were for or how to use them (with the exception of the extra strap). He forgot to give me the keys for the locks, luckily I remembered to ask for them. I think he was new and not sure about the products either because he wasn't able to directly answer my questions and wasn't clear in his explanation of how to for the bike rack and crossbars that I purchased. He did know that the Thule Aeroblade Edge Crossbars that I purchased shouldn't be taken through a car wash. The sales person failed to inform me of that. At $240 EACH crossbar, I would think that might be something they would want to inform me of before I made the purchase.Bottom line is – as a first time buyer, I was looking for customer service that would help me know how to remove, put up and operate for use the purchased crossbars and rack, but instead spent $1000 on equipment that I don't know how to use and can't take through a car wash. I was hoping that a retailer who literally only sells racks and calls themselves the Rack & Hitch Superstore would be able to provide a higher quality of customer service than the internet so that I could safely and properly use the equipment I purchased. Unfortunately that was not the case, instead I've been on google watching videos and researching myself. I will not be returning to Rack n Road or recommending to anyone in the future.
