Had plans on riding the sling shot, we were told to arrive 30 minutues before check in time. Apon arrival, owner showed up late and did not do a pre-inspection on sling shot. Vehicle did not turn on and made us wait 45 minutes. Owner told us we could come back once they change the battery to vehicle. We drive 45 minutes back home and they called and said vehicle was ready to drive. We were 5 minutes away and owner called and said sling shot vehicle was not turning on. Wasted half of valentines day, very unprofessional would not recommend.
Adventureland Bounce House & Party Rentals
3233 Dwight Rd, Elk Grove, CA 95758, United States
I am so glad we chose Adventureland Bounce Houses. My son was ecstatic about the bouncy house for his birthday and he and his birthday guests had a fabulous time. I was very pleased with the reservation process. Very simple and straight forward. We were contacted in a timely fashion about the delivery time - very prompt. The set up was done efficiently. The bounce house was very clean. The tables and chair were clean and sturdy, not flimsy like some companies use. The owner reviewed the precautions and answered all of my questions. The clean up was very prompt. I will definitely use this company again for my future bounce house needs and strongly recommend this company to others.
Caliber Collision
9141 Elkmont Way, Elk Grove, CA 95624, United States
I had an appointment to drop off my truck for repair and also for a rental car company to pick me up. There were two shops and I went into The 9131, and they directed me to the office across the parking lot 9141. My wife sent all the information to Victor. When I arrived, they had my appointment but Ernesto said they couldnt find the assignment number. My wife was told when she emailed the estimate from USAA that if they (at Caliber Collision) needed anything, they would call her back. When I was at Caliber, they said they didnt receive the estimate, and they didnt call my wife back. Ernesto told me they could not take the vehicle today because THEY didnt show an assignment number on their computer. My wife re-emailed the estimate, and they still could not take the vehicle for repair even though it was sent the week before. Ernesto said that the vehicle was safe to drive, I told him that I knew that since I had been driving it, and Toyota who did the original estimate (too back-logged to begin repairs) made the truck safe to drive. I took time off work to drop off the vehicle, and it seemed Ernesto didnt get that, and I had an appointment with the rental car company to come to get me, which I had to cancel. They asked me when I wanted to reschedule... Really? (I am putting this in a nutshell without all the details, the treatment was substandard at best) I will not work with Caliber again. My wife called USAA and told them of our problem, and they (USAA) were mortified since that was one of their recommended shops. USAA told us that Caliber should have called them if there was a problem and they could have straightened out the situation. Come to think of it, I asked the receptionist if I should call USAA and she said it wasnt necessary. I couldnt tell you what their repairs are like, but the customer service was very poor.
Life Storage - Elk Grove
9800 Dino Dr, Elk Grove, CA 95624, United States
I rented a unit for 30 days, had my belongings in the unit for only two weeks because my house was ready for move-in. When we started moving our things into the U-Haul, ROACHES were crawling on my boxes. I didnt move in with roaches so I know darn well they didnt come from me. Now my BRAND NEW home is roach infested. Pegasus Pest control has been out to my house to get rid of them. I reported the roaches to the company and their response was we have pest control. THEN, Oct 28 was the day I needed to be officially moved out (I was already moved out but left the lock on) I called Tara and told her that I didnt think I would make it to the office before they closed (6 PM) to remove my lock and was there anything they could do? She offered to charge me $25 for a lock cut. She closed out my unit and it seemed like it was no big deal. 11/1 She contacts me and say that upper management is requiring me to remove the lock myself and they would not cut it off - even though Tara already told me everything would be fine. I came right in and removed the lock. I requested my $25 to be refunded and she refused to refund me. I asked for the managers contact info, she said no. I demanded that she call him. She called and I was told by Tara that he said he would refund my money and it would take a few weeks. Today, 11/2 Tara calls me and says they in fact will NOT refund my money and that the $25 Is going to be used for rent from 10/29 to 11/2. She again refused to let me speak with management or give me their contact info. I think this is outrageous and very, very crooked business. I have reported them to the BBB.
Mazda of Elk Grove
8588 Laguna Grove Dr, Elk Grove, CA 95757, United States
Usually I dont post negative reviews, in fact, I dont think Ive ever posted one, but I actually cant believe this.About a month ago, myself and Steven Daniel Melbourn-Diaz went to Mazda of Elk Grove to take advantage of the free car wash that they include with the purchase of your vehicle (I bought a 2017 Mazda 3 from them)I only traveled down there so that I could clean my wheels, as they had brake dust on them and were looking less than fresh. After going through the wash I got out and checked my car out, and my wheels were still filthy, so I figured Hey, why not go through again, this time Ill pay to upgrade to the deluxe which specifically states it cleans the wheels. So I went through again, this time paying for the deluxe. While waiting for the wash to start, we noticed the light never went off to signal that the Wheel Cleaning portion was activated.I walked into the office and advised the manager that their car wash wasnt working as expected, and he told me to go through again and that he would authorize the wash to be upgraded for free when we came through again. That didnt happen. At this point Ive been there for almost 45 minutes trying to get my wheels cleaned, and so I walked back in and said hey, it didnt work. I asked if they could just manually clean my wheels, for the trouble, and he said no. He offered me a free car wash upon returning in the future, which I declined, because that didnt make any sense to me at all.I walked over to the service department, adjacent to the car wash area, and told one of the service reps what was going on, and he said Ill take your car around back, and well take a brush to the wheels. I said that would be perfectly okay. He comes back, and my wheels arent even clean. It looked like someone haphazardly brushed them and walked off.Needless to say, I left pissed. Fast forward to today, I go to get my oil changed. I brought my mom along with me, because I wanted the company and because it would be nice to get out of the house with her, even if its to run an errand. We get there, and I walk up the counter, and the car wash guy, is now part of the service department, and is the guy taking care of us. Oh no, I thought. He asks if Im there for a service, I tell him yes an oil change, he asks if I want a tire rotation, I said if its included in the free service, (which it is, all of their services include a free tire rotation) and then he tells me it will be 90 minutes total, that theyre going to change my oil, rotate my tires, and wash and vacuum my car. I was pumped because hey, I like my car to be clean and its been a while. ETA was 1:15pm.Fast forward to 1:15, were ready to go. I go pop in and check on my car, and he says oh itll be ready in a minute.15 minutes later, its not ready. I go check again and he says oh dont worry itll be around shortly they have a backlog in the car wash area, so it wont be long. Then he leaves for the day, or lunch, or whatever and says bye to me. I said, okay, no problem.Another 15-20 minutes later Im annoyed, at this point its been over half an hour over the 90 minutes I was quoted, and my mother has to eat.. (shes a diabetic) I advised the service rep that was there that I would like for him to get my car and if they were in the middle of cleaning it to just have them rinse it off and bring my car around. I had to go.I thank him for doing so, and I sign out with the cashier and go to get in my car.My car is dirty. As in....dirtier, than before I brought it in. It looks like someone slung mud on it or something. All of that being said, Ill never go back to Elk Grove Mazda again, and they have for sure lost my business in the future.Get rid of Ruben, and give Kyle some recognition because he seems to be the only one in that department that knows what hes doing.
Elk Grove Custom Collision Detail Spa
8440 Auto Passage Dr, Elk Grove, CA 95757, United States
We had the unfortunate experience of getting rear-ended coming home from a Big Sur Vacation while towing our tent trailer. On the positive side, we got the vehicle checked out at Elk Grove Custom Detail Collision and even though the trailer was totaled, the car only had minor damage to the hitch ball receiver. The rental service and the attention to detail to make sure our car was not damaged was impressive and appreciated. We would absolutely bring our car back here if we needed body work and we fully intend to get our all our cars detailed here in the future. We were helped by Brandon and Miriama and they were both very professional and did everything to keep us updated through the process.
SecurCare Self Storage
2328 Maritime Dr, Elk Grove, CA 95758, United States
9/18 (Saturday) Arrived at SecurCare arond 10:30 am to find out about availability and rates. Door says Office is open at 10:00 but the door was locked. Sat in parking lot and reserved a unit on my phone. Called as soon as I got home to see if I needed to make an appointment to secure a unit and sign paperwork. She said we could do it over the phone. We did. She was delightful. She gave me my unit number, emailed me docs to sign, and emailed a receipt. It said to put a padlock on the unit immediately. Drove back over, went through the gate with the access code she provided and drove up and down every row for 20 minutes. Could not find the unit number she gave me (and that was on the paperwork).9/19 (Sunday) Went back with a friend to see if they could help me find my unit. NOPE! Called the 877 number to ask if they had a map. He was very rude! We have 500 facilities nationwide. We cant have maps of them all. Its there somewhere. Went back a second time, with someone else, to look for it. NOPE!9/20 (Monday) Called and someone answered the phone. After much confusion, I asked if I came over if he could show me. Drove the 30 minutes back over. He barely looked up from his computer, made some excuse about having Training on Saturday, and pointed to a small roll-up door IN THE PARKING LOT, not behind the secure gate. We had actually tried that door on Sunday, but it was locked. He told me I was wrong, that it wasnt locked. It was. So I quickly tossed a padlock on the unit (inside a hallway) and raced back to work.9/22 (Wednesday) Went over with a truckload of boxes to put in storage. Realized that the padlock didnt do anything and that the other units in the hallway had keys. My unit had a hole where that lock would go. Walked over to the office, around 2:15 on a Wednesday. Door was locked. Nobody was home. Called the call center again to ask about the lock. She was confused, but then said I need a cylinder lock and I could get one in the office. I explained AGAIN that nobody was in the office. Searched all hardware stores, and other storage places for a cylinder lock. They didnt have them. Found them on Amazon, but they come in various sizes. Called the call center to find out the size and she didnt know. She found another one of their facilities in my area and transferred me so I could ask what size. SURPRISE! Nobody was there! Called back and was told they would have the Area Manager call me. I then submitted an explaining the situation. Never heard back on either.9/23 (Thursday) Called to find out what size lock I need. She told me to go to the site. I explained the situation and asked if anyone was in the office today. Was told the Area Manager was at that site today. I questioned why, if that was true, my call wasnt answered by them (I had pressed the number to go directly to the facility). She said maybe she was helping someone else. I explained I live 30 minutes away and cant afford to take more time off from work to drive over if nobody was there. She said shed transfer me to that store. I sat on hold for 47 minutes before I hung up. Called AGAIN, he told me hed send a message to the area manager. I explained the Area Manager has not called me and asked who was above the area manager. He said hed talk to his supervisor.Meanwhile, I have wasted SIX DAYS when I could have been moving things into storage. I have to be out of my house in three days. My storage unit is NOT behind the secure gate. According to the guy who could barely give me the time of day on Monday, and who never said a word about the unit needing a special lock, that door to the hallway is always unlocked (so anyone walking down the street can walk on in) and my unit doesnt have a lock. I might as well dump my belongings in their parkling lot for how secure they would be without a lock which NOBODY will tell me what size I need. They keep telling me to buy one in the office THAT IS ALWAYS LOCKED UP!DO NOT RENT STORAGE UNITS FROM THESE PEOPLE!
