One star, and if I could give them zero stars, I would. You should NEVER deal with this Livermore U-Haul outlet. These people straight-up LIED to us. We wanted a one-way rental with pickup in Livermore and dropoff in the Salt Lake City area. They told us that with one-way rentals, they would not be able to tell us until the day before pickup where we would have to acquire the trailer – we might have to go as far away as Sacramento to get it. Obviously we wanted to pick it up in Livermore. So, in order to “guarantee” pickup in Livermore, we opted for a round-trip arrangement instead, even though it meant we would have to haul an empty trailer 750 miles back home with us, slowing our return home considerably.Lo and behold, we get a text saying that we must pick up the trailer in Santa Clara! We call the Livermore office to ask if the trailer can be brought from Santa Clara to Livermore and get a flat NO. We ask if we can return the trailer to Livermore at the end of our trip and again get denied. This delays our departure by a full three hours, as we have to drive an hour to Santa Clara to pick up the trailer and then return to Livermore to load the trailer – two hours in weekday rush traffic.(CAVEAT EMPTOR – that's Latin for “let the buyer beware”: I did some Googling and found this: “U-Haul reserves the right to schedule an alternate pick up location and/or equipment as needed, based on the most convenient location with available equipment.” Folks, that means **U-Haul's** convenience, NOT YOURS. Remember when I said the Livermore people lied to us? Yeah. They “guaranteed” that we could pick up the trailer in Livermore. NOT.)While picking the trailer up in Santa Clara (a much larger U-Haul location), we asked the attendant if there were any way we could change the arrangements to allow for a dropoff in Livermore at the end of our trip. Oh yes, certainly. We are handed a new contract stating that dropoff would be in Livermore and we take off.Upon our return, we arrive at the Livermore U-Haul location. The attendant was busy with another customer and said that it would take him a while. He suggested that we just unhitch the trailer and he would email our receipt to us. Since we had been driving all day and it was a very hot day, we agreed, unhitched the trailer, and went home.About an hour later, the attendant called, wanting to talk about the “charges.” He claimed that we owed an extra $20 per day for every day after the first day of our trip. This would have more than TRIPLED what had been charged on our credit card by the attendant in Santa Clara. He tried to tell us that our contract said something it did not. “Look at the right-hand column where it says ‘X.'” Um, it doesn't say anything like that. “Take a picture of it and text it to me.” Sure, no problem. After seeing the photo of the contract we had in hand (sure glad we insisted on a paper copy of that contract from the attendant in Santa Clara!), the Livermore attendant agreed to “waive the extra charges.” Yeah, the charges that he wanted to tack on – the charges to which he was not entitled IN THE FIRST PLACE.We have never seen such a bunch of bait-and-switch tactics in our lives. DO NOT USE THE LIVERMORE U-HAUL LOCATION.

Thought it was a good place to work for but after almost 5 years, I found out they had their hands in allowing undocumented workers work on their site in Pasadena, and from time to time in the refineries, and they had an inside embeslment gig going on between their top purchasing employee Ashley heuring,and their top employee esdras Ortega, their is a lot of scandal going on at that company, I would definitely stay clear of them or they will try and get you in trouble, I see now why they are selling out to another company ... Dont believe me,,, see who works their and who dont anymore 6-25-24,after I helped them see what was going on within their business, didnt get a thank you or anything. These people are definitely crooks.

My wife arranged for our unit. She had called PODS for an estimate. At the end of the conversation, the call representative wanted a credit card to hold the reservation. When my wife stated she was only getting an estimate, the entire tone of the representative changed and stated the quote, which was over $600, could only be guaranteed for a short period time without a credit card. Totally different experience with UNITS. My wife got a follow-up call from UNITS (from an actual person at the company!) in response to her online inquiry. When she stated she was only getting an estimate, as nice as can be, their person said they were there to help when she was ready to book and wanted her to know they were having a summer special. Bottom line, we were able to get a 12 foot unit for $200 less than PODS quoted for an 8 foot container. It was a no-brainer as far as we were concerned. Delivery was fast and easy. the person who delivered out unit was very professional and experienced. He used the robotic arm to drop it in our driveway - no fuss, no muss. Container was very clean. What really impressed us was when they came to pick-up the unit. They werent able to pick-up the container before our rental period ended (which to be honest came down almost to the day). Since it was an issue on their end, they did not pro-rate or charge any additional fees. When a billing error was made, I called their office (and spoke to a real person in the office!) and explained the situation, they apologized and fixed the problem promptly and efficiently.Amazing customer service, quick, prompt and professional. There were so many things that went right with this experience, were not able to list them all. We will be doing another project on our house very soon. Again a no-brainer - definitely using UNITS. Save yourself time and dont bother calling PODS.

My first agent never took the time to explain what my policy consisted, until I switched over to Katie's office and had Kendra break down my policy. Kendra has been a good friend to me for many years, and I was more than ecstatic to find out she was filling to take over my policy. She took the time to explain to me in detail what I was paying, and was very patient. She cares about her job, in fact she even manages to deal with clients after she's off the clock. She is a hard worker and very empathetic with her clients. I've always been iffy dealing with insurance, and it is so reassuring knowing I am in excellent hands by Kendra and Katie! I know if I have any questions or doubts I can rely on these two ladies. I am constantly telling my friends to switch over to StateFarm. Best auto insurance I've had! I will continue doing business with them. Thank you Kendra and Katie for al you do :)

Ill start this review with one of the movers bringing their baby to the move site and leaving the baby in their car on a 98 degree day. Yes, you read that right. Theres so much to cover, but this should give you an idea of the service you should expect.We noticed that one of the employees car was running out in front of our house while they were moving our belongings. We looked in their car and could see a 1 year old baby strapped in a car seat. The air conditioner was on, but no one was watching him. We told the employee to not leave their baby in the car because, obviously, the baby could die. So we baby sat their baby while they worked. Seriously. You cant make this up.During the initial consultation, I told them I wanted a 1,600 lb safe to be moved. This was documented. When the movers showed up, they did not have a dolly to use it. Without permission, they used my dolly, which is not rated for that much weight, to move it. About an hour later, they barely made any headway and at one point, I saw my safe on its side in my driveway. There are now scrapes all up the side of it. It had been in pristine condition. As they moved it out of the house, they didnt protect the doorway and caused damage to the home on the way out.When they realized they needed help, they called for reinforcements. The two guys that showed up to help reeked of marijuana so bad that my house smelled like a marijuana field for an hour after they left. Oh, it should be noted they drove the moving van in that condition, so I can only imagine that they were DUI.When the moving van arrived a week later at my new home, we discovered that the movers had placed multiple items on top of our bedroom furniture and caused permanent damage to our bed, dresser and nightstands.It took them almost 11 hours to load the truck from my home in CA, but when it arrived in another state with a competent crew, it only took 4 hours to unload it. At one point during the 11 hour loading in CA, all three of my bathrooms were occupied by movers taking a grumper in all three of my bathrooms. I seriously had no where to go when I needed to go. I only assumed they had Taco Bell by the damage done.In the middle of all of this, I called Bekins to let them know how bad things were going. The guy that did my initial consultation called me and he was speechless when I told him about the baby in the car. I asked for a manager to call me asap. I got a call back two days later, but only after sending another email asking for contact. Now Im praying that I get reimbursed for the damage done.Basically, if you cant trust them with their own children, how can you trust them with your worldly possessions?It should be noted that the team at the other end of the move were awesome. They were careful with our things, were respectful, and worked quickly. Those four guys I would recommend for any move.Edit:The GM has since posted a reply to my post. Sir, you told me on the phone that you would make it right. Youre not making it right by not calling back or not knocking the price down for the stress and difficulty your company caused. You have since not done anything to make it right.Also, it appears you might be lying about not using those people anymore. Sure enough, one of your employees told me they were being used one more time a few days later after our conversation. Again, that is not making it right. If you kept them, thats fine. Keeping them or firing them is up to you. However, the point here is that it appears you lied and looking at other comments, it appears status quo for you.

Should have checked Yelp before we showed up here. We bought a new 29 travel trailer, and we had great interactions with Jake (Dublin) and Caroline (Livermore) by phone. Signed the contract on Sunday afternoon and brought the trailer in on Monday morning. The aisles between the parking spaces are exceedingly narrow, have nearly zero clearance when turning at the end of each aisle, several vehicles (trailers, boats) extend over their allotted space making it that much more difficult to safely navigate through the parking lot, and the 35 spots are actually quite a bit shorter since they are diagonally oriented but they measure from stripe to stripe. (Said another way: a 35 trailer parked in a 35 slot would extend at least 3-4 beyond the stripe.)Now Ill freely admit that we are new to trailers (though weve driven RVs for years), so we are not the most experienced when it comes to parking a trailer in tight spaces. But the layout of the lot, and the tight turning radius at the end of each aisle, made it harrowing (to say the least) to navigate in the lot, and we decided that we would not be able to reliably park here, navigate around the existing vehicles in the lot, and keep our vehicle and those in the lot safe.Given that this was less than 24 hours after signing the contract, I requested our money back (less the administrative fee), and the owner refused, blamed me for not knowing how to park, and made it very clear that Id be out Januarys pro-rated rent and all of February (nevermind that the total time we spent in the facility was less than one hour).Given this exceptionally short-sighted approach to customer service, I cant recommend this business at all.

They are very crooked and committed auto fraud against me. I would NOT recommend them to my worst enemy, they committed auto fraud against me by mispresenting the history of the car before selling it to me. They said it was a loaner vehicle from the Santa Monica Land Rover, but when I contacted them it was confirmed as a lie since it was a rental vehicle from like a an enterprise or hertz. They also told me it was never in an accident, but the car has evidence it was in a collision.Unless you want Livermore Land Rover and Jaguar to ruin/damage your car, depreciate the value of your car by using their service dept, or allow people to take your car out joy riding, I would not take it here for your own safety!! Do not trust them at all! They have lied to me on consistently and are trying to intimidate me. Im afraid for my life, so Im posting this on here so everyone will know who hurt me if I wind up missing. Now they hired someone to intimidate me on their behalf.They have tried canceling my loan, but by law they cannot do that plus they illegally charged me for DMV fees and financed it and never paid the DMV for the fees, so the DMV sent me a bill for $514. They never gave me the buyers guide and never provided me with the certified preowned inspection report when requested.I purchased my car from them on 7/21/18 and as part of my purchase agreement, Don Ingles, the GM agreed to touch up some areas on my Range Rover. They picked up my car on 7/25 and delivered it back to me on 7/28 and kept it for 4 days and 3 nights. When my car was returned, it had an extra 33 miles on it. The person who worked on my car does not even have a State license to perform auto body work to a Land Rover, let alone any car, took my car joy riding, damaged it by having it keyed, added more door dings, over sprayed my car with cheap paint, didnt install the panel correctly and didnt do the work they were supposed to and caused a bunch of other damage since they are not trained to do auto body work. It looks horrible. See photos.When they took my car out Friday night (Im assuming it was Friday night since they had it until Saturday afternoon, they programmed their favorite Hispanic channel into my presets, when I only had 97.7 on it, had the stereoWhen I called Don Ingles, general manager/owner to tell him what I had discovered right after it was delivered to me, he told me I was being too picky and reminded me I bought a used car. I reminded him that we inspected the car and none of the additional damage was there. They sent it to a cheap street vendor do they could make more money from my purchase. Now they are trying to force me to use the GM of Livermore Auto Malls best friend and neighbor of 17 years to fix the damage now, so he can cut corners, but I refuse for them to cheat me again, so my car has been with them since 7/31, while Im driving their loaner car and we still havent resolved this matter as of 9/24/18.I am not even sure how many times they ran my credit or had other lenders run it, all I know is my credit score has been reduced significantly and they only presented me with one offer the one that was in the sales agreement and then a week or so ago I received a letter from Capital One stating they were closing my offer to finance my car which I didnt even know about and it was never presented to me by Don Ingles. Im investigating if there were more offers they didnt present. They did a lot of horrible things to me and I am still trying to get my car fixed, money refunded from all the illegal charges and reimbursements from all of the expenses they have inflicted upon me.They have threatened, bullied and harassed me and will most likely do it to you. I would recommend going to the Walnut Creek or Marin Land Rover, since they are not owned by these crooks.
