To whom it may concern,In May of this year my Fiancé I moved my things into two (2) separate units in Hemet, California, entrusting you with all of my family's earthly possessions. July 26th we were informed that the AC unit located directly above one (1) of the two of our storage units and water was flooding into our unit pretty profusely. We were told that we could get out as much as possible but that they closed at 7pm so we should hurry. So we moved what we could salvage from the water and did not want to further put at risk out of the flooded unit while employees watched us slosh through out wet belongs. We moved the things we were most worried about such as our electronics, games, camera equipment, baby shower gifts, children's clothes and toys. We moved the things of importance to a unit across from the flooded unit. We took a loss on all of the things damaged in the flooded unit and we took it with a grain of salt. Fast forward to November and we're being told that the unit we were given for free wasn't free at all because they auctioned it off without so much as a text or phone call. Everybody at the storage location is assuring us that all would be well once we speak to Sylvia Brooks, whom I believe is the district supervisor. My Fiancé then spoke to Sylvia who tells us not to worry that she understands that they made a mistake, is extremely apologetic, and won't even bother to go through insurance because she wants this taken care of personally and promptly. She ask for an inventory which we send to her and she follows up by saying she contacted the buyer and that he cannot sell us back our things because he already sold them. She also tells us that he says it was just some games and junk ( junk that sold pretty quickly I guess) in the unit and she can only offer us $1,500 of what was at least $7,000 even with depreciation. We're told that this is a best and final offer, take it or leave it! So the price she placed on items we never intended to sell, the start of our new life, and documents pertaining to our family's identity is now only worth $1,500 to uhaul. All of our kitchen supplies for Thanksgiving were in that unit (standing mixer and attachments, pans, dishes, all of my bakeware for business and our family). My fiancé works as a photographer part time and all of his equipment was in the unit along with all of our gaming equipment. I had a baby in July and all of the things from my baby shower are gone along with my other children's clothes and toys. All of the things we needed to start our life now that we're in our dream home gone and we're being told to try and replace it all for $1,500. We haven't heard a single word from Miss brooks since she gave us her ultimatum. What about our documents with sensitive information that were sold to God knows whom. I complained on social media only to have them pretend to be sympathetic and have me spend the day calling around from representative to representative to insurance and back. This is not the way consumers who spend their last dimes to rent trucks and storage units from you should be treated. How is this an ethical business practice? We've been told that there is no one higher than Miss Sylvia Brooks and that she has the final say. I was under the impression that this company was run by an Joe shoen but Miss Brooks apparently determines how the company operates since no employee knows a single piece of information on whom to contact when such a travesty is happening to one of it's customers as a result of the company's mistake. I want the reader of this to know that you cost our family Thanksgiving and that my child is without even necessities because you have sold them. We sleep on a floor due to misfortunes brought on by this company and I hope that when you get comfortable in your chair with a hot plate of Thanksgivings best food that before you even take that first bite you remember that my family will spend the day knowing that the UHAUL Corp. stole ours from us.

My husband and I rented a trailer for a day. We picked it up around 9:30am and my husband and brother in law dropped it off around 4:20. My husband went inside, bought 3 drinks and let Mandy (she says she's the owner) know that he was there to drop off the trailer. She told him okay just unhook it and leave it where you picked it up. He asked her if she was going to send her worker to unhook it or check it and she said no that she would go do it later. On Saturday morning I got an email with a charge for using the trailer for 3 days. I called them and she answered. She was very rude on the phone and told me that she was busy with a customer and would call me back and just hook up the phone. I decided to call Uhaul directly to their customer service line. They put in my complaint and told me that Gary the field manager would be calling once he had the situation resolved. Mandy returned my call later on that same day and told me that she had called my husband and he told her that he had gotten stuck at work and that's why he kept the trailer. I don't know what number she supposedly called because she did not speak to my husband. I started to argue with her and let her know that wasn't true and that I had already talked to uhaul and put in a complaint and just left it at that. Not even a minute later Gary calls my husband. This man didn't even give my husband a chance to explain anything and was very argumentative. Gary told my husband that he was there after closing and never saw the trailer on the lot that he hadn't seen it until Thursday Gary told him that we were going to be charged for 2 days and be refunded for the 1 day. My husband told him to check the cameras because he had gone into the store and bought drinks. Gary refused to check them. Either way doesn't make sense for them to charge me 3 days when they say they saw it on Thursday. Go here if you want to get ripped off. Definitely never doing business here again and don't recommend for you to either.

Giving a 3 star due to lot attendant Austin being extremely rude to me when I arrived and threatening to not give me the trailer I reserved after being very rude to me......assistant manager wasnt much help defending her rude employee and didnt care bout how I was treated woulda been 1 star but other lot attendant Jose was a great help in helping hook up my trailer, make sure everythin was workin and even getting the adapter for my suv to hook the lights up to my trailer. Jose ty so much for ur help and Austin u need to learn to respect customers or find a diff field to work in cuz ur customer service sucks

I have recieved nothing less than great service each and every time I go into this office. Michelle Manfredi is usually the one to is attending to me. She is the reason I am writing this review, I just have to express my gratitude for the service she has provided. I am always greeted and offered water which makes me feel welcomed even if I do have to wait in line. This is the first time our family tries this storage place. We usually go to other places who say I get a month free but I end up actually paying the same, or more, as if I would have paid for the second month up front. This place is up front with the prices and you actually save money in my opinion. I was also offered a who moving truck. This was no regular truck it was a U-haul style which caught me off guard and basically saved me more money by that alone. I had to cancel my pick up for a truck at the actual uhaul in town lol. I really love this place and from my own experience with them I feel I wont be going to any other place if I need storage in the future. The service speaks for itself and the truck is such a life saver. I am recommending this place to anyone I know that needs a storage place and I recommend this place to you, the person reading reviews wanting to find the pros and cons or just wanting to see what people say. I am also skeptical when it comes to trying new places but this time Im glad I did because it is my new go to place.

We had a blast on our family camping trip, and were so impressed with Lake Edge Rentals' trailer. It was fully stocked for our family of 6, and had plenty of space! Josh and Katelyn were also super helpful with answering any questions we had about the trailer while on our trip. Camping made easy, would definitely use their service again.

I have nothing but great things to say about this location.It was our first time renting with them. We had rented a trailer and it was our first load for storage. We were traveling from our home in Wildomar which is about a 45-50 minute drive. It got dark on us before we arrived to the facility. When we got close to being there we experienced a lot of traffic. I called the location and Rex answered. I was trying to find out which side of the street they were located on. When we approached the intersection before the location, I realized the road was closed. While still on the phone with Rex I asked why the road was closed? I asked if there was a parade? He said yes it was the Christmas parade. Oh great, we had a truck and trailer full of “stuff” and now what? He said he was also stuck at his location and couldn't get out to go home. It was too far for us to turn around and go home so we decided to “camp out” in the Walmart parking lot until the parade was over. Rex called us two or three times to update us and again when the coast was clear and we could access the street and the entrance. He didn't have to do that but out of the kindness of his heart he kept us apprised of the situation. When we finally got in and got to our storage unit I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the entire facility. We were greeted by Bob who came out and said Rex had explained to him everything that we had been through and was super nice letting us know if we needed anything to just ask.We were very happy with our experience and would recommend this location to anyone who needs a clean, friendly storage facility. We were so impressed we rented another unit there as well.

I would give 0 stars but that is unfortunately not an option. Cube smart as a whole is ok BUT this specific location is horrible.... management (or I should say lack of) is nonexistent, anytime you try to contact someone directly they are never available you will always have to get in touch with their corporate and then corporate will get in touch with management which is just inconvenient. The main reason I am giving this location a 0 is due to our vacate issue. I called corporate (due to not being able to reach the manager)to inform that I would be moving and gave the date corporate explained that they would send an email to the manager to inform and give the date I would be moving and that the manager would reach out to me (which never happened). A few days later I emailed the manager regarding my move and the date because the only email I had received was an auto email reminding me of my payment. She did respond to my email and confirmed my move and sent all information regarding the vacate process. Day of my move my husband pulls up in the uhaul we just rented for 400$ enters our code and it doesn't work. We call corporate who then calls the manager and they say the gate is broken and we have to wait till the following day!!!!!!! We were given no notice!!!!! According to the manager it broke the night before which I completely understand things happen but not giving any notice is just completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Luckily uhaul gave us a free day at no charge. Next day I called the corporate office to make sure the gate will be open and when corporate spoke to the emergency contact because manager was unavailable (how convenient) they stated the gate was still down and would be for the next 2 days. My husband had already taken off work and we had already paid for our uhaul I could not even believe that these people do business like this. After a heated conversation with corporate, management said they can manually open the gate. That is what should of happened to begin with!!!! I never write reviews but due to this huge inconvenience and horrible management I believe people should know how business is ran at this location. Beware.

Juan was the most rude and disrespectful person in have met in my life. I requested a U-Haul from this location and I was in a dire situation and on limited time. When I walked in, he was on his computer and eating an orange, he didnt greet me and hardly looked at me. Fine, cool, people have bad days I get it, but when I told him I was getting a U-Haul and gave him all my information, I pulled out my ID to give to him to process, he was like No, you do it, I texted you the information, look at your phone. He wanted me to do everything myself and did not want to work, fine I let that slide. But then he proceeds to have an argument with me about the return time which was 530pm stating I dont wanna hear nothing when that time comes and you talking about you need an extra day rude as hell. I had to cut him off because he was taking too long to process me, he didnt print out my contract stating his printer wasnt working and then he took his sweet time walking to get the truck. When I looked at my virtual contract, he put the gas dial higher than what I had it in the contract! He does not have a designated area to drop off U-Hauls. When the time came around 530pm my family member called him to inform him we would need an extra day because we hit a snag with a drop off, he proceeded to yell at my family member and say Didnt I tell you that I didnt want to hear you say you needed an extra day? My family member had to tell him they never talked to him before and he goes Oh and then said Yeah yeah Ill text you and add a day fine and that was the end of the call. Newsflash, I didnt get a text but I surely got charged for an extra day. But I was able to drop off the U-Haul maybe 5 minutes after he closed on the same day and had to park the trailer in the parking lot like he told me, but I had to illegally park it because there wasnt a designated area, but thats how he told me to park the truck. If youre thinking about renting from him as a U-Haul customer, dont do it. And if you make the same mistake I did, take photos of everything, inside, outside, the gas dial and look at your contract! I would never rent from this location ever again!
