U-Haul of Hayward

The booking process and pick up process were both incredibly frustrating and painful.I should have noticed these red flags before confirming and picked up my Penske reservation instead.I first went to the store to buy boxes and ask to make a reservation. The manager told me to go online which was incredibly off-putting. I made phone reservations and Once I changed the date of these reservations online I was up-charged. My original reservation was cancelled without my request.Truck was vandalized less than 1/4 mile from the store. roadside assistance and this store did the absolute least work to assist me. I waited for over 9 hours to get towed to the store and another 2 hours to get a hotel room. Meanwhile I was sitting outside of a hotel through the entire process. My pet was traumatized from being isolated in a carrier and truck for over 10 hours. I persistently expressed the urgency of the situation but nobody at the store or on the phone seemed to pay me any mind. They have stalled all day and night to do as little as possible to help and prolong the situation. Each time I call I need to explain myself again. They are making me unpack and reload another truck rather than rekeying the ignition and locks. They are not allowing me to remain in the hotel while this work is done.I was going to tow a UBOX trailer for an additional payment of $400, but I reached out to UBOX and they cancelled the trailer tow so now I am unable to recoup those funds.A reliable and customer focused company would heed the call sooner and understand the urgency of this type of request. It should only have taken a few hours maximum to secure me lodging while the situation is remedied (I was sitting right outside my hotel less than 1/4 mile from the uhaul store). Someone from the store should have had the courtesy to come by and help and/or secure me a room in the hotel where I was already parked. They suggested to wait in the lobby, which is insufficient for my animal who needs to have some freedom to move around. I expressed this urgency many times.Alas, the entire day has been burned because of lackadaisical customer service.Never using UHAUL again.

Aarons Body Shop
27751 Industrial Blvd, Hayward, CA 94545, United States
We took our 2013 BMW 640i coupe to AARONS per our auto insurance provider which is Allstate by the way for the first of two shops they recommended for a minor dent to the passenger quarter panel left for us by one of our fine citizens who of course it should go without saying left no contact information just the damage which defines their blatant ignorance and disregard for others. Location Safeway/CVS parking lot located at Jackson & Cypress Hayward, Ca. Upon arriving at AARONS their work areas inside along with property space including their long driveway filled with cars being repaired and probably even more waiting to be worked on very very busy but that didnt stop members of their staff from recognizing greeting and welcoming us inside which spells great service which mind you takes place from where I pulled on their property/driveway approach which was just short of being placed on the street again very very busy which is a very good thing to see it says they do great work. Doors held open very polite very professional very attentive to our need in being their, active listening skills prompt attention to coming out to assess the damage come back inside communicate the estimate to us and i would say go out of his way to have us know that were not required or obligated by law to have his shop do the the repairs or any other shops the insurance would refer were entitled to take it where ever we choose and that with the amount of work they have even as minor as the damage is their probably not able to do the work until the 1st or 2nd week of october. Our car has not even been started let alone finished and their level of service thats obviously rooted in their honorable forthright respectful approach to their customers from the insurance company down to the insured customer/motorist and the work they do for them which their reviews SUPPORT, review after review after review after non stop review. Now i almost stated which is a level of service worth waiting for when I took note to were not waiting its service thats already happening. AARONS BODY & PAINT of Hayward California & ALLSTATE INSURANCE COMPANY you have my business now and will continue to do so along as their in business. My ESTIMATE/QUOTE $1494. now Im not a body and fender guy but PALLADIUM PREMIER AUTO BODYs quoted estimate was $8,500 which they didnt put in writing suggesting or coming to that by way of the car having zero prior damage and a only a complete quarter panel replacement repair could bring it back to its original undamaged condition as opposed to a pulling and filling repair which doesnt meet the original undamaged condition. Im sure AARONS will replace the quarter panel to repair it even if the cost would increase. Actually he didnt discuss what direction of repair they had in mind and i didnt even consider it at all until Palladium threw their highway robbery insurance fraud estimate at me that likely involved heating pulling with strong suction working it smooth from inside behind the rear interior panel and lightly filling any low spots and charging ALLSTATE $8500 for their $500 job. BEWARE of PALLADIUM website advertises newly located in Hayward 15+ years experience. Id be interested in knowing why their newly located and not at their alleged prior 15+ years experience location?

My rental car blew out a tire in hayward, the rental agency sent me on a wild goose chase before finally recommending aal-star.When I got there, the staff was ready to help me even though they were closing soon and I had no information about how the rental agency would cover the cost. They had me line up the car and they got a new tire ready while I tried to get more info from my rental agency.Super friendly and helpful staff. The whole team jumped in just to change out 2 tires.Highly recommend for honest service.
NOR-CAL Moving Services

My move was from CA to NC, for both household goods and vehicle transport. We packed our own goods, and opted for full-value insurance. The full cost for the service was $10,360.My experience with having my household goods moved was exceptional! The crew arrived on time, and called about an hour before arriving. The crew arrived, took a quick inventory, and proceeded to move my belongings to the transport truck. The team was very personable, engaging in light conversation, and verbalized what they were doing in each step.During unpacking, the team that delivered my household goods were equally phenomenal! I really enjoyed how professional the two-person delivery team was--even with having to climb to the third floor with all my belongings constantly. For a cross-country move of a 3-bdrm apartment to only have one casualty, Ill take it with a smile. Thats why we opted for the insurance. Now, all of that was wonderful, and Id highly recommend it. The problem is automotive transport. To have the car moved accounted for about $1,800. The contract provided a guaranteed pick-up window, and a guaranteed drop-off window. With this information, we (my wife and I) pre-scheduled several interviews so we could hit the ground running. The pick-up occurred afternoon on the last day of the pick-up window, no problem. When we arrived in NC, a relative helped us get to the store and buy essential necessities while we awaited our car that was due in by Wed of the following week. On Friday of the week before drop-off due date, I was advised “We should know delivery better around 4/06 - 4/07.”. Keep in mind that our contract states that the car is guaranteed on time by 4/8.The following week would prove that this company does not stand behind their promises, and the guarantee is worthless. I was later notified that the car would be two days late. In response, I asked about the rental car since the contract states that a rental car will be provided if delivery is delayed. I was offered a $35/day reimbursement, and not provided a rental. In my area the absolute cheapest rental was $77/day plus taxes and fees.At this point the company was in beach of contract as they did not provide the rental car. This caused us to miss one of the interviews that we had scheduled based on the guaranteed delivery date; believing that if the car was late, wed get a rental. A lot of back and forth went on, a lot of sorry, and still no car. Several days later and still no car, still no rental, and still in beach. Finally, I was advised that management approved to pay the difference between the $35/day offered, and the current rate. When I dashed how this would work, I was told it would be a reimbursement. Absolutely not! Not only am I expected to pay $77/day plus taxes and fees for their failure to uphold their guarantee, but I also had to pay a $300 deposit. The total cost to me at time of rental was going to be about $750! I had $0.85 in my bank, and $300 left on my credit card (made sure I kept that available just in case the car was late and I had to put a deposit on the rental they provided).Numerous emails were sent, numerous requests to speak to management, and I got ghosted. No one could assist me. Not from NOR-CAL, nor Allied Van Lines. I even reached out to Lesli Bertoli (VP & General Manager, Alas Van Lines), with no resolution offered. My car was FINALLY delivered today, SEVEN days past the latest guaranteed delivery date. All told, we missed, or had to reschedule, three separate interviews for work because our car was not delivered when it was guaranteed to be delivered by. Now were struggling to figure out how to pay our bills next month since we wont have enough time at work to get paid before the bills are due.The company charged me based on a contracted agreement, they broke that agreement, cost us three interviews for gainful employment, and all they say is sorry. So much for guarantees, though I guarantee that if I broke the contract, Id be fined and wouldnt get my stuff until I paid the fine.

I stayed at this hotel five days for a business trip (company training class). I picked this hotel due to its cost, location, amenities, and proximity to the training I was attending. This hotel is not too bad:1. I really liked the continental breakfast. There were lots of food choices and the hot food was different every day, it tasted decent too. You can even make your own waffles.2. As far as location is concerned, It is not in the best area of town, although, it is much better than staying in Oakland. This hotel is located on a very busy street and there is some traffic noise that can be heard inside the room, but it wasnt too bad as I was able to sleep okay. One good thing is that location is very convenient as there are a few decent places to eat within walking distance from the hotel. The bad thing about this, was that my room had a constant smell from the El Pollo Loco right next door. The inside of the hotel seemed nice and clean, and the lobby looked pretty modern as well. The rooms themselves, although somewhat small, are pretty good too and they did a good job of dampening noise from the adjacent rooms. The room also included a microwave and mini-fridge. The TV was also good and had a decent selection of channels (although only local channels were in HD).I never used the pool or the gym while I was here, so I cant really comment on those.

Renters beware. In 25 years in business I've never been this up charged. Was charged literally thousands of dollars because some extremely minor damages like “dings” on the wheel or seat. Wasn't expecting to pay triple of what ever it costs to fix . They charge you what ever they feel like. The cost Paid was probably 25% of what the rental was even worth. They were never serviced EVER. Then expect you to pay for things going wrong when they never get serviced, or cared for, or checked on, ever. They didn't want to work with me at all and could care less that I'm pulling all my rentals after doing business for a long time. Keeping your customers happy is extremely important, not the most effective thing to do when we rent up to 10 units a month from different places. Working with me could have saved you a HUGE renter in the area that has been renting units for over 25 years. A business that pays for almost the value of your lift in a YEAR.Would not recommend. Unfortunately for them their reviews reflect how they run their business. Feel free to reach out and make it right.

Very rude and disrespectful! I went in to try and get an estimate for my car. This is my very first time using this company call snapsheet and I was trying to explain to them that snapsheet comes up with their own estimate first and I am also able to get my own estimate done as well. So I go here to get an estimate and they telling me since I have an estimate done already I can't get another one done and they can't help me. I was trying to explain the process of what I was told from snapsheet but the man Jerry got upset with me and told me I'm not listening and that they can't help me and then the real heavy set lady that sit in the back was also very rude to me. I was really so confused because they really denied giving me an estimate and because I didn't leave when they ask me to because I was trying to get them to explain to me why they are refusing my service when I never once was rude or loud. They guy Jerry told me that he was going to call the sheriff on me if I don't leave. Remind you I've been here before to get work done on one of my other cars through insurance Allstate so I don't know if they was prejudging me and thinking I want be able to pay for the damages or something because I don't understand why they couldn't just give me an estimate when it doesn't take long to do so. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth because I just wish they could have been more understanding and had patience with explaining to me. I hope y'all experience goes better than mine but after what I just experience today I want ever go back there for business again because I didn't deserve the rude impatient service I received. I was hurt by they way they acted towards me and that's not a good feeling big disappointment.

I was getting all my materials from this place for about a year, what at the beginning I tried to ignore as a one time mistake or a bad day, repeated multiple times with consistent patterns.First of all is this repeated incident of sneaking in small extra charges into my invoiced purchases. one time For one trip delivery they charge two trips, the other time for a deposit on 10 pallets they charge you 12 and more similar incidents. And worse is when you bring it up to them they refuse to accept.Second some of the people at the store are very rude, they give you this feeling that they are making you a favor by just answering your questions or accepting you money. After a year of putting up with them finally changed my shop. Much better experience so far.
Er 24 hour truck tire repair mobile service
21901 Meekland Ave, Hayward, CA 94541, United States
I shredded a tire on my bus coming across the Bay Bridge at 1am on Sunday morning. I called another bus company to come and get my clients, anticipating that it would take several hours to get a repair truck on site. After many calls to other 24-Hour shops that either didnt answer or were unavailable, I was referred to ER. He quoted a time and a price (with a replacement tire b/c I didnt have a spare). Thirty minutes later he was on site, and after another 45 minutes I was back on the road -- for the exact price quoted. Had I called him first Id have saved a lot of time, and wouldnt have needed to hire the rescue bus.
