If I could give ZERO stars I would. I rented a box from them in September. My box was stolen. I subsequently went through utter HELL. They ended up charging me for a stolen box that I was never even able to use and that I had purchased insurance for. I even made a police report and went through the uhaul insurance claim process which at the end of the conversation they said wait, you had an empty box that was stolen? You dont need a claim, you have insurance, they should just refund you the money. Hours spent on the phone with customer service. Never able to actually speak to anyone at the location. I was told repeatedly by customer service that the only way to get the charges reversed was to talk to the location directly. And also that they had left messages with the manager to reverse my charges and that someone would give me a call back. So one day I decided to go in, to my surprise there WAS NO ONE WAITING. They point blank have no care to pick up their phone. HORRIBLE. I finally had to file a claim to get my money back. Customer service is absolutely horrible. I had my box stolen and I was directed to every freaking person in the Uhaul system because no one knew what was going on, how to track anything. they messed up my order and I had to physically go in to another location to make changes. I was on the phone for 24 hrs. My moving was absolutely a horrific experience and I ended up being delayed in my moved from CA to NC by two days. And guess what. Today after I have already gone through hell. I was charged YET AGAIN by the same location. And guess what? I called the location and no one picked up the phone-again directed to customer service. This is not the store if you want a long distance move. This store has awful customer service and made the already incredible awful stress of moving 100x worse. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Im about to spend another 15 hrs on the phone. Thank you U haul of Manteca. This is my last time moving with Uhaul. It may be cheaper but at the end you get what you pay for-shoddy customer service, poor knowledge, and the run around.

The fact that my reservation was changed to keyless without my permission. I was only notified by an email. I knocked on the office door people where in there didn't answer. I check my email said keyless reservation. It was 100 degrees outside. I was trying to forget out how to get the key. Finally after I called the 800 number and information. The app wasn't working. I'm at the key box the office person finally comes out to ask if I need help this was 20min later. The key box was hard to get into. If the office person wasn't there I wouldn't know how to get into the key box. What a mess. Never again!

I stopped in in need of a unit right away. I needed a 10x15 unit. Vanessa Herron - the manager - had one unit available. We went over the particulars, then she showed me the unit. And in about 20 minutes, I had the storage unit that I needed. She even got me a senior discount! I had been here about 3 months earlier looking for a unit in case I needed one. Vanessa again handled all my requests, questions, showed me units, and like today, was very enjoyable to talk to, friendly, and genuine! I truly believe that if it comes down to choosing a unit where she is the manager, or somewhere else in town that has comparable prices, most will choose hers just because of how she treats her customers!!

Ive stored my property in numerous storage facilities at various times in my life but extra space storage has always been the best to me. And Whitney is the greatest. I couldnt say one bad thing about the young lady. Every time I go in to pay my bill shes always smiling shes got positive things to say she always makes me feel welcome. And I never know the number to my unit and she always looks it up for me with a smile on her face she never gets frustrated to the fact that she has to do it every time. I had a tragedy in my life 6 months ago when my wife passed away. And the day after she passed I went in two extra space storage to pay the bill and get everything switched into my name. Got to explain to her who I was I had no idea what number my unit was or anything and she said she was totally sorry for my loss and comforted me with many pleasing and positive words. She always tells meyou got this, your wife is looking down on you right now and how well youre doing, keep up the good work. I wish there was more people in this world like her. I actually look forward to going and paying my bill every month knowing that I get to see her smiling face.

I am very disappointed in the quality of workmanship that was done to my vehicle. My vehicle was in and out of this location for about 3 1/2 months and my car is now being sent to another body shop to have the repairs completed and redone.In the beginning, I was getting phone calls as to when I was able to go pick up my vehicle because it was done. Once a time and date was scheduled, I would receive a phone call that the car was in fact not completed.There was dirt in the paint as well as orange peel throughout the vehicle. The body was not aligned, shrinkage in the paint, headlight lenses where buffed and eventually had to be replaced. The gas door was not aligned, then was not able to be opened and then eventually replaced as well. The hood had to be replaced due to a spot of paint shrinkage. miscellaneous parts were lost and had to be replaced.the last attempt to allow this company to correct their work was a big mistake! I was told that it would only be a couple of weeks in the shop. well almost 2 months later, my vehicle was rushed out of the shop because I asked the shop to rent me a vehicle for the remaining amount of time that they would have it due to no longer having my other vehicle available to me. I had the rental (3rd row at my request because of 4 kids under the age of 12) I was then told that my car was complete and needed to be picked up because the boss needed to return my car back to me because i was in a rental at their expense for a week already.I was asked to go over the vehicle and get back to them if there was any problem. the following day I noticed that they chevy emblem on the grill had fallen off, the in side panel of the doors and truck were glued back together and now falling apart. some paint was chipped off.I had emailed caliber asking how to move forward with have the paint addressed and I was told, i got the pictures, thanksit has been beyond upsetting not being able to have my car fixed correctly. My insurance (STATE FARM) recommended this place the day my vehicle was vandalized and I had trusted a company that was this big to be able to handle this kind of job. This is their job to repair auto body work.we have involved the regional manager as well with this situation early on. unfortunately this was not of any help.I will never recommend this company to anyone ever.

Lovelace is the Disneyland of transfer stations. Staff were patient with me on my first visit and that great customer service has not stopped. Ive used both sides, with my flatbed trailer and dump trailer. First thing you notice is how clean the area was. Didnt need my boots for this place. I was mesmerized and watched the bulldozer push everything from the sides to the center and when the pile was high, they bring another big machinery to climb and flatten the mound. Definitely worth the drive from Livermore. Drive a little and pay half of what you would pay elsewhere. The kicker for me is that they are open on Sundays. I dont have to turn customers away on Sundays.

Im having a problem with the weight of my cans and plastic bottles the guy came up with. I dont want to say anything negative about the business because Ive been going there to recycle along time. The place is clean and they work quickly, helping me with filling the buckets if needed. Ill be calling the owner in the morning with my complain and hopefully have a good review. I did mention to the employee I thought I should have gotten allot more than I did. But I left the paper I wrote my weights totals at home. Ill f/u review tomorrowI returned to Go green Recycling a week later with my complaint about not receiving the correct about of money for my recycling last week. I weigh my bags before taking them in. My total was almost twice what I was credited on their scales.Omied Amo the new owner what the situation was. He kept referring to the length of time I waited before coming back. I had called twice and couldnt get in any sooner. Well to make my story shorter He gave me $20 thats about half of what was owed to me. Im grateful that he did that, I guess . My mistake was to leave my list that had my weights written down on it at home. But I did tell him at the time that the amount was off. I really couldnt prove it because the other worker had already taken my cans/plastics away before I got my receipt. Make sure you know the weight of what your recycling is and pay attention to your receipt... Be smart when it comes to your money!! I learned my lesson!Here I go again...I took my recycling in, already weighed at home. Im at the scale while the lady in front of me finishes her business. She had propane tank and some other items. Ok I did not see my cans on the scale. I had two containers of plastics by me, Omied told me to put the other bag of plastics into another container, I was going to add the last bag to one of the other containers, but did as he said to do. I hope Im not confusing anyone reading this ?v By the time I got the container and put my plastics in and moved the container to the scales the lady in front of me got paid and left. I gave Omied my license and then he recognized my name since I posted on FB my review (ABOVE) of his business. Oops too late, my info was already printed out and handed to me.... Without any aluminum cans on the paper!!! I get my receipt and Im looking at it.... None of my cans were included on the receipt!! Fortunately my cans were still near by and I brought it to Omieds (the owner) attention. Hey!! You dont have my cans on here!!!! I pointed to my containers and he said what those are yours? That other lady said they were hers. I paid her for those cans! I said well they are not hers! They are mine! So someone is lying and its not me!. He told me to give him my receipt and he couldnt believe what just happened and said he believed me and weighed my cans then he handed my new receipt with correct info on. Then he brings up my review I wrote and asked me to let people he corrected the error and gave me the $20 that I didnt get. About half of what I should have gotten. Then hes praising himself for paying me for the cans today even though he had already paid that other lady. How he lost money because she lied... On and on! He suggested I give him another review telling people about his good deed today. Wrote his name down and the name of the guy who cheated me the last time I was there, who supposedly no longer works there. Im pretty sure it was he that checked me out when I was shorted by more than half owed me ).Ill let you come to your own conclusion of what happened to me today. Was I going to be cheated again, hopefully not notice my total was incorrect? I never saw my cans on the scale! Not even when they were supposedly added to the lady in front of me. I wish I could have asked to see that ladies total before me. He was too busy praising himself and letting me know I should tell people on Face Book!! My Husband and I moved from Idaho in Feb to California. We researched a good storage option, and decided on North Main Street Storage and booked a package through THEIR website. Well when we got there from our 2 day drive from Idaho with all of our things, we show up to the storage unit only to be harassed by the manager (Diana, her name is everywhere. I couldnt forget it if I tried) telling us that the special we had email proof that we received doesnt exist and she tried to bully us into paying the full $190 a month for the unit-- which I of course refused and told her she would honor the $80 deal we received. She agreed to do that for 4 months and would put notes into the system so we didnt get charged the full amount. So we moved into our unit.The following month I called in 4 days before rent was due to pay-- she couldnt find her notes and was insisting I needed to pay the $190 rent. I refused and told her to keep looking. Diana eventually remembered our interaction the month prior so she allowed us to pay the prorated rent and assured me that she would make sure to have notes on our account this time. Then 2 weeks later while in Texas visiting family I get a call from my mother telling me that we got a letter from our storage place and asked if she should open it, I agreed. The letter was a threat for not paying full rent telling us they were going to lock us out of our unit if it wasnt paid within a few days. I was livid and called North Main Storage only to get Diana. She tried to convince me I was wrong AGAIN. Then after 20 mins on the phone found her notes and assured me we wouldnt be kicked out of our unit.The following month we were still in Texas (thanks Covid), so I called to pay our rent again. Only to do the exact same thing as the previous month-- down to the threatening letter to remove us from the unit for partial rent.The 4th and final month we were in our unit, I asked my husband to call and deal with Diana because I was DONE. Of course he calls and gets wonderful, easy going and competent Kenny (couldnt say better things about this guy, he was awesome.) So within 2 mins Kenny found Dianas note about our account and my husband paid for our final month-- no issues.Then during the 4th and final month my husband and I flew into CA after covid restrictions were lifted to clean out our unit and move our belongings. The first 2 days we were clean it out we had wonderful Kenny, so we werent harassed. Then on the 3rd day we showed up at 9:10 to our unit (it was supposed to be unlocked by 9am btw) and the units are still locked. My husband left me to try to find Kenny to ask him to let us into the building to clean out our unit, but found and unlocked door on the other side of our building that someone else was using to get into their unit, so he walked through it to open our door so we could access our unit. Well at 9:30 here comes Diana who is accusing us of breaking in... and arguing with my husband as he tries to explain that it was going to 106 degree day so we were hoping to get started early, and since the door on the other side the unit was opened he just walked through. She was so hostile to us. Honestly TERRIBLE customer service. Their units get to like 90 degrees during the day (so much for temp controlled).We would NEVER store with them again. It was a terrible experience because of their site manager. There facility is nice for a storage place, but not nice enough to be harassed and accused of BS all the time. BEWARE.
